Wrong billing
I was checking my credit report and it showed your company in collection. I was serviced in 2001 to 2004 with Monitronics. We cancelled our contract with them and they quit monitoring my home. I was totally surprised to see this on my report. I need you to please remove this from my credit report. Or show me a contract where I have signed for your service.

Brinks large area dusk to dawn activated security light 4800 lumens
We purchased two lights the bulbs didn't last no time less than 3 months. Can not purchase bulbs at local Walmart where we purchased the at, only can purchase online and the replacement bulbs are expensive. Very disappointed in the quality of the product. After reading reviews on the product feel like the company should have took action and done recall on product. I normally don't complain but totally unsatisfied with the product. I would either like a total refund for my purchase or request replacement bulbs at no cost to me. Due to all the telemarketing calls I do not answer unknown numbers on my phone, but leaving my email address for a response o. The defective bulbs/product.

I always have bought the [protected], 4800 lumens led bulbs. I have had 2 quit working in a month. I would like at least 2 replacement bulbs. please. It might be the whole outside unit " dawn till dusk" that bulb style came with originally. Make me super happy and replace 2 bulbs & main unit.

I have replaced the required bulb (#7974 @ $20 a bulb) in 1 year, now the light doesn't come on at all. I bypassed the sensor and it comes on. I paid $50 for this unit and have $80 in bulbs, can't believe this is all I get for this short length of time

I purchased a Brinks Security Light approximately 3 months ago from a local Walmart. I had the light installed approximately 2 1/2 months ago and two weeks ago the light bulb went out. I had an electrician check it out and he told me that the bulb was blown out. I have been pricing new bulbs and I'm finding the cost is $20 -$30. I really did like the brightness of the light but don't think it should only last less than a month. I would appreciate replacement on my light bulb as soon as possible. Light bulb
Purchased this today (03/20/2020) at walmart. Installed it and the bulb it comes with doesn't even work. Made sure it wasn't the actual unit that was the problem by putting in a regular light bulb and it works just fine. It made a click sound when the light was suppose to be on but the bulb it comes with didn't turn on at all. We tested it out while the sun was out and later on in the night when it got dark enough and even covered the sensor as an added measure and still no action from the large bulb. A regular bulb worked fine with it but i paid money for the whole thing not just the unit itself.
Fraudulent contracts
This company is one of the companies you would like to stay away from. What they do is send a representative out to your home and sign you up for 36 months. Now you're thinking you're signed up for 36 months but once you get their contract in the mail state 60 months . I had to evolved BBB which was great but I unfortunately was not able to resolve. This company is so bad they will go to any extent to take your money. I'm sure everybody knows how to copy -paste anything wherever you need it to go . They finally sent contract we sign for 60 months I was livid. I guess Brinks security company thought senior citizen won't remember. We do remember. It's time someone stood up to Brinks they are crooks. I don't know how many people they have taken advantage of, needs to stop now. Who signs up for 60 months or five years? We don't know where we're going to be in 5 years . I'm fighting with this company for almost 4 years, and they continue to call and now they have tried to mess up my credit. So that didn't work and now some attorney wrote me to tell that I need pay over thousand dollars, but I haven't had service with them in over a year and a half but they continue to monitor my house when I had another service ADT which is excellent . Now get this my service from Brink home security cancel my service January 24, 2020 your alarm monitoring service will be disconnected. It have been disconnected over a year and a half after my 36 months was up. We did the right thing and trying to cancel this security after 36 months. They focus and target senior citizens. Please check your contracts make sure they put in the right months .Rosenthal Morgan and Thomas, inc shame on you and your company to take on this case you no nothing about, you are fighting for this dishonest company and you won't win. Brinks led area light
I have two of these lights and about 6 months ago they started to take longer and longer to come on only to go off shortly after. They were replaced free of charge with the impression that the problem was resolved only to be going through the same issue again. Although they were replaced at no charge it was still a pain in the [censored] to have to replace the fixture only to now find out it was most likely just the bulb that like everything else sold by Walmart is made in China. I for one would hope that someone would either get to the bottom of this problem or have the balls to tell the Chinese manufacturer to either fix their cheap [censored] bulbs or find another manufacturer.
Power cut on system with no notification to us
Power cut off on tue 5th 2019, to the security system and no notification of any kind to us. This could have resulted in a family being kidnapped or killed and no one would know about it because no action was taken by your company. Should have been a text or phone call to confirm the situation, not ignored. By putting our lives in danger we requested to drop your service. Talking to a Rep. we were told we still had to pay the hole contract up first. I can't see how i should pay for a contract when your the ones that dropped the ball of providing security for our family. This matter will be brought to our attorney if not resolved by the laws of contract agreements.
Service
On Oct. 21, I reached out to Brinks after I tried testing my system. My system was not working, I found out from the rep for the company that they did not have a signal from my unit since July, 2019. My account was paid up to date and they stated that they would refund me, in which they only credited my account for one month. They set up an appointment for me on Oct. 28, 2019; the technician came and found that he did not have the proper tools to complete the job. He told me that he would call so he could come back to finish the job. He never called, I reached out on the number he gave me and to Brinks on three different occasions 10/30, 11/1 and 11/4 before I received a call back from the technician's office on 11/5/19. On that call I was told that they could schedule me for 11/21 than 11/19 in which those times were not good for me. Than they wanted to schedule me for the following week and I would have to wait in a four hour window. I expressed to them that I should not have to wait since the job was supposed to have been taken care of the previous week and that was the best they could do. That was not acceptable to me and I told them that I would contact Brinks. After speaking to a rep I was informed that they would try to obtain another company to do the job because I felt that i should not have to wait for a job that was not completed when it was suppose to be. I am very disappointed in the service that I have/or have not received from this company.

My name is Elizabeth Farley, Last week we bought a Brinks Dust to Dawn outside light from the Cullman Alabama Walmart, we paid $45.97 without taxes, after getting it install, it worked one night, it has not came back on since. Today I bought a parts bulb # 923-0027 which I was able to find on the side of the bulb, but the item which we bought was model 7257, and you cant find a replacement bulb for 7257, we are going to see if this bulb is the right one, but I just wanted you to know that I had to spend $19.97 for another bulb that only lasted one night. I feel like we should be refunded by you or another bulb. it seems a lot of people are having problems with their bulbs. Thank you [protected]
Brinks 7257 outdoor light
I bought this from Walmart and had it professionally installed.It worked great for 3 weeks and then suddenly stopped. I checked for power and tested with anpther bulb and it worked. The bulbs provided are worthless. If i would have known this?beforehand I would have went a different route. I have spent more money installing than what it costed. Not sure about the warranty but i do hope to get a replacement.
Alarm system
HI' My name is Shaka Brown, I reside at 2744 Malcolm St. I move here March 01, 2018 where previously my landlord Mrs.Marshall was residing there. Mrs. Marshall ask me did I want to keep the alarm system? I stated, " yes " so at that point Mrs. Marshall called the BRINK'S and notified them that I Shaka Brown was a new tenant taking over the property and that i wanted to keep the alarm service. She also "asked" if i can keep it at the same price of $36.90. They stated the only way i can keep it the same price is if i leave the service in the landlord name. So we agreed to what the advocate suggested. At that point the advocate instructed us to call around to get a landline in order for the alarm to work. So i contact a company called Comcast to get the landline. After getting the service with Comcast I called them back and they asked me did i have a phone landline. I told them who the service was threw and they stated i was all set to go. I asked them to add me to the account so that i can start paying my own bill using my own name. At that time i was told i was added to the account and that i can use my own name since i was the new tenant and it was my bill to pay. So around October some time i made the last payment before my account went into delinquency of payment I owe 117.69 due to the fact that i would let my alarm go off for 30 minutes are so and no one calls are no police comes. When i set the alarm off all i here is a humming noise. On 12/06/2018 I Shaka Brown called in to pay the past due balance of 117.69 and right before the avocate go me over to the billing department she asked me can she check my alarm system I stated yes and she walked me threw the process and she came with the conclusion that i had no connection. So at that point she transferred me to tech support and they tested it and said that i was not compatible with the service meaning me having Comcast Service was not compatible to brinks home security system. So i asked her does that mean that i was never using brink services and she stated that i was correct. So i ask her can i get a refund for not using they service she stated that i cannot get a refund because its my fault that i did not call in monthly to get it tested. When initially when i call and gave them my info they could have just tested the service then instead of being impatient and rushing to take a payment. So when i ask the advocate why they don't make call to the customer for quick alarm testing she state that they don't do that the member have to call in. Which i think is very wrong because no one told me that i had to call in monthly when i told them i was a new tenant i have 4 children and i was under the impression that i was getting great service setting my alarm daily like i'm protecting my children in this bad neighborhood i live in because i cant afford to live nice like some people! They broke in this house right before i moved her and now BRINKS HOME SECURITY is telling me that i cannot get money back for all the month 03/2018 to 10/2018 .So on 12/05/2018 i talked to the supervisor over tech support depart by the name of Alisha #[protected] ext 21659 she apologize and ask me if my i think my landlord can upgrade the account to wireless because i only had a limited access to the account so i agreed to ask my land lord and at that point Mrs.Marshal and I agreed to no longer go with the company do to the situation. Alisha the supervisor told me she had to get some more information and that she think if the wireless runs around 300 to 400 dollars that they can just credit that and i would NOT have to pay anything and that my billl would go up to 41.00 and not exceed 42.00 if she could do i which means to me that they owe me but want me to keep the service and credit that to the upgrade so Alisha the supervisor told me she would call me back around 6:00 pm before she got off work to let me know what they come up with and all i know i on 12/6/2018 i received a voicemail from a supervisor by the name Misty at [protected] ext 21678 telling me to call her back in regard to billing and non communication from the panel which is incorrect because the reason why the system was NOT communicating is because the system is NOT compatible with comcast services the whole time. So Alisha and Misty agreed to refund me 2 month of payment which comes out to be 73.80 because i should have called in and got it tested. I feel if they know they owe me partial! They know owe me he whole amount. Then they turned around and stated that instead of crediting the 2 month payment back to my card that they would have to put that toward the late payments and make the account to 0$ I wouldn't have to pay anything else. And that if i wanted to close my account i would have to the the landlord to do it since she account holder. All i want is for some one to look into this matter because i really !WANT A REFUND OF MY MONEY! I used Monitonics for a number of years and was satisfied with their service. Brinks took them over and shortly after that we moved from the east side of Indianapolis to Avon which is west of Indianapolis. My 81 year old father purchased and installed this light at walmart 4/18. Installed 4/11/18. It worked well until 6/18 then sporadically until 7/18. Didn't work again until 9/3/18. Has NOT come back on since. I cannot find a replacement bulb for this security light model any where. I have been to walmart in Lowville and Rome, also Lowes in Rome. Please, help me to figure out what to do.
Led flood light stopped working after only 4 months. Replaced with other bulb and it works fine. I need a replacement bulb, but can not find any.
Installed security flood light just 4 months ago. Light worked fine for 4 months then LED bulb burned. I installed a small LED bulb just to verify that it is the bulb. After installing smaller bulb the light works so I know the problem is the bulb.Looking for replacement bulb (part #[protected]). Bulb stopped working after only 4 months of use. Should have lasted 8000 hours.
Brinks dust to dawn 7105w
The worst light fixture that I have ever installed. The bracket is to long for the weather box. The housing base doesn't have enough depth for the lighting mechanism. Which will not let it seal. Had to grind the ends of the brackets. Still with the depth issue it did not seal against the box. Took hours of struggling with it. It is installed pethitecly and will wait till it rains to see if it quits working. If so the this junk will go back to Walmart.

I bought two Brinks Led Security Lights Dusk to Dawn. Both bulbs have came out of the metal socket and thus disconnecting the wire that attaches to the wire connected to the metal socket. One I had for two months and the other one two weeks No replacement bulbs are available so a new unit was needed to restore the light in the yard. It feels like rubbery chalking that attached the wire to the bulb and socket The metal screw part that goes into the light socket is healed in place with that she rubbery chalking. I love the LED lights but gets expensive to replace every month or two Please advise me what needs to be done

Purchased this light at Wal mart November 2017. The light worked as it should until December 2017. The bulb is the problem. I can put a regular bulb in fixture and it works fine. Tried the led bulb that came with fixture in another socket and nothing. It says it has a 25, 000 hour life. Mine lasted a little over a month. That is unexceptable. I cannot even...

When activated the lights just flash. I have been asked if I am takin pictures of people. None of the 3 trouble shooting options change anything. Completely useless now. Had company over from work for the first time and they were really weirded out by it. Everyone that comes over I have to reassure I'm not taking photos of them. Finally just unplugged it. Would really appreciate some help with this it was a pretty expensive light system
Brinks 180 halogen activate security light model 7160
We purchased this product from Walmart in Alabama in September 2017, while trying to get out of the path of Hurricane Irma. My husband installed the light and it was working fine, but on October 17th, the light burst into flames while we slept. A neighbor saw the flames and was able to put the fire out before it caused structure damage to the home.
