I purchased Cometchat plugin and its related APPs, SDK and Desktop Messenger after reading the instruction and description of its features, and my nightmare began. The plugin was not only failing to work properly, but caused the slowness of the whole site. The chat could work only among the 4 sample users, and you could not add new users to a contact list. There are totally 38 warnings and errors with the Cometchat.

I contacted the support and the guy named Salam answered my ticket a couple weeks later promising to let their developers to fix it. They did nothing to solve the bugs during the whole licensed year, then they asked me for more money to extend the license and much more $$$ to move my self hosting to their cloud hosting. Yes, this terrible scamming group based in India just care about money only.

What is more that they never ever game the right APPs packaged, never ever game the active SDK and Desktop Messenger.

They ever did not fix the dozens of bugs, but refused to refund me. They overstated the features of the Cometchat features to induce customer to buy, and took the cash and left nothing working. Don't buy this terrible scamming plugin to avoid loss!

We purchased the premium "White label Mobile Chat app" product to implement on ur website. We still have not had a completed and correct veriosn for IOS or Andriod. It has now been over 4 months and still CometChat has not completed the IOS version and the Andriod has bugs. We have no custom requirements and provided everything required. The real problems is that their customer service takes on average 5 days to respond and they refuse to provide simple and easy direct contact details to quickly resolve any issue. We have written to them with firm and harsh requests but still they just say sorry with no real outcome. CometChat is not actually a company and the real company they hide behind is as follows, however you wont be able to contact anyone at this phone number. They completely avoid any direct contact . You will get plenty of apologies but no result which can cost you massive amounts of time and money waiting for their poor product delivery (it wont work as they describe ) . We have asked for their managing directors details to complain to and their board of directors and they refuse to give any response above a support team leader. This is dangerous for any company needing a partner of third party important applications when you cant contact anyone who is a owner, director or actually important to resolve a issue. Its not that we are talking about a issue over a week we are talking about in excess of 4 months and a refusal of Cometchat to allow resolution in a more direct and personal manner.

I have registered on the website of COMETCHAT. I hoped to chat with other people, but the company didn’t provide the password, so I couldn’t log in to their main website. The worst thing was that they didn’t respond to your emails and requests. I was so upset and terrified at the same time, because they have my personal details and I couldn’t reach these people.
