customer service is horrible
I went into your store that your company took over from Valero. It's Tuesday 24 July 2018 at 7:30 PM and both of your clerks were talking on the phone while there was a line going to the back of the store. Neither one giving a damn about the customers. When I finally got to the register a lady by the name of Eugenia, not positive on the spelling, was the rudest and most unprofessional person I've ever met. Insulted me and called people names, racist. Because your company would employ someone like this I will never do business with your company again. A real shame because I was an assistant manager some years ago with Circle K and we were proud of our customer service and professionalism. I guess your company doesn't give a damn anymore.
an employee's actions towards another employee and myself on my visit 7/22/2018
My name is tommy mcguire and i was in circle k located at 1700 s. Dixie fwy. New smyrna beach, florida around 9:53 pm getting gas and went inside to buy a few other things. I stood waiting to be taken care of for a while looking at the lottery. An employee "brittany" (she was wearing a cast) was standing behind the register talking to some guy who was sitting there chatting it up. I guess it was her boyfriend or husband way too friendly with each other. Very unprofessional for an employee to have someone there while on the clock. She was too busy to take care of me as a customer so i decided to leave after she ignored me.
There was another employee there changing the trash out in the front; i couldn't make out her name at that time but it stared with an "e". I am not sure what this employees "brittany" problem was tonight but she walked right up to the other employee and got in her face running her mouth to her. I could tell that it really upset this other employee but the other employee didn't lose her cool at all or say anything out of the way. I can tell that it upset her because she had tears in her eyes.
Only thing she said was that she was going to talk to the manager about it in the morning. I heard the employee in the cast tell the guy sitting there talking to her that she doesn't have to do anything and she can make her do it all. To me this is wrong of any employee to do or say this. I am a regional manager myself and if i ever heard or saw one of my employees speak to or treat another employee or person like that i would fire them without thinking twice.
Shortly after i left i called the at 10:03 store phone [protected] and the employee "brittany" answered the phone. I simply asked for for her to give my number to the manager and also to give me corporate phone number she hung up on me. I was shocked and livid ! so i called back and asked why she hung up on me and she stated that i was being hostile... All because i explained to her how i was ignored there and how i wanted corporate to know how she treated the other employee and she informed me that if i have a problem to come back in there to that store. Me calling asking for corporate number is not me being hostile at all. The more i thought about it i went on into the store again and gave my contact information to the other employee and asked her to give it to the manager when she saw them next. She apologized to me multiple times for what all happened and it wasn't her place to but she did anyway. The other employees name is elizabeth and she told me that she there to help her get her stuff done because brittany's arm was broke. I explained to her that i was proud of her to keep her cool when she got in her face and she told me that i have a child to raise and that she loved her job and didn't want to lose it. After talking to her for a couple minutes i told her to keep my contact information as well so if anything happens and she gets in trouble for brittany's actions then she will have a witness to take legal actions.
As a regional manager myself and as a customer at circle k i am hoping that you resolve this problem because your employee "brittany" is rude, lazy, very unprofessional. She also makes it impossible for your other employee to do their jobs. She made your other employee "elizabeth" job a hostile work environment which if this doesn't get resolved this could turn into a civil matter for your company. This store doesn't even deserve 1 star! It's strsight crap! From behind the scenes it's the absolute worst. The manager of the store refused to come in or send relief to an employee when she needed to take her 2 year old to the hospital. When he seemed fine after the hospital visit the following day on the employees day off she thought it was over. After that the employee needed to take her son back to the hospital on her next day of work. Christiana then hung up the phone on the employee saying seriously u have been off for how long and u r just now taking him? Knowing that the employee had just taken her child due to the paper work from discharge the previous visit. a week or so later there was a family emergency fear for her brother not gonna make it threw the night and the employee called saying she had to leave. Christiana turned around complaining she had a family emergency. She schedules rediculous shifts and then changes them last minute. Has her employees working a 2 person shift by themselves. Refusing her employees help. When an employee calls in and another employee takes that shift because it is overtime threw the week that you are cut an hour or two in order to take their hard work and overtime away from them. Food from the roller grill gets written off when an employee is hungry or if a customer has to wait for buns. The grill and hot box food from morning shift often stays out all day due to sales being more important than write offs and its never changed every 4 hrs. The grill constantly has alot of grease under it and never gets cleaned. Foid creamers cheese and chili is hardly ever dated and a random unknown enspection would surely shut them down. There are damaged cans and bottles in the store room and freezer that have been credited back to the store and neverake it to the trash. One parricular employee karen is known not to id ppl and nothing has been done. One of the newest employees Jasmine thinks its ok to scream and holler at customers and tell her co workers shes being disrespectful for leaving early due to a family emergancy because your job comes first.This same employee who has been pushed aside like she doesnt matter even went to Susan asking for a transfer and simply said she couldnt because one coworker was already leaving and suggested a tall in her presence to settle differences with christiana.finally this employee had had enough with the store being a wreck and being non stop at that at the register with no help on the busiest shift so she counted down her drawer after requesting help from the assistant manager since Christiana was on her 3rd paid vacation since september and locked up the store and brought the keys to burton street circle k. The next day while getting drinks at the store this employee who had just quit the was told by her old coworker that she was no longer allowed in the store!?! For what u ask? For being fed up with the management and workers not doing anything thinking of themselves and their families and not caring about anyone else or their families. For pushing others families aside and making sure they know that u and ur family are not more important than the job. Horrible place to work. Two faced employers and employees as well they have nothing better to do except talk [censored] on others. If u r looking for employment ur best bet is anywhere but here unless of course u r just as shady as everyone else and are willing to put ur job before ur family.

debt/gas purchase..
I paid for gas the other day with my debit card via outside card reader. I only had 10.00 and some change in my account and was talking too much and went over the amount by 1 dollar and some change, now funny enough instead of receiving an overdraft fee from my bank I was charged 40 or 39 dollars for the account being overdrawn but not by my bank but by circle k.. I wasn't even aware this was a possible form of fee or fine .. how is it ok for them to go based on how broke in an and charge me for it when the bank controls my money ..something just seems odd .. So in essence for a dollar over in gas I was paying 40 for an 11 dollar tank of gas

I seen and had an bad experience with Cashier Laura last night around 8:51pm
she was so rude and believed to be racist. I had three people in front of me one was a young couple and another one was a white guy. when I walked up she was belittling the couple giving them attitude and by the looks of it made the customer feel looked down on. but once the white guy came up I swear to you not she had a full conversation with this man laughing and carrying on I literally had 5 things in my hand waiting, finally after the guy tells his story about his card and his package not being delivered to his home, I was next this lady did not say a word to me only gave me attitude, I've been in customer service for 8 years so I automatically speak to her and she says nothing. so as I'm waiting on my receipt and extended my hand out she forcefully slams it in my bag, knowing I wanted to jump over the counter I didn't I left and verified with the guy waiting behind me if he seen what just happened to me. SOOO I called the job to see when the manager was available the next morning which is today 07/19/18 and all I got was a nope. hung up I called again and now the phone been busy since last night... If I have to call Cooperate everyday to get an investigation on this lady, to be honest next time wont be the friendly me. somebody has to put her in her place and I'm hoping her manager does before I do.
our 24 hr store closes often... without warning
We live near & frequently buy gas at a Circle K (located at 610 W. South St., Freeport, IL). Over the past few months, the store clerks have closed the store because the "system is down." It seems to happen at least twice a week...and that's just when we know about. It's happened while my husband was in line to pay for gas. He was told he couldn't pay with cash either. They acted like he needed to stand there & wait because they couldn't accept payment in any form for the gas he had already pumped. My husband couldn't wait, so he handed them cash & told them to keep the change. On another day, my daughter walked down to the store to buy milk & the door was locked. The lady inside rudely yelled they were closed. There was a sign saying the doors were broken & they would be closed until fixed. (Doors looked fine, by the way.) There are some instances when the system is down that they accept cash only, but other times they just close down. The cashier's are almost always rude about it, probably because they're sick of it, too. Why is the "system down" so often? ...and why is it appropriate to close down so often in a store that's always supposed to be open? It's becoming a major inconvenience for customers...especially regulars like us.

On 7/12 about 9a I went to the location at 59th Bethany Home to purchase 1 pack Mavericks Menthols 100's on my credit card. On 7/13 I checked my account and my card was charged 12.75 per my bank which is in Indianapolis notified me that @ 3:40p transaction [protected] was for 12.75 and not 7.81. I spoke with mgr following day still no call/resolution

I went to the Circle K at 62nd Ave and 49th Street, in Pinellas Park, Florida, and was threatened by a man on a bicycle, that was not doing any business at the store, he was there charging his phone, loitering.
I paid 40 dollars for gas, and was due change, when I departed the store to check on the gas being pumped, the man on the bike had now moved over to the gas pumps, and was arguing with me, I told him to leave me alone, and he would not, I told him I was going to call the police, but I did not have my cell phone on me.
The bike guy continued to threaten me so I went into the store, and asked the clerk to call the police, and the bike guy told her not to. The bike guy blocked the doorway with his bike, and as I was due change, and did not want to to be harrased any more by the bike guy, I asked over and over for the clerk to call the police, she refused to, but told me to leave the store, and that she was tresspassing me.
I reported this to corporate, and the store manager, but they seem to think that nothing is wrong with this. I called back today, and all of a sudden there is a new store manager there, and she seems to care less about this incident.
She says "nothing happens overnight" and she knows nothing about the case, so it seems like it is just being "sweep under the rug" meanwhile, these people (the man on the bike, and the store clerk are free to to harass me or harm me, with no actions being taken by Circle K.
I asked for the tapes, but Circle K wont release them to me and I am fearful that I may be harmed by this employee and her friend.
Why am I being trespassed when I was a customer, and nothing is being done about the vagrant on the bike.

I used to come to this store a lot and never had any problems.I got a night shift job so I don't get off til 5am and I have school 9am so since nothing is open when I get off circle k was very convenient for me .i went in there 07/15/18 around 5:23-5:39am and I was coming to get a hot dog.i asked the lady which side is done she simply ignored me and when I went to grab with the utensils to get the jumbo hot dog she then want to tell me that it's not done so I put it back on the machine through the whole process she had an attitude but since I touch it I was going to buy it, I just wanted to make sure it was cook.the lady told me just take it home and warm it up in the microwave when I get home.i attempt to try to explain to the lady I don't own a microwave because it carry toxins.if I want to do that why would I waste my money here(something I thought but didn't say).she then proceeded in checking out a friend of mine.Since I was beyond disgusted with the lady attitude and demeanor I just got the hot dog and went to check out and seeing that I got the same thing from the previous night I experience two different totals and when I ask the lady simply got rude I paid for my stuff and as she hand me my change back she said if I don't like it I don't have to come back.I was so upset with some of the comments and how she treated me I returned to ask when the store manager arrive she said she is the store manager and that I'm band for stealing a hot dog.umhm I make twice as much as they get paid.when I got home I tried to call but the same lady picked up and said she the manager.now 12:45 I called back up there the associate working with her that was in the small office part today picked up I formalized her voice( Jamaican accent) from our previous interaction the day before which she wasn't so pleasant.she had that I don't want to be here attitude but was nothing compared to her co work.She knew it was me, && I asked to speak with the store manager and she kept asking me 21 questions and I simple told her I would like to discuss it with the store manager not her.she then said her store doesn't have one and that she the assistant.So now I'm confused one associate claim they were the manager and the other one said there store doesn't have have one but she the assistant.Then the lady didn't give me a receipt to show proof of my 2.67 transaction and I refuse to be labeled a thief.people get sued over fake accusations.ive seen it serval times in my field.but I'm not looking to profit I just don't want anyone else experience what I experience coming to this store.i won't be back but I hope y'all decide to get a recording phone line and do something about your staff.my experience was pose to be fast friendly and satisfied and I didn't experience none of that but a headache and became highly up set. i always gave circle k my business the one on sunset Blvd in West Columbia never gave me a problem or on broad river I only come to the one on bush river because it's closer.i paid cash and I think I left my receipt but I do plan on getting a lawyer involved if I get in trouble over something I paid for.i don't care about being band from the store if this happened to me I'm sure a lot of other people experience it to.go check the google review on circle k 2201 bush river road, a guy name Eric Lee experience something similar two months prior

I have purchased the same item at the Grafton, WV store twice in the past month. The item is displayed as $8.99, but rings up as $11.49. I brought this to the clerks' attention both times and they were unable to override it. Notes were left for the manager both times, but the display has not changed. Also, the shelves are rarely stocked with enough product, so I am unable to purchase what I need that is advertised at that store.

Hello my name is curtis earls .I am a employee of circlek #4112 glenwoodsprings co.I work p/t and when i done my interview i told the mngr that i have some health issues and 4 surgeries on o7/11/18 i was sheduled to work that night 5/11pm well i had to goto the e/r buy ambulance because i thought i was having a heart attack because i have a/fib did not leave hospital till the next night.My wife called from the e/r
to tellthe mngr that i was at the e/r .He said ok then hung up on her. Now he tells me that im going to be wrote up and coached and i cant come back to work until after the write up.All i can say is that if thats how you treat employees at your company buy putting a persons health and well being in second place to almighty $ well then maybe you should rethink your company policies because that just isnt right! so i will be returning my uniform and key because i cant work for a company that has no since of how to treat a employee .
assistant manager attitudes
My husband went into the circle k located on Terrell and cottonwood Blvd. The assistant manager approached my husband about a taquito that he was swatting. She told him to pay first. We normally always eat them to decide if we will buy two or one. She goes to him hum how many did you eat he stated one. She goes hummmm right. So, he stated charge me for ten if you want. Overall, the assistant talked crap because my husband knows the cashiers. One of the cashiers husbands threatens my husband at the in n out in town wanting to fight because he said we know them. The assistant obviously got mad beyond the experience which is petty. I will be taking my 150.00 a day business elsewhere.
Next time pay for the food before eating. Duh. Your husband did wrong, and they were probably charging him for the ten that he ate in previous visits.
Your husband needs to grow up and put on his big boy pants. He needs to fight his own battles instead of coming crying to you. He had no right to eat something which had not paid for.

I just went in Circle K ro purchase the $3.33 combo with 2 grilled items and fountain soda. As I was fixing my items I decided to get chili and cheese for 29 cents extra. I informed lady at the register which was an older caucasian lady. She didnt say one word complete silence didnt even really look at me. Then she hesitated a while as I was still trying to pump cheese while my dogs got cold. She finally came over then started changing it and stopped when someone else got her attention at register. Still ignoring me and called for another employeewhich was an African American female to come do it as I continued to wait . Then I was telling the young lady how I was being ignored the Caucasian lady overheard me and got defensive raising her voice I asked her why was she so hostile. I told her I know hostility I've served in the military just to see if it would change her attitude it didnt she never looked at me she spoke to me as if I was not there then told me to calm down. I told her she will have to deal with God I threw items away and walked out. I felt discriminated against. She saw a black guy with a tank top on because it's over 90 degrees and I have tattoos is what it looks like I choose Circle K ro get me lunch and I got treated like an outcast. I will be contacting an attorney about this. It was wrong wrong wrong how she done me.

I was calling in for my sister because she has become sick and unable to speak. I called and asked to speak with the manager on duty and when he answered i respectfully and politely informed him of her situation so that she would not be marked as a no call no show. He then got an attitude and said smart remarks over the phone. He was talking to me in such a nasty tone and hung up in my face. That is beyond rude, disrespectful, and very unprofessional. On my way to work this morning I stopped in the gas station to grab a fountain drink. I was simply glancing at some items as my friends were paying at the register. Tammy, the employee behind the register was staring at me & thought she saw me eat a tornado which I did not. Videos inside the store will prove me right. She asked my friends if they were going to pay for the tornado she thought I ate. Her exact words were, " the tornado he shoved down his throat. " I told her that I didn't eat one & she was very rude and unprofessional . This is the 2nd time this has happened in this store. She made me every uncomfortable. I'm appalled at the way she spoke to me. Something needs to be done bc no customer should be made to feel this way. I refuse to go back to that store & will no longer be giving them my business.

I went in to corner store on Indian school and moon. Manager was training a new young girl. They were in a hurry to get me out of the store. You could smell alcohol on the girl was a horrible experience the way they were acting was unacceptable. Practically on top of each other. I have never been to a store where the manager acts this way. I don't feel a convenient store is a place to have this type of behavior keep it out of work and especially customers don't be rude and rush people out so you can conduct your behavior.

I stopped by your location at 8154 Airport Hwy Holland Ohio 43528 after 10pm last night to get gas. As I was getting out of my car I looked around so that I could wash my windows. All (8) I believe, of the container had nothing in them. I walked into the store and advised both the guys behind the counter that none of there window washer container had anything in them. I then asked so are you going to fill them so I can wash my windows. He then immediately told me sorry we are all out. My reply you have a huges display right out side. So your no going to fill them up. Reply No. VEry rude mangement have running your location. I worked at Barney and every day I made sure that the customer had clean window washer. After that I didn't even get gas from your station. I left. Your Company has lost my business.
I am complaining about an employee by the name of tiffany love
My complaint is on a specific employee named Tiffany Love. On Sunday July 8thvit was 8:30 pm and this decided to take a smoke break sitting outside the entrance. There were 4 people and three cars waiting including myself to go inside and purchase products and gas. This employee forced everyone to wait 10 minutes until she was done smoking her cigarette there were cars that pulled up and pulled out do to her not opening the doors. When asked if she could end her spoke break to assist all these customers she became billigerent and used profanity and almost got into a fight with customers. This was very unprofessional and caused this location to loose business for that time. To my understanding employees don't get smoke breaks especially when their the only ones working the register.

Hi, my name is Hector Apodaca. On 4/28/2018 there was an incident that happened in your Superior AZ store. Myself and two other individuals got into a verbal argument. The reason for the argument was Mr. Wernett was in violation of an order of protection and I was trying to ask him to please comply with the court order, at that point the situation turned into a verbal argument. Valerie Macias entered the store and pulled me out. Five days later I was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct . Joanna Longoria file the complaint against me a had Valerie and myself trespassed from your store. I feel that she acted one sided with her actions Mr. And Mrs. Wernett had initiated the argument and should have been charged as well if you review your video for that day you will see how it was escalated and see the Mrs Macis did not do anything, but get me out of the store and ended the argument. I am requesting you please reconsider the Trespass paperwork against us to be lifted. There is only one other store I can get gas from and if there is an emergency that one if my kids or family members might need something your store is the only one available. I feel the Mrs Longoria was quick to judgment and she also had some personal issues with us. I have lived here for almost a year and have been to your store since I was a child. When I moved here back in August 2017 I had a good relationship with all of your employees. I am a retired Army Veteran with PTSD and Am on disability . I have always been respectful and polite to your employees I would love for you to ask any of them. That was the one and only time that something like that happened and I do apologize for my actions. So once again I am respectfully requesting that you please lift the Trespass on Valerie Macias and Hector Apodaca.
