It is 9.55pm Monday 14th October 2019, lights to Carls jnr is on, outside drivethru is turned on. i have just finished attending a movie nz festival evening with guests, and love those Carls Jnr burghers as well as a thick shake. It is raining and I drive into the drive thru.
I put my order in, and repeatedly told that Carls jnr was closed. Not acceptable I replied, and as we in drive thru was told that I was being disorderly. I have to talk loudly one reason cos it is raining and the other is I can't hear too clearly.
I then said that this was like going to KFC and they don't have any chicken. When Carls jnr store is closed they turn the lights out on the main exterior sign, and I mentioned that, and thats when the person turned the lights out. They were closed and cleaning up.
I just want you to know that this does not reflect a company of employees who support the product. I parked outside and watched as a person wearing gray top was served a drink and sat down.
I cannot support a fast food place that will boast of customer service and then short changed by the employees. No complaints about the products, and that's why I came in tonight. No bad exchange by the one who answered, just turn the advertising lights out so we know not to enter the drive thru, and then no need to reply to the speaker. I will not be returning to Carl's jnr in the near future till this event is forgotten. PS There are not many patrons, is this one of many incidents? Is 5mins not enough time to serve a burgher, fries and shake?
