I had a very bad experience with careen today ..I ordered a car and the captain wasn't able to reach my location ..I called him to describe the location for him and again he wasn't able to arrive although I did confirm my location on the app and I have been using the same location for many time ..it is not that vague!
Also when he arrives he didn't meet my location and asked me to reach him and it was really far away for me
I don't think am reserving a car to walk and search for the captain ...he was also talking to me in a very rude way ...and told me that it is a very long distance to drive to reach me and I should walk to reach him ! Is it really possible ?!
Am making a reservation to reach the captain ? And search for him ?!
I was late for my meeting and now your are deduction money for cancelling ...in fact I should ask for a compensation

I wanted to complain about 2 drivers, 1st i booked a ride but his number was unreachable and was turned off then i looked myself couple of time but there was car regarding the description which was provided to me when i booked it, then my driver cancelled the ride and for that i had to pay for it.
2nd, after this happened i booked another ride and the driver wanted me to walk a kilometer cause he said m not going to bring in the car for you cause the traffic was moving slowly, my mother was with me and she had an incident so she couldn't walk i told him but he dint came and cancelled the ride and now i have to pay for it again cause my balance is negative.

On 25 march 2017 we booked a careem car. Driver name was Muhammad yousuf so after booking he cancelled the ride bcus he was too far from our location. He gave us the fine of 150 and then we had a negative balance.
I think you will take this as a serious matter or else we will not use this ride. We want you to plz put that negative balance of 150 in our credit.

My name is Gulzar Hakim. I am an American citizen and was visiting Lahore Pakistan where I used Careem cab very first and probably last time on March 13, 2017. I have just receive a receipt/ bill for Careem cab ride 211 PKR. Hopefully this ride has not been charged to my credit card because driver Jahanzaib Tahir told me it is cash ride. The driver took me around for a ride going to airport. At the end of ride he told me the bill is 360 PKR plus tip. He collected from me total of 420 PKR. I don't mind tipping but didn't know it is a must thing for riding Careem. The drive Jahanzaib Tahir is a thief and claimed to be a cousin of D G of Punjab police.

I booked careem on 19th of March, 2017 (12:11am) from North Service Road (Kababjees), driver was Zahid Safdar, car was Daihatsu Mira, Silver, BGT-710. He was not reached at the place but at that time I received message from +9294 that your captain has arrived. I called him to find their location, he asked about drop off location and said he was at another road. He said that cancel the ride and then again book a ride. But I did not cancel it. After 10 minutes he cancelled the ride and when I booked ride again I received message from +9294 that "You have negative credit of PKR 128 in your account" my ride's fare was 198 and I paid 330.
My request is to refund this amount after investigation, as I did not cancelled my ride.

Hello my account was blocked I contacted careem by mail and they said that it is due to multiple signin from 1 device.. so i requested them and got unblocked my account. Booked a ride on Thursday and gave extra money to put in my vallet.. total I had 119 rupees. Now when on Thursday night i tried to book i again got the same message that your account has been blocked. I contacted you guys through email but agents are continuously saying that we cannot unblock it now

each time i take a careem car i am happy and i leave tips to the driver but suddenly i discovered that i cant order any more a car saying you will not be able to take any trips due to your negative balance

He said it will take him time to come to my location so I should cancel my ride and as his gprs will not verify the location so no charges would be paid by me. Hence I cancelled the ride, but also received the message of cancellation charges borne to me showing some negative credit in my account. I had to bear that charges due to him.

careem driver is a thief
I took Careem on thursday 2nd of March 2017 with Captain is Sohaib Khalid, +[protected]. Car is Lexus ES350, White, L52571. He called me when he arrived to find my exact location,
He put my kid's Plasma car and dog leash in the trunk, after he dropped us home we realized the things are still in the trunk so I called him 2 times to tell him to bring it back and I will pay his fare he answered and told me it's a wrong number, I called third time he canceled the call... so I sent him a message then I contacted Careem and told them the story they called the driver and he answered them and said that he came back and left my things in front of my house! We live in a gated community btw.
I told him why you didn't call me or knock on the door he didn't know what to say.
Bottom line
1-I left my things in a Careem car and I want them back,
2-Careem driver is a thief and if he gets away with his theft because it's not a big thing for sure it wont be his last
I used Careem cars because it's reliable and safe now I'm just waiting to see what action you're going to take

the first captain told me that he is far from me and asked me to cancel the request, so why you accept the request and I refused I told him you can cancel if you want, then one of the customer service of careem called me and said we are sorry another car will come to you and send a message with the name of driver and car model, the driver don't know how to come I told him the address, he called me again and again and don't know how to come then message sent that driver arrived and he was too far, I was too late and request uber car he came in one minute i was on my way 5 minutes to reach my destination and customer service of careem calling me that driver on his way, I told him many thanks I reached my destination by uber, I'm very upset for getting late to my destination
cancellation charges
I got charged with cancellation charges because the driver accepted my request however i was far away from him. He was checked in Sheikh Zayed and I'm in Maadi but he claimed that it's the location suggestion. He asked me to take the intiative and cancel the drive claiming that he can't take this action from his end. I am really upset from this bad service i am having with Careem as each request will lead to the same result. I can't get the point from being charged while the driver did not move any step towards my location. I got to seach for another taxi or driver to drive me my destination. Hate to feel like my favourite facility is also trying to get benefits from the customers. I need an urgent feedback regarding this complaint and waiting for reasonable compensation for that delay i had noting that i did not change my location or wrote a specific and let the GPS define tge location. rude taxi driver and overpriced fare

On Saturday 4th February I booked a Careem ride from Zero Gravity to Al Waarqa 1, Sama Residence. The captain was Syed Ubaid in car Lexus ES350 plate number L27949. Our journey was logged of a total 71 minutes.
I wanted to write to inform you that first the driver was very rude to both myself and a friend during and at the end of the journey. We took the same taxi journey earlier that day and the total time was only 35 minutes. We asked the taxi driver to stop at the nearby garage to use the ATM and also to drive through Mc Donalds. We were shocked to find the price of this billing, neither of us had ever paid such a price for a taxi!
I would like to continue using the Careem service but I am truely dissapointed at the service of the last taxi and I would like this query and the Captain looked into by the company.

careem captain scammed me with the fare
Last night on 5//2/17 I booked Careem to my destination which is from Al-Yasmin to Assir street. I payed via my debit card and the fare was estimated around 39 Riyals. The issue isn't there yet but when we got on the road, he acted as if he had an emergency situation and told me that he has to drop me off because of some issue he's having all of a sudden without notice. I was nice enough to tell him that he can drop me off Immediately and I will make another booking.Notice that he took a different way and started suggesting me good areas so i can order careem from and that I won't need to wait long for the booking which he was basically keeping me far from my distance. He dropped me in an inconvenience way and I asked him whether CAREEM would deduct the whole 39 riyals but he lied and said only 10-15 riyals will be deducted and I told him to end the trip now so I can see how much will be deducted then he said he's really rushing and can't show me how much money will be cut from my card. As soon as I got out of the vehicle, 32 riyals was deducted from my account and he played me really good. I hope you take serious actions about this or I will report this case to the ministry justice.

Of ads on Quikr so I didn't realise until later that it all seemed fishy, so I immediately called Quikr and they confirmed that so such call had been made from their side.than I researched the name careem online and your complaint portal appeared so I decided to inform you guys that any transactions made from the no. But I found out that it's more expensive and the drivers doesn't know their destinations and they always ask me to cancel the trip if they lost the destinations or they got too late which makes the company recoup which is not good couz its not my mistake, any way thank u .

Hi my name is Ayesha Sultan. I used first time careem service . My estimated fare was 211 and time was 15 minutes. The driver was so nervous and did not know the route at all . Which resulted me spent 50 minutes for the ride and charged me 595 pkr which is too much. I submitted my complaint in local office and I emailed as well . But no body replied or called.
Please take care my complaint it's really unprofessional to charge the customer triple the price.

We took a [protected]@08:10 from mai towers-Al nahda, dubai to be dropped at dubai grand hotel, al quasis.The distance should have covered in 10-12mins & with a trip fare of aed12-15 eventually took more than 30mins to traverse the distance & charged me aed42.
The driver Mr. Yasir khan didn't seem to know any routes & claimed ignorance &said he was new.Inspite of giving the dropp off location, he claimed to had no data.
This is very very poor service from kareem.
Felt got unsafe & cheated as he went all over the place.
Would really appreciate if this can be addressed.

I used Careem on June 10th. I already had a balance of Rs.100/- in my wallet. And I had to pay Rs. 91/- more. I didn't had any change.

So I gave Rs. 500/- to the driver, Muhammed Usman Yousaf, and asked him to add the rest to my wallet. He transferred only Rs. 259/- and STOLE MY 150/- Since that day it's the fourth time I am complaining. The careem care assures me every time that my balance will be cleared in 24 hrs. and they FAIL to do so.
The PROOF that I did give him a 500/- is that he transferred me Rs. 259/- which wasn't needed if any of us had any change and if I simply had a 100/-. The only currency bigger than a 100 is 500, which means I paid him 500/- otherwise there was no need to return me anything.
It's the last time I am complaining. I am gonna shift to UBER if this issue isn't solved.
