bad/horrible customer service
I came in the restaurant on Sunday, October 28, 2017. There was approximately 5 people ahead of me. It was finally almost my time to order, when there was a gentleman in front of me who was next, which this is when the issue started. All of a sudden the employee's stop taking our order and announced that they would not be taking any more orders until they made an on-line order of 9 Burritos. Myself as well as the gentleman who was next looked at each other baffled as to why it would take all 4 employee's to make burritos, and not continue to take orders of the customers that had already been standing in line for at least 15 minutes. The manager (Salem Miller) who was not customer service oriented at all, shouted to all of us that she was short handed as far as employee's to help, and that they were having a recruitment issues. First of all Chipotle employee situation is not my problem, and I should have not been made aware that there was an issue. The gentleman that was a head of me got so frustrated that he just stormed out of the restaurant, and now the line is out of the door, and there were 2 ladies behind me who said what we were all thinking was to make sure that we filed a complaint. It made no sense that the line is out of the door, and you stop with taking the orders, to have all 4 people you do have working there stop to make 9 on-line orders. I never seen where it takes 4 people to make a burrito. The manage Salem was walking around slamming this, pacing back and forth, and finally decided to help make the burritos. This person did not say she was so sorry for the inconvenience, she did not offer a discount, she did not offer to throw in chips, extra sour cream, cheese nothing. Her attitude was you either stand here and wait, or you can leave it made no difference to her. I come to this particular Chipotle at least 1 a week, if not twice a week. When I asked the manager on how to file a compliant she yell "just go on line, and the pointed to the business cards. If this person was working for me and she treated my customers the way she treated all of us, she would be at the unemployment office on the following Monday. I think what really got me is I asked for extra meat, and as long as waited while we watched her stomp around, that when I got ready to pay, she could have came over to the register and said don't charge her, this is on us for her inconvenience. But know we all had to suffer through and watch her the sour look on her face. I am now faced with the dilemma of where am I now going to get my Chipotle fix, or am I going to say just forget it, and not patronize the restaurant every again. I can get burritos, tacos and and bowls anywhere, but I also want to be treated like a valued customer. I work hard for my money just like everyone else, but I also would never let a customer know that I am having staffing issues because that should not be there concerns. I have to say this was the worst experience I have had in a restaurant in a long time, and it is been a while since I have actually taken time out of my busy day to sit down, and pull out a computer in order to file a complaint. Shame on you Chipotle, Shame on you ! Worst Service right up there in my top 10.

No where did it state that you had to be dressed up in coustome to receive this offer after going in the store and ordering my two burritos the total came up to $16.46 I asked the cashier was the burritos not $3 he was stated no you had to be dressed up to receive the offer. I'm a former employee at chipotle. I've had many problems with my GM because he never treated me fairly or with respect. Today was my last day and I believe that there are a couple things you should know about this chipotle 3353 Corridor marketplace. Store number 2192. One of the main reason I left was because of favoritism, unsanitary and they didn't reheat there food properly in the morning. Protocolo was not being folllowed. I was also told they the served expired lettuce once to customer during the AM shift. Instead of throwing it they decided to use it and take a risk of getting customers sick.

Hello my name is Nayson Brown I'm a former employee who was just notified yesterday that I was terminated from the Red Bank NJ location . I never received a write-up in my couple of months of working at that location. I am currently a high school student and I play football. I gave my general manager copy of my football schedule and she knew that I had football practice every Saturday morning. So my schedule these past two months was Saturday and Sundays from 3:30 to 10:30. I called last Saturday to obtain my schedule and to inform my manager that I was sick and was calling out. She informed me it was okay and not to come in on Sunday too. Now I was informed yesterday when I called that I was terminated for missing the shift. She said that on Saturday when I called out that I was supposed to be in at 10 a.m. I never work Saturday mornings because I have football practice in the morning so I was confused as to why she would even put me on that shift knowing that I had football practice every Saturday morning. My issue is I never received a write-up or anything they just terminated me for missing a shift i never worked before. It's unfair how high school students are being treated and I would like a copy of the employment handbook so that I can seek Legal Council and ill be contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Department of Labor.

I was at the chipotle on glenway crossing in price hill and the lobby was really dirty and trash was over flowing and the workers food station was a dirty mess also, I almost walked out because this was the station where they make your food and the workers were not doing anything about it what's so ever. I got a steak bowl and the steak was really hard and cold. I was going to take it back but I was headed to work and had no time. I'm sorry but that's nasty. I will not be coming back to this location no longer.

My fiancé and I went to the chipotle in pinole last night at 9:40 pm. After standing in line for for a few minutes one of the employees from the kitchen comes and says out loud "Just you guys know where all out of black beans and chicken" how is that possible it's 20 minutes before closing! They clearly didn't want to make more even though there was still more than enough time to do so before closing. Not to mention there was a pretty decent size line of customers waiting. We decided to leave and so did several other customers. Just so you know you guys lost a long time customer.

My son and I always go at least 3 times a week to this chipotle located at 7332 Baltimore age college park md 20740 either for lunch or dinner.
Every time we go we always order the bowl ( veggie or chicken ) We had noticed that they always served little and more little on every visit ( we believe that there is a measurement for the rice, meat, etc ) they always do half of the measurement cups... NOT ACCEPTABLE we are paying for the full price for our meal.
2nd. This store is always felted and dirty, no one cares about the lobby been dirty, trash overflowing from the trash can, the area where the employees are working is completely dirty and disgusting.
I tried to speak to the Manager Mr. Edgar Sanchez about all this concerns and he couldn't be more rude to me and my son. ( Obviously with his reaction he didn't care ( no apologies )
There is definitely a huge problem at this store, The Health department and the District Manager from this location, should stop by and make sure that
things don't continue this way.
I'm extremely disappointed about this place and the only reason we go there is because my son college is around the corner.

Residential when visiting a tent with a not very pleasant experience, because when ordering to add two ingredients, the user indicated that he has dedicated himself and only apologize for the inconvenience. you can indicate that it is possible that it is a restaurant as popular as the same price for a product that does not satisfy the need of one of its customers. I kindly told him that he could offer me a special price, but that he had no connection with the ingredients I wanted and only ignored my request. I left the store feeling that my opinion is that one of their customers was totally ignored. I would appreciate you having to attend to my complaint and improve this aspect of the service being more just with your customers

I visited the chipotle in lincoln, ne on 28th and pine lake road on october 25th, 2017 around 5pm. I placed an online order for a burrito bowl, a burrito, and a side of chips and guacamole. When I arrived to pick up my order, it was not ready, which is fine. However, the gentleman at the register seemed very new, and did not attempt to ring me up for my order or tell me it would be ready soon or anything. I asked him if I could pay for my order at least and he had to ask for assistance to ring in my coupon and charge my card. He told me the food was being worked on, and I waited. When they brought me the bag it was missing the chips and guacamole. I asked for them, and then I noticed that the burrito I had ordered was only about 3/4 of the way wrapped up, with a 1/4 of it just sticking out.
Because I have been a chipotle customer for a long time, I have noticed a decline in the amount of food that comes in my burrito bowl over time. Since the app is so great and gives me options to ask for extra of what I want it's no big deal. However, I am extremely unhappy with the service that I have received not just in this situation, but in the last probably 20 times I have visited a chipotle store in lincoln.in this particular instance, my bowl was so full of ingredients I could not even eat it without taking some of it out before I stirred it up. I understand that I asked for extra, but the amount of food in my bowl was so ridiculous I can only assume that the person making it did this on purpose out of frustration for how many things I asked for extra of.
I work in customer service, i'm a manager of a store in fact. I completely understand how frustrating it is to get over exaggerated, rude complaints from customers when minor things go wrong, which is why I have hesitated to complain in the past.
But when I feel that I can't even place an online order and come in to pick it up without feeling like a nuisance to the employees, I have to say something.

I visited the Chipotle in West Haven, CT on October 22nd at approximately 4:40 (East coast time). I asked the worker for a bowl for here and told him I would like brown rice. I was given a one scoop of rice. I told the employee that was unacceptable and that I would not pay for that bowl. This is the second time I had this issue with this chipotle branch. I was then told that was the serving size. Customer service at this store is very terrible. The portions are unacceptable and the customer service is unacceptable to me and my family. I would like this issue fixed because I love to bring my family to chipotle, however I am second guessing that.

I came to chipotle with a guest tonight and they were busy. I waited patiently and the manager asked what I wanted from the cold toppings although I was physically standing by the meat selections. I asked for sour cream and a number of other things. When we added my sour cream I noticed that it was the texture as water when he poured it on top of my bowl. I inquired about this because I have been to chipotle about 4 times in the last 2 weeks and never experienced this at this location. He insisted that the sour cream is always that texture and proceeded to close my bowl. After opening it and tasting it with a friend we both noticed that it was indeed the texture of water. We requested that a new sour cream be put out and he continued to say that there was nothing wrong with the sour cream. After debating and telling him I was just here yesterday, he rolled his eyes and went to get a fresh sour cream. He did not offer to make my bowl over, instead he handed us sour cream in a side container. I am very unpleased with my service especially from a manager and I have never experienced this issue. I would like feedback along with how this issue will be handled because I am a loyal customer to your company and this was unacceptable.

overcharged and not refunding
I went to the chipotle on court street in Athens Ohio, and I ordered online. When I checked out it said $8.49. Once I went in to pick up my order I was given 2 bowls. I went back in and told them I only ordered one, then I looked at my bank statement. I was charged $53 I was charged for 6 bowls. I was supposed to receive a phone call from the manager over a week ago and I’ve called several times and everyone keeps telling me they are looking into it and I will receive a call the days I call. I never get a phone call back. I threw away my chipotle and the one they told me just to keep. I refuse to ever eat at chipotle again. I’m not sure how hard it is to refund me. If anything give me $45 in cash so I can get reimbursed because the $53 has already been accepted and has gone through so you have my money. So by giving me $45 in cash, the company isn’t losing out on any money and we can break even. The sad thing was I was about to apply for a job there. But I am never ever eating there again. And I ate there a lot. I’m going to make sure I tell my whole family and everyone I know about how terrible the service is.

I am an Employee named Eva Cantu I work at Chipotle in Bakersfield @ 4950 Stockdale Hwy. They always send me home and I am tired of it. They always have an excuse to send me home. Then on top of that the workers are rude and always complaining. I feel very upset I just want to transfer to the one on Mount.Vernon because my mom always wastes gas taking me work and it's like really I'm wasting her gas by having little hours.
This is the nature of retail, especially for hourly employees. They can cut your hours for any reason that they wish, and any other location may do that too.

This weekend I took my girls to Chipotle. The Brentwood store on winton rd in cincinnati is disgusting the rice is hard the steak and chicken is old the corn is watery the chips where chewy and stale. We threw it away it was unedible. That was almost 40$ worth of food. I eat at chipotle at tri county at least twice a week I have never had a company with them everything is spot on. I think Brentwood needs some employees that care about the quality of food before some gets very sick. We will never eat there again and that's where we live so sad.

Hello my name is Emani Moore and I work at the Ralph's near the chipotle on san vicente. Last night on 10-16-17 at around 9 pm I went into your restaurant for a veggie burrito and I was treated horribly by members of your team and by the manager. For starters, the entire counter was dirty and all the ingredients we mixing together. They restaurant had no shells for any burritos and no vinaigrette sauce. the girl on the line did not wear an apron or gloves and my bowl touched her shirt. when I asked her to please put on a apron she refused to make my bowl and told me no. when I asked to speak to the manager, she said her name was darrien and immediately asked me to leave the store. I was insulted at the way I was treated by your so called top performers. she had no idea what the situation was and she saw nothing wrong with the way her store or her team was carrying herself. the manager had horrible customer service and cursed at me. I will never eat at this restaurant again and it was so unsanitary I hope others do not eat there either for their own safety.

I ordered 2 tacos online along with chips and queso for pickup. The tacos came in a bowl of course since it was take out. I was using my fork to eat the toppings out of the bowl and there is a big black long hair wrapped up (possibly cooked with or into) in my chicken! I'd like to receive a full refund (for my tacos), as I am not going to eat them for obvious reasons! Of course, I ate my chips and queso and they were wonderful.
I am complaining about dissatisfaction I had recently with my chipotle bowl that led me to being sick for a few days after.
This past Friday I ordered a steak bowl with rice, beans, vegetables, medium salsa, corn, sour cream, cheese and lettuce. I was very unhappy with it all because the steak was chewy I had to pick it all out. Also it was cold and undercooked. The entire bowl was bland and had no flavor. My bowl was covered in the bean juice. Very upset and disappointed by this. Usually my food is great from it but this one was unable to eat and I feel like I wasted my money on something that I ended up throwing out and also getting sick from for a few days. I didn't eat anything the rest of that day and ended up throwing it all up. The next two days I could barely stomach any food and I am just now feeling back to normal. unauthorized gift card charges / gift card theft by employee
Today I went into the Chipotle located on 229 Cedar Ave. South in Minneapolis Minnesota (55454). I am a student at the University of Minnesota and visit this location at least 3-4 times a week. Today I went in and got to the check out portion of the the line and the cashier took my gift card and took off with it then went to help make burritos in the line. I just got this gift card yesterday for my birthday and when she came back she asked me for payment. I told her I had already paid her and she replied that I hadn't. When I asked her about my gift card she said she tried to run it but it was empty. This can not be true because this was a birthday gift to me yesterday and I had not used the gift card yet. The cashier said her name was "Shaniq." I was so outraged that I told her I would not pay again and that she had STOLEN my money from me by taking my gift card.
Chipotle has been my favorite fast food restaurant all throughout college. But after today's experience. I will not be going back unless this company can do something to correct this wrong because this is absolutely criminal behavior.

I went to pick up an online order and when I arrived my food was still being prepared. I saw 2 bowls and 2 side tortillas on the counter and witnessed one employee take 1 tortilla and give it to a customer who waited until paying to request a tortilla while another employee put the 2 bowls and now 1 tortilla in a bag and hand it to me. I politely told her that I was missing and tortilla, and she paused and gave me a strange look. And then proceeded to tell me that there must me 2 tortillas in the 1 aluminum foil wrapper- while speaking to me in a condescending tone and still giving me a strange look. Since there were many customers waiting, I decided not to argue and just went home. While I know that it's a small thing of not having an extra tortilla, I do not appreciate the service I received and ask they work on not making their customers look like idiots. Thanks.
