I booked my return flight from Toronto to Halifax (13-20 Aug 2019), as my mother had a stroke. The day before I was to fly, my mother took a turn for the worst, and I had to cancel the flight to Halifax and get there sooner. I was told I could claim this, upon receipt of a death and certificate. FlightHub booking Number [protected], AirCanada N5JLME, WestJet RYWVQT. My mother passed 15 August. I had to change the return flight to 17 August (and had paid for booking changes) and again was told I could claim this upon receipt of a death certificate. Attached is the death certificate. I would like to be refunded my costs for both flights, as neither was used. The flights were booked, thus no funds would be lost. Thank you. Karen Falle
FlightHub - unauthorized credit card charges and unethical behaviour
I have purchased an air ticket with the FlightHub Booking Number [protected] and Ukraine Intl Airl Confirmation Number WSS2AZ at April 20, 2019 from FlightHub as a travel agency.This ticket consists of flight from Toronto to Kiev then to Tehran and return in the amount of CAN$1263.25.On May 02, 2019 I have received an email from Ukraine Airline that flight from Kiev to Tehran has been canceled and invite me to return my ticket and its value from the place of purchase.So I called the agency the same day at about 6pm and request them to refund the ticket value as per airline email but they charge me CAN$400 as a airline penalty and cancellation fee a well.They refund just CAN$863.25. once more I called them on May 03, 2019 at 7:35pm about this issue someone whose name is Femm but hung off phone after 30 minutes without transferring to her supervisor as i requested to transfer it. again calling them at 8:05pm someone who told me she is supervisor, did not accept and said this is penalty and cancellation fee .
Also I called Ukraine Airline about this issue and the told me " we never demand penalty for this cancellation"
