I HAVE PAID MY CAR PAYMENT AND THE
COMPANY HAS LOST OR POSTED THE PAYMENT TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT. THIS KIND OF ACTION HAS TAKEN PLACE SINCE JUNE 30TH 2009 ON AUG 20TH 2009 SOMEONE CALLED ME FROM THE COMPANY AND SAID THAT MY PAYMENT WAS 334.00 PAST DUE TOLD HER MY STORY AND ASK TO SPEAK TO JULIUS THE SUPERVISOR CAME BACK ON THE LINE AND SAID THAT HE WAS NOT THERE. AND TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO SPEAK TO SOME ONE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE CALLED [protected] AND REBECCA ANSWERED THE PHONE TOLD HER MY STORY ANOTHER 10MIN AND WENT ON TO ASK HER TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR AND SHE SAID THAT I WAS STILL PAST DUE ASK FOR THE SUPERVISOR AGAIN WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR 13MINUTES NO ONE NEVER TO THE PHONE. I CALLED BACK AND MS SMITH ANSWER HAD TO HIVE HER MY STORY AND THE SAME INFORMATION I JUST GIVE REBECCA ANOTHER 10-15 MINUTES ASK FOR THE SUPERVISOR FOR THE 4 TIME AND WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR ANOTHER 8 MINUTES . I HAVE FAXED ALLTHE INFORMATION 2 TIMES, THE BANK HAS FAXED IT 1 TIME AND I HAVE MAILED A COPY WITH MY LAST PAYMENTWITH FRONT AND BACK COPY OF THE CHECK AND THE DAY IT WAS TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT.IM NOT SURE OF WHO OR WHAT I CAN DO TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS PLEASE HELP ME

I just wrot a comment, but I have to comment again. Something is very wrong with this company, I would like to see them in court. They have called me each month, but 2, since I bought this car from a used car dealer. I pay my payments on time, they act like I am late. I know I am not, I can't help it if they don't go to their box, or cash their checks on time. All I know, I send the payments on time, even early. I am sorry that you too, are having a similar problem, but something is drastically, wrong at Credit Acceptance.

Your comments are scaring me. My first payment has already been misplaced or lost somewhere. I can't afford to make double payments every month because of such issues. The problem I believe, is that they only accept a limited number of debit cards and rely on bank drafts. The problem is that it can take a long time for a debit through the account in this manner to show up. In the mean time, they can make all kinds of claims that the payment was never received. If the accepted more debit cards and credit cards, you would have instant proof of payment. I think I am now beginning to understand the whole scam. Refuse to acknowledge payments, take cares, take people's money. Yes, something needs to be done.

What I meant in the above comment is, when I made my first payment at the dealership, my info was not at Credit Acceptance yet. So I had no choice. From now on will use bank account. However, what if they take days to draft the account, after the payment due date? Without an instant debit or credit transaction, the customer can be scammed. They can take the car, claim they didn't receive payment, and you will not know until the bank draft goes through or you contact your bank to find out what's going on.

i have been dealing with credit acceptance for around ten months now and yes they are a nightmare. it took them for ever to put me on weekly payments so in the meanwhile they where going into my account to try to take out monthly payments. finanlly they started doing weekly payments which worked for me but three months later they shut my car off and i call them and they tell me i owe over two hundred dollars which dont ask me how because they have been taking weekly payments out of me for awhile now!1 they told me if i dont come up with the money by tomarro they will shut my car off and begin the repo process. THEY areVERY RUDE people there and if i had to do it over i would never deal with them again!

Wow, I wih I would have read these complaints before I dealt with this company. I just made my third payment on time. My second payment was due on the first. I wrote the check o the first and sent it out. I got a call on the second. They tried to talk me into auto pay. I said NO! This is before all this information I just read. I am so glad I said no. In fact I'm making plans to pay the entire vehicle off. I will take a flight to their company and pay this payment in person and get my TITLE on the spot because I do not trust this company with a 4000.00 payment in the mail. Thank you all so much for the info. I would love to see this company out of business immediately.

The service is extremely poor I do not like to call to speak to customer service because they either never know what I'm talking about or talk with an attitude. I have just called to pay my bill. It is ridiculous how poor their customer service is, they sound like they don't even want to talk to me the two times that I have called. The first time was that the lady kept asking me why I have not paid my bill and I was one day late and on top of that I was calling to pay my bill. The second time was that I wanted to get inrolled in the automatic payment and the girl did not understand what that meant so I hung up the phone on her because I cannot deal with such ignorance. I hope that in the future they hire better customer service staff or not rape people on their car loan so that we can be able to get another car loan without a problem. I have tried to get financed for another car a couple times and they say that my car is only worth 1500 dollars and i'm paying almost 8000 for it. I will nerver recommend this company to anyone nor deal with it again. I will pay my car off hopefully this coming and call it a day with this worthless company.

WORTHLESS CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am dealing with something similar as we speak! They took out 2 payments on the same day out of my account and they have another one set to come out on the 16th! It clearly states in the itemized bank statement I sent them that WU Credit Acceptance took out these payments and the lady is trying to play dumb and saying that she cannot see them! BS!

I have also been victimized by this company. I have yet to speak with customer servcice, but after reading these comments, I dread what lies ahead. Is there any resolution to this mess?
