repairs
We took our year old trailer in for electrical repairs in September of 2017. While in the shop for these repairs, a Camping World employee ran into the side of the camper causing significant damage to the siding and the awning. It has been there ever since. We have been getting the run around since October saying there were delays in parts, wrong parts were sent, etc. We were told at the beginning of the year we would have the camper back by early March at the latest. It is now almost May, and we are now being told the new parts won't even be in until late May, putting the camper back in our hands mid-summer. We have spoken with about every manager there that has given us the "oh-well-I-don't-know-what-to-tell-you attitude". By the time we get this camper back, we will have made almost $4000 in payments with Zero use. I have yet to hear back from anyone that is empathetic or seems to want to help.
We need our camper or a new replacement by the beginning of May for our summer camping trips, which are starting on May 11th.
service work
This is the email I've sent to the Hamburg New York store
I've attached some pictures. I would like to start by asking you if you remember when I would not pick up my camper if the roads weren't dry?
When you're service department made the choice to transport my camper during snowy weather (wet salt covered roads) this is what happens.
1. Camper gets covered with road grime/salt. Resulting in camper needing washing and a pissed off customer.
2. Salt/ road grime gets on everything that is not protected like..
A. Wires = corroding =equipment not working =ing pissed of customer.
B. Camper steps rusting to the point where they won't work without extreme force =ing pissed off customer.
C. Everything gets covered with road salt ie. Frame, stabilizer legs, landing leg, doors hinges, wiring and so on. =ing one very pissed off customer!
3. With the service requested to have things done/fixed and either they were not done or not done properly along the service department damaging my camper.
A. Generator not fixed.
B . Leaving screw hole in wall at the tv strap, sawdust was left on floor from that.
C. Ask to have outside tv receptacles identified with labels. That was done with masking tape and a marker.
D. Ask to have satellite dish mounted to the roof. never got done.
C. Somehow service department managed to put a hole in the outside of the camper.
I have not heard back from you about fixing the problem with the wiring on the auxiliary fuel pump. I have fixed it on my own, also have secured the wiring harness that was left hanging.
Remember that this camper is not even one year old.
I hope you can understand the frustration with my camping world experience.

general manager
The Airstream Building in Thornburg has no management and when one does come down the general manager gets rid of them. There is no support for the people that work at that building. They have to rely on each other the only time you see management is when something goes very wrong then they want to act as if they know what going on in that building. They have been told on several occasions what is going on they either choose not to listen or they don't care. The general manager is getting rid of people then hiring family members and significant others to work there putting them in position they have no idea what they are doing. The general manager also is never there most of the time unless there is a heads up corporate is coming, also the general manager takes certain employees on expensive vacation.
service department at mcgeorge's rolling hills rv service
I purchased my unit from this location in January of 2018 and ever since the sale has been made the service after the sale has been completely disappointing they have ordered parts for me so they say and had them shipped to me so I could fix the problem myself but I haven't even received the part for that even though they were supposed to fix it when they had it for 6 weeks if need be I will trade this unit in and do business helps wear with a different company that has better service and cares more about their customers issues than they do just making the sale
service on the body of my camper
I dropped my rv off on tues. Afternoon for a wed am appt. The appt. Was to have a leak check performed and to have a window latch repaired.
I was told it would be ready for pick up on Friday the latest. At 3 pm I still don't have my rv. It was stated by a gentleman today that I should have never been given that quick of a turn around time from the gentleman who wrote up my service order.
So I would think that the company would compensate me for my time and inconvenience. This location is a 20 min. Drive from our house.
I will be picking up the rv now, the window has been fixed but the rv was never even looked at for leaks.
We will be camping this weekend with rain and I'm just out of luck? That was the reason I brought it in.
I cannot make an appt. Because the guy who makes appts. Is not in. There is no manager on site.
The gentleman can only say that its the other guys fault? The blame game? Don't you all work for the same organization? Where is the customer service?
I was contacted at 10 am to get my ok on fixing the window. I returned the call at 11 am and left a voicemail to go ahead with the repair. I even left a written note with a lady who answered the phone.
He still calls me at 1 pm to get my ok on the window repair? Where is the communication breakdown?
I was looking to be compensated for at least the window repair. He refused to grant me that courtesy. "He can't do that". I am disappointed with our very first rv repair experience.

I purchased this Travel Trailer 04-14-2017 from RV-Max in Sherman. Camping world bought them out and I was informed Camping World will resolve warranty concerns. The issue I have is the external wall laminate has separated on the side where the slide out is. I took it to RV outlet mall in Georgetown Texas for warranty work and they keep it for 3 months, but could not repair the separation issue. RV outlet mall can be reached at [protected], work order #54396 for verification, ask for Bubba. Ms Samantha Hover of Forest-river (#[protected]) EXT 37224 was also contacted concerning this issue. She requested data and pictures from Bubba at RV outlet verifying issue. All data was forward to her as requested. She informed me to contact Camping World to resolve issue. I have contacted Camping World in Sherman Texas where I purchased the Trailer several times but cannot get them to return my calls. I live 225 miles from the dealer so it is not easy to go there. Ms Hover sent me a list within 150 miles that maybe able to fix the side under warranty. I contacted them but no one has made this kind of repair. If it cannot be repaired I would like to exchange for similar trailer or have my money returned. Please respond and let me know who can help me resolve issue. I just retired in January and the wife and I was suppose to be traveling now visiting the grand-kids and family. Wade Shepherd [protected]

travel trailer
We went into Camping World Chattanooga location, to buy a travel trailer. We picked out the one we wanted and headed back inside. When we told our sales lady we wanted to pay cash, we were denied. They claim they could only take $3, 000 on our debit card, and that we would have to finance. They said they couldn't even take a check. Well anyways, we agreed to finance, knowing we would pay it off the very second we got the paperwork.
The finance manager came over and we filled out the paperwork. We told him our intentions and he was mad. He told us that we have to wait six months before we pay it off, so that he didn't have to pay back fees. What fees? And I could care less if they have to pay back anything!
Well, 3 weeks later we still haven't received and paperwork so we called M&T bank, whom they finance through. We were able to get the account and told them we want to pay it off. The lady from M&T bank gladly took our check over the phone and stated we would receive title in about 10 days. One week later we checked our bank account and still the amount was not taken out, nor pending. We explained to our bank there would be a large sum coming out.
Four days later, still nothing out of our bank account. We called M&T Bank again, and the lady whom we spoke too said, "No worry, its paid off, maybe check has not cleared yet"
Two days later we received paperwork and were, now, able to create an account with M&T Bank, and logged online to look at the loan information.
Low and behold, you can see where were the camper was paid off, but on the same exact day it was reversed. Not real sure why, we called M&T Bank again...
Spoke to a woman who claimed that the reason for reversal was insufficient funds. No way could that be possible. Well she then said maybe we gave wrong account number, but she read it back to us and guess what? It wasn't wrong. We explained to this woman and she agreed to send the check back through at the original date of pay off.
Here is the kicker. The next day which was Thursday April 5, 2018, we logged back on and it stated we still owed 65.84 for interest. No sir! We will not be charged interest when we paid it off on March 19, 2018. So we called M&T Bank again. Spoke to a nice guy, he stated that the request for original payoff was still in processing, and then I asked him how could there have been a reversal. He stated that the payoff amount goes to camping world for approval, because they are the originators of the loan, and they denied the payoff. He told me they denied because they would have to pay back some percentage they received for the loan, kind of like a bonus. We went to our bank and confirmed the check never never never came in to them. And don't you think something that big, our bank would have called us if we didn't have enough money to cover it? Don't you think M&T Bank would have charged us insufficient fund fee? All it boils down to the crooked finance manager and the Camping Word of Chattanooga. He did not want to pay back his bonus, or whatever they call that! Watch out folks camping world is crooked! Needless to say we no longer owe it, was taken care of that same day it was resubmitted, without the interest they tried tacking on. We will never ever do business with them again, and will take this to whomever we have to to be investigated for their dirty practices.!
service. forklift operator jack, did not block wheels, upon parking, it surged forward and bent landing gear
On Oct 24th, 2017
We brought our fifth wheel into Camping World, Nashville Tennessee.
We had a new bedroom vent put on. The forklift operator, Jack, was bringing it back to the location where we could now connect back to the truck, when he put it down he forgot to block the wheels. And in doing so, the trailer surged forward and the landing gear legs were bent.
When I went into the office to explain what had happened the service manager at the time, Shannon Patrick, was overwhelmed at the whole day. She explained that they were so busy and understaffed that they couldn't do anything about it for at least 2 weeks or more. We could not wait and incur the additional expenses as well. So Shannon said the only thing they could do was give us a $250 gift certificate and to fix it when we got home. We had to bring the trailer across country to California and could not unhook over this!
We bring it in to the San Bernardino California Camping World. They tell us, of course, they have nothing to do with what happened at that store. They state that it will be $800 for new legs!
The people that were working there that day are no longer working there to verify this! I need help I need someone that I am able to get help from over a Camping World incident, which was in no way my fault. I am asking that you please help me with this matter
service department
October of 2017 went into Camping World of Memphis with my husband, brother and his wife. We were each looking to purchase new campers. Andrew Jacuzzi and Marcus showed us campers they listened to our request and budget ranges and proceeded to lead the way. We looked at almost every travel trailer on lot to be sure we got what we wanted after making choice we each went in to start financing.
This is where the fun starts 1st we had a 2009 Puma for trade with site unseen we was told they would trade for $7, 000.00 + $500.00 cash and it would take a couple days to know about financing this was told after 3 hours of waiting and thinking we was leaving with new camper. Anytime we wanted to know what was going on with financing we had to call and ask they always say they will follow up but they DON'T!
On Friday called CW and told them we was taking business elsewhere then all of a sudden we was Finally approved and told to be there at 3pm with trade to sign and take camper home. Arrived at 3:30pm, immediately started moving items from old to new, 2-3 men came to inspect old camper. My husband and I was then called out and told our camper was in horrible condition and value of trade was only $500! I was floored. I know camper needed minor repairs or updates but it was rarely even used so then begins money battle I was ready to walk out but husband wanted new camper so after hour or so of debating and a total of $5, 000.00 cash down payment we was able to purchase new camper.
Now comes the walk through inspection everything appeared to be working great until pop outs (3) was not retracting correctly. Please understand this is a brand new camper. We was told we could go ahead and take it and when we bring back in for 90 day inspection they could fix it.
Camper was dropped off on Dec. 7th for scheduled maintenance and other issues with camper: loose kitchen faucet, water leaking around shower unit, soft spot in floor, no heat in back bunk, hole in wall in back bunk, Popouts and outdoor kitchen door not properly closing. Dennis Ising took our service complaint and assured us all would be fixed properly and in a timely manner.
We didn't even attempt to contact the first 30 days. Around middle of January we contacted Dennis and he said he was waiting on warranty approvals we said ok and waited. My brother who also bought new camper same week as us dropped his off as well same day for maintenance. My brother went to camping world around 1st of Feb. 2018 to pick his camper up to find that NOTHING had been repaired he was floored and we where worried same thing was happening to ours so we again spoke to Dennis and he assured us that everything was fixed other than approval for soft spot in floor. He told us he was going to contact Forrest River and see what hold up was.
Again weeks go by and no follow up I even emailed Dennis and 2 managers, David Hicks and Jeremy Douglass, on Feb. 19, NEVER got a reply. On March 5th spoke with Dennis told him we was getting inpatient it had been 3 Months why was camper not fixed he assured me ALL was done but soft spot and we could come and get camper. I told him we would be there by Saturday was told by Dennis he would pull camper around after phone call and recheck that all was done.
On Friday around 3pm called Camping World to notify we was in route to pick up camper was told by Alex they was still waiting on parts and camper not ready by this time my husband went off and said we was coming. Upon arriving camper was pulled in front Jeremy meet us outside to discuss issues we was told by Jeremy that Dennis was out that day and he was not sure why we was told it was ready and he had no answer for why camper was not repaired after 3 months and parts not even ordered. We was the 3rd complaint on Dennis that day.
On Inspection at pick up NOTHING was repaired not even popouts. Proceeded to haul away but battery was dead. Following day my husband called corporate to make formal complaint. Follow up came from David Hicks, Service Manager, at Olive Branch location. He didn't really seem to even care of all our troubles. He had endless excuses stating he was under staffed and that was reason for delays and that Forrest River took to long to approve warranty repairs.
I called Forrest River to confirm, Spoke to Kate who gave me complete breakdown. I was told it took CW 2 months to send in photos for some approvals and to date of March 14th NO photos had yet been sent to cover warranty of Popouts! and now popouts no longer under warranty and would be at cost to me. She then called back to tell me she spoke with her warranty manager told him our issues at CW and no need for photos they would approve repair to popouts.
Spoke with David on March 21st to confront him of findings again no apologizes or apparent concern just told he is under staffed and I should understand. Really! I do not feel that my camper will be properly cared for at this location. Please let me know how you would like to proceed with fixing my camper. Also my 90 day inspection was never done and I have cracks in roof seals!
terry classic trailer
I bought a 2018 Terry Classic and have not been happy since. There were a lot of things wrong with it from the beginning. First we pointed out the problems and they said oh just take it and use it. Then if you find more things wrong with it we will fix them. Well they told us it was done after 3 months they had it but they had not fixed any of the things we ask them to fix. Plus they made somethings worse. We are so upset we are thinking about getting a lawyer for the lemon law in Michigan. Finally after three months we got it back. They left it sit outside in the cold in Rossford, Ohio and left the battery in it. So on our trip to Alabama we had to stop and find a new one in Kentucky only to be told by Camping world that we would not get our money back but another battery like we need three. We stopped at a gas station to fill up and one of the over hang lights came out. On the way home we stopped again to get gas. The floor that my boy friend ask them to fix because it was squeaking in front of the refrigerator. They cut a hole in the bottom underneath and used tape to put it back in place which of course the tape did not hold. We bought more tape to hold it up and it came back down I am so mad I want my money back or a new trailer as this one is not what I expected a new one. Not one that is falling apart before I even get to use it. I just bought it last fall.
service department
My name is Kevin Richards and my wife Vicki purchased a new 2016 Forest River Class C 3051S motor home from Camping World in Hanover PA. after having it for a few months our in dash radio/ nav/ dvd player would cut in and out so we called to set up an appointment to have it repaired. Now my wife and I both work and Hanover is about 1-1/2 hours from our home. So we both had to take off work to deliver our rig to you to repair it. After not hearing anything for almost two weeks we called and found out that just days ago it was pulled in to look at. At that point it was confirmed that unit was damaged and a new one would be ordered. This could take up to 4 weeks to get in. So we just bought a new motor home and cant use it because of a warranty issue. We were also told that we could pick up our rig and use it untill the new parts come in. Lets think this through that would be 3 more days of my wife and i taking off work to get it and drop off again when the parts come in. So in reality in the first 6 months we have this you have it fo two months. oh well things happen move on.
Now for the real unhappiness
In June of 2017 we are getting ready to head to Maine for a 10 day trip. As we pull out of our home we start getting wet as our bunk over the cab is pouring water out all over the driver /passenger areas. so as we are driving my wife is dabbing water up with towels. When we get to our destination Which because of this was not that enjoyable of a journey. We set up removed the mattress put two small fans on the bunk area and the mattress. We make the best of our Maine trip and head home. After we are home we call Camping World in Harrisburg PA because of the last time the Harrisburg location is only 50 minutes for us.We are told that they are so busy that they can not get us in until early September. which we agreed to. One week before we are to take it for repair we see that Hersey camping show is going so we head there. While there we meet up with a Eastern region Forest River rep. We tell him our dilemma. And he tells us that this leak can come from either the window being installed wrong or something with the sealant at the clearance lights. Either way Forest River will good will the repair to us. So the next week I investigate and actually see where the water is coming in at the window and I duct tape the whole window to protect it from any further damage. now knowing that the repair could take weeks I call and bump our appointment until 11/3/17 because we didn't want to miss September and October which are prime camping months.
Now we bring our motor home to Harrisburg on 11/3/17 per our appointment and tell your service manager everything that has happened just as i have written to you. 6 weeks go by we hear nothing. I call to find out how its going thinking we should be able to pick it up soon. The reply i get is the parts were ordered 12/4/17. My unit has been there for 1 month and then the parts are ordered?(FIRST PROBLEM) Okay so i now check in two weeks later and get no parts have come in yet. I keep checking in to hear the same reply. Fast forward to 1/7/18 we decide to stop in to talk to someone about this. But first i go in the back lot to see where my motor home is being stored and see the tape has been removed and no plastic or tarp over the leak area? (SECOND PROBLEM). We then proceed to go in to talk to our service manager who is off that day. We ask if there is anyone we can talk to about our parts and we are directed to The warranty parts person. who was as helpful as she could be. She confirmed that the parts were indeed ordered on 12/4/17 gave us the PO number. We already had the Forest River Warranty rep number to call but she said that Forest River takes a long holiday break and probably wouldn't be back until mid week. I'm sure this is not the first holiday season you have been through with Forest River and Parts. I too deal with pre engineered building manufacturers that have extended holiday breaks. And we know when the cut off dates are so we can get orders in by so we can keep our customers in the loop to avoid situations like this.(THIRD PROBLEM).
On 1/13/18 we went to the Allentown PA rv show and spoke with a Forest River Rep who apologized for the parts delay. He took down our number and said he would look into our parts. on 1/15/18 my wife received a call that our parts were shipped and should be in Harrisburg by 1/16/18. But no one ordered a new mattress. When we questioned the service manager about this he said OH you want a new one. (FORTH PROBLEM) (Really). On 1/16/18 we received a call for your parts girl saying our parts came in. Then on 1/18/18 the service manager calls and tells us that the parts came in. Oddly enough there desks are less then 20' apart and it takes 2 days to travel that far? Now its Monday 1/22/18 one week since the parts came in and we get a call telling us they started working on our unit and found more damage that will need more parts. (FIFTH PROBLEM) I nearly lost it. You mean to tell me in the month of November that it was sitting up there and with the detailed explanation on what was happening This is where we are? Now that we are to today and you have been paid in full for this unit and i am paying monthly payments, insurance and also having my motor home depreciate faster than it would being on your lot getting snowed on every week and not in my back yard where it would be covered all winter including the tires. Not to mention not knowing when we will get it back! I do know that we are booked for a trip in the end of March. At this rate even that is questionable. As far as I'm concerned you struck out a few problems back. Now is the time to maybe salvage what is left of a very damaged customer relationship. Also I expect the repair to look like a new unit. If not I will not except it and I don't think either one of us wants to see what step would be next. I trust you will do the right thing.
myrtle beach camping world
We bought a camper from camping world in Jan of 2018, find out 2 days later it has a leak. This was a brand new PUMA camper. We take it over to the camping world, they said they couldn't look at it. So we take it to your local camping world in Fayetteville nc. They don't want to touch it, so myrtle beach came got the camper, had it over a month. WE thought I was fixed, took it camping only to have the same problem again. They sent out a service man, he told us it had to go back to the shop. He said the underbelly was never even cut open to fix a leak the first time. That piled on with the face it was NOT fully equipped when we first took it home (missing drain valves and correct fuses) they now have it again. We have paid 3 payments and have not even had it in our possession more than 2 consecutive weeks.
2016 prowler
Me and my wife bought a camper last year from the beginning our experience was horrible should of left an went somewhere else. Our sales person was an [censor] we picked out our camper had to wait an hour before we could talk to financial lady and she had no clue we were waiting hence our sales person [censor] he never told her. Second we were told we could do a walk thru to het told how things work never happened we were told our tip out leaks. Well that's not the only issue we had with it. Don't get me wrong we love our camper just wished they did not sabotage it before we bought it. Had a mechanic who works on campers come and fix all issues to it because camping world never would send any one to fix them the total it cost me was 800 dollars. He informed the adjusting bolts on our tip out were moved from factory settings our door locks were put in wrong which caused them to fall apart our roof top air unit was loose due to bolts being loosened and to top it off our dining room table and chairs were not secured when it was delivered hence they were damaged. When the guy delivering it brought it to our camp site I told him to unhitch it because our landlord was going to put it in our camp site I thought he would have enough common cense to chalk the tires wrong I walked to get my gloves from my truck I turned around he dropped it on the ground it rolled approx. 5 feet before stopping in grass. All he could say is my bad I was soo pissed even when I called camping world to complaint they said it was not their fault. When I spoke to my mechanic who worked on it about all the issues he says it is common practice for camping world to loosing bolts on items and not secure furniture down so they can charge the customer additional charges for fixing them that is why he quit them he said it is morally wrong. I have sent in letters emails and phone calls to who ever I can at camping world and all they can tell me is I am wrong and they would never do this if that is the case why in the past year we have spoken to at least 10 other people who went through same issues we did. At this point all I was wanting was to be paid back for money I spent on items that should have been covered on warrenty even tho I sent in copies of bills I never even got a letter as to why this happened. Plus it was so bad my land lord turned them into the better business bureau so my advice for all wh read this run never buy a camper from camping world!
unresponsive! customer service errors unresolved!
Mcgeorge's rv aston va is unresponsive to customer issues. To our delight we were able to negotiate a trade deal for a 2018 rv in aug 2017. Though I can barely remember the name 'forest river sunseeker'. We placed the order and took delivery in oct. There were delivery issues but negotiating with the dealer to resolve we were instructed to use the rv and return it in dec 2017 for the repairs needed. We returned the rv in dec 2017 as directed but in the meantime, while we had the rv, we never received the title information or tags. We found out that the title information was sent to our 2nd home in fl. We live and our mailing address is in va. The dealership knew the rv would be titled in fl and that we live in va. However, in no discussion was there any indication that the information would be sent to our fl address. No one lives in the fl house as it is solely a vacation home. Subsequently, I asked my neighbor to look and discovered the information was there in the fl house mail box. I had my neighbor retrieve the documentation and forward it to me at my expense. The documentation was set up as if I would file for title and registration (for my new rv) within 30 days... Long passed to the fl dmv. With this information back in my possession, in va, I engaged mcgeorge's rv and only after repeatedly calling, leaving message after message, and emailing for almost a month I receive an email from the finance manager/person saying they would rebuild the title information and return it to us to send to the fl dmv. This would be fine except no information has arrive here in va.in addition what was the $300 fee to register I was have to file it myself. It has been two weeks since hearing from the finance manager at mcgeorge's rv. No information has arrived. Having called (leaving messages) and emailing the finance manager john sebastian-moore to ask about the documentation I have no response. Every time I call the dealership about anything no one returns my call and no one answers email. I fear they have sent this documentation back to my fl address which, again, is not my mailing address. We have repeatedly given them the correct mailing address on numerous occasions.in addition; we received a notice from the bank who financed the rv about the title and I have referred them to the dealership finance manager. By the way; though I am a bit annoyed I would not categorize this as your name for this venue indicates. However, my "untitled, unregistered rv is sitting at a dealership, mcgeorge's rv center, who's admin staff is totally unresponsive to customers after the sale. If possible could someone help us with this title situation at mcgeorge's?

service contract
My parents purchased an extended warranty on their 30' motorhome. The slides weren't working right and the warranty was expiring in 3 days, so they set an appointment for repairs in the Memphis area store. They took it in and explained they are not near their home in Texarkana. They are 78 and 76 years old. The shop told them it would take a few days. It's been there since Monday the 26th of February; today is March 3. The warranty expired on 03/01/18. The shop hasn't touched it and now they're facing having to pay out of pocket for the expense of having it serviced elsewhere as they are living on a limited income now and can't afford to stay away from their home. I feel Camping World has deliberately put them off, has not tried to do the repairs, and is deliberately mistreated senior citizens who have spent much money with this company since they've been RV'ers since I was 8 (and I'm 56). I'm angry and this experience will be reported on social media. I expect someone to fix this problem and even reimburse their expenses.
thor motorcoach four winds 30d
Dan~~
I found the text letting you know we had just purchased a brand new Thor Motorcoach. When we started motorhome shopping, we knew Camping World had a huge inventory. When I called, you seemed perturbed by my call. We started shopping again. This time we found the perfect Thor Motorcoach. The salesperson on the phone was enthusiastic about showing us the vehicle. We made a date to see it. Bought it that day. The entire staff congratulated us on our purchase. We were never brushed off or made to feel rushed.
I must say that Camping World has comments that made us leary.
A colleague of yours did reach out to see if she could help us in our search. I explained to her the situation. This contact came over a week after I spoke to you.
I travel the country and will be shouting out the great service we received from the RV dealer.
Apparently Camping World wasn't interested in acquiring a new loyal customer.

side refrigerator vent cover on mallard m32
On September 4th of 2017 I purchased my Mallard M32 from Camping World of Toledo, located in Rossford Ohio. While bringing my camper home one of the side vents fell/was blown off. I took a picture as soon as I got home and noticed what had happened and sent it to Wesley Esquivel, who had been the sales associate for my camper. He told me that if I should ever have any issues to just contact him directly, which I had done. He immediately pawned me off to the parts and service department. I have been dealing with Nicole Ryan for the last five months with a string of emails to prove it. First of all the response I receive from Nicole is awful. Two weeks (January 16th) ago I had sent her an email asking where the cover was as she told me it was being ordered and I hadn't received it after a month and a half. She said she needed to talk with her parts department and that she would get back with me that day or the following Monday. Today (February 2nd) I sent her another email because she had not replied with a follow up. Well today the parts manager is not in, so maybe Monday I might hear something, but I certainly am not counting on it. It has been 5 months since the date of this issue and still no resolution. At this point I would love to bring the camper back for a complete refund of principal and interest. If this is how you treat your customers I want no part of Camping World going forward. I paid a lot of money for this camper and deserve better. I guess I should have listened to everyone that said not to go to Camping World.
general manager
We went to the Byram Mississippi location to purchase a new Motorhome Until we heard the way the general manager spoke to his employees and how the other managers were carrying on with him. Mr. Brown was out of line almost to the point to where he was bullying an employee. I have never been more embarrassed for this company than I am today. My husband and I have been doing business here for several years and we will never come back. We will spread the word to all of our local friends to NOT do business at this location. My husband said Mr. Brown does this quite often along with his service manager I find it to be a disgrace and we will not return until it has been corrected.
columbia sc confusing/ambiguous sales tactics
Purchased a 2017 Jayco on 10/5/17 Was told dealer would purchase license plate, however turned out was for a temporary plate. We were unpleasantly surprised by a notice from our local county DMV stating "DMV RECORDS INDICATE THAT THIS IS A NEW DEALER TAG. COUNTY PROPERTY TAXES WERE NOT PAID BY THE DEALER". This was NOT properly communicated by the sales person at the time of sale. When I called to ask about this, the finance person, I believe by the name of "Penny" answered on speaker phone. Her demeanor was lacking both professionalism and basic customer service, which was rather insulting after making such a large purchase ($58, 000). Our experience with this dealership compared to our other purchases was well below what it should be. On the flipside, the current Manager did help us handle the issues on the camper (that were not initially delivered as promised).
