I bought Cadbury chocolate silk and found white patches on it. It showed signs of fungus I guess. At tht spot itself I called and registered complaint.. They told they will take actions. No actions wr taken. Even after my second call...till now no actions are taken. They shld be ashamed of not repaying for their mistake.it will definitely affect the goodwill of their business

staff complaint
I visited the Bylsbridge Pnp in Centurion on 13 December 2017, 13:15. There was a lay unpacking the dairy milk ice-cream in front of the pay points. I requested her to please move so i could get to to the allocated till point to pay for my goods. the ignored my request bumped my baby bump (7.5 months pregnant) into the counter to get further stock to pack into the fridge, almost causing me to fall.
I raised it with the PnP manager who advised me that it is not there staff member but a dairy milk staff member. This is highly unprofessional and acceptable and causes damage to the stores. this behavior could lead to injured customers or any damages claims.
cadbury dairy milk oreo chocolate
I bought cadbury dairy milk oreo chocolate on 12th august from a store near malviya nagar metro station, Delhi. When I opened it, it was smelling very bad. It felt very oily when I touched the inside the wrapper to open it all my hands got soaked in oil. The smell of oil was very bad it felt like some cheap quality oil. And the chocolate was unopened when I bought it I was the one who opened it. It was not expired. The expiration date is very far away. I couldn't eat it obviously and felt like complete idiot wasting my money. It was of Rs.75. I don't expect such service from cadbury.
I captured some pictures which I will post here. As a consumer I felt cheated.

cadbury martians
Good day. I would like to find out if there is something wrong with the cadbury martians competition website. We cannot log in, it does not give us a verification code. We send numerous requests. We collected four codes. A lot of wrappers do not have codes. Please let us know whatvto do. The kids really want the martians figurines. They so disappointed that we cannot redeem it. We purchased a whole lot of cadbury slabs. Please help, let us know what to do.
Thanks a lot

top deck
I bought a slab of top deck dairy milk from my local supermarket, pick n pay, upon opening the package I found the slab to not be a top deck slab but a plain slab that was just dotted with white chocolate. I have attached a picture below of what I received in the packaging, I would just like to ask that you up your quality control when packaging your product. I have always enjoyed your products and buy regularly but I found this quite unacceptable, please can we find a way to resolve this. Thank you

The outside package have no hole & i'm sure its has been affected from the earlier processing. i was shocked after i have eaten a very long webs & i feel phobia to buy this kind of chocolate. How this is happen? Where is the food controller to verify the food? How disgusting happen to me! I have send email complaints & call the consumer service but no reply. Service is very bad! half of wood stick inside a biscuit
The afternoon of the day 24th of November of 2013, I went to the store to buy a package of cookies. As I am a big fan of the preparation for "Cadbury Hot chocolate", that day I decided to buy something completely different : the -for me completely new- biscuits " Cadbury Disgestives " .
When I came home ready to enjoy a delicious cup of hot chocolate with my cookies, everything started well ... Until I bite the third cookie. My teeth start to fight what turned out to be something like a wooden stick with a sharp tip, potentially harmful for human consumption... A bit more of a third of a wood stick inside of the cookie!
In short, a potential hazard to the consumer ...
Do not know what to do about it and I am feeling a little cheated by both the commercial establishment in which I have acquired the package of cookies ( Poundland ) and by the Cadbury company .
If buying a cheap a product represents a risk, at least the consumer should be warn about this in order to assume the consequences of their decisions... But as a consumer I trusted in a brand that put in risk my health and security.
I am completely in shock. I feel neglected and scorned because if that would be the case that I swallowed the piece of wood, I do not know who would have paid for the treatment and the resulting damage ...
I am still trying to find out the right place to raise this complaint apart from this one...
Thanks in advance,
CB

worm in the chocolate (unexpired product)
This is the actual complain message I sent to kraft (distributor of Cadbury in the Philippines) last September 15, 2010. Unfortunately, they haven't responded yet to my complaint.
I have bought a Cadbury Dairymilk (40g) last September 11, 2010, at Waltermart (Gen. Trias, Cavite, Philippines). When I opened the foil that covers the chocolate, I have noticed that grains of chocolates were present on the sides of the chocolate--which was unusual because the chocolate must have a smooth texture. I have also noticed webs in the chocolate. Upon further inspection, I saw a worm crawling from a hole somewhere in the chocolate. I took pictures and video of the worm in the chocolate but unfortunately, I can't attach the files in this message. By the way, the chocolate was made in Malaysia (BBD 12-11-10, code 333CL101B2). I already went to the supermarket to ask replacement of the item I bought. I hope you can immediately attend to my concern. I really love Cadbury chocolates. We all know that Cadbury was being bought in higher price compared to any other brands. It just puzzles me how a worm can penetrate a chocolate that was sealed inside a foil. Though I have studied food technology course, it was never been discussed in our food microbiology/biology subject that there were worms that love eating chocolates (maybe I was absent at the time my professor had discussed this). I wouldn't have sent a complaint if what I have found in the chocolate were ants.
I have also seen (while internet browsing) that there were previous incidents in other country that worms were also found in the Cadbury chocolate. I haven't given much of my time reading the article so I don't know what the manufacturer did in order to address the customer's concern. Have the Food Safety Team of the processing plant really implemented corrective action done when the incident first happened? If they have, what might be the possible reason/s of the recurrence of the incident? Should the customer blame the supermarket where the product was bought? Think about it.

while eating a cadbury dairy milk eclairs toffee, I came across a metal kind of object inside it
While eating a Cadbury dairy milk Eclairs toffee, i came across a metal kind of object inside it. I in fact ate a few broken particles of it before i realized what the object was. I was really worried for my health after consuming it as I felt a lot of unease in my throat.
I would like to officially launch a complaint against the company for negligence to public health due to hazardous materials inside their product. I have managed to retain a little portion of the toffee with the object in it.
i am shocked and saddened to report that i personally had a pc of your " Dairy Milk - Eclairs " the rs 10 tube with independent wrapped pcs which was presented to my 3 yr child at a birthday party and found 2 metal pieces. i simply cannot believe it that chocolate for children from a reputed company like your would have a metal pieces in them. this is unacceptable and needs to be taken seriously. this could have caused very serious injury if it was consumed by a child, stomach lining could be damaged and cause very serious health issues. i would like to send the pic of these metal pieces to you and thereafter take this matter to its fair conclusion. pls let me know an email id where these pics can be sent and the concerned persons details.
contact the company immediately so they have it on record.
Complaining on this website won't help.
I have found fungus when I opened the dairy milk. It may be harmful to my health, so I want to officially complaint against the company. Give me the reason for this otherwise i'll contact to the consumer forum.
did you call them ? http://cadburyindia.com/misc/contact.asp
its not noral to chomp down on a piece of metal in a chocolate bar. its a very very rare thing to happen, i'd consult your doctor as well about the metal you ate also just to make sure your ok.
unhealty chocolates
I bought about 6 chocolates from a near by store. I got Diary milk, 5 star and Munch. When I reached home and checked all the chocolates were powdery in nature and bitter to eat. I complaint to cadbury, but they said they can only replace the chocolate. I demanded for a lab test to be done as it could affect other consumers as well, but Cadbury did not take any action. They wanted to just replace the chocolates. This happened in Sep 09 but till date no action has been taken. I have called the Mumbai office which is a STD for me and spend a lot of money on telephone bills, but nobody is ready to speak to me. I try calling the toll free number but no one helps.
I have the chocolates with me and have tried number of way to put in a complaint but nobody has bothered.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Read full review of Cadbury and 7 commentsworms and molds
I loved Cadbury, but the incident that took place a few days back prompted me to post this complaint. I bought a 150 grams of Cadbury Roast Almond from Gaisano Store in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, Philippines a couple of days ago. I checked the wrapper for the expiration date and I read 05/10/09. I assumed that it meant 5 October 2009 which is months away.
That same night, I felt like binging and I grabbed my favorite chocolate (the same Cadbury Roast Almond I bought earlier that day). I opened it and broke a small portion of the chocolate bar. At first bite, the chocolate tasted funny, but I didn't mind it thinking that it was just because I just brushed my teeth. When I was done with that portion of chocolate, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. It reminded me of the Van houten chocolate that I bought (from the same store) that had molds. So I decided to open up the whole package.
Much to my disgust, there were a number of worms wiggling in the chocolate bar! There were also molds! On instinct, I threw the chocolate and rushed to the toilet to wash my mouth. I decided to return the store the following day to file my complaint. You would be surprised and disgusted with what the merchandiser told me.
When I asked for the store supervisor for my complaint, the first person that they called was the merchandiser. The merchandiser told me that they had no idea that there were worms in the chocolate bar. Besides, he told me, the chocolate was already opened. I felt my blood rush to my head and I told him, "Are you plain stupid or what? How would I know that there are worms in the chocolate if I didn't opene it?" Then they asked me to ait for the supervisor. Around 15 minutes later, the supervisor approached me. He was carrying a few bars of Cadbury. He told me (and showed me) that the expiration date is stated as day/month/year which he said illustrates that the chocolates on display were not expired. So I asked him how he would explain the worms and molds in the chocolate that I purchased. Hold your breath, he told me: It's a RECURRING incident involving Cadbury Roast Almond. I asked him, "So what do you do about it?" He said, "We just report complaints to the local distributor."
Amazing! Those people in the store don't take responsibility for the food products that they put on display! How could they allow such incident to happen repeatedly and take no actions on it? And how could Cadbury allow this thing to happen in the first place?
If I were to be asked what should be done, I would definitely say: They should put a warning on Cadbury chocolates that says: This product is only for those who have the stomach for wiggling worms and thickened molds.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I experience eating cadbury with mold and worms too, i had file a complaint to DOH-BFAD who handles food and drug complaints. BFAD ask me to impose demand with cadbury instead i ask them to impose penalties since this involves public health hazard. I cannot think of something to demand that would teach cadbury a lesson that this instance will never happen again I'm not looking for monetary consideration I just want justice that this will never happen to another consumer again. please help me figure out what to do about this...
Thanks

get the store manager to tell you who the distributor is and their business address. then get yourself a lawyer. if the store manager doesn't cooperate, sue him also.

My name is Shelley Tryon. I have been buying caramilk chocolate bars for years because of how good they are. For the past 2 weeks I have been have issues with the chocolate bar rapper. Every time I go to open the chocolate bar the package is actually glued to the chocolate bar, making it so you cannot even eat the bar. Because of the glue on the chocolate bar there is a lot of the paper glued on the rapper. I buy the chocolate bars daily and I really hope the problem gets fixed because my 10 year old daughter got very sick because of the glue. Please fix this problem before other kids get sick to.
Thank you
Shelley Tryon
