Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my serious concern regarding a significant design flaw in the Honda ADV160 motorcycle that I recently purchased. Specifically, the lack of an engine cut-off warning system poses a serious risk of battery drain and potential damage to the motorcycle.
In my experience, there is no signal or alarm to indicate that the engine has not been properly switched off. This oversight can easily lead to unintentional battery drain, particularly for riders who may momentarily forget to turn off the ignition.
This lack of a basic safety feature is unacceptable in a modern motorcycle and presents a significant inconvenience and potential for damage to the vehicle.
I urge Honda to address this issue promptly. I recommend the following:
* Implement an engine cut-off warning system: This could include a visual indicator (e.g., a warning light on the instrument cluster), an audible alarm, or a combination of both.
* Issue a recall or service bulletin: To address this issue for existing ADV160 owners.
I believe this issue needs to be addressed to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all ADV160 owners. I trust that Honda will take the necessary steps to rectify this design flaw.
Sincerely,
Ng Eng Lai
