On Wednesday last week we went to Bob Evans at about 1:45 pm. We were celebrating my husband's being cancer free. We were so happy, when we got there the lot was almost empty but there was a couple going in, so we followed. When we got in the couple was seated. We had to wait about 10 minutes. They finally seated us and took our drink order. The waitress by passed us two or three times. She talked to the people behind us and stayed at the booth across from us talking about her family. She we left after 15 minutes. I told my daughter who told me to report it to the manager. I did, but he told me that it had to be a mistake. I think after 70 years I know when I'm being discriminated against. The lady at the counter when we were leaving just held her head down. We loved going there after my husband would have his cancer treatments it made his day, and this happened. This Happened in Cincinnati, OH on August the ninth 2023. I hope that it doesn't happen again because it would not be pleasant.
Desired outcome: The manager knew who that waitress was and didn't want to do anything. She should be fired. The next person of color won't be so nice.
we have ordered thanksgiving dinner for 3 years, this year we ordered 3 weeks before thanksgiving. we went to pick it up and they said they did'nt have the peanut butter pie we ordered extra. we took the order home and were missing a apple pie and 2 orders of mac and cheese. we went back to the store and was told that the lady i was talking packed the box and called us a liar because she knew everything was there. she replaced the pie and corn and told us to leave that she had nothing else to do for us. she threw her hands in the air and told us to go. we have been a customer of yours for 20 years. we did not deserve to be treated like that when 8 0ther customers witness the abuse. this store was located in the villages fl. on 466a.
