I really liked the price, design assistance, and installation from Built By Design Cabinets, Inc. The lifetime warranty didn't make me feel too secure though. There were a few problems with the paint finish, but Built By Design Cabinets fixed it all up for me.
This company did a bad job
This company did a bad job. They gave me broken stuff. They don't keep their promises or warranty. They lied to their money people. They don't answer my calls and don't come when they say they will. The people who work there are rude. They said they were somewhere they're not. They use an old person's address that they don't know. Don't trust this company.

Stay away from this company! We spent $17,000 on cabinet refacing and it was a disaster. Chips appeared right after installation and it took them almost a year to try to fix it. But it only made things worse - the cabinet face fell off and hit our kid! These guys are not honest and will cheat you. You can find better and cheaper options. Don't go near this company!

I hired Built By Design in Nov 2020 to redo my kitchen and bathroom cabinets. When the contractor, *** Walden, came for the final payment, I told him I was happy with the cabinets but not with the countertop and backsplash. The countertop was uneven where the two pieces met, and the tile backsplash was messy with sharp corners and grout globs. I also didn't like the tile and grout I chose. *** said there was nothing wrong and threatened not to fix it if I didn't pay. I paid and arranged for the backsplash to be redone, but the same installer left a hole in the wall, grout globs, and didn't reattach the outlets or waterproof. The grout is cracking, and the company won't use another installer. I've emailed several times about unresolved issues, paint chips, and drawers not closing, but they ignore me.
