atm and manager rude behaviour
Hi, I'm Mohanabal Sivan. This morning 6/6/2022 about 12.10pm I was heading to caltex teluk air tawar. Once reach there I used atm BSN and I got torn money from the atm. I gave to the staff to reject it and said the manager couldn't accept. My point here, how I can be responsible for the torn money out from atm. So I ask the manager name to issue this at bank branch to change the money but the staff refused to give their manager name... It is so unprofessional... For me as a staff there thy should assist me on how to change this money yes which is from their lot atm... No proper customer service and the manager over there make don't know of the issue going on...

I bought R300 petrol at this service station the attendant proceeded to enter the amount on the pump yet when he proceeded to fill my tank he intermittently pulled the plunger and I doubt the accuracy of the amount of petrol I received.
Why was it necessary for him to do this countless times? When I complained about it he shrugged me off and other attendant laughed

Driving home lacking in fuel I just made it to my local garage (CALTEX brenthurst Brakpan) where I have been throwing in petrol since a youngster. I asked them to throw in petrol when I was told. Sorry the system is down. I worked at a caltex when I was younger as a manager. When they told me the system was down I already knew that they where lieing to me. The refused to help me and when I asked for the manager she didn't want to come out. I was told I must sleep there. I had to walk home leaving my bakie alone. I HAD TO WALK HOME. I know that when they got full tanks against byp the old price they make loads of money. I was in shock when I had to walk home

A very bad experience as of today at Caltex Tepi Sg Tanah Merah at 5.15pm on 27/5/22.. At pump no 4,kereta tinggal 3km je lagi boleh gerak.. Urgent cari stesen minyak jumpa la caltex tepi sg ni.. Mmg xpernah2 isi caltex selama ni.. Masuk2 tgk ok la ada assigned staff kat each pump station tp biasa pam minyak sendiri.. Bila nak g byr tgk kat kaunter tulis sila byr di pam.. Mksdnya mmg kena minta staf incharge yg pam n byr kt dia.. Kira buka tingkap je.. Mmg i xnampak la nama si staff tu.. I juz pam minyak cukup2 je utk sampai rumah another 20 km.. And of course i biasa isi pakai Liter tp disebabkan nak byr i hulur je rm10 and ckp nak rm 10 je.. I tahu it equals to more or less 5 liter and usually my car 5 liter bar minyak naik at least 3 or 4 bar and km akan bertambah up to 100 km++.. Sadly, staff tu ckp dah siap isi and i percaya.. I gerak je kuar stesen minyak and i nampak bar minyak i tak naik2 pun, angka km boleh gerak reduce to 2km.. I did pay and i rasa i kena tipu.. I patah balik, argue dgn staff berkenaan yg jaga pam no 4 pukul 5.15pm 27/5/22 kat stesen minyak ni tp dia ckp dia isi muka di sebalik mask and mata dia tu gelabah.. Then i ckp.. Its ok.. Knp xleh pam sendiri.. Benda ni kalau bukan sebab i terdesak kereta i xde minyak i tak kisah.. Mslhnya its obvious sgt and yes staff tu melayu islam.. I tahu zmn2 ekonomi pasca covid ni tp kemon la.. Staff assign at pump station not pump petrol into my car tank.. Only took rm10 money and pretend to fill up.. I'm confident enough as my car only can go up to 3 km at that time with empty tank light goes on/off as warning.. After claimed by the staff that the petrol worth rm10 already filled in, i drive away and notice the fuel meter not increase in number of bar.. I go back and argue with the staff assigned at pump no 4.. But he didn't won't to admit.. I pump another 10 L worth rm 10.25 cent then the petrol bar n km rise as its supposed to be.. Not give any receipt also.. I seriously not happy with the assigned staff at the pump station.. Also need to pay at the pump station to the particular staff.. Risks of being cheated on.

Requested car to be filled up. I had a quarter tank left. I went to the pharmacy 5 metres from the pump, to get meds and when I got back the car was filled with 46.7 litres of diesel. My car only takes 45 litres. With a quarter tank left, how can Caltex quantify 46.7 litres? The pump is not correct, or I have been conned. I have contacted the station manager, left messages, and each time he is not available. I buy chemicals for a living, raw materials as such and do k ow that particle size can be issue and that temperature plays a role. What I don't understand is how you can fit that much fuel into that tank of a polo 1.9 tdi two door 2004 vehicle

rude customer service
Today 6 may 2022 at approximately 8.30pm, I was served by a very rude Chinese petite lady aged 50-60, as I was carrying quite a handful of merchandise on hand, there was a counter happen to be unmanned, so as I saw this Chinese was busy with some stuff, so I merely asked her, is there anyone attending the counter later? so I could leave my handful merchandise on the counter first before the next cashier comes,
And to my surprise, she asked me: "do I see anyone there? if don't have means no lah, just wait lah", I was utterly taken aback by her rude behavior, what have I done to deserve such a rude service from her?
I was thinking has Caltex customer service standard dropped?
So therefore I seek your attention on this matter in regards to the poor service standard by this particular staff, so that to maintain your company reputation and not losing loyal customer. Thank You.

At 6:05am on Thursday the 5th of may 2022 after being at the gym I went to get fuel from your morwell Victoria 3840 Caltex service station and the staff member Was quite rude . I and my wife get our fuel from this service station multiple times a week with no hassles and have done for years but now I don’t feel We will return to your service station as no one deserves to be treated like that . As I was reentering my car I looked over to him shaking his head so I went back into the store to address his attitude and rudeness in the politest way I could . I was not aggressive and did not use foul language but I gave him a light dressing down . Caltex has always been a well represented brand and I have always backed it but if this rudeness continues I will pass the word on to friends and family and you will loose more then two customers you will loose dozens upon dozens .
Desired outcome: I suggest this particular staff member is offered some more training as in their position they should have more adequate customer service knowledge .

I am writing to inform you of an incident that took place after 5 pm on 27/4/2022 at Caltex Merrylands, 150 Woodville Rd, Merrylands NSW 2160.
I have 2 young nieces a 13-year - old and 11-year-old both entered the premises which they have done on many different occasions.
After returning home from work the oldest had informed me of their day and that she and her sister had decided to go to Caltex and buy whatever goodies they wanted to buy.
To my surprise, I was told the person at the counter made a request and asked the oldest to go to McDonald's and go and pick up his food?
Here is a question why would an adult ask two young girls to do such a thing more so a stranger?
I had immediately informed my cousin who is the grandmother and guardian of these two girls and was completely shocked.
So she gathered both girls and went to the station to have the girls identify the man?
She had asked him the following questions, what gives you the right to send two young girls to pick up your food?
response: because they are like my sisters and you are my sister?
He was immediately corrected on the spot and was told they were not his sisters and nor was she?!
response: because I was coming to the end of my fasting?
But this still does not give you the right to send two young girls out to get food for you?
response: I am so sorry I should have not done this.
Now, we can respect anyone's religious beliefs and this may have had religious intentions but this person had placed these two girls at risk and put them in a vulnerable position to go beyond their destination just to pick up food for a stranger?
Yes these girls follow instructions well because we have taught them well to do exactly this!
We had to reiterate and explain to the two girls again the importance of "Stranger Danger" which comes in all shapes and forms.
We are considering taking this further with the police as it is a real concern that this person used personality charm whatever was used to convince my nieces to carry out this task for him.

Double charged
Good day I have a continuous problem with being double charged at caltex Blair athol in westville I had to visit the branch 5 times and at my own expense. My expenses and time amounted more then what I was charged for. What's even worse a massive multi national company like caltex expects the customer to go and fight for them with the problem they have with their bank. Does caltex not have the resources to take on absa and protect their customer. I have been up and down so many times and I get zero understanding and sympathy it's completely shocking

I’ve lived in Bourke NSW for 12 months now and the local Caltex service here in town is an absolute disgrace! Extremely poor customer service, I have been in the store when it has been quite and I’ve witnessed the staff members deliberately ignore the phone when customers are trying to call to place meal orders etc. The staff members have quite abit of trouble understanding basic English words amongst several other basic customers service fundamentals. Please do something whether it be something as simple as sending someone from your company to the store to give the staff members the proper training required for them to be able to do there job the way it is meant to be done.
Desired outcome: Would be good to see staff receive the proper training required.
Being disrespected and refuse service
I entered the garage to fill petrol, parked my vehicle on side pump hence there was cars at the pump, and went to the store to buy airtime, the lady behind the counter refused to assist me to buy R100 airtime, and told me to move my vehicle to the parking bay on the open, it was raining, hence I though of parking nearer to the store to avoid getting wet. I went to the manager to complain but, did not get any satisfaction. I have a dealer shop oppeside, and fill our cars on regular basis and support the cafe every day. As of today caltex can say goodbye to a regular customer. I told the manager that I was going to complain to head office, and didn't seem worried at all, saying go ahead.

Out of date, stale ice cream

My adult autistic daughter who is suffering with covid in isolation with me, placed an order for ice-cream from the above retailer via menulog the ice cream delivered was left at the door using the correct isolation precautions.
She ordered a 3 pint non dairy combo of Ben and Jerry's, the ice cream was stale and the use by date was November 2021,it was also not dairy free, we suffer from lactose intolerance.
I tried to contact menulog but was unable to, there is only a leave feedback form. I phoned the Caltex retailer and was told that the sale did not take place?

I GAVE THE ATTENDANT R100.
AND ASKED HIM TO FILL R100
AND I GAVE HIM ANOTHER R100 AND FORGOT I GAVE HIM THE FIRST R100
He acted funny and asked me R200?
I said no R100
But he could have said I paid twice
But he only filled R100
So he possibly pocketed my other R100
Is it possible to resolve this?

It is with great dismay that I am writing this complaint. I am not sure if I am directing my complaint on the right forum, if not please advise.
On Saturday, 26th February 2022 I took my 4 year old son, accompanied by my sister for a walk to the Caltex Garage, situated in Prince George Drive, Grassy Park, to have air put into his bicycle's tyres.
Upon arrival the the petrol station there were about 4 Petrol attendants standing in a row and I had asked them for assistance by means of filling air into the bicycle's tyres. At first they joked and asked me to choose one of them to assist. I said anyone that can assist I would appreciate it. They refused to assist until we chose one of them. My sister then pointed at one of them. I then said"please let me know how much air you putting in so that I can know myself", and of course Aris (as per his name tag) proceeded to fill both the back and front wheels.
I thanked Aris and his colleague that assisted by means of feeling the pressure as Aris administered the air.
My son climbed onto his bicycle and as we waked off, not even a 2 minute walk away from the garage we heard a massive explosion, that the people walking behind us got a fright as well. My ears were zinging and my son was in shock.
I then walked back to the Caltex and explained and showed Aris what had happened. His colleague Matembu then came and I explained and showed them the tyre had exploded.
I further explained to them that I am a single Mother and that my son rides his bicycle to drive to Crèche everyday, as we do not have a vehicle. I then asked them what is going to happen now as this is a financial burden I can ill afford and that my son drives it everyday and they proceeded to laugh. I was disgusted and appalled at the attitude and the manner in which they reacted to their mistake.
They continued laughing and they pointed to an Office telling me "you can go there to complain" and I then advised that I will be taking this up with Caltex Head Office.
Today my son started a new Day Care, that is further than the one he previously attended and he had to walk.
This event of Saturday has left my son very emotional as he loves his bicycle and is no longer able to enjoy the pleasure of riding it. His bicycle is not even a year old as I purchased it in August 2022.
I am not at the financial means to replace a tyre tube as well as the actual tyre. I am extremely upset when I think back of the "laughing out burst" Caltex Prince George Drive, Staff felt was fit for what they had caused. It hurts even more seeing my son's bicycle standing and him just starring at the bicycle and looking at this wheel.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate the money to urgently have the entire wheel replaced and the rate that I feel, it should be considered giving an additional payment for the situation they have put us in.

We have submitted a complaint with Caltex Lennox Kimberley where the attendant neglected to put the oil cap back after filling the engine with oil. CCTV footage clearly shows that the attendant did not put the oil cap back, yet the owner of the said filling station simply is ignoring this. The vehicle was driven and the engine oil splashed out to a point that the engine cut out. A detailed complaint including the CCTV footage and photographs were presented to the said filling station and we need a commitment that the filling station will accept liability for damages caused by the negligence of the attendant. In Qieensland there is a pervasive notion that cusyomer is not King. Once again verified by the treatment received on 2 Feb 2022 at 6:50am. I asked for a packet of cigarettes, which i was buying for a homeless person, and was given the largest pack. Upon noticing the amount I asked for a smaller pack upon which the attendant, a grey haired male in his fifties, said to my face don't waste my time. I said without a seconds thought "am i the cistomer or are you?" Upon which he replies "don't speak to me like that" and decided not to serve me further. Gobsmacked is a good word to use here!

Says open 24 hours when is, 't. I had to walk to Gheringhap because Goggle says you are open 24 hours!? I also have been keeping watch on the ciggerettes I buy and they are always more expensive than it says on the board. I have taken pictures and kept my transactions to see how long this illegal behaiver runs for and it hasn't stopped. I will be making a complaint to the relevant authorities for false advertising . Also the main fuel sign has been "not working", which is a nbit odd considering evrything else is and you can't get an electrition to fix? Once again I see this as extreamly dodgy. You already have a low rating on Gooogle and the new Apco down the road is now taking all your business.
Finally, I have seen one non-indian working there. This is a small local town and we don;t appreciate jobs being given to those that don't live in the area. You are starting to get a bad wrap around the town.
I would like to be compensated for the overcharging on my cigerettes and an apology put up for all customers or legal action will be taken.
