Called blue world pools last week and a representative came out this past Sunday. He gave a good presentation, unfortunately he tells what he is told not what he knows. After going through everything we agreed to get a 'show pool' for around $15, 000. He said the payments would be at the 'high end' based on a 24.9% interest but we should call Monday to speak with Kathleen Payne to find out exactly what the interest would be. It would range between 16-24.9%.

Well I called many many times on Monday from 9am -9pm central time and left several messages. No one returned my calls so needless to say I began to have serious doubts about a company where you are unable to reach the person. I called again first thing Tuesday morning and suprise she answered. I asked her if she had a chance to see what my interest rate would be and she said she hadnt begun to process my order yet and it would be Wednesday before she got back to me. I then told her 'no, I need to know now because I am not going to pay 24.9% interest and Wednesday is the cut off point for the 3 day cancellation.' She then informed me that the 24.9% interest is their interest rate and since I was going to cancel she would give my file to Mr. Allen Shenker and have him call me as she is not authorized to handle cancellations.

I called Mr. Shenker numerous times Tuesday and left 2 voice mails and of course still no answer. So I typed up a letter of cancellation, left work early, went to the post office and sent the letter overnight express (16.00 worth every penny to get away from this company). Checked usps website today and it was at the location at 9:30a.m Wednesday. I have spent a good portion of the day trying to reach this Mr. Shenker to no avail. Finally reached Mrs. Payne again to ask her if she had indeed sent my file to him and she said she did and could not answer as to why he has not called me. Then she asked me if I had a receipt from the post office showing when it was sent and I told her of course. She said she would get the information to him again and get him to call me.

I know my bases are covered but I also have called my bank and had a stop payment put on my deposit check with a note that the reason for the stop payment is due to cancellation within the legal 3 day contract cancellation period (after all no need for them to cash my check if there is no contract). I have also contacted my attorney who is ready to nail them to the wall if they so much as think about putting ink to a piece of paper to place a lien on my property. So hopefully I wont have to go through what some of you have.

One of these days I will learn to do a complete research on a company before even considering doing business with them in which there is alot of money involved.

I bought a pool from these guys back in June of this year. In the begaining we had some problems with them in just getting our pool installed but recently Sean Warren the owners son called and did his best to make everything rite on our part. He did a good job I think they will work with you if you talk to the rite pepole. We got our pool in June of this year and we really love the pool and we are glad now that we bought it. Sean told me that if anyone has a legit complaint that they could contact him directly at [protected] at ext 3031. He said if its a legit complaint he would do everything in his power to make it rite. I belive he has done good by us. thank you Sean.

I filled out the online request form for more information on Blue World Pools . I have an above ground pool, but thought I might replace it with a newer one. I asked to be contacted during the afternoon.

I felt stalked by this company. I received a call at 8:56pm, 8:59pm, 9:58am, 10:11am, 12:11am and again at 12:30am. Within a little more than a 16-hour span. I had asked to be removed from their call list, as I no longer want to do business them.

I have a complaint in which it had change financial institutions now, but the fact is that we bought a pool back 09 and was told we could not change our mind within the three days and told that we would have our house taken if we did. We were never given the actual final contract til after the pool guy installed the pool. So we could not read the fine writting to what information we had and that we even had three days. We did try to back out, but they said we couldn't do that. The price was jacked up higher then before, the pump stopped work right away as did a few other things that we never got replaced from them. It was suppose to be a show pool no one has ever looked at it. We were pressured into it and told the cheaper one was crap and we didn't even need to look at it. We were also told that the finance charges would most likely be cheaper. We were also told to say certain things on the phone at the call back call like we were coached when we were ready to buy. You would really realize it til you read other responses and realized that all the others have went through very similar experiences. We should not have to pay such an expensive price for a pool. This should not be. We were scamed. The winter cover didn't even last a winter. The bearings are gone in the pump the first winter. We can't afford to fix the pump because the payment is so high!

We called Blue World Pools for the 399.00 and we were told that the shipping alone for that pool was more then the pool it self. That is when Chris told us about all the other pools and things, we came to the price and i told him that i could not afford that. He then called the home base and a price was told to us under what the list price at 30% intrest. Once the price was given and the first set of paper work was signed, they called and was offing a 15% intrest rate but the kicker was they added 5000.00 worth of up grades to get their money back. It was to late by then to cancel the pool. I feel that is company should be shut down.For fales advertisment. I want our 1000.00 refund back and I do not wish to have a pool from this company in my yard.

You're an idiot for signing up for something at 30% interest to begin with. That's your fault that you bought something you couldn't afford. Its people like you that have garbage credit. Don't complain about a company when you made these decisions in good conscience.

Hi! I just read your review and we went through the same thing this afternoon, but luckly the guy who came out was new and after 30 min of speaking with us he called up to the main office and talked with someone. He was explaining to him how we really c areouldn't afford those outragious monthly prices. He passes the phone to me and it was on hold, the man comes back on the phone and says look man, you've only been there for 30 min you must not have done something right..keep sellinging it..im not budging on the price. I know they are a fraud, but my question is what is the quality of the $299 pool. Is it worth the $700. I mean it is a big pool and they will install it...could you e-mail me. gymnstdaph@aol.com...my name is Daphanie

My wife and I purchased a pool from blue world pools, which was a bad mistake. The installer was in a hurry to get the job done that the pool was installed in a sloppy manner. After complaints by phone and letters to the company about leaks and non stainless steel
screws that are rusting in water they sent the same installer back out to fix the problem which he said he did by putting caulking around the skimmer and replaced the screws. By the time they got to the leak sand had washed out from under the pool, they say no,
but any idiot would know with that amount of water leaking out its going to wash. Blue world wants try and take my home because I refuse to pay for a shoddy pool, I've told them to come get their junk out of my yard. I will not pay for this pool and all the dishonest
tactics that they use will only cost them. This company (Blue World Pools) is a very dishonest company with highly questionable scare tactics and motives.

I completely agree and have had a similar experience with them. I recommend to everyone that they report all the problems to the BBB. I do not know how they sleep at night with the fraudulent behavior. I also am telling evryone I know to steer very clear of this company!

Blue world pools are a great company.My family gets so much enjoyment from our pool.No more dirty lake water or find parking for the good spot.we love it.

I purchased a above ground 18 foot pool from Blue World Pools 3 years ago and have been very pleased with the purchase. I've hosted 3 4th of July parties and all my guest were very pleased with the pool. The water was and continue to stay crystal clear. The pool is easy to maintain, all I have to do is pour a gallon of bleach in the pool once a week during peak season and then a gallon once a month during off season months. No shock treatment required and other chemicals. if you're interested in buying a pool in the future, I highly recommend you to contact Blue World Pools before buying from anywhere else.

I am a very satified customer. The sales person was amazing and followed thru with everthing that was promised. The installation was great and the installer did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone..
