Chrysler Major damage to nissan rogue

My name is Andria Lewis and on Monday January 23, 2023, I brought my vehicle, a Nissan Rogue, in for a scheduled appointment at Downsview Chrysler to be serviced because the tailgate would not open. At which time I was provided the use of a rental until my vehicle had been returned to me.

Wednesday, January 25, I was advised that my vehicle was sent off to Nissan to be diagnosed and I would need to pay out of pocket $540 + HST to have the issue fixed because I do not have warranty coverage. I asked what happened to the Extended Warranty I bought and was told that I had a "Third Party" warranty which does not provide such coverage. I became hysterical, objected to the payment and requested the return of my vehicle. I went back to my documents and sure enough, my extended warranty was Chrysler's, FCA Gold Plan, because I purchased a "Used Vehicle" in 2021 from Downsview Chrysler.

Thursday, January 26, 2023 I received a phone call from one of the employees, she was involved in an accident with my vehicle and there are major damages. I should stay in the rental and not be worried about anything because her manager stated they have taken responsibility and the dealership insurance will take care of both the rental and the accident. I proceeded to ask where the vehicle was and if the police were called to the scene of the accident. I was told NO, the police were not called to the scene of the accident because her manager had my vehicle towed from the accident scene and dropped off at Auto Fix Body Shop on their property.

The following day, Friday January 27, I went to the dealership and I spoke with the manager. As I entered his office one of the first things he mentioned he heard a lot about me and I am one of their top " Most Valued Customers ". In a nutshell, after speaking with the manager, I was told Chrysler is not responsible for the accident and I should reach out to my insurance and file a claim under my name to have the damages taken care of. With this type of treatment, is this the way a manager treats one of their "Most Valued Customers"?. Bear in mind, I have never been contacted by the manager to speak about the accident. All information I received was given to me by the employee who was involved in the accident. I was also informed by the employee because I am the owner of the vehicle, her manager says I need to accompany her to the collision reporting centre to which, on our arrival, I was told I had nothing to do with the accident, therefore, I have no need to be there. Please bear in mind, the accident was reported to the collision centre one day later, Friday January 27, 2023.

I made a deposit of $200 for the rental which was returned Monday February 6. Time went by and I did nor receive my refund. I later learned Enterprise kept my deposit because Chrysler advised that I am responsible for the payment. And to add to that, I was sent to Collections for an outstanding balance.

I also received a letter from Downsview Chrysler cc'd to their Barrister advising that my vehicle should be removed from their property or it would be ticketed and towed by the City of Toronto and retrieval will be at my expense even though I were not aware of all the events that happened before the accident was brought to my attention.

My vehicle has been sent to the body shop for repairs over $7000 in damages leaving me with a depreciated resale value, an accident registered against me that I had absolutely nothing to do with and a recognized dealership that failed to take responsibility for their actions. My vehicle does not have any value left for me to enjoy! My heart is broken! This is pure torture and abuse! And guess what, the manager keeps on selling vehicles gracefully for the past three months while I suffer as a "Single Mother". I work really hard to buy this vehicle and it should not be taken away from me in such a dreadful manner.

I should not be held responsible for an accident I was not involved with! I need Downsview Chrysler to take responsibility and held accountable for their actions. I did not bring my vehicle in with not even one scratch on it. It is unfair to be returned to me of a lesser value. I need a resolution. This is totally wrong and unacceptable.

Desired outcome: I need a resolution offered to me.

Chrysler Electrical issues 3 days after buying brand new and still going strong

I purchased a brand new 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 truck and have had electrical issues from the 3rd day I bought it till now. I paid $31,000 for a truck and three days later I was at Dodge Land of Columbia SC explaining the strong burning wires smell. They wanted to keep the truck for a few days to go over it, I said of course. Well I was upset as they didn’t even want to give me a loaner car, how professional is that. They kept the truck a few days and told me they couldn’t find anything. I took it back multiple times and made multiple phone calls to them and yet nothing ever got resolved. Attached are some of the work orders I got from Dodge Land in SC. I know there is an electrical problem, here are some of the things that have been happening.

1 Outside roof back light fails to go out sometimes, I have to disconnect the battery so I don’t kill it.

2. ABS sensor came on yesterday

3. Cruise Control went out yesterday

4. Power steering has acted up multiple times over the years.

5. I was driving with cruise on and went to pass another vehicle and the entire back end of the truck made a huge noise and it felt like the entire back end of the truck fell off.

6. {Most spooky of all, the gages on the dashboard move and bounce around and there is NO KEY in the ignition}

I have owned a few Dodge vehicles in my 40+ years of driving and I have never had a vehicle act like this, I think the truck is possessed and I’m VERY concerned it’s going to catch fire one day. I want this vehicles diagnostics checked (and fixed), my recall y-55 fixed, and I don’t expect to pay a dime. $31,000 is an awful lot of money for a total lemon and I am not rich by any means. I want to thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. last 8 numbers of VIN GG113656. I have all the written work orders from Dodgeland of Columbia with all my electrical issues yet nothing has ever been corrected. PLEASE HELP ME

Desired outcome: I want a diagnostics check run without any of my money up front for it. After all you sold it to me that way brand new I shouldn't be responsible to pay up front.

Brand new 2023 Dodge Ram 1500 with 1900 miles on OD. Sudden unintended acceleration into a parking lot light pole. Happened April 22 2023. Chrysler legal department has the case. I’m not expecting a favorable resolution. Not floor mat issue nor mistaking accelerator for brake. Will update.

Chrysler 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L

I purchased this car in 2018 and fell in love with it. I realize that it has recalls however when I was told it would take 5 hours and COVID hit, there was no way I was going to sit in a service center for that long. I was in the city at the time but I live in a rural area in another state. I talked to two people, the only ones at the service center nearest me, 60 miles away...a young girl and a young man...about fixing the recalls but there was nothing to making an appointment. They were just standing in the place talking. There were no cars in the bays and they neither wrote down a date or time so I didn't feel comfortable taking the car there. The dealership I purchased it from is a 3 hour drive from me and neither the service center nor the dealer ever have room in their voice mailboxes that the receptionist sends me to. No one ever answers their phones. Reviews online show it to be inadequate as well. But the car was running fine so I thought perhaps the recalls weren't necessarily related to this particular car. There were no troubles with the areas listed in the recall list.

Nearly two months ago, at the end of February, I went to start my car in the garage and it wouldn't start. Mileage is currently 24,470. I called Chrysler Customer Service and she told me the nearest service center was in the neighboring state which is a 2 hour drive over snowed-in mountain passes. (Apparently Chrysler doesn't recognize the center 60 miles away any longer.) Another route won't be open until after the middle of May. So I texted the dealer who's number was still in my phone to see if he could help. He told me it was just the battery and that they only last 3-4 years. So I spent $300 on a new battery at NAPA and a friend who refurbishes old cars helped me change them out. The positive battery sensor wouldn't tighten and remained moveable but since there was contact I tried to start the car. Something inside that red box on top of the battery threw a large spark but the car still wouldn't start.

I still have a month to wait for any attempt to get my car to a "real" Chrysler Service Center and considering it is so far away, if I can even find a company that will tow it there I don't know that it will be affordable.

I did extensive research before purchasing this car. I read that it was considered one of the most reliable and considering my location and need to drive to my mother's home 3 hours away and back, that seemed to fit my needs. I am seriously disappointed in everything related to Chrysler now. The so-called service centers in my area are worthless. The car is worthless in its current state and Customer Service was worthless. There is no help at all when in this predicament. The entire car should have been recalled and replaced now that I learned online that the 2018 model is a disaster overall and the worst of Pacifica production.

Desired outcome: I would like reimbursement for towing or towing to be arranged by Chrysler to the Service Center at the end of May when the roads are cleared.

Chrysler Chrysler Pacifica

I have own 3 Chrysler van and a jeep grand cherokee.

Back in 2021 had similar issue complaint # is [protected].

My 2018 Chrysler Pacifica has 67,500 miles. This time I drop my van off on 3/24/23 with the check engine light on. I was told the coil ignition coil, battery and spark plugs had to be replaced (my personal warrant covered $238.20 and I paid $1,022.09). Got my car back and had to drop it off the same day had to replaced the injector, insulator and isolator (my personal warrant covered $1,089.36 and I paid $1,237.09). Had to drop the van off again the next day. This time it was the AC circulator motor (my personal warrant covered $428.75 and I was responsible for $45.68 which the dealership covered). Didn't even take the van home with a noise complaint this time it was Arm lower 2x (my personal warranty covered $1,932.00 and I paid $0). Tooke the car home and guess what the check engine light came on. The van has been at Arrigo Margate since 4/14/23. For a car with only 67,500 miles I am truly dissapointed in Chrysler I have paid $2,259.18 and my warranty paid $3,688.31. I can not believe that Chrysler could not cover some of thecost.

Desired outcome: For Chyrsler to stand up for their product and refund me the money spent fixing the car barely out of warranty.

Chrysler Poor customer service

I'm not one to usually complain. I don't write bad reviews, but I think Chrysler should be aware of this. I'm in the Air National Guard, I work hard for my money (as I know all honest people do), I sacrifice a lot of time away from my family and for our country and when I pay for something that I feel I shouldn't have, I get a little frustrated. My husband and I will never by a Chrysler product again because of this journey. My 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee was in the shop three times for the same issue: my brake lights would stay on and you could start my jeep without pushing on the brake pedal. Being a mother of two young boys, this is a huge safety issue for me. On 28 February 2022, the dealership replaced the brake switch and reprogrammed the brake switch - $304.54. That didn't fix the issue, same thing would happen, my brake lights would stay on and you could start the jeep without pushing on the brake pedal. 16 May 2022, the dealership traced all wires and found internal issue in module (They had my vehicle for a week!) Replaced ABS module - $673.61. Issue was still not fixed. 23 May 22, dealership removed and replaced ABS module and programed module (warranty). ABS causing brake light to stay on, dealership started a star case and star recommended the HCU be replaced due to an integral brake system pressure sensor that may be reading incorrectly. They did this and it fixed the issue. They had my Jeep for another week and didn't charge us for the fix because they felt so bad. Later Z48/NHTSA 22V-426 recall was issued (I think my case is one of the reasons it was issued)! Guess what the recall is for - an HCU/ABS module that falsely reads pressure which causes the brake lights to illuminate as well as allows the vehicle to start and shift out of park without the brake pedal being depressed. We paid $978.15 for something that was covered under the Z48 recall and when I submitted a case on www.fcarecallreimbursement.com it was denied. Very unhappy customer. I own a 2020 RAM 1500 which I bought new, this truck has mopar fitted rubber mats which the truck was sold with, over the past 12-month I have only driven this truck over weekends as I have a company truck I drive for business. (Approximately 5k miles)

In mid-February 2023 I noticed excessive condensation in the truck, this was largely evident during weather changes, not knowing what it could be I recently took the vehicle to Northwest Chrysler in Houston to investigate. They found the cab vent needed to be replaced, the necessary repairs were done according to the dealership, and I took back possession of the vehicle. I noticed about 5 days later that there was once again condensation build up inside of the car indicating that there was still water penetration into the vehicle. The smell of mold was present in the truck. Upon returning the vehicle to Northwest Chrysler they have found other leaks in the rear brake light, rear window seal and left door inner seal.

I truly enjoy the Chrysler product (I own two RAM trucks and a Chrysler Pacifica), I was intending to drive this truck for the next 10-years as I do so little milage with it nowadays, with these issues I have lost confidence in the build of this truck and have concern over the following issues.

Mold growth in the truck and future health risk associated with this.

Electronic corrosion and electric system malfunctions.

Any other unknown risks which may arise in the future related to these issues.

The bad build of this truck has allowed this to happen, I as a consumer am not prepared to accept the future risks associated with this vehicle.

All I am asking for is to please put me into a truck that does not have these defects.

I look forward to your response in this matter.

Chrysler Nyle maxwell dodge of castroville

I bought a $61,000 used vehicle from Nyle Maxwell of Castroville and they sold me a defective vehicle with leaking struts. I put less than 300 miles on it when my local Chevy dealer during a routine oil change discovered the leaking struts. Leaking struts are a safety issue due to increased stopping distances and higher chances of a rollover when turning among other things.

I talked Cody Gist the used car manager and he blamed me for not inspecting the car myself. According to Cody, if Nyle Maxwell sells you a defective used vehicle it is your fault. They do not stand behind their product, their name, or their reputation.

Nyle Maxwell of Castroville should be ashamed of themselves for putting the lives of my family and other families at risk by not properly inspecting their vehicles. My $61,000 vehicle also had 2 screws missing from the air filter assembly and 1 screw missing from the main brace above the air filter assembly. They also only gave me one key fob when they delivered the vehicle which cost me $300 to replace.

Chrysler Over charging in service area.

My Dodge Van broke down near Orangeburg, SC.

I had been having a little transmission slipping. I could smell burning transmission fluid and the smoke was coming out of the bottom. I have it towed to Tony T's Chrysler Dodge. I explain the transmission is bad and I have a warranty. They check it out and say no it is the engine. I am like are you sure? They say yes. They change the engine and then...The hell begins. They call and say I need a new battery. This is true, but they wanted to charge me $400.00. I said no I will bring one. Next they say that I have to buy the thermostat for the van and that is $55.00. I said the thermostat didn't come with it. I say I will call, because a $7000.00 engine would have a thermostat in it. I call my warranty company and they say we paid for that it was $55.00 and here is the invoice and charge. So, I call Tony T's service back and say hey the warranty company says they paid. My service advisor gets all out of sorts hangs up. I call back, I have to get my van, Service advisor informs me that i can not have the van until I pay the $55.00 for the thermostat to be PUT IN. I say I will just put on in myself, I am not giving the service advisor $55.00 for NO reason. Now I call the GM and explain. He speaks to the service advisor and guess what the van is ready with a thermostat right then. I come pick it up pay my deductible. The GM acts like he paid the$55.00 for the thermostat. I get the van and it breaks down with in 15min. Why you say,

The Transmission goes totally out. They say since I was able to drive it about 10 miles it was fine ( the transmission just happens to go totally out.

They also said I blew the engine, How? Thermostat got hot and I did not notice. When the car started acting up it did not run hot at all. It was the transmission. I have tried to give myself time to calm down. I will do my best to let everyone know they are the worst of the worst and cheating lying thieves.

I can not even convey how deceitful they are.

Desired outcome: There should be an investigation into. I think the service advisor as well as the GM Bill should be fired. They have to be in this scam together. Thank you, Laura

Chrysler Part for my Jeep 2020 renegade

I have waiting since DECEMBER 9 for part 68503898AA Apron

rail assembly passenger side, dealership VISION has been ordering the wrong part.

Spoke to many people nobody can figure it out. Nothing but incompetent useless people.

Meanwhile I’m paying for a leased car I don’t have, insurance, gas, rental. I can’t do this anymore. Not one person is understanding or compassionate about my situation. My deceased husband worked for Chrysler for 40 years this is unacceptable.

I need someone to step up and take responsibility and resolve this now. Give me another car, voice mails, text, emails, phone calls are not being received, or answered.

Desired outcome: Reimbursement for leased car, a new car. Call back on status of car part.

Chrysler ad a substantial repair.

I have a 2019 Ram Rebel and purchased it new with 56 miles on it from Tomball Chrysler in Tomball, TX.

It has been found that the RR door skin has been replaced prior to purchase. I was not informed of this repair prior to making the purchase. The paint has failed on the RR door and RF door panels, I am unable to get anyone at Chrysler to make the repairs as they state it's out of warranty. The failure was noticed prior to the warranty period but was not taken to the dealership as it looked like it just needed to be buffed out, but all of a sudden, the paint turned white and is cracking. I have had a automotive paint expert inspect the paint and he informed me that the application appears to be at fault. I have a case # [protected] and have followed their instructions by having a Chrysler Dealer inspect the truck. I have taken the truck to Dayton Andrews in St. Petersburg, FL and they have provided the customer service department the documents requested. The dealership agrees the repairs were not done correctly.

I just want some help with this matter.

Chrysler Service work done at mc kinney dodge chrysler jeep mazda, in easley, s.C. C.

Took my Chrysler 300 C to mc Kinney Dodge to have my car checked because of the Engine light coming on. Said they replaced Pressure oil switch, light came back on after two days called them and they said it was probably something else wrong. three diffrerant places checked it and said bad oil pressure switch. So I had it replaced, not by McKinny Dodge. Was told it had never been replaced, works great now and no engine light coming. no thanks to McKinny Dodge in Easley, S.C. I found a trust worthy mech. and will stick with him. be aware of dealers.

Chrysler new 2013 dodge caravan purchased with mopar life time protection

Driving home from Vegas Dec. 2021Van stalled at 99+ thousand miles . Taken to Redlands Dodge CA.X 7 for the same problem of Stalling . Each time assured it is fixed . We drove to Milwaukee WI. Kept stalling to fro . Milwaukee Dodge also thought they fixed the issue . It stalled again in Lake Of Ozark, Oklahoma finally we got home . Tried Dodge Fontana CA X 6 same issue of Stalling . They still have the Van .

Mopar Protection Plan was called several times. Their Customer Care Service is deplorable . Transferred to 3-4 persons relate the story over and over to each one . Then put you on hold total 45 mins then hang up . We are Seniors how sad to be treated this way . Issue Un-Resolved by them.

Conclusion : 14 times this Vehicile has stalled on Freeway ,Highway, on regular street close to home far from home. 14 months no resolution this Vehicle is Unsafe ,and dangerous. It is Un-Ffixable Chrysler Co-orperation please look deeply into this matter do not wait for us to be dead in an accident.

Desired outcome: Replace this Unsafe Vehicle .We do have Mopar Protection Plan . Each time taken in to Dodge Service . Paid $100 deductible & Resolution Problem of Stalling . Towing is not covered too . I want all my $ 100 also given back to us

Chrysler head unit. gps 2014 jeep grand cherokee

A few months ago, my GPS and head unit went bad. I took it to Princton jeep located in Montgomery Nj. for service. after telling me they need to look for the problem and I would have to pay for Dianostic fee of 190.00 dollars plus, they would try to recalibrate the unit, that did not fix the problem. I paid for that then when it went bad again I asked for them to just replace it, at that time they told me that I would have to pay for it. no problem I told them. they said that they had a problem locating a unit, after a few days I went back to have them replace the unit that worked for about a few hr, then went bad again. the cost of that was apex 900.00 plus dollars and now 4 tripes to them. after a few more trips to find the issue, they told me it might be the battery. I'm not that dumb. then the manager tried to sell me a newer jeep. I have tried several times to have them make me whole by replacing. the GPS, radio head unit that is under warrantee, I was told it was not up to them but Chrysler jeep to make that decision. I have asked for them to just reimburse me. the money that was paid so I could take it to a different dealer they again said it was up to corporate to refund. me. my first jeep was a 1986 cj 7 and never owned any other ride but jeep, please help Jeffrey Mack [protected] [protected]@msn.com PS 7 plus tripes no results. just runaround

Chrysler Service at Waldorf, Maryland Dealership

I am writing because I had my tires rotated at the dealership in Waldorf, Maryland. Then I drove to Georgia. On my way home, my front left tire came off my vehicle in Fayetteville NC. The company that repaired my tire so that I could drive my car home reported to me that the Lugnuts on the other 3 tires were loose. I took my car in today to have it looked over by the service manager. The service manager told me that they were not responsible and said they couldn't find anything wrong with the vehicle that would make the tire come off. I don't understand this. I am reaching out to you because I could have been killed and no one wants to take responsibility. I would appreciate it if someone would call me at [protected].

Desired outcome: I would like a refund, my car repaired and a rental car while my car is being repaired.

Chrysler Chrysler 300 problem

I had A 300 for 12 years and loved it. A lady hit me and they totaled it. I purchased a 2018 300 in Feb. of 2019, so I have only had it for 4 years and only 15,500 miles on it and the siding of all the inside windows are pulling apart. I took it to the dealership, they said that is a problem with the 300s and Dodge, so they told me to contact you here to find out what I need to do to get this fixed. Thank you and have a great day. Chrysler Straightline dodge would not warranty my battery

I have a 2021 Jeep Cherokee. I bought it new in 2021 from Stony Plain Chrysler. It has 26,563 kms currently. I've had to boost it and put it on a charger lately and also the remote start would disable. I drove my vehicle to an apt and it wouldn't start. I had a tow truck try to boost it and it wouldn't boost so I had it towed to Straightline dodge as this is the town I live in. They ran a test and quoted me over 600 for the test and to replace the battery. It should have been under warranty. I told them I was not paying that for a battery and to put it out in the yard. I went to part sounce and bought a battery and got it running in 10 minutes. I am out of pocket the cost of the battery and what Straightline charged me to test the battery. I've been driving this vehicle for a year every day and have had to continually boost it lately; they said the battery was frozen; I disagree; if the battery was frozen, it wouldn't have been driveable. I've had to boost it on occasion. The battery and test should have been under warranty. I spoke to the dealer I bought the vehicle from and they said they would have warrantied this; to get a quote of over 650 to install a battery along with a tire rotation is outrageous. I had to buy a battery from part source and install it in the parking lot; took all of 10 minutes and the battery was about 220 dollars. I kept the battery and am now filing a complaint. I feel like I was discriminated against because I am number 1, a woman and number 2, 54 years old. I feel like they tried taking advantage of me partly because of these two things. I got a text from the manager asking for a positive review and I explained they would not be getting a positive review and explained the situation. I heard nothing back. After I spoke with the service manager at Stony Plain Chrysler, I again texted the manager at Straightline Dodge. I was told the service manager would be reaching out to me; however, this didn't happen.

Chrysler Radio console

I own a 2018 jeep grand Cherokee. It was purchased in late 2018. It currently has 51,000 miles on it and has been babied and taken care of its whole life including garaged. The screen which is an 8.6 inch Display has become unlaminated. I am told by my dealer I need to purchase a new radio. After doing some research it seems that this is a known issue by Chrysler and nothing is being done to stand behind their product. I have been a long time customer of Chrysler jeep and have owned many over the past few years, this will definitely impact my thoughts on our next purchase

Chrysler Part for jeep

I am beyond frustrated, regarding waiting for part 68503898AA Apron rail assembly passenger side for my 2020 Jeep Renegade since December 9, 2023.

My husband worked for Chrysler for 40 years! James Casbar, Manager for the IT department. Center Line. He would never let this happen to me, he passed away. I am his widow.

My Jeep has been at the Collision shop since Dec. 9, 2023. I had nothing but lied too, misinformed. I have been waiting patiently for parts, and then this part 68503898AA Apron rail assembly passenger side, its not available anywhere, Illinois, Texas, North Dakota, Mississippi. Unbelievable that this part is not been made.

I called Dodge Jeep Corporate at [protected], spoke to Milika, and then transferred to Dallas who is the parts team manager. Spoke to Dallas today not very helpful, says they are working on it, suggested Canada parts division. I explained that I need my vehicle. I am paying the lease every month, plus insurance then a rental car so I can work. I am on survivor Chrysler pension. and my lease is up very soon.

Please help me resolve this matter.

Desired outcome: I would like to return the jeep. Nobody cares that this 2020 jeep part is not important to find. I would like to be reimbursed for the lease amount that I have paying every month. And my rental fee since January.

Chrysler Cancelled lifetime warranty policy [protected]

January 2023 my vehicle was in for repair to replace the water pump under the lifetime warranty. I was informed that Chrysler had cancelled this policy without notiying me. I called customer service and spoke with Jem by email with no help. Stated I missed a 5 year inspections and must have this. I told him my policy does not have this inspection written in it. I had it done and vehicle passed and sent him the form. Not good enough. I went ahead and paid for my service on the vehicle and I am not asking for this to be paid all I want is this policy reinstated. I also ask for the date this inspection should have been done and he did not or would not give it to me. I have this in writing on emails if you need it. I can not give you what the dealer does not give me. Vehicle bought in 2008 and policy started in 2012. In 2017 vehicle was repaired under this warrity at Landers Dodge Southeaven MS. Nothing said about a inpections then, if needed why was it not done it is free? This would have been 5 years to date form policy start. The vehicle was back in to the dealer 2018 to replace passenger air bag under recall, nothing said about needed inspections.

Chrysler Hydraulic control unit

I have a 2018 ram 2500 diesel. The Hydraulic Control Unit is not working and needs to be replaced. My issue is there are 100's of these trucks that need this same part. This part is not available from Chrysler. Dealerships can not even order it until March 2023. So how can something like this not be available, and why is this not a recall bulletin. These trucks cost as much as a house was 10 yrs ago. They are expensive. The buyer should not have to deal with these types of issues.

Desired outcome: This be fixed and paid for by Chrysler.
