This was my first dealings with this company. I have been restoring cars/jeeps and trucks for over 20 years and see their components all the time when I am searching. I ordered a U-joint for my 2007 JK Wrangler. I installed it at a buddies house who is a ASE certified mechanic because he had a lift. We followed the instructions, but after only 25 miles the joint failed. I took pictures and sent them in and asked if I could return the part. They said yes and provided a return shipping label. After about 3 weeks, I contacted them to check the status. After about 45 min on hold I spoke to a rep that said he would check and get back with me. I received and email today saying management would not issue a refund. I questioned the email and the customer service person said "there is no way there was only 25 miles on the part and I had sent back the original old part in place of the new one" I will take up the money portion with my CC company. But I will never use this company again and by the looks of their rating, others should be warned as well. If I could rate them a Zero I would.

I had ordered some items for my car, in March this year. I had completed my purchase, only to get an email that some items were currently out of stock, when they showed to be in stock, during the order process. the main thing I was needing, was the seat foam for both bucket seats and the replacement covers. I understood that the seat covers were a specialty item order, and could not be returned, so I made sure to order what I needed, and the color I needed it in. It took a couple of it took nearly 3 months to get the upholstery covers, and when I opened the box, they were the wrong color and for the wrong year model of car. I have been emailing them about returning and sending me the correct order, since it wasn't my mistake. All i get is the run around, seeing as a different person will email me, and make a poor attempt to resolve my issue. They have even locked my account, so I couldn't get the order information they needed to trey and resolve the matter. The last email email I received, they wanted to hear back from me within two days, or they would consider the matter resolved. I replied on the 2nd day, and haven't heard anything, since...

I ordered Jeep doors on 8/2 and was charged for these. The website said they would ship out in 4-5 weeks. After 12 weeks I finally had to cancel the order because they weren't able to give me a status. Two weeks later I called and asked about my refund and they hadn't put in a request to refund my card. I called the MFG and they had the doors in stock. The manufacturer shipped out my doors the next day. I still have not received the $600 refund for my canceled order. What a scam and rip-off. I would give them a 0 if that were possible.
Very bad service. Save your precious time because they will most likely send you defective parts. Absolute nightmare.

They first said they could not process payment okay so we tried calling them said we had to use paypal..we decided to just go pick this order up. So get to Harrisburg and they have issue with order so they cancel it and make another ticket and we pay for it. Well I highly advise against giving this company your credit card info... they charged us for the canceled order and the one we picked up. I wouldn't have known if I didn't check my bank statement..guess what they took the money from the canceled order. So try to get through what a fn joke on hold for 45 min. Still no one to talk to never call you back, tried the chat same problem waited 30 minutes of constant clicking only to be told no that order was canceled and we didn't charge you..BS Then I'm told I need to forward my bank statement ok so I do now I'm told that billing will call me tomorrow... something needs to be done with this company... it is very fraudulent to take someone's money and then show the order was canceled on their end but the money was not returned to your bank account. I have been waiting for almost 2 months for parts that was ordered online through CJpony. Order was placed on June 14 Order Number: *** Order total:$1450.50 I have emailed and called multiple times and no response from the company. Just want my money back at this point.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. They claim "they're backed up by about a week and a half on returns and only have two guys sorting through the tower of boxes of returns." The phones are always backed up and have minimum 80 minute wait times. But maybe judging by the "mountain of boxes of returns" and minimum 80 minute wait times (the second time out of 3 that I've called was a 240 minute wait, fortunately they do have a call back, but even then, they call you back and you wait for 10 minutes) they maybe not be as reputable as i hoped. I will be out about 300 bucks if this return/refund doesn't go through for a product that didn't fit, and had missing parts and cut outs. Crappy products, crappy service, and im in shock that my tracking confirmed the return was signed for, but they just toss it on top of a pile? How about take 3 seconds, open the box, confirm the return, and give your customers their money back? Terrible terrible terrible. This company will not last long, and I hope whoever is waiting on refunds get them before this crap company goes under. You guys are awful and should reconsider your business practices. The literal only brightside: the customer service people who are speaking are nice. But the answers they have are trash.

Ordered a set of 4 17x9 rims for my 89 mustang only to find out you need 17x8 for the front. Why would you sell someone a "set" of wheels knowing they won't fit? So i found the company that makes the wheels and they sell this rim in a staggered set. 2 17x8 and 2 17x9. Called cj pony parts and they don't have any 17x8 in that style. Like really? Wtf! Sooo I'm sending 2 wheels back to them for a refund and making them pay for the shipping because i also live in Canada. I will then have to order the proper wheels from the manufacturer directly. What a pain in the [censored]! Btw when its all said and done the car will look amazing though.
Stay away buy anywhere but here. They charge you and never sent out the items. They are a middle man and do not carry inventory.

I have purchased windows from this company and spent close to $300 in shipping to receive these parts. This has been the worst experience I have had ever. I did everything on my part and waited the 3 week lead time. They failed to tell me I was going to be waiting until February just for the back window. So there's the first problem. They don't check on stuff to make sure things like this do not occur. Fixed the problem by accepting a different style window that they would ship the next morning. Well they didn't get shipped for 4 days. After shipping I got half the package 4 days after they shipped. Now the tracking number is saying there is no information available. And boom cj pony parts doesn't know anything about this because they have failed to check in on this issue after i have spoken from supervisors from both locations. I have spent over 2 hours on hold just to get ahold of someone from this company several different times. Literally wasting my life waiting around for parts that aren't worth the wait. So now I have literally no help since I am done waiting on hold to speak to somebody that isnt going to check up on anything at all. So please let me do your job and figure this all out. This company has become a joke and using covid as an excuse for every issue the create.

I have been restoring my 1968 Mustang over the last 2 years and have placed several orders through CJ Pony Parts worth in excess of $2,000. Usually the order is spot on. On occasion the wrong part is delivered. I get it! However when trying to work with customer service via email or phone get ready for a huge disappointment and frustration. I have experienced no response via email on my last return inquiry and tried to follow up on the phone. As others have communicated return calls just don't happen and in a 10 minute period i was disconnected while on hold multiple times. I utilized the " we will call you back and you won't lose your turn in line" option. Once i was called back and then disconnected. It is like the phone system is overloaded or undersized for their business. Customer service issues will hopefully be resolved as a new CEO is in place as of February this year. In the interim i have found an alternate parts distributor, which i assume is CJ's largest competitor and the pricing is 0-25% lower depending on the item. Fortunately i am close to finishing my restoration. If you are looking for multiple part orders for your project scour Google for comparisons. Cj is very aggressive at sending you sales information and specials to your email however they do not close the loop on basic "Best Practices" business concepts to insure consistent favorable experiences and reviews

I have been a customer of CJ Pony Parts for nearly 10 years and have seen the quality of their service degrade. Unfortunately my most recent experience has been terrible. I ordered a steering wheel kit for a client's car from their website and was shipped an incomplete kit with one of the parts backordered. When I ordered the parts the website said the parts were in stock (I verified this as I knew I needed the parts right away). Since this is a customer's car I cannot wait for the backorder and since the kit is incomplete, I cannot use it. Therefore I had to purchase the parts from a local supplier. I contacted CJ Pony Parts right away but their customer support person took a few days to make the return. The return process has been frustrating as the support people I have encountered have been rude and continue to ask me to jump through hoops. After 4 days of emails I finally received an RMA however they refuse to pay for return shipping becauser they state its my fault. This issue 100% due to issues on their end as the parts were said to be in stock when I ordered them. Furthermore their customer service people (I have worked with 2) have been rude and continue act like they are doing me a favor. I certainly don't need to deal with a bad company like this when there are many others that sell the same parts and stand behind their company (Jegs, Summit, NPD, etc). As a customer for 10-years, I can honestly say that I will never buy another part from CJPP.

I ordered a mat from them for an auto. I waited three weeks for it. The tracking number I was given never acknowledged the item was shipped. It did not ship until two weeks after the tracking number was generated. When I got the item it was the wrong one. Calls to customer service went like this I called them multiple times, I was put on hold and after about 40 minutes the phone would click twice and hang up. Have to start all over again with a new call. This happened all day long. I was offered to have the automated call back service, again it would call me back, the recording would say "one of our customer service people will be with you in a few minutes" and after about 20 minutes of holding two clicks and it would hang up on me again. I grew weary of their customer service system. I filed a claim with *** and had to pay return shipping for their mistake. It angered the customer service person at CJ's that I filed thru ***. At which point she let me know that since I filed a claim with ***l I would not be able to use the pre-paid return shipping label. I felt like I was being punished for being a customer. But *** chipped in and did the right thing by paying for most of the shipping for me. Very frustrating to be treated like this, and then be out additional money and my time for their mistake. I ordered same piece from *** and had it in two days for 60 dollars less. If their was a zero symbol by the five stars thats what these people would get for a rating. Complete waste of time. Never again.

Jason- I placed an order with CJ Pony parts on March 4th, 2022 for BBK Headers. The website never stated they were shipped, on back order, or unavailable. They withdrew the money from my account and almost two months from the day ordered never heard anything from the company. I called the company several times and the only response that I would get is that they would check into it. They would never return my call or send me an email with an update. Let it go for another week and called again. I was told that they sent emails but they would not get a response form their distributor. Them trying to call them would have bee nice. Received the same response as the first call, they would check into it. I called again and asked for a manager. I was advised that they would give it to him and then have him call my back on the same day. Never received a call back. Called back the next day and was then told the manager was out on covid and the other manager had left for the day. Called back for the final time and was told the same thing the next day. Final called again to request a refund. We will see if that goes through or I have to report to my credit card company. Worst experience I have ever had ordering parts. The only reason that I went through this company is they had a small discount code. This was not even worth the hassle and time I have dealt with this company. I have a mustang and am always trying to replace parts and restore the car. Thought this would be a good site, I was terribly wrong. Go with one of there competitors, you will be much happier. I went to another site and ordered the same part and will have it in less than a week. Crazy!

I am totally restoring my Grandmother's 1968 Mustang Coupe GT 302. Over the last 6 months I have spent over $11,000 with CJ's. Many of the parts I have ordered that are supposed to be direct factory fit are not correct and have to be modified to work, and in many cases can not work at all. There customer service is impossible to get a hold of you will spend an average of an hour to an hour and a half on hold. If you ask to speak to a manager their is never one available. Many times they cancel an order and don't let you know. When you return items, their policy states you will be refunded in 5 days, but that seldom happens, customer support tells you it's 5 to 7 business days. Most recently I sent a return that was a manufacturing flaw and does not fit. It took 3 months to get them to authorize a return because it was just after the 60 days. I sent the return to them and they received it on May 5th at 10:48AM. I called them on May 13th because it still showed processing and they had not returned the money. They assured me it would be taken care of and refunded that day. It was not. I called them on May 16th and was told they were processing the returns from the 5th and please give them 24 to 48 hours to have it completed. 48 hours later it still hadn't been done, so I called them again. I was told that they could not get a response form the return department and they would send me an email as soon as they heard back. 4 hours later still no response, so I called again explained what was going on to the representative and asked to speak to the manager. He told me that the manager was at lunch and would be back in 15 minutes, and he would have him call me right away. That was over an hour ago and of course no return call! I strongly recommend if you can get your parts from another vendor even if it costs a little more, do it.

I ordered 2 door window crank handles. They sent me 1 right and 1 wrong. I asked for a return shipping label. Never received. They wanted for me to pay to send it back. I told them that was their mistake. Still never received. I told them, I would post bad reviews so they told me they would send. 30 days never received one. I restore cars and have spent so much money to be treated like this. If I were you I would not buy from them because if they send you the wrong part you will have to pay to have it sent back for their mistake. All of this for a $11.00 handle

CJ Pony parts displays parts for sale on their website that they DO NOT have in stock as "available" for "immediate delivery". I went ahead and purchased the items online, using a credit card. The confirmation said they would be delivered within 3-5 days which worked for me with my appointment at the mechanic repair ship. I called to confirm and ask a question about an item, and they wouldn't answer the phone. I waited on hold for 4 hours (three times on hold for over an hour) over the course of two days. I entered a call back number and they never replied or called back. Finally I got someone on their online chat, who told me the parts were not available. He had no answer in regards to when parts would be available, nor if there were a replacement. He told me they are not in the warehouse due to Covid, and he was helping 7 other customers and couldn't answer my questions. I explained they had already charged me for the items (the pending charge on my account showed up immediately and made the funds unavailable to me). After 20 minutes of speaking with him, simply asking for answers, he claimed he would cancel the order (even though I didn't ask him to). He then hung up on me. The charge is still showing on my bank for -$1,324.38. I have received no further information from the company and I am still out the money.

Shipped same day, parts were on delivery truck out to residence *** 3/11/2022. *** 3/11/2022 parts redirected to their PA warehouse by shipper. 3/12/2022, I contacted CJP, they told me they did not redirect shipment. Called *** they said shipper redirected. Called CJP, informed them what *** said, CJP accused me of being shipper, I asked how could I have been shipping from their store to my house using their invoicing system. Package sat at there distribution center from 3/13/2022 to 4/5/2022. Bought same parts from competitors and installed them on 3/22. Asked for refund from CJP. Cjp told me to send pictures of the items so I could get refund. I asked them how was I to take the pictures since they were in there own warehouse. They said they would issue refund on 4/7. It's 4/22 and no refund. Also when I log on to check status, it says I don't have an account, nor have I ever ordered anything.
I order a turn signal switch for my 67 *** it was defective doesn't work at all my mechanic try calling no one calls back or answers the phone. On Saturday, June 13th, I placed an order on cjponyparts website and ordered a Cobb Tuning intake for my vehicle. I received the order in a very timely manner. After roughly 2 hours of taking my vehicle apart I soon realized that the part I received was incorrect. The only thing that was incorrect was the intake pipe as it was missing a plug in for the MAF sensor and the 90 degree fitting. Also, one end of the intake pipe was completely dented in! I looked at the shipping box and there was absolutely no damage to the box! They had to have seen the damage to the pipe before they shipped it out. I called the customer support number provided numerous times (both number) and was given estimated wait times ranging anywhere from 10 to 400 minutes. Any time my queue got down to near 5 minutes wait time they hung up. Even when given the option to have someone call you back they hung up. I left a negative review on *** and I was left a message stating to reach out to an email. Well I have reached out to that email and I still have heard nothing back. I would like my money back as I have no faith I will ever hear back from this company and after reading hundreds of reviews across the internet about this company I truly wish I did not order from them. I contacted cjpony parts to cancel and order. The rep was extremely rude but the order was cancelled. A few days later I find my account is charged for the product that I cancelled. I have tried multiple times to get in touch with the company to be reimbursed the funds. I can not get through them. I have been successful with getting through to them through social media but they will not resolve the issue. I would like the money refunded to me ASAP and an explanation on how and when this was done.

I purchased a product from CJ Pony in January. I never received it and contacted CJ pony. They advised it was delivered and contacted the Carrier and there was nothing they can do. I financed from *** so since they were the ones financing, I thought they would be able to do something. I finally heard from *** and they said I need to contact the Carrier that delivered it. I did as they asked and because it took too long to hear from Affirm, they said they could not open a claim and that CJ pony never called them to tell them the issue. CJ pony will not return calls or emails and just say my result is closed and so does affirm but yet I have my credit score affecting me now. i Have done everything I possibly can, and I am not paying for something I did not receive, and they will not issue a credit or another item. I have all documentations and still they do nothing. Just because it says it was delivered does not man people do not make mistakes or if it got stolen.

I recently went to order car parts on CJPonyParts.com. I ordered the parts to my father's house as that is where the car we're working on is located. This was a different shipping address than my billing address. I then received an email from Jessica G at CJPonyParts stating that for first-time customers, I have to have it shipped to my billing address, or send them the payment through a different method and then attach my order number for them to send it to my requested address. Otherwise, the order would be cancelled. I replied telling them to cancel the order because I needed my parts urgently and didn't want to deal with the hassle. So, I went to SummitRacing.com and ordered the same parts with no problem. I assumed I would get my refund in a few days. However, tonight I received confirmation from CJPonyParts on my order that they previously said they could not fill. I do not want the packages, as they told me they wouldn't ship and would cancel the order if I didn't comply with their payment request. I tried to email and call to cancel, but after being placed on a 450-minute callback list and then put on hold until they hung up on me, I had no success. I already found another site and had no shipping issues or requests for separate payments. I expect them to keep their word and not send me these items.

I've done plenty of previous business with CJ Pony Parts previously with no worries. Now there's a serious problem and their customer service out and out declines to address. I ordered an AWE track edition exhaust system for my ***, invoice #***, and at check out CJ gives what they call their "best deal" for shipping: $133 for the exhaust ordered on 28 February Monday, delivered 3 March Thursday. This is the first option and is literally highlighted as the best deal. Check the tracking number on Wednesday now the delivery is for 4 March Friday; check the tracking number Friday delivery is now 5 March Saturday. What did I pay the $133 for?! Call customer service and they refuse any satisfaction saying if I had ordered overnight or 2 day I would have grounds but they cannot help in this instance. What did I pay the $133 for then when free shipping is just 3 more days out?! Blatantly deceptive. Keep the lousy $133 and you will never have my business again.
I placed in order for a gas tank in october or november and called to cancel the order, the order was never cancelled and was shipped and delivered and i never received the item. now they are saying there is nothing they can do and i am basically out of luck of 300 dollars. such a horrible company!
I purchased a performance exhaust from this business on last Thursday evening totaling over 700 dollars. *** delivered me the incorrect package on Saturday because it had two shipping labels. One being mine and another customer that the package was actually for, that contained urgent time sensitive cold packed medicine. The driver wouldnt take it back immediately until I opened it and reported it to their customer service. After I did he came back on Monday and took the package from the porch unattended. CJs and myself both filed a claim. They contacted CJs back and supposedly it was denied. And they said they can't do anything about it. I would like a refund or a replacement package.

However, this is not stated anywhere on the advertisement or in the invoice. The only stipulation is that the parts be unused, which these parts were. Therefore, the listing for the items is deceptive in that it is not clear what the terms for returns are. Furthermore, they claimed that it was an original packaging issue, even though the parts arrived in a plain brown box in clear plastic bags. Finally, the listing did not make clear that this part would not work in conjunction with other aftermarket parts, another detail that I view as deceptive. The representatives I spoke to expected me to have all of this knowledge at the time of my purchase, though it is listed nowhere. Now because of their deceptive advertising and needlessly complicated return policy, I am left with some very expensive and useless plastic and spark plugs. As a side note, the first representative I spoke to was so positive that they would do nothing to help me, that she happily exclaimed that any other manager would simply agree with her, a sentiment that added insult to injury. Though the other person I spoke to claimed to have tried to assist me as best as he could, I have my doubts. I have been completely soured on the brand and will do all that I can to ensure that others don't fall for their poorly written and deceptive item descriptions, and their unfair return policies.

I purchased a set of headers from CJ Pony parts on 7/22. I was given the run-around for 18 months with several promised delivery dates missed. After exhausting my patience, I requested a refund. They stated they'd process the refund on 12/1 but my account has yet to be credited. It is almost impossible to get anyone there to answer the phone, return messages to be called back or respond to emails. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.Thank you
CJP 15" steering wheel. ONLY 1000 miles since install, two of the bars that connect the outer ring to the center hub have broken loose. When removing the steering wheel to further investigate, I discovered the horn ring trim also had a major failure. The steering wheel has countersunk holes; the horn ring has counter-bored holes with a flat pan-head screw. The screw literally punched out the material in the horn ring (similar to a washer). The counter-bore is way too deep leaving only 1mm of material between the bolt head and steering wheel center. I would imagine this to be a major safety concern and could result in injury. Is it safe to use this steering wheel kit?

Ordered a custom a bench seat and door panels for my pickup truck from this site. The items as advertised and described on their site are BLACK which is what I ordered. The items sent to me were upholstered incorrectly and are GREY and do not resemble what was advertised and what I ordered and by their own admission do not even match each-other; apparently even two different greys were used BUT NEITHER OF THEM ARE BLACK. After 6 WEEKS of going back and forth with them they agreed to take the items back but that they would not pay for shipping. I told them I am not responsible for the high cost of shipping back an oversized item that was made incorrectly using the incorrect upholstery and wasn't what I ordered; that they made the error and needed to cover the return shipping. Then they again responded it looks like the material used was incorrect and do not match and we are trying to sort this out with the seat manufacturer. Two weeks have again passed with no word nor response to several emails. The last email I received them was regarding a different customers order that has nothing to do with mine (clearly showing their inability to handle any sort of customer service) 10 days has now passed since I requested a return address to have these items returned to them then file a lawsuit to retrieve my shipping costs if they are not going to pay for them; and they will not even provide the return address. Their customer service has been probably the worst I have ever experienced with such a supposed reputable company that I have used in the past with no issue.

I ordered a rally pac with item number and Invoice on 9/21 (attached conversation via "CHAT") stating compatibility with modern ignitions. Post-installation, I learned an additional $100 part was needed, contrary to CJ Pony's claims. After troubleshooting and contacting manufacturers, I was informed about the extra cost. I discussed this with a representative at CJ Pony who promised a supervisor would contact me, but I haven't received a response. I've sent multiple messages requesting to speak with someone to resolve this. The advertisement now includes a note about the necessity of an adapter for certain ignition systems, which was not initially disclosed. A representative offered me free overnight shipping for the adapter, but I've yet to receive further communication or a call from a supervisor. The company remains unresponsive to my follow-up messages.

Order for a set of rims/tires for a 1967 model confirmed on 1/11/2022 for $1,698.22. Post-order, we faced stock inconsistencies, with updates varying from unavailable to partial stock, until resolution on 1/24/2022. Due to inclement weather in Washington, inspection and installation were delayed until 4/17/2022. Upon fitting the rims and tires, one tire damaged the fender due to incorrect sizing indicated on the rim versus the tire. The error, originating from CJ Pony's assembly, led to a fender repair costing an additional $200. Customer service was unhelpful due to the lapse of the 60-day return period. Professional rectification cost us $89.73. Despite requesting reimbursement for the remounting and repair, there has been no response since 4/18/2022. I am seeking $289.73 in compensation. CJ Pony Parts claims to prioritize service and product quality, yet this experience suggests otherwise.

On Jan. 2nd I ordered car parts from cj pony parts. Order number ***. I received those parts on Jan 5th. Upon receiving them I realized there were parts missing ( 2 front bump stops). I called and they said they would check into it. A few days later they said they would have to contact the manufacturer. I called a week later for an update because they would never update me at all. Every time I called I would get a different excuse. Finally after 3 weeks of waiting and 3 phone calls asking for an update I called on the 21st and told them I need an answer today and either will return the product I received or want a partial refunds due to the inconvenience and disgraceful customer service being that I had this same issue last time I ordered from them but I had let that one go with no resolution. Finally I received the missing product on Jan 29th. 27 days after I ordered it. I understand shipping can take longer these days due to the current economic situation but this wasn't about that. This was about a company that kept sweeping me under the rug and not taking action. The last time I called and demanded an answer they magically had an answer but they didn't the other times I had called before. After I received the missing parts I reached back out about a partial refund (I'm not requesting a full refund, just half) and was told that it would have to be approve by a supervisor and that the request has been sent to them. That was 2 weeks ago and I've since sent 2 follow up emails asking if there was a resolution and again no response. The total amount of the bill was $414.13. so I want to see if the complaintsboard.com can help me with a resolution so hopefully the next customer they have doesn't have to go through the experience I have.

The only place you can do this is https://www.cjponyparts.com/contact-us/***/, when you call the number, they send you to the form. So I filled out the form within five minutes and they send me both orders. I called to ask why, This required a phone call back, two days later, because they were "too busy". I missed their call, so I had to call again. They called me back and the line was complete static. So I had to call back again, they do not call more than once. I call back, they put me in the queue AGAIN and call me back two days later. They said they had already shipped it, So I needed to pay for return shipping. I filled out the form to cancel within five minutes and there is no other way to cancel and you're saying you shipped it within five minutes? I doubt it. I told them it was their mistake they sent it and that I submitted the cancellation, so I was not paying return shipping. I would GLADLY send it back with a label though. The items are still unopened and able to be sold. Transfer to a supervisor, which requires a call back. At this point, I had already filed a case with my Credit Card company, they said I was liable and needed to work with CJs. Supervisor tells me "Ok I need to see the credit card finds you liable statement and I can process this". He sends me the email 2/21/22, I reply at 7:09pm. (frommatthewcj and dispute.png) That was the last I heard from them. Called Saturday, 3/12 to see what was going on, entered in the queue for a call back. I receive a phone call today (3/13) saying I need to pay for return shipping because "it was already shipped". I am in line for another call back from a supervisor. At this point I feel I am getting the runaround. I just want my money back - and will gladly ship back this order they erroneously sent. I just need a label.

Ordered a set of Corbeau seats for my 83 Mustang which included the rear seat upholstery. Order #*** for $1571.40. Two front seats were fine, but they sent the incorrect rear seat configuration. They sent a split back (two-piece), mine is a one-piece back. I have owned my car since 1985, so I can confirm these are the original seats. When I emailed, asking for a replacement, they said they could "not process a refund or replacement" since this was a "special order". The mistake is not mine, as I ordered for a 83 hatchback, and obviously this model came with this one-piece back seat configuration. CJ Pony Parts must have incorrect listing for this model, so all I want is a replacement. Over the course of two weeks, and after several emails and three phone calls (and waiting on hold for 20-30 minutes each time), I finally got to speak to a "Supervisor" (***), who hung up on me when I asked if this was a supervisor (or else the call got dropped). He called me back later that night and I explained the issue to him. He refused to admit that their system incorrectly did not list the "one-piece" seat back upholstery to fit my vehicle, and that it must be a "coupe fitment". However, as I explained, I do not have a "coupe". He would not agree that their system info was incorrect, and said I must be mistaken. He again said they could not issue a refund or replacement as this was a "special order" because "they only sell one or two of these a year". It may be for them, but not for me! So now I'm stuck with a $300+ part that I can't use. The rear seat upholstery is in it's own box, and can easily be re-sold, so all I want is the correct upholstery. I'll even agree to pay return shipping, if that's what I have to do. This is clearly their mistake, and they need to make it right, even if it costs them $300! Attached pic shows that when I do an on-line search for my rear seat upholstery, CJ Pony Parts even shows a pic of the correct configuration!

In January , I purchased a new upholstery set for my vinatage mustang. Upon instalation found the back seat uphostery to be defective. This was after already taking out existing uphostery and disposing of it. The new upholstery had gathered seams where it wont lay flat and is sewn crooked and does not fit properly. Once this was discovered I called CJ Pony Pony parts on Feb 7 and discussed it with a female Customer Service Agent. She asked that I send pictures and a supply the invoice number which I did. She called me back and informed me that they would immediately send replacement. After three weeks and no replacement I called again. I was told she no longer worked at the company and no one followed up on her emails, calls or committments. I started the process over again this was on or about first of March . This time I spoke with a gentlemen by the name of Matthew J. He responded positively to my concerns and said he would address the problem immediately and get the new uphostery out to me right away along with hog rings as all of the hog rings I purchased with the upholsterey were now all used up on the defective part. I once again supplied pictures and invoice number. Weeks later still no shipment I reached out to Mr. J via email on March 22nd which he returned and said now that he was still working on it. When I asked him about the other rep named scott M said that was him as well. Odd that he was using two names. Mathew told me that things were slow and he was working on it. Several weeks later I tried calling and was continully being put on hold and my call being hung up on by the other end. I even tried their call back program with response times on many different occasions with feedback being they would call me back anywhere from 420 minutes to 960. When the call came it also would hang up on me. Truly a poor communication system at best. I then tried callin and putting Mathews x number for his phone in and that hangs up on you which per his emails previously was X926. On March 31 I emailed Matthew again. I recieved a response from Matthew the same day saying he has not recieved it from the manufacturer. I again emailed Mathew on April 15th for an update. Matthew emailed me back on April 20th saying the manufacturer is backed up. In the meantime I have kept trying to call with the same poor response from the phone system at CJ no call back and hang ups from CJ. On May 8th I sent a request for an update to Matthew J no response. Tried calling again no response. On May 21 I called and sent Mr Matthew J another email asking for status. No response. On June 15. 2020 again tried calling and could not get through again Mr J phone extension just hangs up. I emailed Mr, Matthew J again on July19, 2020 with no response. I have continued to call and have had no sucess getting anyone let alone Matthew J on the phone. I would have expected better service than this. At this point in time I just want my uphoster or my funds paid refunded to me so I can buy the parts elsewhere

Amanda - Oklahoma I placed an order for part # ISRN2 on 2/20/22. Website never said part was not in stock or on back order. Never received email with package tracking number. Called back on 3/3/22 and was told the item had not shipped, so they contacted the warehouse and assured me that the item would ship the next day. Called back 3/8/22 and was told again that the item had not shipped. Gentleman placed me on hold, said he reached out to the warehouse, confirmed item has not shipped. He apologized, then promised me that the item would be shipped to me via 2-Day air. Called back on 3-11-22 and was told by rep. named Chris that the item is not in stock at the warehouse and on a 4 week backorder! I asked him if there was a reason that this information was not available the other three times that I have called. He could not give me an answer. This was my first time to order from this company since starting restoration on a truck. I planned to order more parts in the future, but this will not be the case after this first experience!
Jason- I placed an order with CJ Pony parts on March 4th, 2022 for BBK Headers. The website never stated they were shipped, on back order, or unavailable. They withdrew the money from my account and almost two months from the day ordered never heard anything from the company. I called the company several times and the only response that I would get is that they would check into it. They would never return my call or send me an email with an update. Let it go for another week and called again. I was told that they sent emails but they would not get a response form their distributor. Them trying to call them would have bee nice. Received the same response as the first call, they would check into it. I called again and asked for a manager. I was advised that they would give it to him and then have him call my back on the same day. Never received a call back. Called back the next day and was then told the manager was out on covid and the other manager had left for the day. Called back for the final time and was told the same thing the next day. Final called again to request a refund. We will see if that goes through or I have to report to my credit card company. Worst experience I have ever had ordering parts. The only reason that I went through this company is they had a small discount code. This was not even worth the hassle and time I have dealt with this company. I have a mustang and am always trying to replace parts and restore the car. Thought this would be a good site, I was terribly wrong. Go with one of there competitors, you will be much happier. I went to another site and ordered the same part and will have it in less than a week. Crazy!
I am totally restoring my Grandmother's 1968 Mustang Coupe GT 302. Over the last 6 months I have spent over $11,000 with CJ's. Many of the parts I have ordered that are supposed to be direct factory fit are not correct and have to be modified to work, and in many cases can not work at all. There customer service is impossible to get a hold of you will spend an average of an hour to an hour and a half on hold. If you ask to speak to a manager their is never one available. Many times they cancel an order and don't let you know. When you return items, their policy states you will be refunded in 5 days, but that seldom happens, customer support tells you it's 5 to 7 business days. Most recently I sent a return that was a manufacturing flaw and does not fit. It took 3 months to get them to authorize a return because it was just after the 60 days. I sent the return to them and they received it on May 5th at 10:48AM. I called them on May 13th because it still showed processing and they had not returned the money. They assured me it would be taken care of and refunded that day. It was not. I called them on May 16th and was told they were processing the returns from the 5th and please give them 24 to 48 hours to have it completed. 48 hours later it still hadn't been done, so I called them again. I was told that they could not get a response form the return department and they would send me an email as soon as they heard back. 4 hours later still no response, so I called again explained what was going on to the representative and asked to speak to the manager. He told me that the manager was at lunch and would be back in 15 minutes, and he would have him call me right away. That was over an hour ago and of course no return call! I strongly recommend if you can get your parts from another vendor even if it costs a little more, do it.
