unwanted emails
I am not complaining because I have been ripped off. Luckily it hasn't gotten that far. I am just tired of receiving constant emails from them. I have repeatedly clicked on the unsubscribe link in the emails, and even contacted them via the customer service form on their website several times. I continue to get unsolicited emails every single day. Yes this is a petty complaint, but it goes to show just how little they value people and will do everything they can to get a sale.
book sent to my home without me ordering it
My account #6804645 did not order any books from bottom line books. I am a senior citizen on a very limited income the last thing i would do is order a book i would not have any use for there is no # listed so i could make sure they dont send things to my home i cannot afford. I also dont need to get to a post office and pay to return the book.
already posted comment. cannot understand why it keeps asking me for a comment
would like to see this problem resolved.
book received not ordered
The estate of Mary Lane received book "BL Health Breakthroughs 2017" shipped 10/23/2016 and billed to account [protected]. Book was opened by an assistant and box was disposed of. The estate will not pay for unordered material, she died 1 Sept. 2016. As executor I wish to return the book and to not receive any additional correspondence from Bottom Line.
unauthorized books delivered and billed to my address
bottomlinbooks keep sending me unauthorized / unordered books and then billing me for them with threats of legal action for nonpayment. I return these books but they keep coming. Please help me stop this scam. Is there any legal action I can take to stop this scam? do I have to keep sending these unauthorized books back which costs me time and money, I have to drive to a post office to return them the postman will not take them back. I am a 76 year old single person and this has gotten costly and a burden on me. Thank You, Joseph W Gaston
unsolicited book
I wrote this once, and it disappeared. I received a book from you that I have not ordered. I don't know what it is. today is November 7, 2016. The account number that it is billed to is [protected]. I have left this unopened, and plan on sending it back to you sight unseen unless I hear from you as to what the contents are. I believe this to be an unsolicited book. I would call this a very back business practice. my e-mail is: [protected]@comcast.net. my cell phone is [protected]
received book from them bottom line book"yearbook2017"
I received this book on 11/03/16 unwanted & unsolicited! I have no idea if they charged a credit account or my bank without my consent, since there wasn't any bill or charge statement from any of my accounts.
I'll keep you informed if any charges show up later either as a bill or on one of my accounts!
Well I feel my bottom line in the sand has been crossed! How dare these People steal their way into our pocketbooks! Sending unwanted product as if you wanted it! I am disabled ! I have no time or money to deal with this mugging! I do admit I ordered the 2016 yearbook! But I have never read it or opened it! Now why would I request another uninteresting book from this company?! Signing off as disgusted with their gall to blatantly steal from people of limited means!
Same thing just happened to me! I am not going to take it. I also ordered the 2016 book I got it and also never read it. Now they sent me the 2017 copy of the same title. I know for a fact I did not order it and I have no intention of paying for it. I am going to call them Monday [protected] as I was told their customer service is closed at this minute. They want it back they can have it but I am going to tell them they must send me a paid shipping label because I never ordered it. I am totally with you I did not use the first one why would I order an updated one. I have dealt with this company in the past with other books and I do not anticipate a problem getting this sorted out. I will find out Monday when I call them again.
books received that I didn't order.
I keep receiving books that I don't order. I have returned them with a note not to send me any more, and to take me off of their mailing list, but to no avail. I received another one yesterday. I am going to " Return to Sender" but don't know how to stop further shipments. Can't find a phone number for them anywhere. Is there any way for me to find a number to call them, or to get them to stop further shipments? This is s real hassle havinf to make a trip to the post office every time I receive a book I didn't want in the first place. Thank you. TL Renz
A drop shipment of a book I didn't order. Refused delivery and returned to company
On October 31, 2016 I received a book from Bottom Line Books that I hadn't ordered. Immediately returned book to return book address that was on package through the USPS. Don't even know the books title because I didn't open the package to check it out. My next move is to contact the Consumer Protection Division, Attorney General Office, State of Arkansas to register a complaint against this company.
books not ordered.
I received an order from Bottom line books co. Which I did not order. The bill says that I owe $44.95 there is no telephone number that I can reach them at to dispute this . If I don't get some answers and some satisfaction I will contact the Better Business bureau immediately.
How many times do I have to explain this matter I have already did so two times. You keep telling me to tell my problem what is the problem. I don!t get this .
I want this issue solved. The above information is all written down with a full explanation. Please resolve this matter
I found a phone number [protected], but they are closed on the weekends.
unsolicited books and material
We continue to receive bills from Bottom Line Books for things we did not order or subscribe to. Three weeks ago we received a package from them and returned it unopened marked "REFUSED - RETURN TO SENDER". Also within the last few days we received BOTTOM LINE Health "SPECIAL INVESTIGATIVE ISSUE - WINTER 2016" with a red banner and yellow letters "WE WANT YOU BACK!". This is printed on the front and the back We have no intention of subscribing to anything from Bottom Line and just want them to quit sending unrequested things and bills. If they ever served a good purpose, it appears they do not now and are only in business to scam the older generation. I am 78 years old and my wife is 75 years old. Please help us put an end to this harassment as we will no longer be pressured into paying money we do not owe just to get them "off our backs".
I have purchased several books from Bottom Line Books in the past.
I received a 2016 Bottom Line Yearbook recently that I did not order.
I returned the book, unopened, saying that I did not order this book and to give me a credit.
I also called their customer service and told her that I returned the book, did not order, and would she please give me credit. She said o.k., but the credit has not been applied to my credit card. So far it's been about four months now. I tried to contact their customer service email, and, to my surprise, it closed down my internet service. I repeated doing this because I couldn, t understand how this could happen. But in between trying to contavt their customer service, I got online for three diferent accounts with no problem. Went back to their website again, and again, it closed down my internet service.
I also have mailed them a letter to take care of this and have not had any response.
Does anyone have a solution? I don't know who to contact now.
no order placed, no books received, billing turned over to collections.
Bottomline Books has been billing $43.95 to my father for books that were never ordered nor any books were ever received. My father does not even handle any financial matters due to his failing health. After a 1 year of receiving bills, my father now receives collection notices from North Shore Agency. No telephone numbers are listed other than a number to make a payment. If you decline to make payment you receive a message to call back when you have an account number and are ready to make payment. This should be investigated. It is so wrong to target elderly individuals who cannot represent themselves. You better bet we will fight this nonsense! I will be contacting the BBB in Tennessee first thing tomorrow.
sending me merchandise nt ordered
I received a package a few weeks back from bottom line books.
I did not order this package.
2 days ago I received a bill for $82.84.
I have had some experience with bottom line before.
I was not satisfied with the last books that I did order and kind of thought I was ripped off.
I will not send you any money
Send me the return postage to return this package
Now take me off your mailing list. If I ever want any of your merchandise I will order it.
Thank you
I, too received a book from Bottom Line, which I had not ordered. As soon as I got it I took it to the Post Office and returned it the same day. This was in Nov.2012.
Today, 12/20/2012 I received a bill for it. Evidently they don't check their return mail.
Their phone no. is not listed, we found it by calling information. It is, !-[protected].
return of books purchased
I purchased many books from Bottom Line Books and have decided to return seven (7) of them. I received a refund for one (1) of the books. There were five (5) books in the same box but they say they only received the one (1) book. I mailed the books 8/30/12. They received the books 9/06/12 and gave me a refund 9/10/12. When I called to see about the refund for the rest of the books, they said that there was only one (1) book in the box.
Harassment over payment for a book, that I paid for.
I ordered a book from these people and I paid for the book with a check thru my bank. I have copies of the check that they cashed on May 4, 2012. They keep harassing me and saying that I did not pay for the book. I am sending A copy of the check to them today. I have another book ordered from Bottom Line Publications and when I receive it I will return it unopened. I would like advice on this situation.
Thanks for your time.

Scam
I returned a book last July and have still not received my refund. They have given me excuses and abject apologies and promises but NO money. Now they will not answer my e-mails . Patricia Davis is the customer Care person and she sent me an e-mail stating that I would finally get my refund in December, but of course I didn't. now she doesn't answer my e-mails. This is a scam and judging from the number of complaints lodged against this company I am surprised they have not been closed down and prosecuted.
there should be a way to stop this company from sending out unsolicited material
Last year, I ordered Health Breakthroughs 2009 from Bottom Line Books. I paid my bill in full and timely and have made no further contact with the company. A few weeks ago, I received Health Breakthroughs 2010, unsolicited. Since I know that I did not order this book, I did not open it and simply returned it at the Post Office the next day. I received a bill in the mail on 12/21/2009 for the book that I returned. The bill had no phone number for a customer service department. I had to go online to get a company phone number. There should be a way to stop this company from sending out unsolicited material.
I just received a book from Bottom Line Books that I did not order ! They are getting pretty sneaky sending me stuff I did not order. I do believe that if someone sends me something I did not order I can keep it and not pay for it !
unsolicited + unreceived book
I've received two (2) bills since February 18/11 from such a company named Bottom Line Books. The last one is for $47.94 dated 03/18/11 supposedly for a book named "Treasury of Health Secrets". They have my address to send the bills but obviously failed in sending that book! I agree they must be targeting 50 plus aged people. I'm one of them. I'm unemployed for more than 6 months now; and have not satisfied must of my basic finances. I have never order, neither received any package or book from the cited Bottom Line Books Co.
I still do not get any explanation and also there is no phone number for a lawful and must to be Customer Service from them. It's so upsetting such a waste of my time. It's like a fake corporative thief masked under that name. I'm reporting them to the BBB to force them to show their faces and stop scamming elder people.
Please read what other scammed people got to state:

Don't be naive, it's junk mail!
mail fraud and worst scam
If you Search “Bottom Line” here rather than “Bottom Line Books, ” you’ll find hundreds of complaints. Bottom Line is bad news and a serious scam. They will send unsolicited materials and hound you with billing. They will claim on mailings that they do so because you asked them to do so. I responded last year when they sent an unordered book and told them...

I was sent a book that I did not order. I sent it back unopened. I DIDN'T WANT IT! They have since been sending increasingly demanding payment notices. Their notices come with absolutely no way to contact them other than a pre-addressed envelope. No phone number, no email, nothing. This is getting ridiculous!
I didn't order it, therefore, I REFUSE to pay for it! I am a widow on a fixed income. I don't order any kind of book or magazine. So it would be nice to be rid of these silly 'bills' that I keep receiving.
If this was a serious company, there would be a simple way to contact them, not jumping through all these hoops! That in and of itself warned me that they were trying to swindle me. So I got on-line... and presto... other people just like myself who are being harrassed!
I, too have received collection notice from North Shore Agency for a book that I have never seen Ency of Healing Foods.
I have another book that they sent me before. I paid for it not wanting to go through the process of having to go to the PO to return it. I don't want any unsolicited books from Bottom Line!
What can we do to avoid these unsolicited books being delivered to our homes. I am a senior citizen, over 80 years of age!
Loss of original subscription to BLP when Bottom Line Retirement ceased publication
I have had a subscription to Bottom Line Personal (BLP) since at least 2005. On Jan. 5, 2009 I made an online payment of $39.00 from my bank to extend that subscription through Feb. 2011. On Sept. 11, 2009 I made an online payment of $39.00 from my bank to RENEW my subscription to Bottom Line Retirement (BLR) through Nov. 2010 as described on the invoice. In Dec. 2009 Bottom Line Retirement ceased publication, proclaiming that the unused portion of that subscription would be transferred to Bottom line Personal. Since I had already paid for BLP through Feb. 2011, I had expected the subscription to be extended through Jan. 2012. I have received several "subscriber notices" that my TRIAL subscription to BLP was/did expire with the Feb. issue of BLP. On Oct. 30, 2010 I sent a letter to Martin Edelston, BLP Chairman, explaining the situation. At that time I requested a refund of $35.75 for the 11 issues of BLP that I did not receive. I did NOT receive any type of response to this letter. Today (Feb. 1, 2011) I received another letter from Mr. Edleston, letting me know that my BLP had expired and requesting that I renew my subscription. I have no intention of subscribing or renewing any of the Bottom Line products. (I had previously subscribed to BL Health & BL Tomorrow). I am only requesting a refund of my $35.75 and have no desire to receive any further products from Bottom Line or any other products from Boardroom Inc.
