Salam,
I requested a ride from Samba bank on Abu Baker in Morsalat, Riyadh to STC compound which is about 5 minutes away. A captain by the name of Saud Meheidy with a phone number +[protected] showed up. A place (Samba Bank) which my friend gave a ride to from my location at STC to no more than 5 minutes. On the way back I requested Careem Service. It took the captain more than 15 minutes and he asked for 10 Ryal. I gave him 50 and he deducted 20 Ryals. I told him the ride is not worth more than 10 Ryal and he refused to return the money. Finally, he gave back 5 Ryals and he kept 15. I told him I going to give a negative feedback, so he went ahead and canceled the trip. It is not about the money. I use Carrem on a regular base since I arrived not long ago in Saudi Arabia. If no action taking to fix this kind of problems with this captain, I would reather use Uber instead and of course I will let my friends know about this experience.

I traveled first time by myself. I am extremely unsatisfied your service. They put plenty for cancellation of ride but I didn't cancel by my self. Captain told me to cancel because he said he was faraway from my home. Secondly I put your promo code pkfy8p3wdn7h5p which I received through email on behalf of black friday purchase but it didn't work. I have never paid such a huge amount for traveling. I paid 620 rupees although I already used promo code. My fair was 444 but your driver charged me 620 rupees. Such a pathetic service you people are giving by cheating innocent people as compare to uber.

I am really very disappointed of the bad attitude that some of your captains stated to show, which soon will be like the white taxi if you guys didn't take any action towards them. Enclosed please find what happened last night;
1. I requested a ride to my sister in law, to come from her home in El-Nozha El-Gedida to my home in Zahraa El-Maadi, and because I am very familiar of the maps and LBS applications, I used the map pin for her location and my location as well, because I know that most of your captains are not initially drivers, this was at 6:26 pm. In the same minute I received yobs SMS, I received a call from the captain: Ahmed Samir of the Black Hyundai Accent (761 ص ه ه) informing his is in the airport and far away. I said I don't mind to wait unless you are waiting a chance to pick some one from the airport. He said yes (حبيبي يا باشا). So I asked "you want me to cancel", answered "please". Ok, I cancelled and chose the 1st option which as far as I remember "The driver is far away" or so. Accordingly my promo of the 100 pound trip was cancelled.
2. Then I decided to make another request at 6:32, by using the map pin for her location and my location also like the call before, and received the SMS with the info of Captain Mohamed Adel of the Blue Chevorlet Aveo (4427 ع أ). The captain called me at 6:38 informing that he is almost at the beginning of the 6th October bridge. I told him NO I see you on the map, you are near by in JosephTito Street. He said I am sorry I am not familiar with the streets here. I told him I already gave you the location of the address. He said I am sorry my GPS is hanging. I told him no problem, ask for Taha Hussein Street, then Othman Amin, the address is no. 8. While I went to pray Ishaa', he arrived at 6:48, my sister in law got into the vehicle, then he told her give the me the destination address from your devise, she answered I don't know, and my brother in law, sent it to you already. She told him go to Zahraa El-Maadi vis the ring road. He said I don't know the ring road from here, we can ask anyone but "we might get lost" to scare here. So if you don't give me the address in 1 minute, I will cancel the trip, and he did cancel the trip. It ended up by taking a white taxi that luckily was very polite and surprising offered 15 pound discount from the 106 fare. Accordingly your system made my wallet -17 pounds from +4.
Finally, I am taking this time to write up what happened to highlight the behavior of your captains to take a corrective action, because it's your image and my perception. In fact I was very angry, and was about to call your Egypt CEO, Wael Fakharany but decided to report it as per the normal procedure.

I'd been waiting for him for about 15 min, driver was lost, he been to el mohandeseen, then another part of the el mohandeseen, then gone to different area's in el - agouza, i told him that he should have my location with him and he should know how to see where i am instead of moving around this way, he started to talk with an EXTREMELY rude way, he was shouting at me !, i ended the call with him and told him that i'l cancel the order, i took uber after that, driver came to me in 2 min exactly !.
1- it's my first time to use Careem and i guess it will be my last after that experience
2-You should be giving your drivers a better training about how to use the GPS app. and about how to treat the client
3- I don't know why i'd been charged 10 pounds because your driver wasn't smart enough to pick me up from my point!

Hi,
On October 31, i had a ride with a driver called Peter
At the end of the trip. Few steps away from my drop off location there was a water in the streets the thing that makes him nervous because the lower part of the car got wet!
Few minutes (it didnt exceed 5 minutes at all) after i left him I discovered that i have forgotten my charger in the car.
I called him and asked him to come back and bring me the charger but he refused!
He said ( all i can do is just to leave it in a shop that we stopped by for couple of minutes)
And however this was totally unaccepted but i told him ok.
Hour ago i called that shop and they said that nobody came and left anything for me!
I called the driver back and for 3 consecutive times he opened the line then he hanged off the phone!
And due to your new rule of not reaching your CS unless i place an order.
I did order a careem car JUST to reach your CS team. Which is by the way doesnt make any sense to me.
I reached Norhan Esmail and told her all the problem and she promised to slove this issue asap.
She later called me and appologized tgat driver now is out of Cairo and he wont be able to deliver me the charger until Friday November 4th!
This was way provoking! I shouldnt wait for 4 days till i get my charger!
Anyways i accepted and told her that till then i won't be using Careem anymore until my problem is solved!
she understood it and promised to call me again on Friday.
Till 2 pm she didnt call so i had to place another request to reach the CS team AGAIN!
I reached her again and she told me that i will be getting my charger on same day!
Hours later someone (most probably called Rana) called from UAE appologizing again and again promising me to get my charger by Sunday because they werent able to reach the driver!
Today I placed a complain through the official channel of Careem, few hours later i got a phone call from someone to notify me that the driver is getting me my charger today amd she excised to call him them call me back to informe with the exact time but AGAIN she didnt show up!
My charger is an original Apple charger that costs LE 400!
I am out of words from such a horrible customer service Careem is providing!
I see no any difference between Careem service and the local white taxi!
I decided to use Careem thinking that you are providing a professional service but obviously they know nothing about dealing with their loyal clients!

Hello, I was one of the loyal customers of careem since they started in Karachi, I started at the day first with my email id [protected]@yahoo.com, and i had more than 200+ rides, they started a promotion of the referals and i was very excited and i did posted on facebook, twitter and shared it with friends and family, after a month or so when i had around 11, 000 PKR credit they closed my account and after a long wait of waiting from their pathetic support i got a reply after 30 days after the surety that i will get my account and funds back but at the reply they said its blocked and cant be reopened, if you want you can sign up again.
Careem thinks customers are fool, they take your credit and close your account and then take your funds and then tell you to create a new account. i would want this company officials to Know that what they are doing in Karachi, and I would want want my account and funds back.
or else i wont be ever using careem, Uber is better with the terms of support because of these things happening in karachi.

We have been using Careem everyday for nearly six months and the service has completely gone down hill. We nearly have an accident overtime we get into the cars. The drivers do not pay attention to the road. The cars are now dirty and smelly. The drivers insult us and will not listen to our directions. We are being overcharged because there is something wrong with their system.
Extremely disappointed with Careem's service. My food order was not delivered to me as per policy, and despite contacting support, I received no compensation or solution. This level of customer service is unacceptable. Please address this issue and improve your delivery protocols to prevent such experiences!
They Charged my Trip on 14/08/2023 twice in the amount of 33 AED from each bank and till today 15/12/2023 they haven't refunded my money back.
