BUYER BEWARE! I bought a car from Carisma Auto Group, Inc. It was an older car, but it had only one previous owner, low mileage, and no accidents. We had the car for 3 weeks before it suddenly stopped working. Turns out, it needed a new engine, which would cost around 4-5k dollars. I spoke to the owner about it, and he initially promised to help. However, he never contacted me again and basically said that sometimes you get a good car and sometimes you don't. Keep in mind, this was an $8300 mistake that I'm stuck with. I suggest avoiding this place and finding a dealership that actually has a mechanic inspect their vehicles.

We bought a Sprinter Van from this dealer. We flew in from Seattle to Tampa and after a few other options fell through, we ended up buying this van from Carisma Auto Group. The AC wasn't working, so we asked them to fix it. They fixed it by welding an aluminum hose, and we paid $1000 for the repair. But when it rained, the AC started leaking water into the van. It leaked every time it rained. When we got home, I took apart the interior and AC and found the "welded hose" fix. They didn't seal the hose properly, which caused the leak. I had to replace the hose and seal the connections myself. Also, the spare tire was shredded, and they didn't show us that before we bought it. This dealer seems really shady. I want a refund for the AC repair because it wasn't fixed, and I had to redo the work.

On 11/14 I bought a 2010 Land Rover Range Rover with the VIN# SALME1D46AAXXXXXX from Carisma Auto Group, Inc. Turns out, the car had some Radiator Stop Leak Concentrate in it that they didn't tell me about. On 1/5, while I was driving on Interstate 275, the water pump stopped working. The next day, PLW Auto Repairs found out that the Radiator Stop Leak Concentrate in the radiator meant that Carisma Auto Group knew about this problem. Because this business didn't take social responsibility, my safety was put at risk. The car has gotten worse and it's cost me $2,500.00 in repairs, causing financial hardship. Just so you know, I had to replace the water pump and thermostat, and the radiator might need to be replaced too. Right now, the car doesn't work at all.

My complaint is about a lien satisfaction document that I need the business to sign so I can get the title and donate the car. In February , I bought a car from Carisma Auto Group. On the same day, I paid half of the value, and one month later, I paid the rest. By March , I had already paid off the car. There were no issues with the car or the business during that transaction.
However, I have recently purchased another car, and unfortunately, the car I bought from Carisma Auto Group is no longer working. So, I went to the Department of Motor Vehicles to get the title and donate the car. They informed me that I need a lien satisfaction from the business first. They provided me with a document that the business needs to sign (lien satisfaction).
I visited the business on Tuesday, March 10, and the young lady who assisted me informed me that her boss needed to search for the proof of payment in the warehouse. They do not keep documents from before 2015 there. She said she would give her boss two days to find the document. I requested that they try to do it as soon as possible because I am paying for insurance on a car that I am not using. I am in a financially difficult situation, and I have been calling them every day. When they answer the phone, they always say that they are still searching for the document and will call me once they find it.
The problem is that I am the one paying for the car insurance, not them. I am only paying for the insurance because of their mistake. If they had done a good job, the lien satisfaction should already be in the DMV system. However, it is not. I believe it is unfair that I have to pay for their mistake and still have to call them every day just to hear that they will call me once they locate the document. Why do they need any document as proof of payment when it is impossible for me to have kept the car for 11 years if I hadn't paid for it?
