First off Chris called me back in just under a minute when I inquired about a refinance,
he was very pleasant. the process was painless, provided the documents. Zildjian then took over the paperwork and all his magic he does. He was always in communications with me on the progress of the loan a 10 year 2% I might add.
All in all, with dealing with several other issues, such as my brothers passing, dealing with his estate, and a few other pressing issues. Chris & Zildjian made this process the easiest refinance I have ever had.

Jesse Ayala did a great job with constant communication and being responsive through phone calls, emails and texts. He was even working on our loan over the weekend to get it through in a timely manner. The rates were good and the suggestions on what worked best for my situation were covered. I was apprehensive of doing an online refinance but Harry was great! He answered all my questions and explained the process. Once I sent in my application, Zildjian picked up the processing and seeing it through. He answered any questions quickly and professionally. Kept me up to date on the status every step of the way. We closed in just a few short weeks and it was a good experience overall. I'd use them again and would refer to friends and family.

I revived a letter in the mail about refinancing. When I initially worked with Tony, he was great. He helped me get the best loan possible for my situation. After that, working with Lana made this entire experience awesome. Don't know Lana, but pretty sure she's my new best friend. I do not write a whole lot or reviews, however my recent "awesome" refinance transaction with Cake Mortgage was outstanding! This was my first time doing a refinance with an online lender. I normally do business with the traditional (Brick & Mortar) banks. After several conversations with other lenders, it became apparent to me the people at Cake Mortgage were likable & more importantly after giving them my basic information had no problem with giving me their best rate & closing costs in writing with a rate lock; without the typical "used car salesmen" approach to get to the bottom line. The rate was the best, by about a ¼ point & the closing costs were almost nothing ($500~) after their lender credit with no BS fees like origination fees, etc... They had to do an appraisal of my property which is pretty standard these days. However, they paid for the appraisal up front, which says a lot about the confidence they had in their ability to close the loan. My first contact was with their Sr. Loan officer Andrew Arakelin. Andrew was creditably helpful in selection the best loan term and rate that made the most sense for my refinance. He professional and very helpful in getting the process going, before handing off to my loan processer Artin Nazarian. Artin's communication & personal attention to my loan getting approved was second to none! He was always reachable by phone or email which was refreshing especially in today's environment. Artin assisted me along every step of the way in working with underwriting to resolve any issue's that arose with documentation. Anyone that has gone thru this process knows there are always issues. The complete transaction with Cake Mortgage was less than 30-days from the time I first I spoke to them till the signing of the documents at the closing. Surprisingly, that was not the case with most of the lenders I contacted, but it speaks especially well to the honesty with which Cake Mortgage runs their business. Patiently explained the different options. Came up with good solutions to problems. Picked up my telephone calls on the first ring. Closed 28 days after I first began shopping around. I had a great experience refinancing my loan through Millennial much in part to the excellent service provided by the Loan Officer, Alvin and the Loan Processor, Laura. Alvin got the process off to a great start, pivoting quickly and providing options when I changed my mind on the loan amount, ensuring I didn't lose the best rate. And Laura did a great job guiding me through the process and cleared road blocks like a champ. Despite some hold ups on my end with getting her what she needed, she worked diligently (above and beyond in my opinion) and got my loan through the process quickly, keeping me in the loop the entire time. I highly recommend Laura and Alvin for their professionalism, knowledge and excellent customer service.

I had a great experience with Millennial Home Lending to refinance my house. Both loan officer (Tony T.) and loan processor (Armen Z.) from Millennial Home Lending were every professional, knowledgeable and patient. They listed to what I needed and then responded and took care of my needs. They were responsive. Sometimes they made me felt like I was the only one customer they were helping. We were able to work together efficiently. It's their management's fortune to have those employees in the team. On the other hand, I wish it could have closed the refi a little bit sooner (it took 2 months to close). Oh well I am sure they have a lot of backlog due to current low interest rate situation. Good job overall Millennial Home Lending. I will come back to you for the next opportunity. Thank you.

Just refinanced the house with Millennial lending. This is the third time I have gone through this process and it was by far the easiest, cheapest, and the fastest (and has the lowest rate). I started the process with Josh Kelman who was easy-going and upfront about everything. He told me about being able to float the rate lock while we worked (did I get that term right?) which was something other companies like Chase had not mentioned. Once Zel Cecilio was assigned as our loan processer things kept moving. He kept me updated when he was waiting for things and was a great communicator. When we hit a snag he was able to guide me for what to get and found work-arounds to keep things moving when paperwork from the county took a week. Every deadline they set was pretty standard (like 30-45 days to process the loan) and they beat every deadline set. I highly recommend these guys for your home loan needs.

Buying a home or refinancing a home can be a daunting process, and while it still requires some tedious attention, Sasoon and Armen made it seamless for us. They were both so pleasant, attentive, responsive and diligent. They were nothing less than amazing.
We started this process on July 1 and closed on July 27. If we ever refinance or buy a new home, we are definitely coming back to MHL, and we will request to work with these gentlemen. We will not hesitate to recommend MHL and them to our friends and family.

I wanted to purchase a house in my existing neighborhood so I could move my aging mother close to all of our family and my job. I was prepared to live with her whenever she needs assistance, or hire help if it becomes more than I can handle. This company approved me for the financing on the perfect house, based on my credit and income. When they found out our current home is in the same neighborhood, they wanted to treat this as an investment property, requiring 15% down. Then when I told them the reason I am buying a second house so close to my husband's house, they wanted me to supply them with my mother's financial information, even though she never applied and had nothing to do with borrowing the money. They actually told me the only way they can approve me buying the house is if I provide her information. Even though I have no history of real estate transactions, rental income, or even investing in real estate. I am not permitted as a working, adult female to own my own house in the vicinity of one my husband owns. Are we in the USA, or WHAT!?
Worst refinance experience ever!
Worst refinance experience ever! My refi has taken 4 months to complete and I'm still trying to figure out why/how - the only explanation is that they are incredibly slow, incredibly incompetent or both. I supposedly closed - signed all the paperwork with a notary at our home - on September 14th. On the 24th I found out (not from MHL) that my existing loan had not been paid off. When I called to ask about it they said "yes we're still trying to get an up to date payoff letter". So not only were they somehow not able to obtain a payoff letter in those 10 days, but they also failed to contact me and let me know. Once I got involved, I've tried working with them to get the payoff and get this processed. It is now the 30th of September and even though they have the payoff and have been trying all day to get the funding going and send the wire payments, its still not done. I have purchased 6 houses over the past 24 years and refinanced a few of those loans and this is without question by far the worst experience I've ever had related to a mortgage company. Terrible, terrible, terrible!

I would like to share a very positive experience while doing a re-finance with Millennial Home Lending. I worked closely with Matthew Hernandez who was the Loan Originator and Zildjian Cecilio was the Loan Processor. Matt worked very patiently with me to work with the initial origination application for re-fi. I had originally obtained a quote from another lender but Matt not only matched it but secured even a better deal with considerable favorable outcomes. He even stayed for a long time on the call with me so that I could secure a low rate before the rates were about to change. Zildjian later continued with the remainder of the proceedings, made sure I knew about all the required documents well before hand, made sure they were accurate after I had provided them. BOTH the gentlemen worked very hard to make sure we met steep deadlines (which we did meet without any issues), very helpful, had a sense of urgency and very pleasant to work with. If I were to to another refi in future - these 2 gentlemen would definitely be my first choice. Thank you very much for a Prompt and Wonderful Service of Re-fi, Matt and Zildjian!

I recently decided to get away from the mortgage company that purchased my home loan (Carrington Mortgage). I received a refinance offer through the original loan company from when I bought the home. They suggested Millennial Home lending. I read the reviews and had a good gut feeling so I inquired. Michael Azimian took the call. I explained why I was wanting to leave the other mortgage company and he genuinely listened. Amazingly Michael Azimian didn't try to sell me on anything. When asked he laid out all of my options within minutes. After a few minutes of Michael Azimian professionalism I knew I wanted to continue working with him. Here are the qualities that stand out about Michael Azimian:
- Expectations of the process were always met or exceeded.
- Just the right amount of communication whether it be by text, email, or calls.
- Always informed me of the next step and what I will need in order to be prepared for it.
- Walked me through, over the phone, step by step when signing the e-documents.
- Made contact with me during the wait periods (very rare did I ever wait for a thing) to explain
what is taking place.
- Set up the in person notary signing around my professional schedule.
- Lastly, Michael Azimian had a great sense of humor and was an absolute pleasure to
interact with.
In closing; the whole process took less than 30 days from start to closing. I cannot speak highly enough about the customer service and professional interaction I had with Michael Azimian at Millennial Home Lending. I highly recommend.

I started refinancing with Cake Mortgage Corp in August. We did everything we needed to do on time and sent it to underwriting in September. We've been waiting for an appraisal since then. They told us it would be done by October 21st, but we still haven't heard from an appraiser. I've tried calling and emailing them, but they haven't responded.
I heard 'bout Cake Mortgage on the radio, they said they'd give me $**** if they couldn't get me a better mortgage rate

They told us not to pay our January bill to our current mortgage company, but when we checked with them, they said they ain't got no official notice from Cake. If we didn't pay by January 30, we'd be in trouble with the credit people and they charged us a fat late fee. We paid up and sent an email to our loan officer at Cake to cancel everything and shred our papers.
