contractor, customer service, repair
We were very happy with Blue World Pools when we met our service representative June 17. She reported that the contractor would call to schedule an appointment within three weeks. He did schedule that appointment when he called as stated three weeks later. He reported that he would be at our home on June 28 at approximately 9 am, but no one ever showed. We had rescheduled a trip to visit family members, rearranged our schedules to hire someone to take care of a sick family member, and asked friends to take care of our home while we were away. All of this was postponed for one day. I called the contractor believing that he was running late. He reported that he got his wires crossed, but when I called the company he reported to them that the pool kit was damaged. We rescheduled the appointment for the following week.
Everything appeared to go well the following week. The contractor arrived a day early. He and his crew reported that they were going to take down part of the fence to get a small tractor in the back yard which would cost an additional $150 after we just paid him 4000 to set the pool up. We took a deep breath and a leap of faith and paid him to set it up, take apart the fence, and put it back together. The fence is now broken because they did not put the gate back correctly. We will have to hire someone to fix the latch, gate, and remove pieces of cement that was left in our backyard. They also carved dirt to level the yard for the pool. They told me that I would have to disperse the dirt around the yard. It was three piles 6 feet high. I hired two different people, $200 dollars later to level the three piles of dirt. I asked the contractor to put the trash in the front yard so that the trash men would pick them up. They left a huge mess after the trash men left. I packed the car up and went to the local dumpster two times to get rid of boxes, plastic, tubing, and lining. The contractor gave false information about the pool. He reported to keep the filter on 4 hours per day whereas, the website reports to keep it on for 12 hours per day.
After one month our ionizer and vacuum to the pool broke. They still have not been replaced. I read the manual, looked up the product, and did what the instruction manual reported to do if there is a suction problem. I cleared the pathway and was going to disassemble the pump, but was unable to due to part of it being inaccessible. I think it was a blessing that I could not because I could see the service department blaming us for the pump not working. The pump broke in September. I quickly called the company the night that I looked at the pump. My husband called the following morning. By three pm the following day I was back on the phone. The customer service rep was nice, but wanted me to leave my job to get a blow drier and call him when I was by the pool. I asked him what the process was that he was going to lead me through. He just reported that they have a process. I lost my temper, got frustrated, and told them to call the contractor to the house to repair the pump.
I calmed down after thirty minutes, called my husband, and decided to go through "their process" having to leave my work and go home. I called the company back and was in the yard with a hairdryer only to make sure that the electrical socket did not blow a fuse, which it did not. I had a heavy duty surge protector that turned off, but the socket was A ok. The next step they wanted was for me to get DW40 and spray it into part of the motor. Only, I did not have DW40 (this is where I recall asking in the beginning to the service man on the phone what the process was...I wanted to know so that I had everything). I had to stop to go to the story, muddy, dirty, and buy DW40. Here is the kicker...when I did what they said the engine started smoking.
In order for them to send me a new pump I had to get an electrician to come to our home to look at the fuse box to make sure that it could handle the workload coming into it. That did not make sense because we run workloads of electrical currents on the enclosed patio.
They did send the new pump and asked for me to call them so that they could tell me how to install it. After the engine smoking after taking "their" direction I felt safer hiring a local company to take over the care of the pool...I still have not received a replacement for the ionizer that went out on us in July. Horrible service, representatives will be rude, and very guarded about things if you call reporting that something is broken. Contractor leaves 75% mess. I would have preferred to go with a local company. We also had to sign a right to arbitration to avoid suing the company. I know why now.

In may we agreed to purchase a pool from blue world pools. In June it was finally installed. The very nice pushy salesman that came to our house.Kept stating one company one product.Which is a load of bullcrap. Our first installer shows up with 3 kids and his wife. Proceeds to tell us this is only his fourth pool ever installing. He doesn't feel comfortable where my old pool was.So he digs out 8 foot further. Now my new pool is 5 foot from my deck.He then tears my concrete floor that my other pool sit on up.Also charged me 100 extra dollars to do so I might add.So now I have a 12, o dollar pool that has unlovely columns and the liner has huge wrangles in it.He also mixed the concrete with the fill dirt so it cant be used anymore. The piping looked like my 3 yr old did it.Not level and it was leaking. The patented ionizer wasn't hooked up.So after calling blue world pools and complaining. In comes the next installer Dwayne. He fixes the columns, but the piping still looks like the work of a 3yr old.The liner has sharp objects in behind the walls and under the liner. Ionizer still not hooked up.Piping is leaking like a stuck pig.And when you call to complain they get mad at you.Now I'm waiting for another installer to come and repair the pool again. Each time its drained and refilled it cost me 100.00 I'm at 300.00 so far. Not to mention I have a 4ft wide 3ft deep crater in my yard. At this point I just want to be done.We have contacted an attorney and news channel 7 consumer affairs.Well see how it goes when our pool is televised nationally.Lets see how proud they are of it then.

Pool/customer service/rip-off
We scheduled to have my pool installed in June. My husband waited all day and finally had to call the office. "Sir, go ahead and do what you need to do and they will call you." Finally received a call the same day stating the installers had an emergency and someone would call me the next day. This never happened. A couple of weeks later, I received a threatening message on my answering machine that I owe the money since I never returned their calls for installation and am obligated to pay. First of all...no one called set up another install date. Received a call the same day, explained my situation and the person I spoke with 'Kevin' and told him my story and he said 'I'll crawl their butt, for the lack of communication' BUT, never set a date for install. I called a week later and told the manager 'Mario' the entire story and for some reason, my file was placed in cancellation. Mario scheduled and assured me that the installers would be at my home on July 30th and let him know that if they did not show, I would not be obligated to fulfill the agreement. He assured me, this would not happen. I receive a phone call on July 29th wanting to reschedule for Monday. I let this customer service rep know that I did not set the appointment; Mario did and let her know quickly that I would cancel this entire bogus agreement. Needless to say, it is July 30th...no call, no show! I should have known when someone came to my home and wanted to sell me a 22k above ground pool. I'm not stupid and let them know quickly I would not pay for this. This is a cash transaction for a midline. It isn't like I'm financing with their 30% interest program.
Update: Scheduled to install pool on July 30, 2016. Waited, missed my family reunion and finally received a call at 2:40 pm stating the installers were coming from Charlotte NC and running late. By that time, it was raining and the installers can’t work in the rain therefore, I let them know there was no way to even attempt to come out here. Not sure how long they could have worked anyway since Charlotte is approximately 3 hours from here. The installer stated he would call back on the same day but, late in the evening to see if Monday was convenient for us. We have not heard from him to reschedule anything for any day.

Pool installation
Installed a 24 foot pool from Blue World pool on July 16, 2016. After putting approximately two feet of water in pool, I noticed a wet spot at bottom of the side wall of pool.I called the guy who installed it( which was about six hours after he left) and he told me to watch it and that it might not be a leak. On July 18, 2016, I called Blue World Pools to let them know that it was still a wet spot. They told me to go buy a bucket and some bricks and place it inside the pool and watch to see if water level drops to prove its a leak. So after spending all this money on a pool, I have to spend my time and money to prove a leak? This is a bad start of an expensive pool purchase. They should be responsible of this matter from start to finish. I guess the other complainers were right. After you give them your money, they pretty much have that (its your problem) attitude. Dont deal with these people unless you dont mind giving away money and solving other companies problems...

They are A bunch of frauds and scammers they want to scam people out of their money I have read every complaint on this page and they all sound the same these people are not lying about blue whirlpools they are frauds they have not sent me my deposit back is been over a month I'm going to try my best to put a stop payment on the check today because they allow me to post dated that far off they wanted the money so bad I canceled my contract the next day from the representative leaving my house the very next day which was in June 2016 I still have not received the check I just pray to God that I can put a stop payment on it today I hate that I even let them people in my house
Lies and false promises
We had a sales presentation for their pools, handed over a dwn pymt of $1000.00, they had no problem cashing that check w/in 24 hrs. They promised we'd have a pool by july 4, 2016... Well it here it is july 7th, 2016, they gave us a phone number to the installer in columbia, mo, we live hrs away from columbia... But blue world said that the pool was in shipment, but when we try to contact this installer, he has not answered or responded to voice mails.
Today, we call blue world, they agreed they cant get in touch with this installer... Then the rep puts the mgr of installtion on the phone... He informs me that they dont have to give us an exact installation date... Then I questioned the fact the pool should be at the installers, the mgr. Tells me, "no, mam... Its right there at their warehouse".? He went on to say, that they will contact another installation person, and I said now we have to wait until whenever, and therefore we are screwed, and this "manager" had the gall to say "yes, you are screwed"...
I do not recommend doing business with this company! So far its not starting off right at all... Stay away from these con artists... I dont think they have as we were told"their own people that are specially trained to install pools by their own classes"
I think they get on craigslist, and just hire a fly by night person that claims they do handy work...
Bottom line, please dont do business with this company, we are out thousands of dollars right now, because of their bs contract! And they dont care, they have our money... And yes, this company will have a lien on your home... Dont let them tell you any differently, or have them try to "reword" it differently!

Stay away from blue world pool. If you already have one getting in touch with them to come out to check your pool will not happen. Two days ago we had a service repair man tell us he was coming by. We called him and he said he will be here the next morning. So the next morning no one showed up. Mid day called him and he was 100 miles away and he will be here before the day was over. I knew where he was the night before. To get where he was 100 mile away. To get there he went through out city with in 3 miles of us. We never got his name. He lives in Va.He was on his way home and just telling us he was coming by. We give up. We learn the hard way.

Pool
I purchased a pool from Blueworld pools. Everything was great till after a few weeks the thing started leaking like crazy. The tube between the pool and the ion filter is just spraying water. I called Blueworld and to make a long story short it is a month later and the thing still isn't fixed. You would think they would be doing everything they can to fix it but, NO...I mean NO! The water level has dropped so low that the filter won't work and I've gotten a citation from the city. When I told them that, still I'm sitting here worth a pool that looks like a swamp. Mario the supervisor assured me they would do all they can to get the problem resolved. I am so glad that I'm not in Florida because I'm sure there would be a gator living in there. You know, when I called him back today, yes, I had to call him back, after three days, he is still telling me the best they can do is get someone out next Tuesday, this is after I talked to them on Tuesday.

The pool
They were to send out a new installer to fix the pipe going into the pool. When he came the pool was up and running, vacuum attached and fountain. Instead of running the pipe directly into the pool, he has it going in a circle with several elbows. When we got it ready to go into about a week later, all start up maintenance had been performed, we noticed the fountain no longer worked except for a trickle, and the vacuum wouldn't work. He called last Friday and was on hold about 35 min. The tech who came on told us to backwash again and test the pressure and call him back. We did all this and it was from 3.5 to 5. He said they would get in touch with the installer. Called Monday and were told somebody would call back and they didn't. Called Tuesday and this time the tech said the other tech told us wrong. He said to run a pressure hose through the clear hose to see if something is stuck, he did and it made no difference. He called back and he said it must be the pressure valve that's bad and that running the pipe in a circle with several elbows should make no difference. We had a relative who bought a pool local look at it and before we said anything he said "this shouldn't be running in a circle, no wonder you don't have pressure." We then called a local pool company and asked how the pipe from the pump to the pool should be and they said straight in, just what we figured. Also we noted water staying outside the pool on the low end so called and they said "we'll send you the kit but you have to fix it" and also said they are sending the gauge but we have to do that. When we bought this nearly 9000 pool the saleslady said if we upgraded our liner it was much better than the standard liner and had a lifetime warranty, same we've heard about the rest. There are no children in this household, nothing sticking up on the bottom, nothing has been in the pool that's not supposed to be, and now a leak they won't fix. So what good was this "best warranty in the business" if it's leaking? I might add the pool is not even a year old yet and we only used it 3 months last season and it's falling apart. When you call you play phone tag with many different people and it all comes down to "sorry about your luck." On Friday our tech was talking to another tech about them having a pissed off customer (that wasn't me..I talked to him myself and wasn't irritated at all). This isn't a cheap pool from a chain store, it was supposed to be a lifetime pool and it's been nothing but a problem. Calling doesn't resolve anything, you get ignored. So now it leaks, no vacuum pressure, no fountain pressure and my pump is working itself to death. It will cost us 185 just to get somebody to come check the leak, they don't provide this service on my warranty covered liner, and we don't know what it will cost to get the line going into the pool replaced yet.
I'm complaining about this company... Staff and everything
I posted this blue world pools fb...they removed my post and blocked me! They manipulate all comments! They don't wants to people knows what is going on with this company!
The worse company in pools installation! 6 days waiting to finish my pools is not done! They have to remove everything again bcz they installed with uneven ground. The pool was 6 inch depper in one side and the other 1/2 inch of water. They installer place the dirt against neighbors fence and destroyed two sections. They never repair the damages. My back yard and front yard are destroyed. Today the instalator supposed to take down the pool today to fix the ground and they empty the few inches of water at 8:00am with a pump and leaves my house without any communication with us. It is 5:30pm and after more than 10 calls to blue world pool, they notified me that the installer is installing other pool and then he comes back here. Whatttt? They don't finish my pool in 7 days and they are working on other pool? Really disappointment with this company. Grrrrrrrr

Pool & customer service
I purchased a pool through blue world pools only to be highly disappointed! The pool installation wasn't when promised then after installation my children and husband continuously got swimmer ear. To top it off the pump went out on the pool after calling and recording conversations several times they sent someone to replace the pump! Which took 2 months! I cancelled the payment until it was fixed only to receive threatening phone calls from their office by a manager name Luther threatening to place a lien against my property! I told them I wanted to speak with his supervisor he told me no! Then I tried calling back to speak with someone only to get the same man! He never apologized for any of the problems we've had! I asked to return the pool which I've only had a few months he informed me that they don't take pools back all sales are final! He told me I couldn't afford the pool! I told him I make $80, 000 yearly I very much could afford the pool. He laughed and taunted me like I was trash! Then threatened me again! Do not purchase anything from these horrible people! My name is Denise hamby and I have these calls recorded!

Allen at customer support for sales and services is rude and talks like a trailer trash drunk. I've been calling for a week to have someone at blueworldpool to do what they promise as part of the warranty they signed and agreed to when I bought the pool. After one and a half year of owning the pool it is leaking and as part of the warranty they are supposed to send someone out to fix it. No one have called me back and when I call them to ask why the have an attitude and also trying to charge me a fee of $250.00 just to see what is the problem with the pool. THEY SUX BIG TIME!
After bleach the colour of the water was completely different
We bought pool from the company Blue World Pools. The pool was delivered on time and the maintenance was easy. The rep advised us to use the bleach once and told that water would remain clear for whole summer. But after 3 weeks water was dirty and the colour was grey or green, we cleaned it again with the bleach, but this situation repeated again. The company hasn’t commented this situation.

On May 28th, I signed a contract for an above ground pool through Blue World Pools Inc. First of all I was to get a 24' midline pool installed no later than June 28th. Meanwhile I was contacted with an offer for the upgraded version which I unfortunately agreed to. It is now July 27th and I still have no pool. What I have received so far is nothing short of pure hell from these people. I have been lied to so many times in the last 2 months I have lost count. I have been told that I am liable for 6, 000 dollars even if I don't want the pool, so I am stuck dealing with these crooks for a very long time... I just want to forewarn anyone considering buying a pool from these people. I wish I would have researched this company before I got involved with them but there is nothing I can do but live with my decision. Please take the time to research this company before you sign any contract, they are very shady people!
Not standing behind the pools
we bought the blue world pool and not even a year old the pump started to leak, I called the pool co and all they wanted to do is sale me another pump what about the warranty it cant be out all ready, when we bought the pool we told them that we weren't able to work on the pool except normal maintenance but it has been a lot more then that.
Pool buckled after 2 seasons
I purchased a pool after buying our home 2 years ago. The pool post has buckled. I called Backyard Masters and they asked me to take photos. I went to the store in Farmindale on 4/3/15 and Elyse took my phone and emailed Dustin the pictures and my receipts. She said it is a Doughboy pool and that should have never happened and she has not seen that happen. She said Dustin would call me tomorrow after seeing the emails. That was 11 days ago and nothing. I have called the store 4 times, one spoke with Elyse who said she will have him call me and 3 other men. Elyse told me that they could submit a claim to the manufaturer. I wanted a written copy of a pool warranty from Backyard Masters and no one could provide it for me. I was told they were too busy to talk. I have questions about what to do and even if it is not covered I need the pool fixed so it does not cave in. No one has helped me or return my call. I called again today and was told call the installer. I said I want to speak with a manager or Dustin please and no one has told me to call the installer. They do not care about their customers and are a horrible company. I need some guidance as to what to do with the pool and no one can help, they rush you off of the phone and do not have time to answer a question they are all huffing when they answer the phone like its a bother.
Pool purchase
We bought a blue world pool, we were pressured and then our loan was sold after about a year. They did not tell us that the ionizer was only available from them, my pump is now broken and I can not find anyone to repair it. I do not know what is going on with the loan the company that it was with to is now in bankruptcy, I have not made payments because I...

We signed a contract for a pool, which they changed the terms of too many times to count. We decided to cancel after reading various complaints about the company and also finding out that we couldn't insure the pool without a fence, which we could not afford at the time. When I call to cancel on the 2nd day, I am told that Kevin Fisher is only authorized to cancel my contract and he's not at his desk. 2 days later, he returns my call. By this time, we are outside of the 3 day window. I also find out at this point that I would have needed to cancel in writing within the 3 days. Since it's too late to cancel, I decide to go ahead as planned, but with them offering me a lower down payment. 3 weeks later, they still have started no work or show any signs of starting work. So I call to cancel again, this time my mind is made up. Well guess what... Mr Fisher is not at his desk again. So I leave word that I am canceling and suddenly they want to try and track him down for me. So they do and he spouts off something about a UCC-1 and placing a lien against my home and reporting to all 3 credit bureas. So at that point I let Mr Fisher know tht I am not able to insure the pool and it says in the contract tht we must carry insurance and 3 other lines about insurance. He then says to me, " oh, that's on the econoline pool, not the midland. " so now I'm shaking my head and wondering why you would need insurance on one of their pools but not the other. And btw I went back and checked and the contract does not say what he said it says. So, I politely told him to thank you for his time and to have a nice day and now I am printing every complaint I can find to send to my attorney general as well as several news channels and anything else I come across. These people are scam artists so please do not sign anything with them.
Oh and I forgot to mention that when I did finally cancel, Mr Kevin Fisher was more than happy to take that cancellation over the phone.

if you get another pool, do what we did and put the fence structure around the top of the pool. I also put on stairs with a locking gate.
I am not currently working at the time and I called to notify them that i have recently got a new job and so when I get paid I would be able to make a payment. This guy was very rude, hateful bad mouth me in everyway he could. Very unprofessional. I also told him that I called him for two days and no one would answer. He stated to me that they are open except on Sundays I said well this was on a Wednesday and Tuesday. He also stated to me that I needed to contact my cell phone carrier because of me not recieving phone messages I said not I do not. He threaten me stating he has sent paperwork to the county cuz of the lien on the house I said I never signed those papers so actually that contract is all an voided because you can not have those contract with only certain papers. I said he needed to call JPChase Morgan because that is who we have our house financed through so if he wanted to fight with them he could. I would never give up my house for a pool that is why I refused to sign it but they company was willing to except that because there are ways around it well not if I didnt sign those papers. I would never recommend this company to my worse enemy. They didnt even tell us how to use the chemicals the right way. We actually had to have someone that was professional enough that knows about pools to tell us what to do. How can you have your installation people installing the pool and signing the contract at the same time. That is why i didnt sign the lien paperwork for my house. Sorry Blue world pool you have no lien on my house unless you sign my name without autorization.
Poor customer service
I called the company to inquire about an above ground pool that they were advertising and they took my info and set up an appointment to come out to my home. They asked me who was on the title to my home and I advised them I was the only one and that I got the home before I was married. They wanted my husband’s name even though I told them that he works out of town most of the time and I home maybe 10% of the year.
At the appointment, a man name Billy Williams came to my
home and asked where was my husband. I told him he was not there, but he may talk to me because I am the sole owner of the home. He said he would have to call the office because they need both people here. He passed the phone to me to his office and they explained to me that since I was married that I needed to have my husband there to purchase a pool, I told him I can make all purchases because I am the only owner of this house and my husband trusts me enough to purchase a pool if I want one. He asked if I was authorized to purchase a $30, 000 pool and I told him even if I was going to purchase an expensive pool if I wanted to my husband would be ok with it because I know our budget. He said he would tell Billy to go ahead with appointment so I gave phone back. Billy stepped outside and came back in saying I would need to reschedule for when my husband is here. So his office people lied to me.
Meanwhile I am holding my 9 month hold son this whole time
so I was pretty upset having to argue with this company because I am a stay at home mom and my husband works that they could not talk to me and let me make purchase decisions or maybe it was because I was a woman. Billy left and I called the office. They put me through to a manager name Jason. He was very rude. He had already knew the whole story and told me that he does not believe that I can make a pool decision without my husband and asked if I have ever been in sales and then proceeded to tell me that they are always trying to sell the most expensive pool. I understand that but if I am the sole owner of the house then you should be able to talk to me about a pool that I want for the house because when it comes time to sell it, I am the only one selling not my husband since his name is not on title. Jason said they have an A + with the BBB and that it doesn’t matter, we are not coming out to see me and hung up.
This company is out to get people’s money and they have poor
customer service. I would recommend homeowners do not use this company because even if your significant other is away for military or work they will not talk to you.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Not a complaint!!!
I dont' have a complaint, they treated us very fairly. On may 10th 2013 we had the representative come to our home, and we did actually sign the contract for a pool. Later on that same evening we decided we may have jumped the gun and made an expensive hasty decision. So I immediately called the representative and let him know of our decison to cancel the...
