We purchased our home in 2019 with the home being placed on our lot in May 2019. It is a summer/vacation home so we are not using it every day. On Memorial Day our toilet would not flush and our kitchen sink was backing up (no garbage disposal.) Husband went under house and found plumbing leaking underneath and insulation soaking wetI After calling professionals, it was found the pipe had collapsed as the plumbing was not placed nor secured correctly. The sewer had been backing up for lord knows how long! Our project manager said it’s not their fault, refused to review pics, wouldn’t tell me who they outsourced the plumbing to, and stated i would have to go after the county inspector who approved it.
Problem #2 - Now we have 8 water stains on our ceilings in 4 different rooms from roof leaks. The worst is near our furnace where the wall, ceiling, and crown molding are soaking wet! Insurance examiner stated numerous shingles were not sealed and plywood was not installed correctly leaving a space between. Water is actually dripping down through the bathroom ceiling fan above the toilet! We can even hear water dripping days after it has rained!
Desired outcome: Requesting response and repairs be made free of charge!
