I reside rurally and as such, have no choice but to receive my mail at the post office. As you can appreciate, in today's economy I have to work 3 jobs to sustain my household and therefore unable to pick up parcels during the open hours of operation in the Bath Ontario location. The office hours should accommodate lone led households that work the same office hours as the postal service including weekends - evening hours should be offered - at least one evening per week - to allow for mail parcels to be picked up when they don't fit in the postal box. Alternatively, if this isn't an option, parcels should be left on the doorstep as these are items needed for work. Historically, I have worked with Postal staff who were flexible in allowing workarounds to accommodate me, however today I attempted several times to call to provide authorization for mail pick up by someone else as there are items needed for work waiting for pick up. I called 5 times - no answer. When I called after my party attended to pick up my parcels and was denied - the woman was rude and curt.
Desired outcome: Evening hours - at minimum one per week to accommodate those of us who cannot attending during the current office hours.
