Complete Savings / Complete Save unauthorised payment

On 21st August CompleteSave.co.uk attempted to debit my account with £15.00.
I had not heard of this company until I received an unsolicited e-mail to which I replied asking them to take me off their mailing list. When checking my bank statement two days later I saw a pending payment to them to the value of £15.00. Later the bank informed me that this amount would have been deducted monthly.
I consider myself lucky to have seen this transaction before it was completed.
I regard the transaction to be fraudulent and wish you to investigate further.

Complete Savings / Complete Save scammed out of & pound;30

After shopping on simplybe.co.uk there was a panel at the side of the payment page it said take this short survey and receive £10 cash back, so I click on it (stupidly). Then last month (July) I noticed £15 had been taken from my bank account and again today £15. I don't remember giving them permission to take the money and I don't remember seeing anywhere that said that they charged for any services. please can advise on what to do next. I've contacted them via the above website and requested a refund of the £30 and for them to not take any more money.

Complete Savings / Complete Save scam - taking my money!

Hello, I just checked my bank account transactions and I can see that a company I believe called Complete Save has been taking £15 a month on the 11th or 12th of every month from me since at least 1st of January 2015 (I have not yet gone further back in my accounts but intend to. I have researched it and I believe they got my information (like many others) from a thetrainline website. I am a student and it seems students who buy student tickets often get caught out by this. I would very much like to be reimbursed at least from 1st of January and at the VERY least need to terminate the transaction.
It looks like this on my statements

I contacted completesave and discovered a payment was deducted when I made a Travelodge reservation. Please see response below;

Please be assured that Travelodge did not pass on your credit card details to Complete Savings. The only way we could have got your details is that you entered them into the Complete Savings signup for and agreed to the membership. There is no other way we could have gotten your details.

As you requested, your Complete Savings membership has now been cancelled. A refund of the monthly membership charge has been processed as an accommodation to you since our records show you have not used the memberships services. Your bank should post this refund to your account within the next ten working days. You will not be charged the monthly membership fee again.

I hope I have resolved your query to your satisfaction. Please don’t hesitate to contact me should you have further queries. My son has just been scammed. He bought some protein shake and this was offered to him offering him discount code. He has only lost £15 but that's a lot when you are still at school. I will be on the case tonight and will have a tighter reign on his account! I hate scammers

Complete Savings / Complete Save unauthorised regular charge

Since December 16th 2014 a deduction for £15 has been made monthly from my Barclaycard account. I did not make any other purchase through Barclaycard that day, and do not know how they obtained my details. I have never authorised such a payment, and have never received any benefits from this organisation.

Complete Savings / Complete Save unauthorised payment

Check your credit card statement! I bought a flight via opodo and at the end the the process there was a option to get a & pound;30 voucher off the next booking. So I signed up. And then forgot all about it. Next thing I have monthly & pound;10 debits on my credit card statement. Essentially 'complete savings' is a membership scheme and you pay monthly to get online discounts. It's a complete scam. I cancelled the direct debt with hsbc (Very helpful) and then called complete savings. They cancelled my membership quite promptly but when I asked for a refund they were initially less accommodating. So I suggested they were in breach of trading standards and that I would write to the media. They then said they would refund the charges. Call [protected] if you are in the same boat. To be fair it was sorted out in five minutes.

Complete Savings / Complete Save unauthorised payments

I have noticed today that £15.00 per month is being taken from my bank account without my authorisation. I contacted my bank, Santander who informed me that the company are regularly doing this to people. Apparently, if you book a train ticket and click on the 'get £10.00' off your next ticket deal, you are signing up to this scam by default. I never got my cheap train ticket or even any e-mails to say I had signed up to this. I merely see that a 'card transaction' in favour of this outrageous and dishonest group has been taken without my knowledge or explicit agreement. I intend to make this theft of my monies into a serious complaint. The company had better beware of how far I will go with this. You are thieving ### and in my opinion need investigating for your corrupt practices. I intend to make everyone who will listen aware of you and your dishonesty.

Complete Savings / Complete Save unauthorised money taken

Discovered today £15 per month had been taken from my bank account since November 2014 by this company who I have never head of. When I contacted them I was informed I had ticked a savings box when booking train tickets on line, but as I hadn't taken up any savings they were able to use my bank details to withdraw money! They offered to return 3 months money but I would have to complete a refund form for the remainder. An unacceptable and illegal practice. I have contacted the Train Line too.

$12.00 began appearing on my Barnes and Noble credit card. I ignored it for a while then began to realize that I was not getting anything in return. So I complained to Barnes and Noble who arranged for one twelve dollar payment to be taken off my charges. But the $112.00 has begun to appear again. I want to be taken off their account list.

Am being illegally charged 12 USD monthly on my credit card by this merchant called Complete Savings. Never noticed this somehow in the midst of numerous other transactions up until this month when I have made no transactions whatsoever against my credit card. Traced back and found that this is being charged since Dec 2009! Please bring this merchant to book asap - its appalling.

When I checked my online checking account on May 29, there was a $12.00 hold for a membership to Complete Savings to be deducted from my account on Monday, June 1, 2010. When I tried to contact them by phone, I got a message to call Monday to Friday only. I then went to their website and e-mailed customerservice@complete savings.com to cancel the service.

Complete Savings started charging my Chase card $12/month when I purchased a netbook online from TigerDirect. I never agreed to purchase their service, never used their service, and didn't know I was paying for their service for the last 13 months. I've never even heard of them until I notice this charge on my CC.

I am filing a complaint with BBB.org today.

Complete Savings / Complete Save falsely debiting my account

Fifteen pounds was withdrawn from my account without my permission. I do not know how this company succeeded in getting my bank account details, but it was possibly through Amazon or Trainline- these being the only on-line purchases I have made in the last two months. From other complainants, it seems this company will be endeavoring to take this amount every month. I now have to inform my bank to cancel the standing order, and contact these charlatans to get my money back.

Complete Savings / Complete Save deceiving marketing

I received an email from a company called complete savings after purchasing concert tickets from ticket master. The email was an offer to sign up and receive cashback on my next ticket purchases, The only details I gave this company was my name and address. Today I noticed a €12 deduction from my bank account labelled 'Complete Savings'. I never permitted a direct debit with this company nor did I give them my bank details or receive any mention of this in their emails. I looked this up on the internet and discovered on forums a lot of other people have fallen victim also, the company use deceptive names such as 'purchase' on the direct debit so you will presume you have just spent the 12 euro somewhere it was only today when it was labelled complete savings that I became alarmed. I have never received any benefits or services from this company yet they have been deducting 12 euro a month from my bank account for the past 7 months. I also believe ticket master have passed on my bank details to this company without my permission. They are using deceptive marketing, by simply clicking 'continue' you are agreeing to a direct debit without even realising.

Hello Brian, and everyone else that as been stung by this conning company. I have noticed that they have put a customer advisor on this board (Mary) she is trying to keep the complainers quiet so that you do not spread the word about this thieving conning company. There is a major law suit going on in the states and this company goes under many names it has conned billions from innocent people all over the world. I think that all the companies that let them use their sites profit from these ill gotten gains, you may think you are buying a nice cheap ticket, hotel etc and getting a bonus on top from this company when all they are doing is stinging you for a lot more than your original discount. Spread the word about these fraudsters like they are spreading the word and conning more people. I wonder how many vunerable people have and are being continually stung by them, they must be stopped.

I never thought that I would be caught up in a fraudulent scam but as it was put to me through National Express I was gullible enough to think it was legitimate. I have asked my bank to refund me and have also been on to Complete savings customer services and told them I want a refund and to take my details of their system as they are committing fraud. They are based in Switzerland where a lot of these fraudsters operate from is it suprising. A lesson well learned for me. And into the bargain I will never trust National Express or any of the other shops affiliated to them.

I booked a flight through flybe from birmingham to edinburgh last year sometime in november. After completion of the booking, a page came up saying that I was eligible for a 15 pounds off my next flight to flybe. Tempting right? I thought so too. Clicked on the link to the voucher, and an email was sent to me. See appendix 1. Note how I do not have to...

Complete Savings / Complete Save unorthorised payments

I have just had the fright of my life. Upon checking my credit card statement I found that since February I have been scammed to the tune of £70 by Complete Savings. I had no idea who or what they are and only found out when I rang my credit card company who were extremely concerned and are looking into this for me. I understand that one purchases something on line, they are able to find your details get you to agree to joining this scheme without actually realising you are doing it. It exceptionally underhand and vile. I have never not even once had any emails from them .. no so called news letters or offers or any such things and I know this to be true as I have just checked throught my junk emails and 'blocked emails" ... nothing at all. I am demanding a full refund but could do with any advise anyone has to offer. Many thanks.

I met the same problem. I have been charged £10 per month by complete saving since last November. They took over £100 from me. I have never given any permission to them and I have never used their service. I called their customer service three times and they just simply hang up my calls. I want to refund my money. If you get any news, please let me know. Thanks a lot.

Complete Savings / Complete Save scam

This company got my attention via the travelodge website. When I booked a room with them, the message popped up that next time I booked I would get a voucher towards the booking. I did in fact receive a & pound;15 voucher. But what I didn't realise is that they had my debit card number (Presumably from the legitimate travelodge booking I had made) and before I knew it, they were debiting me & pound;10 a month. After two months I became suspicious, checked online and found it was a scam. I contacted my bank (Natwest) and they have stopped the payment. Don't go near them. They are fraudsters
