My Wife went up to do some basic shopping at this supermarket this evening on the 24/07/2011 at around 5.45. The staff here can be quite rude and have not much customer service. There were 2 incidents that occured. 1. An employee had a trolly and my wife had to get out of the way with out the employee saying anything, its like my wife was expected to move and like she wasnt there. 2. She was was walking up one of the isles and another employee cut her off and my wife had to stop other wise they would of collided and he did not acknowledge she was even there.
Coles customer service needs a shake up, people need to learn manners and use them. People should be thankfull they have a job in these tough times but a smile or a hello or a sorry is all it takes.
approached the checkout in coles on 27th aug around 1:30pm. I placed my basket on the counter waiting to be served when a rude female employee named SAM started grabbing my shopping and slamming in on top of all the other items out of the basket. I told her to stop smashing my groceries and she commented she was getting them out quicker this way. I am discusted that this woman is anywhere near the public let alone serving them.
Also her button up workblouse was so small that everyone could see her bra gaping out the front.
I shop at this Coles almost every week. Several weeks ago I noticed I was being followed by a staff member as I was checking my shopping list on my phone. Thought nothing of it at first until I reached the check out and the young man gestured "huh?" to a person behind me ( obviously indicating to check my bag, I found out as I turned). I let them check my bag but was not happy at being targeted. Just today I noticed the same thing, this time the supervisor was waiting a little near the entrance watching me and the whole process. I am feeling very harrassed at these people assuming I am a thief (I am an experienced teacher who definitely does not look like a criminal). Any ideas apart from never shopping there?
found the same problem at Coles Templestowe. Today they had Decor products at half price.l picked ujp 2 items marked $2.24 but they rang up as $7. something. The COC tried to call the front desk but they didn't answer. I suggested with her free hand that she scanned the other items as customers were building up.Finally l said dont worry l will pay and go back and check it out. I found a staff member to show them the price and they agreed l should get them at the "signed price" as we walked away l picked up a pack of 4 toothbrushes marked $2.00 but quickly noticed they too were miss priced. When l showed this to the girls she siad, What do you want to do, go around the store and find items that are mispriced. Finally when l got to the check out supervisor she said l should have read the small print. They didnt offer me any glasses to do this and proceeded to tell me l should have know they would not be that price . i feel like l dont want to go back into that store l seem to find something each week .
On numerous occasions of frequenting store the out of stocks for Coles 3kg dog food roll is mostly unavailable or in butchers cool room. As I have 2 dogs I would like to purchase these items fortnightly. On speaking to butchers the excuse is we forget about it because fridge is in pet food aisle. I then have to drive 15kms to another store Coles Dapto to purchase these items. This has happened on at least 6 occasions. I am very dissatisfied with the explanation from store. Comment made by one of the butchers is we have halved sales since opening new upgraded store. Any wonder with the lack of customer service provided. This also happens with 3kg bag pet mince which is also purchased at same time .Saturday 15 th December was last shop for me in this store. Complaints are treated without care by store staff. Very disappointing.
Hobo have attached photos of ur meat pies we purchased at ur Maroochydore store and had to throw it out as would never eat something that looks like that it was missing the side Pastry and half the meat on the whole set of 4 pies
Once again, I get bad customer service at Coles Mornington. I am not expecting too much from them these days after the last time they were bad. However, this time they did it again. I bought an item because it was on sale. An item I would never have considered, but it was on sale. Get the register, its now $16.99, was on a shelf with $3.00? I said, no, its on sale, ask someone to go and have a look. There are three cans left and they have a tag for $3 directly under them. The manager, (girl) no experience at all. Comes back and said to me, "Oh that was for a body scrub and there are none left of that". I said, "Well why are there these items above it?" Is this false advertisting. Doesn't Coles have a policy? Doesn't Coles honor their screw ups. WEll apparantly not, she said you can buy the $10 one next to it or nothing. So I reluctantly bought the $10 as I was holding up the line. I said to the girl, "You might want to sort that out, so other customers do not get dupped". She just looked stupidly at me. It amazes me that Coles do no honor their ### ups, that they do not hire responsible customer service managers. That they constantly over charge or false advertise and when I kindly bring it to their attention, I get no 'sorry', not 'lets sort it out for you', no 'we will honor that as its our mistake'. However if you go to Safeways they would honor their screw ups every time. Coles, is honestly the worst supermarket in Mornington. Unfornantly for me its the closest. Should put me in managerial position because I would do circles around the staff they currently have. I can honestly say to anyone shopping at Coles, to be careful, check the screen, watch what you are paying for, because they are making money from their customers. This has happened to me twice in a span of 3 months. WArning to all Coles Mornington Shoppers!
Cooked this dessert by the directions and in the oven proof glass bowl it comes in ..my partner but hes spoon into it and heared a pop he then went to eat it but the glass was after smashing ..
I found a piece of rubber in a small can of coles lemon and cracked pepper tuna! Not happy at all. If I had eaten that I could get very sick! Looking into taking legal advice. Have taken photographic proof and am going to Persue this!

I purchased some Turkish bread in coles port macquarie & obviously coles & or their baker does not know what Turkish bread should taste like. Do not insult your customers ! by selling this rubbish.
I bought grapes 2 days ago and yesterday they already started to go mouldy. I was also shopping last night to buy navel oranges and there was a mouldy orange in almost every bag. I will not be buying fruit or vegetables from coles again.
