This website really works!
Due to the pandemic, I decided to move back home to be with my family so I needed to find someone to take over my car lease. I reached out online to SwapaLease and Ron Becker called me immediately. He was fantastic! He guided me through the whole process and was always available to answer my questions. I was able to find someone to take over the lease within 2 weeks.
Ron was reassuring and helpful during a difficult time. I admit I was nervous about the process, but Ron made it easy. Thank you for your excellent customer service.
GREAT SERVICE IF YOUR BETWEEN CARS AND NOT WANTING TO COMMIT TO A PURCHASE
I had a pieasant experience with swap a lease. Biggest problems were people who wouldnt commit to showing me their vehicle and the lengthy time to close the paperwork after the process starts.[not swap a lease"s fault tho]. It ll take 4 sometimes 5 wks.to complete the transaction. Ford Credit is the worst I believe. Truth of the matter is the credit co. Has no incentive to hurry. The original lease is a done deal. When someone takes over a lease the credit co. Has already made their money and has no reason to hurry the paperwork...
Great experience
I hadn't even heard of Swapalease until Ford Motor Credit recommended looking into it when I needed to get rid of the car I was leasing since I was moving to the city. I called them and Marc Baker walked me through the entire process and even set up my entire profile for me. How easy it is to get rid of your car totally depends on where you're living based on my experience. I wasn't able to transfer my lease until after I moved from Utah to Boston, but once I was in Boston I had people asking me for details every day. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to get out of a lease or get into one. Will likely use in the future if I need to lease a car again!

Great way to get cars
I have been working with SWAP-A-LEASE since 2003. Between myself, clients and friends I've done 13 deals and collected $27,000.00 in incentive money to take people out of their leases. I've gotten Mercedes, Cadillacs, BMW's and a Honda lease. I helped my friends dad get out of his lease 2 weeks before he passed away. As a Financial Money Manager to over 800 clients, I have recommended Swap-A-Lease many many times and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. It's a lot of work, but I've literally saved THOUSANDS of DOLLARS and think it's a great way to get short term leases with never putting a penny down. And most times the payment is less because someone else put the money down. I Love them and the concept.
Lisa Feldman ext 2001
I just transferred my lease on a 2017 Lincoln Navigator with the help of my personal account manager Lisa Feldman, ext 2001. I am beyond happy with the level of customer service she provided. I only had 3 months left on the lease and she quickly got my car up and "searchable". When my first transfer candidate pulled out, just as we were completing all The contracts, i was devastated. I didn't think i had time left to start again. I emailed Lisa and she got the search Going.
Within 1 week i had a new transfer candidate and the contracts have been signed And the car has been officially transferred. Lisa was so attentive and available, i will absolutely call on her again. Oh- all this happened during the COVID 19 pandemic!
I've been using Swapalease since 2004 - Great Site
In 2004 I took over a lease on a Jaguar, since then, 4 BMWs, 2 Mercedes, a Land Rover and a Corvette (for someone else). Currently searching for the next lease. I've also found someone to take over a lease on a Porsche. The site is fantastic for those of us who get bored with cars and are not too particular about color or getting something specific. Most of the time, you can get a great deal because someone else put down $2,000-$4,000 to drive off the lot. Start in advance as the process takes time and finding the right opportunity is not quick. Before agreeing to the lease, I highly recommend you do a 3 way call with the leasing company. I've had several sellers who insisted they knew the terms of the lease only to find out that they were wrong. Also, make sure you understand the tax situation fully.
Quick turnaround on Tesla lease
I needed to get out of a 3 year lease on a 2020 Tesla Model 3 with only 939 miles on it. Got it for my wife who died 10 days before it was delivered. This was, of course, a real cream puff and would get a lot of attention, but I wanted to get back some of the $7,000 I had put down to get a low monthly payment. The low mileage and low payment made it attractive, so Lisa Feldmann suggested I ask for $3,000 as a down payment. She also suggest their lowest cost listing plan $299. They offer two higher priced plans for those who have no idea how to proceed and they hold their hands through the process. I was really surprised at how quickly (minutes) I had people looking and asking questions. I had something like 15 offers in a few days, and in the end I had three offers of full price. The deal was closed in less than 2 weeks. I'm very happy with Swapalease and Lisa Feldmann--ask for her.

Predatory company/ scam
For starters, I take full responsibility for not fully vetting this company prior to calling in and asking a few questions. I decided to call and request more info because there wasn't very much for me to go off of just on the site. I spoke with Nick. He explained the process and made it sound like it was a quick and easy fix and I just needed to pay 150$. I explained my situation, that I had been taken advantage of when actually entering a lease on my vehicle in the first place with zero explanation of why it entailed other than it would make my payments less than hat financing would be. In my situation at the time I was extremely vulnerable and desperately needed a reliable vehicle for transpiration so I agreed. Needless to say, I decided to get out of the lease due to my new job requiring travel and subsequently more miles on the vehicle than would be permitted through the lease. I asked all of the questions I could think to ask and nick very matter-of-factoy answered. As if this wasn't specific to my case (which is what I truly wanted details on) but as if I was just another customer and he was reading a script. Regardless of that, he explained that he would email me some information and I did give him my email. He also said that he would email me an agreement that I would either have to respond with (agreeeing to) or sign by printing and sending it back. Upon saying this, I was under the impression that giving my credit card info for a deal that ultimately sounded great, was a tentative thing based on my agreement. Needless to say that was not the case! After researching this site and reading the inumerable/ endless bad experiences and claims of fraud, I immediately emailed him back and stated that I did not want to proceed and did not agree to any of it. After weeks of back and forth, I attempted to email a customer service rep and again got nick as a respondee to which he continued to dispute my claims and also offer only to "credit my account for the future." Why would I use a site like this again in the future? Particularly when I incurred no fees and actually made money by going strictly through the dealership i leased with. This is absolutely a scam and I feel like the amount of surprise fees in the end would make it even worse. I lost 150$ for absolutely nothing.
The membership
I have been requesting a refund of this membership since the first week I got it. None of the cars I was interested in were near me. The site wasn't easy to use and ultimately couldn't find any lease to take over! I have emailed Michael Becker at swapalease multiple times requesting a refund. This site is BS and I am going to start blasting them on all social media, BBB, etc., until I get my money back.
Desired outcome: I want a full refund of my membership cost.
service level I paid for not what I received
SAL #1227206
We relocated from San Francisco to New York City in February of 2018. I had a Lexus CT200H, which had 18 payments remaining on it. I went to SwapALease at the suggestion of a friend.
My service associate, Daniela Rodgers, was very solicitous and took me through the process of posting and then transferring my lease. At her suggestion, I purchased the $600 level of service which, ostensibly, put me towards the front of the queue for potential buyers.
After four weeks, and some due diligence on my own, I recognized that my car was a couple hundred dollars higher than most of its competition. I went to Ms. Rodgers and suggested a financial incentive of $200 a month to lower the payment to a more competitive number.
A couple more weeks went by and still no offers. I went to Ms. Rodgers again and the only reply to my concerned email was, "I can't make someone lease your car." I suggested a further lowering of the price by a $250 a month financial incentive.
I received one inquiry. The only communication between Ms. Rodgers and myself at that point was to ask her if I should just deal with the possibly new lessor directly. Her reply was, "Yes, and let me know when you have initiated the transfer." No intermediary help. No suggestions as to how to close the deal.
Had I purchased one of the cheaper options which would have left things more or less completely up to me, I would be fine with the inability of the car to have the lease transferred, but the $600 fee seemed to imply that SwapALease would assist me in getting potential buyers and working with me to transfer the lease.
None of that happened. The fact that Ms. Rodger's had only "I can't make someone lease your car" to say leads me to believe that SwapALease is only interested in getting the fee but not providing the service.
I will never recommend them to anyone looking for a service such as SwapALease.
I would like a refund of the $600 fee I paid.
I'm a user of the service as well but I K ew going in to using the service that there are zero guarantees someone will purchase your lease. As with anything in life you are the driver of your success and they do indicate that it's my responsibility to get the transfer paperwork and do ALL the other work with the potential buyer. No one's going to hold your hand dude so if that's what you thought you were buying then you didn't do your research. You pay swapalease for exposure of your vehicle to potential buyers, that's it. You want to pay more? Get that higher level of exposure? That's what you'll get but again, clearly stated you are responsible for initiating the paperwork involved in the transfer. This doesn't mean you can't call and speak with your helper but they are not going to help you do the work you are supposed to do yourself, they they tell you on the site.

unauthorized credit card charge
I registered on their site out of interest. After completing the registration and then viewing vehicles for approximately 20 minutes I left the sire and never returned. I received a $199.00 charge on my credit card and I never authorized and charge! I do not recall there being any fee to register and I certainly did not see any disclaimers stating that there would be any fee!

I will never use their service again!
Don't deal with SwapaLease, this website is a complete scam and waste of time. They said it usually takes one - two months to sell a car but they never sold mine! Their customer support gave me a hard time, they were very hard to deal with, they were really rude and customer unfriendly.in my opinion everything is bad about this company and I will never use their service again!

ineffective advertising
“I signed up for Swapalease’s Platinum advertising service in early August 2011. The cost was $300 and that covered their “top” advertising until my 2010 Mercedes E350 sold. Results: five prospective buyers responded to the Swapalease Platinum ad to date, none serious. Conclusion (mine) Swapalease Platinum advertising is highly ineffective, would not recommend my friends use Swapalease. It has been a waste of time and money.”

selling my lease
Hello,
Do yourself a big favor and stay away from this company. They will promise that your lease will be sold in no time, they will even give you a special rate if you are first time customer, all they want is for you to list your car on the web site and make money out of you. I paid $250.00 for their special PREMIUM services, and after a month, I have not received a single contact. No only that, when I call this people to ask them why, they said that I should have the ad for a few months, and offer an INCENTIVE to the buyers so they will feel better about getting my lease... how in the world this people think that I have the money to pay buyers an INCENTIVE? HELLO! I am trying to get off my lease because I do not have money to pay for this car, but yes, they want to me to pay the buyers? IS CRAZY.
They also have this no returns policy which it will make it almost impossible to get your money back unless you get an attorney as I am doing right now. So listen to all the people complaining about this company and stay away from them...
Save yourself headaches, your money and your time dealing with these criminals.
i had a very bad experience with these folks. I would suggest to stay away from this company.
failure to deliver services paid for
On August 9, 2011 I entered an agreement with Paul Mulholland, Swapalease, who promised to advertise my car using the Swapalease Platinum program until sold for $300. Mr Mulholland promised to be personally responsible and to use said advertising program to aggressively find a prequalified buyer for me. He has not kept his promise and there have been no referals as of today 12/16/11. Very disappointed with Swapalease broken promises made Mr. Mulholland's.

On March 14th 2012, I entered an agreement with Swapalease for my Car to be advertised on the banner of home page in swapalease.com website. I was charged $300 for this on the same day. After waiting for 24 hours, I was not able to see my car listed on the website where it was promised to be. I tried communicating (email and phone) to agent on March 15th 2012 to find why my car was not listed as per the agreement but could not reach the agent (Noli Holley). On March 17th 2012, I got mail from agent asking me to sent the signed copy of agreement but did not answer my query. On March 20th 2012 I replied back to the agent saying that i dont feel comfortable in signing the document as the agreed service was not provided. I did not hear from the agent for next 2 days and then I sent out another mail on March 22nd letting the agent know that I tried contacting him many times. I requested to cancel my order and refund. On March 23rd, I got response from the agent with screen shot of my car listing on website (not at the place i was agreed on). I replied back with comment that the car was not being displayed at the home page as per the agreement. Then they changed the listing of my car and sent screen shot from the website showing the car being displayed on the home page. I replied back to them saying that I kept looking at that place for last 6 days multiple times in a day but did not see it there. After that I had a communication with supervisor (Andrew Hall) over the phone, but he was not ready to accept the technical issue with their website or poor service provided to their customers. Agent has done little to comply with promises he made. Stay away from this company.
i had a very bad experience with these folks. I would suggest to stay away from this company.
