I went thru the drive-thru of my local carls jr. Where I was given bad service followed by disgusing old dry and beyond cold food. And they messed up very simple things on my order and didn't give me but 1 of 3 fries that came with the meals I ordered. I will not be coming back to eat here and will make sure to pass along the warning to friends and family to stay far away from this incompitant establishment.

Went to Carl's Jr. in Fowler, Ca. for lunch. Lately the food has been really bad. This last visit I got a side salad and turkey burger. As I began eating my salad I noticed there was a large piece of of the center of the lettuce head. Not edible; bad thing that's not the first I've form a salad like that from them. And why do you only get two cucumbers and one tomato? To make matters worse the burger was cold and the bun was smashed and stiff. Not good. Not going back.

I took my burger back because of the exact same reason- very soggy lettuce and smashed bun, it tasted like it was reheated in the microwave. When I brought the burger back to the counter to get another one, I noticed that the "cook" was taking about 12 pre-wrapped and cooked burgers out of the refrigerator! I asked if they premade and refrigerated that burgers, but she denied it. No one really spoke very good English- all Spanish speaking and were very hard to understand. The French fries were cold and very greasy. I will never go back to a Carls Jr. again. They have very low standards for a franchise. I used to really like their burgers.
I also had a bad "natural" burger. I was so looking forward to it!, But very bad! Also I ordered a Swiss and mushroom – but got something else? I must agree – it does seem like the food is going downhill! And yes, the comment above – I usually love the center of lettuce – but sometimes the center can be very pulpy and not crisp and juicy.
Seriously, have you never broken open a head of lettuce before? The center part is called the heart and it is as edible as the leaves. I can't believe anyone is this dumb.

The new Carl's Jr commercial is completely distasteful and needs to be removed. I am not the only one who feels this way. I have a two year old that does not need to see a sexually explicit image on a break from our family tv show. Meat being thrown onto the breast of a female does not make me want to go buy the new burger. I'm not overweight, but I'm not as "good-looking" as those girls, and frankly it pisses me off that I am compared to woman like that because of commercials like this one, from a supposedly family oriented restaurant.

What's up with the smutty ad campaign? First, we had a woman feeling up her sweaty body while eating a hamburger. Now we have young women with their butt cheeks hanging out the bottom of their shorts, touching their sweaty cleavage, and hinting at a chick-on-chick thing while the guys watch. This is a commercial for a fast food joint?
I've always been a liberal, live and let live kind of person, and I expect commercials to be stupid and annoying; these take it one step further and are ridiculously vulgar. They put the "junk" in junk food. No thanks.

burgers no longer flame-broiled
the burgers are getting lame - the whole is the "flame-broiled" burger and the last several trips I've made (and there is no longer a close location to my home) I have gotten the warmed up burger patties that sit in those trays like McDonald's uses - GROSS .. I want a FRESH FLAME-BROILED burger patty - that is why I come to Carl's Jr. ! If you ask for it "fresh off the broiler" you get the eye-roll or worry that some nasty person making it will harm your food because they want to do what is easy and pre-cooking the meat and letting it sit there so they can slap it together without waiting for it to cook is what the staff wants

That's unfortunate for you but fast food jobs suck.The people working there don't wanna be there especially for little money.It's also called fast food and it's quicker to give someone a burger already made.I'm sure a lot of customers complained after waiting longer than five minutes for a burger.I agree with you, it should be fresh but it's a fast food place and not a five star restaurant.

I am a worker from carls jr in Johnson drive in Ventura ca 93003 and I just need to say that I have a bad manager that treats the employes bad . She likes to humiliate all of her employes makes them cry, and tells them you are working that hours cause I say and I want I don't care if you can or can't . You are here to work the hours that I want and if you don't like it leave . She doenst appreciate anyone, and the worst of all puts the self esteem of us the coworker down . She has family working there and has favorites like her family, I dont really care if her family works there but it really botheres me that she doenstn know how to talk to us, she bosses us in not a nice way, it's bot me that is saying this it's the entire crew, we need a new manager we are humans and it hurts us when she make us cry and tell us negative things and calls us names she supposed to be a leader and a nice environment to work .

OMAHA, NEBRASKA -- I am from the West Coast and I like carl's Jr. six dollar burgers every now and then. I found Hardee's looks like Carl's Jr stars. we like their famous stars and breakfast burgers.
1. My husband went there to try their breakfast burgers, he likes CArl's ones. Nope, the particular outlet did not have anything like that and the menu was very poor. He did not like that so he left.
2. I was driving by another location and decided to check it out.

Disgraceful Commerical Regarding Selling Southwest Patty Melt
So I waws the only one who ordered the featured combo on the Window. I got a drink cup and got a sweet tea. My daughter does not like Carl's Jr anyway. So we just sat at the table close to the counter. We waited for my food while those who ordered about the same time and later were getting their orders. my number was red number while others' were white numbers. When my daughter saw that she thought something was wrong. Well, I thought maybe a little wait would not hurt.
Then, I saw the man who just ordered abd sat there got his order, it was too much. I just walked to the counter and gave my drink and told them that I was leaving. My daughter asked for refund. The manager? came to find out what was wrong with us. No order for 10 minutes and everyone around me were gewtting their orders and they did not know where my order was. Then, the manager asked me to show my receipt which turned out be hanging behind the counter. I could not show since I never received.
At that time, the man brought his tray and told them that he had gotten a wrong order. He suspected that he had gotten my order. The manager asked me if that was my order. What can I say? I did not want another wait if they cannot straight up our orders. I just asked for refund. I am not take another chance.
Poor man! He ate some fries not knowing that he got my order. He demanded his order and told them that he wanted exactly the same as he saw on the picture up on the board.
He was told that they did not have fries ready. So the manager offered him a big burger to compensate. He demanded he wanted everything at the same time.
I waws very disappointed with this experience and never to Hardee's. Other poeple might like Hardee's better than Carl's Jr. But our hometown Carl's Jr is much better on service and food.

Enough is Enough with the sexually explicit commercials on prime time television that small children are exposed to. My family and several of our friends have sworn off Carl's Jr. It's absolutely ridiculous that a fast food burger chain would have any sexually explicit commercials to begin with. Small children are subject to "soft porn" by a burger joint. Are you kidding me ? I personally would love to see the chain shut down if for nothing else, stupidity.

Wow. I can't believe the FCC allows this "soft porn" on the air. What the heck are they censoring if they allow this? This latest Carl's Jr./Hardee's commercial with Kate Upton is by far the worst and most shocking one yet. Even the new "tamer" version is still demoralizing, objectifies women and this liberal sexual agenda keeps getting on the air for our innocent children to be subjected to. Carl Kartcher would turn in his grave if he knew what was going on. He would have never approved this kind of advertising campaign. I have definitely eaten my last Famous Star.

I agree. I filed a complaint this morning with the FCC. Young children are exposed to soft porn on prime time television. My family and several of our friends have had enough. We also have decided against Carl's Jr and Hardees in the future.
The commercial with Kate Upton advertising the new hamburger is so inappropriate and offensive as a women. Carl JR. has lost our business as a family!
I have already filed a complaint with the FCC, everyone who wants to do something about these dumb commercials, go to FCC website and file a complaint, it's very easy. I of course believe they should rate commercial and previews because both are bad. This way none of them can bypass our set rating limits. :)
