Canada Post Express mail delivery

I was home at the time all day and was tracking my mail the whole day as it was a package my mother sent me because it had my important medication and I just recently moved provinces and don’t have a family doctor here and the guy marked it delivered but it wasn’t and I had set up for automatic email notification which was set to push notifications in my phone I went to my mail box not but 5 minutes after it was marked delivered and it wasn’t in my box! The address was clear as day on my package as my mother sent me a photo for the tracking number. Now I’m out my medication for the month which I can I can get monthly and for few illnesses some autoimmune and Canada post is not taking responsibility for the lies or recklessness of their postal worker.

Desired outcome: Get me my medication ASAP and have the mail man come knock on my door so he can look at my face and tell me he delivered it to the right mail box!

Canada Post Issuing of New Avaition Stamp...Complaint to Canada Post Senior Management.

Attached is the contents of an e mail that is self explanatory to the Minister of Heritage and the Minister of Procurement. Copies have been sent to the leader of the opposition and the three main TV media groups plus numerous Aviation Agencies. This is going subject is going viral on social media.

++++++++

Please forward this e mail to the Minister of Canadian Heritage, the Honourable Pablo Rodriguez and also to Helena Jaczek the Minister of Public Services and Procurement (responsible for Canada Post).

Ministers:

I am writing to protest the issuing of a new Canadian stamp honouring the development of the de Havilland Beaver aircraft by showing a United States registered aircraft on the stamp.

This is a blunder that is embarrassing to Canadians and particularly to the members of the Canadian Aviation Industry.

As a pilot and lifetime participant in the Canadian aircraft industry, in the commercial, public and private sectors (and former pilot of CF-FHB, the #1 Beaver) I can assure you that the Canadian Aviation Community takes this affront to a Canadian aviation icon seriously.

Canada Post has made this attempt to honour a Canadian symbol of engineering excellence a joke in international aviation circles.

Eg. Can you imagine issuing a stamp showing Terry Fox wrapped in the Stars and Stripes or showing the Snowbirds with a US flag in the background?

I request a written response from both ministers responding on how this affront to Canadians will be rectified.

Yours sincerely,

W.T. (Tim) Cole

Desired outcome: Retract the stamp and replace the image with a Canadian Registration or no registration at all but remove the US registration on the stamp.

Canada Post Parcel Shipment

I sent two packages from Montreal to Toronto, Me being both the receiver and sender. I received one package a few weeks later in Toronto, but my second package containing only clothes was apparently held in "Secure Facility".

I have called at least 5 times since, and every time I've been told I'm going to be contacted via email when the package is found but I never received anything.

I have so many ticket numbers that I've lost count.

I would like to be reimbursed 2000$ for the lost items since they were my suits, trousers, and shirts. That is the minimum amount I'd need to replace them, not even considering the fact that one of those suits was given to me by my mother and had sentimental value to me.

It has been half a year, and I am honestly very frustrated and tired of contacting Canada post so many times, wasting my time and energy just to retrieve my property.

Please find below the tracking numbers I have.

Tracking code:

[protected]

Ticket 1:

[protected]

Ticket 2:

[protected]

Ticket 3:

[protected]

I've probably got 5 more tickets if I go through my screenshots, but you get the gist.

I would appreciate your prompt response and guidance on how to proceed.

Desired outcome: 2000$ to replace my lost items, + 38.68$ for the service that was never provided.

Canada Post Closing

I reside in Matachewan and I noticed a sign that states she is closing at 1 because of election training. I am sorry we have set hours to get our mail. We do not have access anytime because as she says it is her principal address. I work odd hours and I set the time to get my mail around that, How can she close for another job? That is not right! Either she keeps it open when it is supposed to be or look for another proffesion.

Desired outcome: Keep it open

Canada Post Mail delivary

The mail delivery person parked the vehicle in front of our house while I was outside on September 6th, 2022. I am sure he saw me but a little later my son said who was home that time too there was a parcel he expected but requested come to the post office the following day, That afternoon he left to Toronto but when I went to the post office the lady said there is no signature needed and she was surprised why it was not delivered. I paid an additional $25 to mail it to my son who had already gone the previous day

Now I found my regular mail s which was supposed to come to me is not coming as expected. The auto-pack letter which usually comes did not arrive and a critical letter from phamacare did not arrive as well though my Dr received the copy last week.

Canada Post Postal service inside shoppers drug mart

Went to post office inside Shoppers Drug Mart, High Gate Village at 7155 Kingsway Unit 250, Burnaby, BC V5E 2V1. Provided a money order to Canada Post Worker Bavneet and requested it to be refunded and redone with a new amount. Bavneet said this is not possible. I explained to Bavneet that when the money order was bought, I was told it was possible. Bavneet went to the back area of the store for a lengthy period of time. Then returned and said her Manager Ash said it can't be done today.

Questions:

1) Why can't this employee properly process her job duties.

2) If she is untrained, why is she left alone?

3) Why does she said "not possible" when it is possible?

4) Why can't I get proper service?

5) Why can't I get my request processed?

This is a complaint.

Canada Post Service

Since when does a Canada Postal Office close down for lunch. Isn't that when a lit of you business occurs. I walked into the Bradford, Ontario, L3Z 2A7, post office today, Monday October 3rd, 2022, to find the service window closed with a hand written note, "Closed for lunch will reopen at 2:10pm". Is this the new normal?

If an employee is working alone, they should be eating between customers. I look forward to your reply.

Regards,

[protected]@gmail.com

Desired outcome: Reprimand employee for closing down post office to eat.

Just watch one of you mail carriers (14:22 hours, October 3, 2022) just decide to cross my lawn and step over my tiny fence, I asked the carrier if I needed to build it higher? All I got was a yes! Please let your carriers know that trespassing is an offence that I will gladly act upon! There is a side walk for use, please have them use it!

Canada Post Customer service

I experienced a most humiliating and unprofessional treatment from a Canada Post employee at the Kemptville, Ontario Shoppers Drug Mart Canada Post office today (09/26/2022).

I was looking to mail a care package to my daughter who goes to Memorial University in St. John's NFLD. I had the address that I had also used for mailing amazon packages previously. I included my daughters name and the below address on campus.

Hatcher House 313

31 Livyers Loop

St. John's, Newfoundland A1B 3X6

Canada

The agent (and older man named Preston) was rude from the start of our encounter. I approached the counter and he was busy on the computer and looked less than pleased to be interrupted.

He then measured my package and said "this will never get there... the storm out east". I said I understood that there may be delays but I would like to pay to try to expedite. He scoffed, but I was ok with the 65$ charge to have the package expedited and I also know I can track the package, so felt ok. He then said "this address is nowhere in Canada". I told him the address was at MUN and that I had shipped successfully there before. "This address is not available for Canada Post" VERY loud and accusingly. I was very embarrassed as other people were now forming in line. I asked what I could do to get it to the address or if there was another address Canada Post uses. He stated again very loud and intimidatingly "THIS ADDRESS IS NOT IN CANADA".

I picked up my package almost in tears and left the store. Embarrassed and humiliated! I have been going to this post office for over 20 years as I have 5 kids to whom I always send packages. This man has never been helpful or friendly. He should not be customer facing. No customers should have to go through an experience like that.

My hope is that Preston is provided with guidance on how to treat customers and that he has no right to be mean and cruel to people he should be helping.

The woman who works there is amazing! I will wait until she is working before ever using Canada Post services there.

Please do something about this employee as this has been going on for too long in such an amazing town.

Desired outcome: Preston would benefit from being removed from this position as I cannot image anyone should have to ask this man for assistance in any way.

Canada Post Mail Delivery

Concerning delivery in commercial area in Devon, Alberta:

Some stores do not open until 10 a.m. over the last 20 years, we have always had mail delivery in the commercial area to accomodate this opening time. Mail was dropped of inside the store. A new delivery contractor is now refusing to adjust route to accomodate delivery to stores that are not open early. Discussions with local post office has not resolved the situation other than being told to install mail boxes which I feel will lead to vandalized boxes and mail theft from these businesses.

Desired outcome: Are we required to accomodate this contractor or should he not change his route to coincide with store opening hours?

Canada Post Mail is being held up at our post office

I ordered online and I know my mail arrived at my post office. There are alot of parcels and boxes which are clearly visible behind the counter. This is getting ridiculous. Also, the place where I work hasn't been receiving envelopes, envelopes that are time sensitive of customers paying there bills.

The post office is located in:

Attawapiskat Onatrio

P0L1A0

The post office recently acquired a new "computer system" and the employee's excuse is that it takes roughly 10 minutes to process one item. We are now going into the third week.

Mail is also being stored in a warehouse where its accessible by other persons other than postal workers. Lots of traffic from other individuals.

Isn't it illegal to store mail at other locations besides the post office?

I'm not the only with this complaint.

Desired outcome: Speed up the parcels! plus the delivery of our envelopes!

Canada Post Mail woman

On August 12,2022 I notified Canada Post about the delivery of our mail due to construction on our street.

Advised Canada post they are obliged by law to advise the residents of the cut in service.

We pay for this service, we pay municipal taxes.

I was given a lame excuse about how dangerous it is for the mail woman to deliver that is regardless of the fact mail is not delivered each day and we were not made aware.

Cbc newsbroadcast was made aware of this issue with another street in Montreal area poor service by Canada post.

I want answers otherwise I too will be posting on social media and go to news broadcast.

Hydro Qc sent us letters informing us cut in service, garbage removal yet Canada post did not.

Ticket number [protected] I want answers

Desired outcome: Compensation and explanation

Canada Post Issues with postal delivery

There is no specific date or time for this event, it has simply occurred more times than necessary at this point. We frequently receive mail for addresses that are not even on the same street as our business. There have been multiple instances now in which I have placed the incorrect mail back into the post for it to be delivered to us incorrectly for a second time. I'm sure this is equally as frustrating for the individuals who haven't been receiving their mail as a result. These incorrectly delivered items include mail from ICBC, as well as Service Canada, which doesn't seem appropriate.

Desired outcome: Thorough review of ALL mail prior to delivery, it shouldn't be our job to regularly have to make a trip to the post office for mail that shouldn't be coming to us in the first place.

Canada Post Damaged Property

I just had a postal worker jump over a retaining wall to take a short cut in delivering the mail. I had a large plant there and it was knocked over and damaged. I was in the window and happened to witness this and went out to talk to the postal worker. He refused to give me his ID number which was tucked into his vest out of sight. After I insisted that he identify himself he said his name was Juan. He was at my address at 2:18 pm on August 17th. It would not be difficult to track down this person.

The previous week I found another broken planter. I didn't witness that one but now I'm assuming that it was a careless postal worker trying to take a shortcut.

My understanding is that postal workers need to be provided with a clear and safe path yet, they choose to jump over retaining walls with plants and damage property. this is unacceptable.

Desired outcome: This person should be reprimanded and coached to use the sidewalk and stairs for his own safety and for the safety of people's property.
