Chrysler Extended warranty refund

My name is Thomas Arthur Ohm

722 Hillcrest Circle

Gordonville, Texas 76245

2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Vin# 1C4RJECG6HC837629

I requested a refund in August of 2022. I was told it would take up to 90 to a 120 days to receive. I started calling after the first of the year and was told a check was issued in September. They investigated and determined the check was lost and said they would reissue a check. Now almost a year later after being told twice a check is on it's way today I was told no check has been issued. I asked to speak to a manager but was told a supervisor would call me in a matter of hours. Well 3 hours later I haven't heard from anyone. I am at my wits end and need a response.

Desired outcome: Please issue my refund. I am afraid that mailing a check has not worked I will be glad to provide my bank information for direct deposit. Perhaps even a check can be sent to the dealership for my pick up.

Chrysler My dodge pro master particulate filter

Not dealers fault or mine. corporate office is in fault blames everyone else but themselves for not getting the part. Has had my vehicle will be going on 2 months.Iam paying 50.00 a day to rent a van for my business. Corporate refuses to pay for my rental, so my company is taking a painful loss for their mistake. This should be a recall on this vehicle. But god for bid doing it now, there would not be any pro masters on the road.

Chrysler 2020 RAM

Remote start doesn't work this is the third time they tried to fix. This time dealer has had it since May24, that's 42 days. They said they can't figure it out and Chrysler can't or won't tell them how to repair it. Customer service ( Lonie ?) speaks very broken English hard to understand. gave me case # [protected] and someone will call me with in 48 hrs. 2 weeks later still no call. Called him 3 times no answer leave message NO RETURN CALL. Called asked for someone else. Again, more hard to understand broken English. He said I need to speak with (Lonie) and he would leave him a note. But Lonie doesn't return calls.

1st time they said they replaced truck battery. Worked for a short time 2nd time it also was reading low voltage on dashboard. They left it running all day in their lot to recharge battery and told me to drive it to Scranton Pa. and back ? PS. A/C has always been poor. They said its boarder line in the 60's Thank you Thomas Grobsmith [protected]

Desired outcome: repaired or replace truck.

Chrysler 2016 dodge ram 1500 fuel pump recall

My fuel pump has been failing for a year now. It was minor at first, but now it has become dangerous as it completely loses power when pressing the gas pedal and attempting to increase speed to go into traffic. I have become fearful of driving it but have no choice as it is my only vehicle for work. After learning the fuel pump was recalled because it is dangerous, I have tried to get it replaced. I have called several local and non-local dealerships and every one of them stated the part is not available. How is this possible? I am driving around in a vehicle that is known to be dangerous due to an important part that is defective, yet there is no remedy for it except to replace it with another defective part. Something NEEDS to be done about this! Chrysler/Dodge NEEDS to remedy this, or they are callously allowing their customers to drive around in malfunctioning vehicles with no recourse.

Desired outcome: Replace my fuel pump or exchange (no cost to me) my truck for a safer truck that isn't malfunctioning.

Chrysler Chrysler lifetime warranty

In the fall of 2008, I purchased a 2009 Chrysler Town & Country trading in a previous Chrysler minivan. The biggest incentive to purchasing this vehicle was a lifetime warranty on the powertrain. It turned out to be the best car I’ve ever owned and is still a good car with the exception of the following. Traveling from Florida to Michigan, I incurred a problem in South Carolina. I had the car towed to a Chrysler dealer feeling that if it were a transmission problem and because the vehicle had a lifetime warranty on the powertrain a Chrysler dealership was where it should be. However, when the service man entered the vin number, he said there was no indication of the lifetime warranty, so I called Chrysler customer service and was told that the lifetime warranty expired. I questioned how a lifetime warranty could expire but without further explanation was rudely told that’s how it is is. All maintenance on this vehicle has been performed by Chrysler dealerships; three in Michigan one in Florida. Several times during my ownership when it needed maintenance, the dealership service person would always remind me that I had a lifetime warranty on the powertrain. I do not know what to do at this time. First, I called customer service. I was rudely told there nothing I can do about it as my lifetime warranty expired sometime ago. I then talked to a service person at our local Chrysler dealer here in at Michigan and was told that is ridiculous for them to tell me that my lifetime warranty is expired. So I called them again and this time the representative said they would research it and gave me an incident number which is [protected]. I have not heard anything further in regards to this lifetime warranty. I have called back several times only to be told that they are looking into it.

I am at my wits end. I am here in Michigan and my car is stranded in South Carolina and I can’t get any answers in regard to my lifetime warranty. I’m 81 years old and it’s very strenuous on me.

Desired outcome: Honor the lifetime warranty

Chrysler New 2022 dodge ram rebel gt is a dud

Hello

This is my 2nd email to complain about my Dodge Truck.

First email sent Feb 11, 2022 Case ID# [protected]

My name is Rod Everson and I am writing to inform you of my disappointment in my recent purchase a 2022 Dodge Ram GT truck. I purchased this vehicle from AllRoads Dodge in St. Marys Ontario on November 3rd, 2022 brand new. Imagine my disappointment when on January 31st, the truck didn't start with the remote. Then when I got it started, the Service Shifter lights came on and then every light on the dash was blinking, then the Check engine light stayed on, it would rev way up and then misfire all the way down. Would not go into gear, once in gear, it was like someone pulled the drive shaft out. It would not move in 2 wheel or 4 wheel. So I shut it off, got it restarted, and then got it into reverse. All the time the check engine light was on. Called for Flatbed to come pick it up and take it the dealer. Dealer completed a soft ware update and returned truck next day. On February 2nd, I was on my way to work. I got about 6 Km from home and the same thing happened, the lights went on again. The dealer had told me about "Limp mode" so I turned around and came back home losing a days pay. It did not go into Limp mode so I was able to get the truck to the Dealer again. Dealer completed another soft ware update again and returned truck to myself. On February 11th, I was going out so I tried the remote start and nothing. Tried to remote start it again and ended up going out to the truck itself. Tried to start it myself and the Service Shifter lights came on and all the dash lights came on. It was almost like my battery was drained. It took me about 12 times to get the truck to go. I couldn't get the truck into reverse or out of park. Obviously an issue, so I called for a Flatbed to come pick it up and take it back to the dealer.

The truck currently has about 4,700 km and should not be acting this way. I cannot express my disappointment in Dodge right now. I have bought 5 different vehicles from Dodge in the last 10 years and have convinced family and friends to buy Dodge but at this point, I will feel that I have purchased a dud. The Dealer does not know why it doing this and is waiting for Chrysler Tech to get back to them with an answer. So now the truck is being kept by the Dealer so that the tech person can drive it around waiting for it to happen again. Concerns I have: Driving at 80+km and the truck goes into "Limp Mode" I would have trouble pulling over due to limited or no power. Or sitting a red light and not being able to go because of "Limp mode" and end up getting rear ended. Or the biggest fear is driving where there limited Cell service available which I do travel North several times a year and possibly end up being stuck on the side of the road which no Dodge dealer for 100 km. I am very disappointed that I've invested $100,000 in this new vehicle that has been returned to the Dealer 3 times in 3 months for issues that should not be happening. As stated I have purchased several Dodge vehicles and at this point, I wish I had never bought this truck and will no longer be recommending Dodge to friends or family. This has left such a bad taste in my mount, I'm considering going to Ford truck. I am hoping for a resolution to restore my faith in Dodge. Please advise how this can be accomplished. I have no problems going to the Media as I have read on the internet this appears to be a common issue with Dodge vehicles recently. And if required, I will go the Legal route. I do have a CASE ID [protected]. Would appreciate a call to rectify this issue. Regards.

Follow up Email sent today June 15, 2023

I thought I had the issue resolved since writing in February but here I am writing again regarding the same issue.

Monday June 5th, when I went to go to work - the Service Shifter lights came on and then every light on the dash was blinking. (I have pictures) I called the dealer and took it over. The dealer advised me that Dodge had just issued a

bulletin about a 'connector' defect and she was going to replace it on Wednesday. On Wednesday after Dealer put in new connector, I brought the truck home. Thursday June 8, I go out to go to work and same thing. All the lights came on. I was in a course that day so I wasn't able to leave. On my way home, the lights were on but I had to stop to get gas (to take vehichle to dealer) and when I got back in the truck, the lights were off including the check engine light. Fast forward to to June 15th, go to go to work this morning, about 5 km driving, the lights again came on. Got to work, shut off the truck, restarted, the lights were off. Truck is now at dealers again. Again very disappointed with Dodge and will be seeking legal assistance as I cannot have a vehicle that is not reliable. As stated above, I've purchased 5 new Dodge vehicles in the past and this is the first one that I had trouble with. I'm concerned that its a Lemon. I'd like to know what Dodge is going to do about this issue. Please call me to discuss. [protected]. Thanks Rod Everson

Desired outcome: Either the truck correctly or a buy back so I can obtain a reliable vehicle.

Chrysler 2022 Jeep Compass

Really I love my Jeep. 1st time jeep owner.

We have a problem that is a bit strange.

The car was parked in our carport for approximately 5 days without being driven.

Got in and started out and it was skipping really bad so took it straight to the dealership for repair thinking for sure it would be a warranty repair. They called a day later with bad news. A mouse had eaten the wires, (I have pictures).

Not only destroyed the wiring the computer had to be replaced. It was not a warranty issue so cost us $1200. (Our auto insurance also does not cover damage from rodents.) This was all in January. Last week we discovered mouse droppings inside the car. Did some research and found out the twiring is wrapped in a product that is made from soy. (like made for soy beans)

We put moth balls under the hood and bought the peppermint wiring spray. Now we have a dead mouse someplace in the car and can't find it.

We are looking for help in solving this problem other than trading cars at a loss because we put a pretty sizable down payment on it. The car is parked until the dead mouse odor gets out.

Desired outcome: Paying for the repair bill.

Chrysler Jeep repairs

4/22/23 - Brought 2013 Jeep Wrangler in because it was burning oil. It was determined that the cylinder #6 had no compression so the work was done to rectify the problem which totaled over $3000; upon picking my vehicle we checked the oil, and it was down about 2 quarts, we notified the technician, and he took care of it and apologized.

A couple of days later the check engine light came back on and I called, and Rick asked me to bring it back in. So, I did on 5/10/23.

5/10/23 - It was determined that I now needed an engine pump and thermostat which cost me an additional $1280.00. I was also told that I need 2 catalytic converters and the engine light may come back on because of it.

The engine light did come back on the same day but after driving it a few more days, I noticed a strong gas/fume smell (which was not present before I brought it in). also, I have to replace at least 2-3 quarts of oil every 1-2 weeks which is worse than before I had it serviced.

6/12/23 - I returned and asked to speak to the service manager, for which I was pointed over to Marc Williams and his first words were "What can I help you with", I immediately detected a manager that has no Customer Service Skills, I said Good Morning (which is how I should have been greeted) and begin to tell him my issue with having to return three times for the same problem and he showed not a bit of emotions or eye contact in regards to my issue. He acted as though I was bothering him, he then told me that it could another issue and that it would have to be checked out again and told me that Rick would write it up and went on about his business after taking the paperwork and keys to Rick, I didn't get a "have a good day" nor an apology for my inconvenience, all I got from your service manager was his unprofessional demeanor/non-caring attitude to a customer that has spent over $5000 for repairs that didn't fix the problem...Now, I ask you, who should have the attitude?

I understand, if Mr. WIlliams was having a bad morning, we all have them, but to take it out on the customer is not a good representation for the Chrysler brand, because I've had a bad month due to having to keep taking time out of my busy schedule to bring my only means of transportation back for the same problem has been very frustrating and stressful for me.

Desired outcome: I just want my Jeep fixed the right way and also some good customer service along with a little empathy during this bad experience. If Mr. WIlliams cannot handle this request, please refer me to another dealership that can.

Chrysler Service writer I think they are called

On June first I was driving my jeep when the jeep started to slow down then all the lights on the dash lite up. abs system started across the screen then traction control, service 4 wheel drive, service air bag, service shifter ect.. no power steering accelerator would come and go. made it to the dealership shut the vehicle off turned it back on nothing flashed on the screen but engine light still on Dealership looked busy so I went to AutoZone and had it checked and it came back as Anti lock brake control module so I went back to the dealership and couldn't get an appointment until June 7,2023. showed them the paper from AutoZone. I done some research on the problem so took the positive cable off to reset the module. The engine light went. Went to the dealership on June 7,2023 they dove it around for a little bit and the engine light came back on. Advance Diagnostic came back as Anti lock brake control module and two other codes. 77 codes loss of comm and bus code. They found evidence of a mouse under fuse box and in cabin filter. They said they repaired a wire under fuse box. They said it was chewed on but not into just the outside coating. So I spent 4 hours there for them to tell me that they don't know what the problem is. So they charged me $241.99 for advance diagnostic testing and to replace filter. Told me to keep driving until it got worst. The following day I drove it and about quarter mile down the road it all started again. Went back to the dealership they told me they cant do anything until June 19,2023. Mechanic's going on vacation. I asked about a rental they told me no to drive it until then. I dont feel like its safe to drive so we discussed the rental they said it wont be until Mon. June 12,2023. that I would have to pay for. Told them the jeep has a life time warrnty. They said the warranty didn't cover chewed wires from a mouse but they cant tell me where the wires are that are chewed on by a mouse. They didn't address the issue with the anti lock control module. I dont think its safe to drive. I do have to work its the only vehicle that I have. Greenbrier Motor company is the dealership 9841 seneca trail s Lewisburg Wv. 24901. Dont feel like they care about there customers.

Desired outcome: My jeep fixed also a refund. They didnt fix the problem but charged me to sit there for 4 hours

Chrysler Mopar

My 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee was under MOPAR extended factory warranty from Chrysler. This warranty covered everything bumper to bumper.

In March, my engine started to shake and the check engine light came on. I immediately took my car in for servicing at Bayside Chrysler in Queens, NY. The dealership informed me that my engine needed to be replaced. This was a shock to me because I serviced that car every 3 months from Bayside. How could the engine just blow?

The dealership told me that Mopar and Chrysler would need to inspect the original engine to see why it failed before replacing.

I did not receive an update until May... this was over 2 months renting cars to get to and from work and to pick up groceries.

When I received the update from MOPAR, they denied my claim. DENIED!

Saying the engine was driven at an overheated state and therefore it is my responsibility. This was ridiculous and I was beyond frustrated. I am the driver of a car, not a mechanic. The hood never smoked and the temperature gauge was always within the normal allowance. How am I supposed to know my engine is overheating if the car doesn't tell me?

To continue this nightmare, the dealership said I could have my motor-less vehicle back or pay out of pocket for $14,000 to have it fixed.

MOPAR should have covered my cost as my car was under warranty. I will NEVER buy CHYLSER or any affiliated brands with MOPAR. I am beyond outraged and completely disappointed. I am out of pocket now $14,000 plus all my rental car expenses. MOPAR and CHRYSLER need to rectify this immediately!

Desired outcome: Chrysler to reimburse the amount to replace my engine: $14,000

Chrysler 2019 jeep rubicon parts and recall

Issue #1 - Door hinges bubbling paint. Working with dealer and Jeep customer care. 2 1/2 loooong years trying to get this fixed with dealer (bonnoville and sons Manchester, NH), they refered me to Jeep Customer care to get the repairs paid for. Bonnovill and thier off site auto body shop set up an appointment last year in June, and then the shop and bonnoville had an argument and canceled my body work. Jeep Customer Care is telling me to find a body shop and pay for it myself and put another claim to try to get reimbursed. No information on if they will reimburse me or pay for a rental. I have 3 Claim numbers with JCC and NOT have been resolved. No success still waiting for resolve.

Issue #2 - Clutch SAFETY RECALL. Bonnoville and sons telling me there are no parts for the past 5 weeks. I keep calling and get transferred to an answer machine and never get called back! horrible customer service.

This needs to be resolved now!

Desired outcome: Fix doors and recall ASAP with a rental.

Chrysler Trunk rotting from the inside out

Purchased a Chrysler 300 S 2016 July. Purchased car to keep till the wheels fell off. Found some rust on the trunk by the bumper. Took it to Laprade Customs they looked it over and found the trunk is rusting from the inside out. How is this possible since the trunk does not leak? The car is garage kept and washed every week and waxed 3 times a year. Can provide pictures of the immaculately kept vehicle.

Desired outcome: Trunk provided by Chrysler, we will pay to have it installed

Chrysler False advertisement

False advertisement by Mathew Chrysler of Mount Vernon, 500 Harcourt Rd. Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 [protected]. When I arrived at the dealership I talked to a salesman named Steven and he told me I would need more money down and a cosigner when the flyer I got in mail said 0$ down.$3500.00 minimum trade in. I believe this is discrimination against lower income people and are trying to sell loans for banks with a kickback. This gives Chrysler a bad name in Knox County, Ohio. I can not recommend Mathew Chrysler to anyone for any reason.

Desired outcome: stop the false advertisement

Chrysler Spare parts

The battery light on my 2016 Jeep Renegade keeps coming on and the dealership is telling me Chrysler Jeep is sending them bad spare parts. Turned vehicle in to Lalonde, Imlay City, MI. on/about 3/10/23. Check engine light was on and there was a recall. Vehicle was picked up on 3/23/23, after 6 pm, and while driving home battery light came on. Returned Jeep to Lalonde on 3/27/23 with battery light still on. Jeep was finally ready for pick up on 5/15/23, 7 weeks later! Lalonde told me they had to order several ECM-PCM's from Chrysler Jeep because they were defective. I have driven the Jeep everyday since 5/15/23 without any issues. This morning, while driving to work the battery light came on again and the Jeep is back at Lalonde. Is there a problem with spare parts for the Jeep Renegade?

Desired outcome: I would like the battery light to stay off while driving in my Jeep Renegade

Chrysler Purchase of a used vehicle

I purchased a 2022 Ford F-350 with 4002 miles on it from Nyle Maxwell. After leaving the dealership the service stabilitrack light came on. I drove back to the lot and called George, my salesman, out to see it. He went to the service manager and they both assured me it had to only be a sensor and Ford would cover it. It had been "Nyle Maxwell Certified" through them and they personally guaranteed that the truck was in perfect working order. Took it to Ancira Ford the next Monday and they informed me everything was "loose" on the front end and quoted me $1800 to fix it. I called Nyle Maxwell the next day and talked to J Alvara who assured me someone would contact me about the issue. As I waited the truck started violently shaking in the front end and I had no choice than to take it to my local mechanic. He called me within 10 minutes of dropping the truck off and asked if the truck had been in a wreck. The Carfax stated that it was only in a minor fender bender which George, my salesman, said was only cosmetic. Turns out the truck had been in a serious accident on the drivers side with pictures to prove the axle was bent, steering components were loose, and the brackets broken. The mechanic quoted me $9200 to bring the truck back to Ford factory specs. I spent hundreds of dollars to get the truck road worthy all while being forced to work with this truck everyday without any other option. After 5 weeks and multiple calls to the dealership Cody Gist, the Sales Director, finally got back to me. He told me there is nothing they could do and that his mechanics could not have missed that much extensive damage during the "certification" process. I would not trust this dealership on any vehicle purchase, new or used, after going through this awful experience. After extensively arguing back and forth with Cody Gist he finally offered to buy the truck back for the price I paid. He refused to reimburse me for the repairs made thus far or for the labor to return the truck back from the modification that had to be made so it could be used for work purposes (grill guard/service bed/etc.). He finally gave me another option and agreed to pay $3000 towards my $9200 bill. I feel that I was mislead into buying a wrecked truck without disclosure or that the mechanics that certify the used vehicles do not do their due diligence. I would avoid this dealership at all cost. I truly believe that major changes and training should be required before they sell a vehicle ever again. It seems morals are completely lost at this dealership.

Desired outcome: Pay for the repairs.

The best story so far is the Vehicle still under warranty and I am not sure if I need to pay for this service.
