horrible, inedible food
I just visited your establishment located on white bear avenue and hwy 36 in Maplewood Minnesota, with my daughter and a friend of mine. My daughter and I have been huge lovers of Chipotle for years. Unfortunately tonight has changed that for us. I spent over $30.00 on 2 fajita bowls, one order of tacos, chips and 2 bottled beverages. But when i describe the food as being repulsive, inedible really, I am sorry to say, i am giving undue credit. The brown rice (because there was no white rice) was cold and stale; there was much much to many cold mushy sqwishy cold sauteed vegetables, by too much I mean a full heaping spoonful on each dish. The chicken was cold and salty, the mild salsa, as well as the corn were more liquid than vegetable, the guacamole tasted rancid, and there seemed to be close to 2 cups of cheese on each dish. I normally can't get myself to stop eating even when full, but tonight I couldn't bring myself to take a third bite.
I feel very strongly that I may possibly not choose to ever eat Chipotle again after this horrible experience.

cold rice/beans and stale chips
On Saturday Oct 14 I had the displeasure of eating at Mexican Grill Boylston MA. Not only was the staff rude and unwelcoming the chips were as hard as rocks and the rice and beans were cold. In addition, the chicken was cold which is clear violation of health codes. If this is not rectified I will report to the state House. This is why people are constantly getting sick from the food because proper health measures aren’t being taken. If the issue was just with try chips it could’ve over looked. But the chicken was cold, which means that it is at a temperature where bacteria can live and grow. If anything upsets my body or anyone else you will be hearing me again. Don’t be sorry, be better!

I went to your Apple Valley location in Minnesota and I've never been this surprised. I had to wait in line for 3 mins during the lunch rush. That's the shortest time I've ever waited in line. The staff was friendly and the food was nothing short of perfect. I talked to the manager Mark and he was very friendly and knew everything about Chipotle! I would give this store 5 stars (6 if I could). The store was clean and out of all the chipotles I've been to this is my favorite!
my order was completely wrong
I ordered 3 bowls online. When I picked up the order and came back to work, I realized that all three orders were completely mixed up and didn't have the correct ingredients. One of the bowl I chose not to put tomatoes because the person has an allergy to tomatoes, and all three bowls had tomatoes. I am writing you today to discuss a issue of concern. I frequent the Chipotle on W. Market St. last night I ordered two chicken bowls. The rice was hard the beans were also. It was also very sloppy when put together. The entire presentation was just terrible. I spend a great deal of money with this company. I ordered a plain bowl with white rice, lettuce, chicken, and cheese, because i have severe food allergies. When i opened my bowl, there were beans, guac, and a couple other ingredients in the bowl, ingredients i strongly dislike. As a result, i had to throw out the entire bowl. I generally love chiptole, however this was an extremely displeasing experience.

But suddenly Chipoltes has made their portions so small I'm ready to boycott them and NEVER eat there again.
Chipoltes is a rip-off.
I used to get a bowl that was so full of food it filled the aluminum tray and pressed against the lid.

I walked into your Chipotle around 5:26pm on October 9, 2017. An inconsiderate lady took my order she was very serious and rude in the manner she was speaking, but I didn't mind I shrugged it off, I completely understand everyone has their days. After she put the rice and beans on my bowl, I noticed that she wiped some beans and rice off the counter with a napkin, it was clear after she did this her gloves were dirty and wet. I was expecting her to have changed her gloves, but she did not. This lady with no name tag, wiped off her same gloves with a napkin and processed to take the next persons order. Soon after this other lady was about to finish my order, without changing her gloves from her previous order, I had to stop and remind her to change them. This is completely unacceptable, unsanitary and atrocious. I guarantee you if these employees were to make themselves a bowl, they wouldn't have used those same pair of gloves. This a manager Javier Ramos, was sharing out portions, he gave me a little bit of rice, I told him that I wanted more rice. I asked to speak with a manager and then he told me that he was a manager. Now I must point out that I am a loyal customer of over 5 years. In those 5 years no one has ever denied me of the amount of rice that I choose. I hope you write this young boy up, because this boy is totally out of line. Please respond back to me A.S.A.P. If you don't respond, i shall be forced to go to Pollo Tropical.

twice in three weeks, online order not even on store's list of orders.
Hello,
I am disappointed to report that in last three weeks, twice, including today, my online order is not ready. And the reason is that the store has not received the order. When I show them the confirmation emil, they prepare the order for me.
If that was the case, why would I go about oredering it online? I hope, Chipotle would immediately look into this and stop this embarrasment for the customers.

The music is loud as all can be. The young lady taking the order could not hear a word anyone was saying. She had stand on tip toes. I had to repeat my order 4 times. Then it was still wrong but I just wanted out of there and paid for it. When I got home the entire dinner was ice cold. The meat was uneatable. The rice was crunchy. I live 5 mins from the store. I love your food I am there at least once a week. This time I was not happy with any it.

I went to chipotle earlier in the day, looked at my bank account, was charged twice. they told me they couldn’t give me a refund over the phone so i now have to drive an hour and a half out of my way bc THEY messed up! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. they wouldn’t give me corporates number. i’m absolutely livid that i now spent $40 at chipotle! & they thought it was hilarious.

Consistently, I have received significantly less food in my burrito bowls when I order online rather than when ordering in-store. Today, I ordered an online bowl and believe to have received half the amount of food as typical (with photo attached). This is not a one-time error but a consistent problem that I believe needs to be addressed. I am not the only person facing this problem but has been repeated across other customers.

My name is Sharina Washington, and until September 9, 2017 I was employed with Chipotle restaurant in La Plata, Maryland. I started my career with Chipotle in June 2015. During this time, I was promoted to Kitchen manager and prior to my termination, I performed duties as a Service manager. My time with chipotle was a pleasant and I enjoyed working with Management and staff. We were a team.
Prior to my selection as Kitchen Manager, I was required to test in certain areas of food preparation, gain knowledge of food temperatures, inventory, deployment charts, etc. and I was also given a Kitchen Manager book to complete. I trained with a Manager who reviewed my work after each chapter and initialed after meeting with me to discuss what I had learned in the chapter and/or if there was further training needed. There was also an on-line training as a qualifications requirement, I passed the necessary criteria to become a Kitchen Manager.
Because our site was short staffed, I was asked to assist in performing the duties as a Service Manager, I readily agreed to this and after a short time, discussed with Management my desire to become a Service Manager full time. Management agreed and I began to perform these duties full time with an increase in pay. There was no formal training for this position, I just moved from one position to another. I managed my staff with a courteous and professional attitude. The only reprimand that I have ever received from Chipotle was a 3-day suspension because of my attendance and that happened in 2015.
On September 9, 2017, I was called into the Managers office and told that I had failed an inspection and that I was being terminated for “Poor Performance.” There are a few things that concern me and I am hoping that you will be able to respond to my concerns. I am not asking that you reconsider and re-hire me, but I would like a detailed account of the documentation that shows my egregious work performance. I fear that this termination will hinder me from pursuing other employment in this field.
On the day in question the inspector was there to observe the operations and from my understanding, found quite a few areas where Chipotle failed. The one staff member who was observed performing her duties was non-compliant, but she was not terminated. I understand that she served food without gloves and was seen picking up food with her hands.
Some of the questions that I answered were incorrect, but I feel had I had proper Service Manager training, I would have been better prepared.
I feel that I was an asset to the Chipotle team and will miss the team spirit atmosphere that was shared amongst the Chipotle team. Again, my request is not to ask that you re-hire me, rather give me a better understanding as to why I was terminated. I spent three years with Chipotle and enjoyed working there, but I fear that this termination will stop me from applying for and being hired for other opportunities that may come my way.

extra charge without a warning.
I bought a carnitas burrito at the store of 3rd and pike in Seattle washington, the girl putting the ingredients asked me for guacsmole, I said yes, the she charged me $2.00 forit, I think she shoukd tell the customers there is an extra charge for it, when I question het about it, she replied, there is a sign on the front of the glass, turned around and ignored me, si nce wdoba do not chsrge for guacamole, I didn't know you guys do, very disappointed.

I just got in from the Chipolte in South Plainfield, NJ where my wife and I purchased Burrito Bowls and Queso with chips. The Queso was very gritty and had no flavor. Our Burrito Bowls were very cold, every element was cold, not lukewarm cold. We assumed in the past it was because we ordered ahead, but in the 5 minutes it takes us to get home the food should not be cold. We find this to be unacceptable. Tonight we ordered 4 bowls half and half. I live 5 minutes away when we started to eat our food was ice cold! I don't mean a lil cold l mean freezing the container was cold itself! The rice was clumped together like it was in the refrigerator and not heated up! There might of been 5 pieces of meat! The chips were stale but my guacamole was good!The wait was un real the staff just did not care yes it was 9:30pm next time just lock the doors if you don't want to continue to work! I spent over $30 for food not edible we know you can't heat up sour cream and cheese! I will be calling the store about my complaint first thing tomorrow!
steak burrito bowl
I purchased a steak bowl for lunch today and found the steak to have a strong microwaved taste. As I continued eating the rice and beans were still on the crunchy side. It was very disappointing considering the price. I understand the need to try and cut costs wherever possible but warmed up steak and undercooked rice and beans is not the way to do it.
I am complaining about the whole store
This was my first experience at this location the line was ridiculously long. It took 15/20 min to get to the front of the line.The service was Extremely slow! the young lady putting the cheese n other stuff on was extremely rude and should not be in customer service.The cashier was pleasantly nice and was the highlight of the experience.The cook should be fired for the meat they provided there customers. I was highly upset and rated my food I could not believe the grade of meat received I felt like I needed to inform corporate about this because it was ridiculous.Called and spoke with a manger she said I could come back for a refund or a new order I will be getting a refund and never return.

I was in line for 10 mins at this Chipotle. While my bowl was on the food ordering area we were waiting for lettuce. It took the workers more than 5 mins while my food was just sitting there. While 5 different workers reached over my bowl getting other people's. I ask for a new bowl because I would like it hit the worker dramatically threw my bowl out and said go back to the beginning of the line. Another worker made me a different bowl. I talked with the manager afterward saying that is unsanitary having my bowl sit there for 5 mins with people hovering and reaching over it. I also mentioned the bad customer service. All he said was, I am sorry and thank you for your comments.
I enjoy chipotle but this was the worst experience I had. I spend a good amount of money here and should not be treated with poor costumer service. Please get in touch with me and I hope we can solve this in a productive way. I will be happy to talk.
