If all else fails... Still don't use them
The absolute worst company to ever exist. They hold funds for no reason. I'm some cases they freeze accounts without notice for no reason leaving people without funds. Done people have yet to receive their funds. Every step is a headache. Mobile deposit (which is 1-3 days at any other bank) it's 7 full days here and it won't hit the account until the end of the business day in California.. well I'm in Georgia. Which means 8pm. How can you run a business when your statements are being dropped one day, but you can't get them for 7-8 days out. Paying employees is almost impossible. Operation cost is almost impossible. Hell they declined a purchase of two dollars when there was thousands in the account. I literally had to stop working and call them over two dollars. LISTEN, DO NOT WASTE TIME, EFFORT AND RESOURCES FOOLING AROUND WITH A BUNCH OF IDIOTS. RESEARCH AND FIND A REPUTABLE BANK, OR START A TRUST AND BECOME YOUR OWN BANK.
Recommendation: RUN!!!!!!
The Average ach is 1-3 days. These people have held my funds for a full week. And they have zero resolve. They've caused me to be late on payments meaning unnecessary fees when the money should've been there. They've caused my employees to not trust the company as they also have incurred late fees. This institution has a lack luster customer support staff that can only say "there's nothing I can do about it". Others have had their accounts completely frozen, yet this company is allowed to still operate. Fraudulent banking is against the law. These people are holding funds to draw interest that the consumer does not see. I want these folks investigated and shut down.
Worst banking experience of my life!
Worst banking experience of my life! It seems like this "bank" is constantly changing rules (presumably because they've been in trouble with enforcement agencies). In my short time with this banking relationship they have canceled wires, without giving me any notice, because the description for purpose of payment was too vague ("payment of services" would have seemed like enough info for a bank to release MY funds to pay MY vendor). They changed routing numbers after getting dumped by their banking partner. And finally I got my account closed because they were missing documentation form the account setup. I imagine this was lost in the shuffle when they got fired from their original partner bank. I did not get as much as a call. Looking back the only notice I received was buried in my hundreds of banking notifications and emails on 9/30 that the account would be closed in less than two weeks if the certificate of formation was not submitted. Now they are holding my business account funds ($30K) and will not release them for weeks (hopefully I get them back without legal action). I'm glad I have a relationship with a real bank to fall back on, happy to be done with this company.

They stole our money. We received an email saying they closed our account. No reason given. We could not log on, pay any bills, use debit card ATM nothing . Then we were told they will mail a check and send it to my home in 14 days. 14 days we had nothing not a dime in any of our business funds for no reason. They used our funds for who knows what. Stolen. We yet to hear from them or get our funds back and it's a holiday. We had no way of buying fuel, parts payroll nothing. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS

BlueVine was great until they switched routing numbers. Now my checks are bouncing and they have done nothing to resolve the problem. To date, this problem has cost me well over $1000 and they refuse to admit they did anything wrong. I verified with the representative that the checking and routing # were correct and there was still no resolution. I have no choice but to switch banks and I DO NOT recommend their business.
I was using BlueVine for my startup and had a decent experience at first. Then they closed my account with out any forewarning. Lastly they still have not returned to me the funds that I had in the account. They basically stole my money without any warning. To add salt to the wound, they referenced me to Bankcorp to ask for my money, even though I don't have any access to my old account information. They swindled me!
Stay CLEAR of this company. I submitted an application online and for 2 weeks I never heard anything back. Finally, I called the 800 number and spoke with a nice lady who assured me that they received my application for a new account and they would be contacting me soon to verify I was approved for my new business account. Low and behold, I still haven't heard anything else from this company. I believe they are fraudulent and it's pretty scary that Complaintsboard.com is backing this company. After reading all the other reviews, I definitely believe we were deceived. Help, Complaintsboard.com!
The Paycheck Protection Program is a crucial lifeline for small businesses, many of whoim bank with BlueVine
The Paycheck Protection Program is a crucial lifeline for small businesses, many of whoim bank with BlueVine. As is a well established and known practice among financial service providers, when preparing electronic deposit arrangements it is common and routine practice to require that a customer provide a voided check to ensure accurate documentation of thge account and ROUTING numbers on the face of a check. For some inexplicable reason, BlueVine has THREE SEPARATE ROUTING NUMBERS, and if the most visible routing number, found on the face of thge check, is used the deposit is rejected. Thousands of automated deposits have been routinely rejected without notice or explanation by BlueVine. The internet is awash with complaints about this. While the first assumption is understandably 'No big deal, just correct it and get the deposit again' Unfortunately, the vast number of deposits and the plain, complete, and total lack of any way to contact a lender makes this impossible. Lender insists on getting a voided check which in the case of BlueVine (and only in the case of BlueVine) results in a useless routing number and the business isnt funded. A sorry result known to but entirely ignored by BlueVine.
Extremely POOR *** I needed an answer as to why the checks, supplied by Bluevine were being returned, they could not provide an answer! When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told I would be added to a "list" and provided with a call within 24 hours. All I can surmise is there must be many issues at this bank if I have to be added to a "list" to speak with a supervisor!
I so wanted BlueVine to live up to the promise of an interest paying business checking account, but my experience was terrible. I set up the account online and used the Plaid feature to link my BlueVine checking with my existing business savings. I then set up a couple of transfers to start moving money from my existing savings to my new BlueVine account. BlueVine put a stop payment on the first transfer and, after confirming the stop came from BlueVine and not my other business savings account, I spent an hour online with a BlueVine representative trying to find out why. I was told it would be investigated and to check back today. In the meantime, BlueVine put a stop payment on the 2nd transfer, and closed my BlueVine account. I'm glad I didn't get too far into using BlueVine. If they couldn't handle the basics in banking and customer service, no amount of interest paid on the checking account can make up for it. What a shame.
THIS IS NOT A REAL BANK. SCAAAM ALERT. DO NOT put your money with these guys. They are not a real bank and use other low grade banks to offer you a checking *** protection. It took their system FIVE DAYS for their so called security system to notice HUNDREDS of fraudulent charges on a stolen debit card adding up to $51K later they locked my account and will not release the rest of the balance and holding it hostage! My chase account's anti-fraud triggers after a $50 suspicious charge and these guys let $51,000.00 charges and ATM withdraws go through. Pay all the bank fees a regular bank charges and don't be fooled by their so called interest rates. I had been saving this money to start a new business and they have ruined everything. STAAAAY AWAYYYY
Company is a SCAM!
Company is a SCAM! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! I should have checked the Complaintsboard.com rating PRIOR to doing business with this company! As an independent contractor I know when reviews are PAID! The 4 star ratings are PAID! Especially when it's a long drawn out story about how great service was and provides too much detail! I opened a business bank account with this company November 15-17th and was approved! A business debit card was sent to me and everything! Haven't even used the debit card and waited 3 weeks to activate the card because I didn't plan on using it because it's mainly for payroll services! I was told ALL of my documents had been approved after review. December 22, I get an email stating my checking account was closed to suspicious activity! NO PHONE CALL, EMAIL, prior just closed the account! I call and they tell me the account was CLOSED TO DUE INFORMATION NOT BEING ABLE TO BE VERIFIED! Totally a SCAM! All of my documents are LEGIT AND LEGAL and able to be verified both with the IRS and the state! I'm glad this happened now and not later! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Yes, they all nice and cozy and REASSURING at the beginning! BUT LET ME REASSURE YOU THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! UNPROFESSIONAL! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE A START UP COMPANY!
Bluevine is the worst company to communicate with, and work with for lending. NOTICE they don't have any positive reviews because they would all be horrible. Thank goodness for third-party websites. I received PPP funding and submitted my loan forgiveness application to Bluevine to then be submitted to the Small Business Administration. Bluevine never submitted my PPP forgiveness application to the SBA after three months? They were also one of the last to even start processing PPP forgiveness applications. Still have not been able to communicate with anyone from Bluevine.
Do not get a Bluevine account, the customer service is subpar, and the company obviously doesn't care about its customers. Bluevine lost an ACH deposit of mine for over $1,300 dollars. I have talked to them, and emailed them several times for a resolution. The sending bank sent confirmation of sending the transaction, with all of the correct numbers (routing and account), but Bluevine can't find it, not even to send it back. I was told that someone would get back to me, and that was over a week ago. Their banking solutions do not make it easier for small businesses. It's a nightmare, and being a small business with a lean start-up, this multi-million dollar banking tech company can't even find time to discover what happened to a deposit, let alone just credit me the money. I wish I had seen these reviews below. Don't do it!
I applied for a Bluevine business account, I have a small business and I am a sole proprietor
I applied for a Bluevine business account, I have a small business and I am a sole proprietor. Upon registration it asked me to submit my EIN confirmation letter from the IRS (I had misplaced this letter in our move but did provide my EIN number) OR my DBA. So I sent my business license attached to my certified DBA with the state secretary seal on it. These were the original documents sent to me straight from the state. I then received a message "upload document that shows the business name & your name as an authorized member" which seemed odd to me because this was exactly what I had supplied. I then reached out to customer service and resent the documents. Instead of helping I got told that they could not accept this and I needed to send the "proper documents". I asked them what documents they needed and they said they needed the DBA. I explained that this is the DBA and resent the document. I got a cold response that they would not accept it and that I had not provided the "proper" documents so I would not get the account, despite sending them the exact document they asked for 3 times. The customer service was rude and unhelpful I would never recommend Bluevine for any small business needs. I was able to take the exact same document into my local credit union and open an account.

Terrible communication. You would think that after losing $5300 of my money bluevine would do more than send me an email saying we dont know whats going on
This company needs to be investigated by the federal government. I have a checking account for direct deposit for my business. This company has changed the routing number I can't get my money I have been waiting for the time period required I have yet to received the fund in my account. My funds have been in limbo for 7 days. The company cant track the funds that were deposited to their company. I have been a customer for 5 month's I have *** that is owed to me by this company. This is an unlawful way to handle business with customer livelihoods.
WORSE LENDING COMPANY!
WORSE LENDING COMPANY! This company is horrible. I recieved my first round of PPP funds through them but months after receiving the loan I contacted their customer service concerning PPP forgiveness. The customer service was not good, very unprofessional. So when I reviewed the company, I gave an honest review. Now second round of PPP I applied with two different lenders other than bluevine, but by the SBA having a problem with their system in it giving an error message of lots of submitted PPP, the lenders I was trying to apply with suggested that I go back to bluevine because they had all my information. So, I applied for a second round PPP with bluevine. Along with my application I submitted my 2019 tax return, just as I submitted last year when I received the first round, however, upon filing the application out I added the wrong dollar amount from my tax return. When I realized it, I tried reaching out to bluevine to ask them if I can edit it and add the correct dollar amount. They told me I couldn't edit the amount, and denied my application telling me to apply with another lender because I can't re-apply through them. Smh, this company is a joke! All because I gave my honest opinion in my review, they won't correct my application or allow me to correct it. Terrible terrible!
Blue Vine is a criminal enterprise
Blue Vine is a criminal enterprise. I been a customer of theirs for my non for profit corporation for over a year. In this past year they changed their banking affiliation and had to change checking and bankcard information for all accounts, when I did not get my business debit card I notified them. Shortly after they suspended my account asking me to verify if we are legitimate company, now mind you I been their client already and I went through the ringer to open the account a year ago, I resend the same info plus a PERSONAL UTILITY ***, they came back to me and said we can not accept the info because it does not look real and because I have a past due balance with my PERSONAL cable company they can not accept my info. WHAT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? what does my past due balance have to do with who I am? The non for profit is registered and can be checked on line, all the info I sent are copies of what I got from the ***. SO I asked them to close my account immediately and send our funds back to us, they said we are not sure when that will happen maybe in 30 days.Stay away from these god *** CRIMINALS, now they are looking to steal the balance from my none for profit.I will take them to the supreme court if I have to. trying to s*** people during the pandemic, shame on you, you are the scum of the world.

I was so disappoint with my self for applying for PPP loan through Bluevine as they waisted my time
I was so disappoint with my self for applying for PPP loan through Bluevine as they waisted my time. I had summited all the documents been asked for. last week they send me the same email asking to complete a task which is asking if I wanted to use my gross income or net income and on the three times I completed the task and it said that you already completed the task. I called for help to clarify why I keep receiving three email repeating same task . The lady checked and told me everything is completed and you don't have to do anything. Some one will contact you in case we need more info. After two days I received email it says (Based on the submitted application and supporting documentation, this application could not be approved. This was due to inadequacies in the submitted documentation and information, and our inability to verify all of that information. This decision is final, and no additional documentation can be provided to appeal or overturn the decision. This decision does not disqualify you from applying with other PPP providers, and we encourage you to do so if you are still interested in a PPP loan) very poor staff lack of organization and they don't care . I applied for the first PPP and was approved and i uploaded same documents. My advise don't try to apply through this Bluevine as you will waist your time look for more respectful and professional company
BlueVine has been nothing but an awful experience
BlueVine has been nothing but an awful experience. They put my account on hold three different times for various reseasons, which in turn not only hurt my business it hurts my employees during a pandemic. They asked me to provide additional documents, which I did however they put the accounts on hold on Fridays so they won't even look at the documents until the following week. When an account goes on hold I was unable to run payroll for my employees, unable to pay payroll state and government taxes, unable to receive business income, and unable to pay expenses. I had to contact all my business clients to resend funds for invoices since on their end it says my account is closed (on hold). 1st hold: They wanted my diver's license and utility bill, which I provided, and waited 3 days for the hold to be released. 2nd hold: I tried to connect my personal checking account to the business checking just to send some funds so business checking in BlueVine has some funds in order to run payroll. I provided the documents and they release the hold 3 days later. 3rd hold: They wanted additional documents for the personal checking to business checking. They asked for the same documents from both my 1st and 2nd hold. On top of all that there is no way to contact the underwriting team that places the hold. The support are generic agents who can't provide any additional service. I am switching banks...

I opened 2 business checking accounts with Bluevine roughly about six months ago with the sole intention of my *** funding to be deposited into
I opened 2 business checking accounts with Bluevine roughly about six months ago with the sole intention of my *** funding to be deposited into... recently I started to receive information about the bank was being acquired by new parent company and there are steps that need to be taken to ensure that I received my debit cards/checks promptly. I followed all of the instructions that were requested. Fast forward my *** deposit for my Targeted *** what's sent to Blue vine on August 16th, and I have the tracking number from the *** banking Department to confirm the transaction. Oddly enough the very next day on August 17th at 8:02 a.m. I received a very vague email indicating my account had been closed. I called customer service and was given a vague, scripted excuse that they couldn't give me any more information than what the email did. I asked for a supervisor to call me back. I did not receive a phone call, however, two hours later I received an email indicating the exact same verbiage that the customer service representative gave me. I quickly responded to ask about the *** deposit that the tracking number indicated Bluevine had received. I was told they didn't see any *** deposit to the account which I no longer have access to, to confirm this myself. Correspondence referencing the closure of the account should have been sent via email like all other requests that I received from this Bank, and I could have diverted any incoming deposits or any other transactions to another checking account.

I joined BlueVine because they seemed to have a great offer Business Checking Accounts
I joined BlueVine because they seemed to have a great offer Business Checking Accounts. However my experience with them was definitely sub-par and I would highly not recommend banking with them. All the problems seem to stem from their poor customer service. I was told I had to submit a document, so I did, and then was told my account was fine and all restrictions removed. Two weeks later I received an email stating I needed to submit a different document to accomplish the same regulation requirement. While annoyed, I sent in a document and then the next day my account was closed. Never had a chance to withdraw my funds. So I contacted them, and am told I have to wait 2 weeks for a check to be issued, and then wait another 14 business days for it to arrive. After waiting 14 days and not getting the check I'm told they don't know what happened and even after confirming the address was correct. So of course I had to contact them again and wait for another manager to finally get a second check issued which did finally arrive. Turns out, after confirming the address with 2 different people, it was still sent to the wrong address. I have requested calls back from managers on 4 occasions which would take 2-3 days to get. Spoke to at least 3 representatives that promised they would personally follow up and then never did. And still never got a clear reason as to why my documents weren't reviewed and my account improperly closed. I would avoid this company at all costs. As they say, if it looks too good to be true...

I am seriously thinking about moving banks after a year with blue one I should have read more reviews
I am seriously thinking about moving banks after a year with blue one I should have read more reviews. A few weeks back Around midnight I went to check my account and noticed right that minute a transaction of ATM withdrawal at a bank close by for $500 and $482 . I immediately locked the debit card but no one was available cause it was a Saturday. When I woke up the next morning ready to call and checking my account to get a number to call there was two more unauthorized ATM transactions for $500 and $482 . Even after locking the card after the first unauthorized ATM transactions. I went and did a police report and then called blue one they told me it could take up to 90 days for the investigation and for a decision it's possible I ain't getting my money back this is ridiculous over $1900 gone and it's FDIC insured and we have to wait like if we are the ones being investigated to make sure the dispute is valid. This was some business expenses and messed business process up and I took a loss This is a business account and they expect us to just wait 90 days.I'm hoping it doesn't happen to me cause we just had a $20,000 ACH payment and I wrote some checks for expenses for the business and I am worried about there security and there ways of resolving these issues could ruin a company. If this matter ain't resolved soon I'm pulling out of this bank and hope that others do as well and no one opens a new account they shouldn't be in the banking industry if they can't protect your money or reimburse you for unauthorized transactions.

If I could give them 0 stars I would
If I could give them 0 stars I would. This company lacks integrity and their communication is pretty much non existent. I applied for a *** loan in April and was *** approved and signed my documents May 7. After seeing they had 10 days to disburse the funds I called on May 17 to find out if there were any issues. They told me they were behind in processing and my funds would be disbursed. I must have called them 20 times over a month and a half. I then received an email with the following message: ***, Thank you for reaching out today. A review has determined that your *** loan was not properly obtained and as such we will not be advancing the funds. This is all of the information that we are able to provide.BlueVine (***)I called them to find out what the issue was and they were unwilling to give me any information. In speaking with the representative I said something which must have correlated with their reasoning for not disbursing the loan and she asked me to send in more documentation for further review. I did this and called 2 weeks later for an update. There was none. They told me it was still under review. Fast forward to today. I call for an update only to be told the time had run out for the funds to be disbured. This is ridiculous. I feel as though I have been scammed by these people and I'm left out in the cold. There have been so many people who have obtained *** funds fraudulently and then the people who work hard to provide for their family are done this way. This is unacceptable. They did not communicate with me during this process and now I am left struggling. If you are smart you would run far and fast from them. I would never allow these people to have anything to do with my business in any form."

Hoping to simplify banking for my small business (just me!
Hoping to simplify banking for my small business (just me!) I opened a BlueVine account 9 months ago. Things went well for a bit aside from astronomical waits for help on the 800 number. In June I got a notice that a check was returned for insufficient funds. I knew this couldnt be the case and when I contacted BlueVine they told me this alert went out by mistake. Hmmm. That seems like a big mistake for a bank to make. Fast forward a few weeks when I tried to open the *** app to deposit some checks. I got an error that my account was on hold. No email, no attempt to alert me of this on s end. I reached out and was told they needed a utility *** w business address and my EIN form (not just the number, the whole letter). I sent these in, received an email back from a rep saying she had received it and would update account (about 24 hours). Fast forward 5 days and I still couldnt login. I replied to the email from rep acknowledging receipt of info and someone else replied saying they needed the same information. I have replied and said that the info was sent and received, and still no word back 40 hours later and I cannot access my account at all. Im a solo entrepreneur and this has debilitated my ability to do business, pay tradespeople, pay MYSELF and my credit cards, cash checks or do anything with my finances. The fact they didnt have a proactive approach to telling me that my account was on hold, what I needed to do, and that it is now 6 days later and I still dont have access to my funds has me running towards the hills. BlueVine sounds good up front, but *** they are burning me so badly right now. If you are wooed by the 1% interest, dont be. Ive burned through whatever 1% payments I received in tapping into my personal account (thankfully w another bank) and hurting the trust between myself and tradespeople.
WORST experience ever with an online bank
WORST experience ever with an online bank. I am a small online business and decided to go with them because they were targeting small businesses and spoke highly of their customer service which is NONEXISTENT! I was hung up on 3 times from their customer service, got put on a "call back list" so I could speak with a supervisor with no one calling me back, and then they repeatedly left me on hold for over 20min every time just to come back on the line and say they couldn't fix THEIR mistake and I would have to reapply. They started sending me emails that my account was going to close because they didn't have my business address...to which THEY DID. Something in their system triggered them that they needed a brick and mortar address even though they had my own home address where I operate my SOLEY online business from. I emailed back multiple times before they closed it and was reassured they had all of my information until one day I got an email my account had been closed. MY BUSINESS ACCOUNT where all of my revenue from my customers was going to...completely closed and they were "sending me a check" in the mail. Once I called them and actually got someone on the line, I got hung up on 3 times while on hold, no one could tell me why it was closed other than that it was a mistake. NONE of the customer service reps would allow me to speak to a manager, each time I got put on hold and they would tell me there isn't one available or hand up on me while being on hold and I would have to call back and start all over again. WORST experience with a bank I've ever had. No, I have to rework all of my accounting, open a new bank and wait for a check for a few thousand dollars "in the mail" to which the mail can take up to 60 DAYS to receive I was told! I cannot warn you enough, the ease of an online account is not worth having to deal with this company. Go with Kabbage or some other online bank or go with a brick and mortar. Seriously, save yourself the trouble of dealing with amateurs.
Bluevine will take back your line of credit and still report that you have it on your credit report, making it impossible to get financing
Bluevine will take back your line of credit and still report that you have it on your credit report, making it impossible to get financing anywhere else. I was approved for a $55k line of credit in September to expand my business. I drew $5k from it initially with no problem. In the following months I had constant communication with Bluevine staff and was made aware of many offers to draw more funds at a reduced fee. I did not need to draw more funds until January. At that time I requested to draw $40k to continue with my project. The next day I received communication that my draw was denied because Bluevine does not do lend to my industry. My industry has been the same from the time I was approved for the line of credit and took my first draw until I requested an additional draw. The only explanation anyone could provide to me was that the initial process is automated and I must have "slipped through". I was told that my account was not reviewed by underwriters until I requested the initial funds. No one was able to provide a solution for me, I was essentially told "tough luck". I did not have time to dedicate to going back and forth with them, as I am now actively involved in a construction project at my business. I had to focus my time on getting financing elesewhere to stay on schedule with my project (which I would not have undertaken had I not been given a $55k line of credit). I applied for financing with two other companies and they both told me the same thing: they could not offer me financing becuase my credit report indicates that I currently have a $55k line of credid with Bluevine. This evening I called Bluevine and soke with Ngoc and asked if the remaining $50k that I was told I cannot use be removed from my credit so I can have access to other options. I was told that that although I cannot use those funds it will still show up on my credit report unitl the rest of the initial $5k draw is paid off. The only way my credit report can be adjusted is to pay off the remaining $3200 balance at one time, as opposed to continuing to make the monthly payments on it as the contract specified. I explained the harm that has come from being approved for a line of credit and then having it taken away. All I was told was that this is their policy to do periodic reviews. My question was, why was my application and my business not thoroughly reviewed prior to being approved. I did not receive an answer to that, just a general apology for the inconvenience which is not sufficient at this point. This feels like a compete sabotage. I am being told that I cannot access the funds that I was initially approved for yet they are still going to show up on my credit report rendering it impossible for me to get funds from any other lender. I absolutely do not recommend using Bluevine. They show no desire to work with you when they (or their "automation", as I keep being told) make a mistake. They adviertise that they are out to help small businesses but their actions are actually proving to be crippling to this small business.

My account was abruptly closed in mid-2021 without prior notice
My account was abruptly closed in mid-2021 without prior notice. About half of the funds were earnings from customer payments, and another portion of the funds remaining at the time the account was suspended (later closed) were from a business loan. I have not received the funds back, though I was assured that I would receive a check within 14 business days. It's October. I need immediate access to my statements so that my CPA can properly submit my Q2 reports and work with the bank and/or lender to determine next steps. I need to know where the funds reside as the window for loan spending for my particular loan has now closed. I cannot apply for forgiveness for the entire loan because the funds weren't all used on payroll - they are either in this closed Bluevine account, or a temporary holding account. Bluevine changed from Bancorp to another bank during this time, adding to my concern. The bank is allowing me additional time to gather the information I need to report how the funds were spent, and to use the funds to reimburse myself for payroll. This is likely a 2-3 week grace period. I understand that a lot of accounts were under investigation during this past period. As directed by my CPA, we reached out to law enforcement, FDIC, the bank, and my business loan lender and they all confirmed I am not under investigation. Each of them noted that if Bluevine did conduct an internal investigation, it should be complete by this point. I need to know where my assets are so that I can either receive them back and reimburse payroll as planned, or pay the bank directly and apply for forgiveness for what was spent on payroll prior to closure. Beyond those funds, I not only need, but am entitled to my assets not related to the business loan deposit. Bluevine can also transfer the connected business Wells Fargo account or personal Wells Fargo account that was on file. I sent along customer service logs and call notes showing where they said I'd have a check within 14 days (and just documenting my follow-up) to "[protected]@", and I sent multiple emails with three forms of ID (including SS card, DL, Passport), active business license for this year, my bank verification letter, and proof that I am an owner on the Wells Fargo accounts (personal and business) that were connected to my Bluevine account. It's imperative that I have my assets back and that I can properly reconcile my accounts, particularly the loan amounts that are outstanding and unspent. Just an FYI to anyone else reading this, there is a formal claims process. I am coming here to ensure others are aware of not only the inconveniences of sudden account closures, but as we approach the end of the loan spending windows, the legal, financial, and tax-reporting implications. I haven't seen other complaints reference this, and it's actually the biggest issue here. I was named the custodian of these loan funds and responsible for using and reporting them in a specific way, and my responsibility doesn't magically disappear when a bank closes an account. Beyond that, I really need my statements so that my CPA can complete my entire quarterly report, including non-loan funds in my account at the time of closure.

fraud
I had 3 fraud charges hit my busienss account. The 1st one was stopped. The 2nd and 3rd were from the same company and went into pending. I called the bank and told them to stop those charges. They would not. I cancelled the debit card and reported it stolen to stop the charges. The charges were reduced by the scammers and then were posted. Now the bank says I have to wait up to 90 days. This is after I told them to stop charges before they were posted in the 1st place. Now the management doesn't call back.
Claimed loss: $973.42 and $641.91
Desired outcome: Do the right thing and give me my money back. I told you it was a scam. You posted the charges after we talked.

There are multiple issues I'd like to address regarding the practices of this business that has negatively impacted me and my business with this institution. First, we've been paying for "Same Day" Wire Fees for quite a few transactions at $15 each for payroll as it is more convenient for us; however my employees have not been getting their pay consistently as quoted by their policy. The BlueVine Policy reads that "All Wires Submitted by 4PM EST will be processed same day" which has not always been the case. Sometimes the wires come in the morning of or evening not he same day; however recently they have been delayed by 1 to 2 days making it cost me and my business more money. Secondly, there is an egregious policy for holds on hotel stays and car rentals up to 60 days that is not mandated by the hotel or car rentals themselves; however BlueVine chooses to hold these pending charges that are placed on the account longer even after it is released currently at $1,328.38
I needed a bank to deposit a settlement check in and used BlueVine. After researching that they are a green dot payment processor I tried to get my funds out of that bank quick. Out of *** dollars I sent to my personal bank 50 first then slowly tried to send the rest. Few days later while I was waiting for my debit card I got an alert that said they was closing account. While I was able to still log on I noticed someone had activated that debit card which was still in the mail. All of my transfers were canceled except for that 50 dollars. And Im now broke down with no vehicle, no food or any place to stay. I didnt do anything to deserve it. If you move your money out and they find out they lock your funds up right away. Cant even use that 50 dollars as its still transferring 7 days still.
I had applied for a business loan with Bluevine Capital, and although I was approved, I decided not to proceed with the funds and walked away from the loan. Unbeknownst to me, Bluevine Capital filed a claim against my business. As a result, we have been inundated with loan solicitations. During one conversation, I was assured, "Yes, no problem, I see that you never closed on the loan. We will have the claim released." Unfortunately, that did not happen. Instead, Bluevine Capital sent me a release form to sign in order for them to proceed with the claim release.
We have made numerous attempts to contact them via phone and email, most recently on March 1, 2022, when I spoke with a courteous woman. She mentioned that "underwriting needs to review this and we will get back to you today." As I'm filing this complaint, you can probably guess the outcome. They never returned my call. I urgently need the claim released. Thank you.
they closed down my account and they are not refunding me my money
I have a business checking and savings account with BlueVine for my LLC. I have received payment from a customer for $26,400 for services I provided, which is the amount I regularly receive from that customer. The customer has shifted to paying me by check. BlueVine has placed a $20,000 mobile deposit limit per month on my account. So, I cannot deposit the payment from my customer. They offer no other alternative way for me to deposit my account. They have no branches and no way for me to mail them the check. So, I have no way to get cash my check. This is the only business checking account I have so there is no way for me to deposit my money. I need to be able to deposit my money in my bank account. It's frankly ridiculous.
I had a business checking account with Bluevine for a few months and they closed the account with no warning
I had a business checking account with Bluevine for a few months and they closed the account with no warning. They had sent me a questionnaire about my business and I answered all the questions. There was nothing out of the ordinary about the business, nothing illegal. I asked why the account was closed and they will not give me a reason other than it is confidential and I did not meet something in their guidelines. I travel and do trade shows throughout the USA and have a merchant account for credit card sales. These sales go into my business account with Bluevine. Now my merchant account has nowhere to deposit my funds and I don't have access to the money I still had in my account. I am over *** miles away from my home and office and do not have all the necessary info to open another business account while on the road. I cannot get money from merchant account (approx $17,000) without a business account and have no money. Bluevine left me "high and dry" for no reason.

I applied for a bluevine account today on February 15,2022 I was given a hard time applying and getting approved and a representative told me I can change my name but then told me to call first after a while I didnt get the messages until after I changed my name already I tried calling and get it resolved and asked if I can just change it back to my regular name they closed my account
I was scammed by a contractor and disputed the amount on my card. I have had serial attempts in disputing bluevine insist on denying all my disputes with adequate and properly disputing the charges with the merchant. After almost a year of attempting to re appeal the disputes bluevine them closed my account now I have no access to statements documents and receive littlento no communication. I am constantly being told my dispute is being exculated and I am seeing no movement. After looking at my account on PayPal Bluevine is attempting 3 disputes when I had about 25 or so. Bluevine is not communicating or doing anything to resolve all of the disputes not just 3!
I typically receive direct deposits into my personal account but when I opened up a BlueVine business account Ive switched my direct deposit information to Bluevine altogether I was supposed to receive my paycheck on Friday, February 18th 2022 and today is Wednesday, February 23, 2022 and I still have not received a direct deposit my employer has already shown that the money was sent to the bank account number and routing number for *** been getting the runaround Ive called multiple times and Bluevine representatives are stating that they do not even see any type of incoming transaction for my funds on the website it states that ACH Transfers typically post the same day at most 24 hours we are on the third business day and still no information on my funds I feel like Im getting scammed and this is putting me in financial distress
Okay so I open business checking account with BlueVine over three weeks ago. I then used their mobile deposit feature to deposit a check from a would be investor. The check cleared and was available in my account. The next day a hold was placed on my account and I was informed that I needed to verify information. The information requested was immediately uploaded to my account for review. One day later I called customer service to check the status of my account and I was informed that my account was closed and that no further information was available about my account. After servers attempts to contact them via phone and email I am still being told no information is available. I had $22,022 dollars available in this account and I need to know what is going to happen with this money and how I can retrieve my money from this bank in a very timely fashion. This is no small amount and my transportation business very much so depends on this money for operation

On April 02 BlueVine bank closed our business checking account because we put P.O.Box address instead of our office address. BlueVine sent us email on April 02 to informed us that our bank account is closed and a check of remaining balance will be mail to us after 14 days.As we didn't receive any check from BlueVine, we tried to connect them several times through email and phone, their answer always "We will issue a new check for and you should receive the check within the next 7 days.We have been 6 months asking them to refund our balance ( more than $26,000 ) and we got nothing from them more then lies and fake promises. We did some online research and we found out that many businesses has similar problem with BlueVine, once the account got closed the bank will not refund the remanning balance to the account owner. We are seeking a lawyer and we will try to connect the media very soon, hope Complaintsboard.com can help us and help other People/ Business who has same problem.

I opened a business checking account with BlueVine in September. Ive never had any issues with them (e.g. no overdrawn account, problematic checks or transfers, etc). Today, without warning, BlueVine closed my account. While this is frustrating, its their prerogative. What I have an issue with, however, is my inability to withdraw, transfer, or otherwise access my funds. I have payments due starting the 2nd of January; I have a perfect payment history with all my vendors and I should not have to have that ruined because BlueVine arbitrarily decided to close my account.
Summary: BlueVine approved and opened a checking account for my business, DreamLandBuying LLC. They accepted a $30,000 ACH transfer into my account on December 15th. BlueVine closed my account on December 28. When I called support, they indicated they could give me not information as to why my account was closed, and indicated the account was "closed without refund". Resolution Sought: I want the funds I deposited into this account returned to me. I can no longer access my account to see my balance, but the remaining funds I had in my account is very close to $30,000.
On 1/2/22 at 6:11 in the morning I received and email stating my checking account had been placed on hold and i was locked out of it do to a security issue. I called them first thing monday morning was advised it was a software issue and they would get the problem rectified. 4 phone calls later still do not have access to my account and $9605.44 in it.
BlueVine out of nowhere shut down my account . I was provided no explanation as to why they were doing this . They would not let me have access to my funds until I threatened legal action against them. They left me without any food or gas money and delayed my check by sending it over the holidays .I also had to incur fees to cash THEIR check that was MY money.Theyve cost me time, money and heartache The Havic theyve wreaked over my life is insane. This company is a scam operation .Theyve done this before Im Not the first one.Dozens of other complaints on here gave THE SAME story .SHAME

Greetings,I require your assistance. My business bank account was closed without notice. My funds are now being held captive for 14 days. This happened after chatting with support about moving my account elsewhere. Look up ticket #***. The next day my account was closed with an email saying the following ***,After an internal review of your account, BlueVine has decided to close your Business Checking account. Please note that many factors impact our decision-making process and we are unable to re-open your account. A check for the account balance at the time of closure will be mailed to your personal address after 14 business days.Thank you BlueVine *** Again, Look up ticket #***. The customer rep never said my account would be closed and even told me to reach out if I needed help transferring out my founds. I have a complaint against the deceptive and egregious practices of BlueVine Business Banking for holds on Travel Related temporary holds for Lodging, Car Rentals, *** financial institution had no clear policy listed and it's extremely egregious compared to other institutions like them. They have a 60 Day hold and even though the merchant themselves release funds in 5-7 business days, they hold it for their old personal interest. These amounts are significant and it prevents me and my business from having liquidity. They currently have $460 on hold since the beginning of October and there was one held back in August for 60 days for over $1,040.
I had a business checking account with BlueVine and all was going well until I received an email that my account would be closed unless I provided documentation of my LLC. I immediately reached out to BlueVine via phone and multiple emails attempting to rectify the situation. However, I never received a response. I called again and spoke to a representative that closed my account for no reason, with funds in it. Ive called several times and a manger is never available, they dont call back and email requests are closed without being resolved. To date, Ive called nearly daily to recoup my funds but nothing. BlueVine outright stole my money.
I logged into my account to order new checks, they informed me I had already received my free checks and would have to pay for more from a 3rd party- no problem. They decided to void all my previous checks without notifying me in any manner whatsoever. After calling them they told me they cancelled all my checks because I wanted more checks, they did not offer a explanation as why this was done. The only reason I found out about their decision to cancel all my checks was because people I was writing checks to were getting them returned.
BlueVine closed my account and have not returned the balance in my account. I received an email stating that I would received the balance within 14 days. It has been 46 days since the account was closed. I still haven't received my funds. The solution is simple. They are well beyond the the time they stated it would take and they need to release my funds immediately. I am filing complaints with all agencies who can assist with the matter because BlueVine is not budging and I'm not going to back of. It's a shame that a financial institution would do this to a consumer. It should be illegal.
I opened a business checking account with bluevine early 2021
I opened a business checking account with bluevine early 2021. I was a little skeptical about using an online business account for my business. However my checks did clear without any issues. I tried to use my card on August 27 and it declined. On the August 28th while checking my emails I realized Bluevine had sent me an email on August 27th notifying me of the closure of my account without reason, and informing me I would get a check mailed to me within 14 businesses days with my balance. At the time of closure I had over $5k in my account. Initially when I first called them on September 21st I was told the check had been sent, and it might just be a mail delay and should look out for it by Friday September 24th. Fast forward to September 29th when I called to let them know I hadn't received the check, I was told the check wasn't sent out after all, and I should wait 24hours and I will get a call. Off course that never happened. I want my money from this thieves, without hassle.

Since opening an account with BlueVine early this year, I have had multiple issues, but this final problem has been handled extremely poorly on their end. My account was closed in the beginning of June. I received no email or phone call explaining why, just a 2 sentence email stating my account is closed. I have called representatives day after day trying to get an explanation as to why my account was closed, and none of them have access to any of that information. Each rep told me that an escalator or manager will contact me. I have yet to receive a call after waiting 16 business days. Its has been close to a month, and I have had no contact with anyone that can help me. I just want my remaining balance from my account to be mailed via check or deposited to my new account. BlueVine's customer service needs much work. If their reps are promising callbacks, and management does not follow up, it puts BlueVine's employees that really do care in a compromising position. Not good business.

On September 12, I deposited a check for $2559.38
On September 12, I deposited a check for $2559.38. The transaction went fine and everything was processed successfully, until nearly two weeks later on September 23 when BlueVine pulled the check back out of my account. They said in an email they would be providing a physical replacement of the check for me to use in the same way as the original (see Picture4). However the check never came and I still don't have the money returned to my account. I have gone back and forth with BlueVine ad nauseum with no results. I even went directly to the issuer of the check to see if they can do anything, but they can't. Verifying from their end, the issuer of the check said that BlueVine cashed the check twice and so they (the issuer) rejected the second transaction (see BlueVine picture). When BlueVine saw this, they must have gotten confused and charged it back from me. However BlueVine still has the money from this check as the first cashing was not returned, thus I want my money returned back

In Dec. 2020 I noticed a fraudulent charge on my Bluevine online Business checking account from MERCH BANKCARD BILLNG, which provided no account info nor any service info nor contact info. It was an ACH charge so I contacted Bluevine as soon as possible to dispute the charge; it slowly took Bluevine over 3 months to resolve this dispute and returned the money with a credit. I specifically asked their representative how I may prevent this fraudulent charge from happening again: whether I could have my account number changed; the reply I got from *** rep was that I cannot have my account number changed. They failed to inform me of alternative methods of preventing the same fraudulent charge, and Bluevine did NOT do anything further to help implement any prevention despite my questions and worries. So when in April, May and June I got similar charges each month I disputed them again; but Bluevine refused to refund those 3, & cannot prove those are my authorized ACH charges.

In Aug 2020, my business partner and I started a food supply business in HI and TX
In Aug 2020, my business partner and I launched a small food supply business in HI and TX. I manage the HI branch, while my cousin oversees the TX branch. We each opened a small business account with Bluevine bank for our respective branches without any issues. Our businesses began with making and receiving small deposits, and we encountered no problems with our accounts. However, when our account balances reached $18,626.42 and $14,858.51, we both got an email from Bluevine on Feb. 25 regarding the suspension of the accounts. Since Feb 2021 until now, Sep. 2021, I have been trying to contact Bluevine to retrieve our funds but have not received any clear guidance on how to proceed. This freeze has severely impacted our businesses, leading to debt and issues with our customers. Enclosed are the email correspondences with Bluevine.

I opened this account several months ago
I opened this account several months ago. I mobile deposited a check for $17100. BlueVine bank sent an email saying they could not process my check. I called and the customer service agent said resubmit the check through the mobile app. I submitted it again. Then I got an email saying they have decided to closed my account. I called BlueVine after depositing my check at my local bank and they returned the check because it had already been processed. I called BlueVine and rude unprofessional customer service rep acted like this is a standard process was not shocked or helpful in finding out where my money was. I asked how do you closed my account and keep my money? She was rude and constantly talking over me. This company need to refund my money in full immediately. I am still amazed and disgusted with this bank. Close and account but keep the customers money. Where do they expect the money to go if they close the account. I want my money. No reason to close my account and absolutely no reason to keep my funds. Refund my money. No excuses and no more bs. I do no not want to bank here and I want my money.

This bank did not allow me to download any of my transactions in the format I needed and so I called them to try and get a solution for that. Because they were "not able" to allow me to download transactions in any format other than .PDF (which can't be imported into my bookkeeping system), I asked if they could close the account. They said they could and asked if I wanted it to be closed, and I said yes. I did not realize this would happen instantly with no opportunity to receive the balance in my account in any specific way or download statements that I do not have any other copies of. I asked the agent to please reopen the account as I did not realize that it would be so instant and that I would completely and immediately lose access to all of my banking information. I will not be able to file my taxes or do any sort of reporting for my business without this information and I received no warning that I would not get these documents. This feels a lot like fraud and I am not confident that I will get the money that was in my account. I currently have no access to it, nor any way to prove that it is coming to me.

Like many others, I realized Blue Vine bank was a scam too late
Like many others, I realized Blue Vine bank was a scam too late. They sent me notices late spring that I needed to submit documentation from my business for my business checking. I submitted the documentation no less than three times. I kept thinking the issue was resolved then I received an email that they would close my account if I didn't submit the documents and this time they locked my account. This meant I couldn't transfer my money to another account and move on or do anything at all. At this point, I realized this was a scam and they were stealing people's money. Still, for the fifth time, I submitted the documents. A few weeks later, once I did research and noted the scam, I attempted to transfer my funds out so that I would not lose my money and be told it was being sent at a check that I would never see. However, once Blue Vine saw the attempt to transfer the funds, they blocked it and actually closed my account. This now means I can't even access the account number or anything. And, it doesn't even seem I will receive my funds because I did not get a chance to update the address on file after moving in the midst of all of this. This is despicable. I have never had a bank steal from me in this way.

I opened a BlueVine business checking account March 7th, 2022
I opened a BlueVine business checking account March 7th, 2022. I setup my Chase external account to deposit funds into the BlueVine account. On 4/1/2022, I scheduled a deposit from Chase to BlueVine for $1000 and the funds would be available 4/6/2022. BlueVine Capital's checks repeatedly bounced due to routing issues.
BlueVine Capital's reliability is in question as their checks have bounced multiple times due to routing number problems. Between March and July , I faced several instances of bounced checks while paying vendors, despite having sufficient funds. After the initial issues, I was assured by a company representative that the matter would be resolved and that I would be reimbursed for any fees incurred. However, the replacement checks provided also failed. On October 6th, another check bounced, leading to a late fee and my landlord refusing further checks from BlueVine. Despite repeated attempts to contact the representative and resolve the issue, I have been met with silence for over 20 days. My requests for reimbursement of the bounced check fees have been ignored, and I am considering filing a formal complaint against their business practices.

To whomever it may concern, I would like to fully outline my issue so that you could help me reach a solution to my problem. On February 3rd at 12:57 AM, I was approved for a checking account, 26 minutes later at 1:23 AM, I submitted a check deposit and was told that I would have to wait until Monday, February 7th at 7:00 PM. At 7:04 PM I received an email letting me know that my funds are available. 17 minutes later at 7:21 PM I sent a wire to myself. This morning at 11:47 AM, I received an email saying that my payment was canceled. 6 minutes later at 11:53, I received an email saying that 'After an internal review, BlueVine has decided to close your Business Checking account...'. If I'm being ***, I truly don't mind not being able to have the account, but all I'm asking is not to make me wait 14 days for no apparent reason. Then AFTER those 14 days elapse, send a check to my house, for which I'm going to have wait *** MORE days for it to come. The recent business account I had was closed and I had to wait for them to send a check. Which coincidentally happens to be the same check I deposited into my account with BlueVine. I refuse to wait for another check just to redeposit it and go through the same cycle. Just use the Wire details under my name to send a wire for what's left in the account. That's all. Please do not make me wait 24 days for another check. Just send the wire to *** fargo account on file. Please.

I am a customer at a financial institution
I am a customer at a financial institution. I tried to transfer funds to my Bluevine account on 9/27. The amount transferred from my Relay account to my BlueVine account was $1200.00. The money never showed up in my Bluevine account. I have tried to resolve this issue with Bluevine and Relay and Bluevine is telling me they will follow up and then doesn't follow up. I've only received one email from them after calling multiple times over the course of a month. I'm copying all the transaction info from correspondence with the financial institution. Hi, Thanks for following up and providing this information. Unfortunately, our provider has still not received an update/response concerning the funds sent earlier this month. In response to your latest message from BlueVine support; kindly know that the transaction type in question (regarding the $1200.00), is an ACH transfer and not a wire. Thus, there is no wire number to provide. To present more information on the ACH transfer for $1200.00, sent on September 27th: Transaction Type: ACH transfer Amount: $1200.00 Date of settlement from Relay: September 28th. We wholeheartedly understand that this situation is not enjoyable in the least, so we very much appreciate you working through this with us. Please let us know if BlueVine support requires any other information, and we'll be happy to assist. Bluevine has not responded to this email though I sent it to them. They still have my money.

I went through two different verifications of my account with Bluevine last week, leading up to a failed transaction initiated for funds from an EIDL loan that I've been working on securing for more than a year. Both verifications resulted in Bluevine confirming my account and stating the deposit would occur without issue. However, this is not what happened. The deposit was initiated on Friday, Bluevine received and accepted it on my behalf on Monday, and by late Monday afternoon had abruptly closed my account. I spent three hours trying to talk to someone who could help and was told I'd hear from someone the next day. That never happened. After calling three times yesterday, I was told after the last call someone would be calling me in a few minutes. That call never came. Instead, I received another generic email informing me my account was closed and the funds were being returned. These funds being sent back will cause a multitude of lengthy issues, and I fully expressed that. What's happening is gross. The fact that not one person within this company is willing to work with me to find a decent resolution is truly disturbing and speaks volumes. After a little research, it became clear any decent financial institution at least gives the customer the option to have funds transferred elsewhere or the option of having a check sent. Knowing Bluevine ACCEPTED this transaction and would now rather send it back instead of trying to find a better resolution for someone gives a really bad look, especially considering I have black and white email correspondence showing that this transaction was verified beforehand by Bluevine.
