The site is a joke. My credit report is not correct nor is my Transunion credit score. I open a new account with my bank to purchase a credit card. But, they keep on showing me different credit cards saying your approve. How can I be approved for something that I never applied for. Do not trust this site.

Credit Sesame has been a consistent service to use as a reference guide to my approx. Credit Score. Though it is seemingly reporting my points to be a bit lower than my actual points (avg. score is approx. 20-40 points lower than actual), it serves well to ensure I keep my score in the Excellent range of 720+. I actually had a Sesame score of 742 a couple years ago when purchasing my new Jeep. After the Jeep dealer ran a check, my score was at 820, the largest differential I've ever seen, however, I imagine that had I joined the Pay instead of the Free membership, the points would be much closer to the actual. Bottom Line, site is secure and a great tool to have while keeping my score i check.
I am still waiting for credit Sesame to get back to me. I received an alert stating that someone had managed to get into my account and change my email address to their's, and now I couldn't even get it to my own account. I had sent them five separate emails. They don't have a phone number. And I had attached the email and given them my phone number. it's been three days. So what I did was used my other email address like I was opening a new account, answered the questions, and then it said that I have another account, so did I want to change that email address( which was the person that stole my account), to my new email address and I said yes, thereby letting me into my own account again.When I got in I noticed my income was much higher and there was a phone number I did not recognize so I changed everything, and then I terminated my account. And it can't be reopened for a year. But I don't know what information they got out of my account and that really scares me

New $9.99/ month service fee
Starting June 2923, Credit Sesame charges $9.99 for accounts w balances < $500. I received no notice of this charge. I don't use this site. They have reported me to credit bureaus for late payments of $1, to pay for these new fees. Canceling account with them is dificult but email from then Aug 14, 2023 says they will terminate my account in 5 days. Meanwhile they added a new charge, they say, on August 7, but it did not appear on my account before August 14. No response to my question, what was fee for. Then they said, cancel premium service. I checked and wrote back, I don't have premium service. No response. In another email they reference a ? Agreement. However I received no notice of this impending fee. I now am disputing charges, takes a lot of time

Sesame Cash changed its policy back in May 2023 to start charging what it first offered as free checking. I had $0 in the account and asked them to close it. There is nobody to speak to and after almost a month it charged me $9.99. Then i tried to close the account and it wouldn't let me unless my account was clear. Since nobody was answering i did this, and after a week it still shows pending and now they sent me a $3.99 fee for inactive account. It's not inactive if i'm paying! So now again i can't speak to anyone and this will just continue from what i can tell with 6 emails to them asking to close my account over the past 2 months and Still nothing.
SUper predatory and the fact you can't speak to anyone leaves you with your hands tied.
Desired outcome: I need my account closed, no more fees and i want to remove any fees i shouldn't be paying which is all of them.

Hello my name is danyiel wadkins and I have for the last 2 months been trying to get ahold of someone to cancel my subscription. No one has reached out. I have asked repeatedly in email request to cancel my service and I continue to be charged. I have also asked for a refund to no avail. The "rep" just kept saying press option #1...when I did, the automated voice just kept saying...sorry it didn't understand! There is No way to actually talk to a human. I have downloaded sesame credit loan app from Google Play Store and applied for loan, application review my documents and everything it offered me 1,90,000 Indian rupees. To avail the loan they asked to pay 5% processing fee 9500 before loan disbursement. I paid as requested but after then no one is responsible and customer service also not responding. I need my 9500 Refund immediately as my family is in critical condition and I will be filing Cyber complaint next week if I don't receive my money back. If any update call me on [protected].
One more important note - I have entered everything correctly my bank details my personal details but they changed my bank account number in personal information of the app and giving reasons like I have entered wrong account number. Initially started filling application form to get loan and submitted aadhar card and filed the requested details. Post this, it navigated to customer support and started the looting process in step by step.. started with processing fees of 25000 and additional costs in a sequential manner. After filling every thing app popped a message saying credit limit is reached and cannot sanction the loan. Overall I have paid 25000 + 25000 + 8500.

I had Fraud on my Sesame Cash Card. Filled out paperwork. Even have proof I was on an airplane at the time flying to a funeral. Was told that I made the purchase and nothing could be done. I had to contact the merchant. They don’t even have a fraud department only customer service. We’ll come to find out there is no store for the charge on my card. It doesn’t exist. But yet they will not refund my money, nor look at my proof of flight nor call the supposed fake merchant with me. Instead they are scamming my money from me. They are a fraud. I filled a police report against them s d now a CFPB complaint. Everyone should take their account and close them now. I even have proof my identity has been stolen but they don’t care.

I deposited $2500 into my credit Sesame Sesame cash account for savings no more than two weeks later the money mysteriously disappeared. My wallet and my phone were stolen yet even though, I submitted a copy of the police report they are still claiming that I was responsible for all the transactions and all the transactions are sent to a service I no longer use. I haven’t used for almost a year and have no recent ties too. You would think they would use the resources to find out who took my money instead of finding some way to not have to pay me back.

Then 3 more emails saying that the account had logged in and could increase the credit limit. I have never heard of this company, I did not sign up to this service. They did not send any emails asking the account to verify their email - since if they did they would know that this email does not belong to whoever signed up using it. The emails have no data protection link allowing me to notify them that the email is not for me. Whoever signed up with my email is acting fraudulently and this company have not carried out the necessary checks to assess this before offering them credit. I want them to close and disable the account using my email without permission.

I went to Speedy gas station on 04/18/2022 at about 6:20am . I used my credit sesame card at the tank . I put $15.96 in my tank, but I was charge $51.96 . Credit Sesame charged took that off my card. Speedy did not charge me 51.96. The pump stated $15.96

I have emailed them 3 times with no response. I have also called numerous times, but cannot reach a live person. I have left two voicemails, also with no response. I have provided them with all of my contact information and advised that my identity was stolen and my credit is frozen, so any new account opening is concerning. Given my compromised identity, I need this resolved as soon as possible.

When I expressed my desire to close my account and retrieve my funds, I was advised to file a dispute with my bank. To this day, they remain silent about the whereabouts of my money. Credit Sesame has continually increased and decreased my credit score each month for over a year with the same *** that was dismissed in 2014 being sighted as the decrease reason and no reason that males sense for the credit increase. Each month, my report is being increased and decreased in the same month. I believe this is done to entire me to pay a membership fee or use a vendor they offer for a credit card. They claim my length of credit is different in the same month with no consistency.
On February 4, 2022, I logged in to Credit Sesame to check my credit score and explore recommended offers. On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, I received two letters from unknown companies stating my loan application had been denied. On February 14, 2022, I received two more letters from companies I did not recognize. I contacted the lenders to report fraud. During my research, I discovered that Credit Sesame had applied for a car loan for a substantial amount without my authorization. When I attempted to contact Credit Sesame to report the fraud, I located the number on the Credit Sesame website. The number I called was not directly for Credit Sesame. I inquired about the affiliation and the employees I spoke with stated, "I don't know; we own a lot of companies."

I have been trying to get Credit Sesame to cancel my account, but they keep instructing me to contact customer support via email. Unfortunately, no one ever responds to my emails, and each time I call, they say they are transferring me to the appropriate department, but the call disconnects every time. $100 was "transferred" out of our checking account. The fraud department says it was by Credit Sesame using our bank account number and routing number, in my name. I never heard of them until it showed up on our account details today. Then when I called Credit Sesame, they said I have to file a complaint by email! Unable reach Credit Sesame to get these FRAUDULENT charges removed and stopped I have never made any transactions whatsoever with Credit Sesame, either free or premium. Credit Sesame keeps charging my credit card for monthly recurring charges. When I cancel my credit card, Credit Sesame falsely claims that recurring charges are authorized on my account and is able to charge recurring charges to my new account number. I have tried to call Credit Sesame to resolve this issue, but the only number I can reach is the number to open a new account with Credit Sesame. I get transferred to a phone number that no one answers for 30 minutes. Or I get a voicemail that I leave a message with but get no answer to my voicemail message. I believe Credit Sesame is complicit in making these fraudulent charges.

My credit age was 31 years with 1 credit card. They told me I needed 6 credit cards to improve my score. I was at a certain level when I applied for two, made a charge on each and paid it right away. My score improved significantly with one card but the second one unexpectedly brought my score down to a lower level today! My score is now worse than before. They get paid by these companies to promote these cards to you, telling you it will make your credit score better, but that is not true. They have reduced my credit age down to 5 years. It averages higher on credit karma with a 15.5 year credit age. Additionally, there are two inaccuracies on my credit report that should not be there. These errors have been removed from my other two credit reports but not from Trans Union, which is associated with credit sesame.
Signed up for a trial service and right before the trial end I went on there website to unsubscribe so it wouldn't charge me, I chose the options and also sent an email well the end date came and I was charged. I sent email after email. No response no refund. Called the number on the website and it's a 3rd party that doesn't have any POC. So I'm here needing assistance.

This is a service that is offered by other credit building companies, without any hard inquiries, without any soft inquiries, just looking based on your information. This is the service that I thought they were offering. Instead my inbox is crowded with all of these denials from companies I don't even know and it's a new one every day. I have cancelled my account as a result but the denials still keep coming. This is lowering my credit score which I worked very hard to get and have purposely not done any hard inquiries and now this business with their lax way of handling this has messed that up. It appears I am not the only one who has been a victim of this service and will dispute all actions once they are present on my credit report.

Credit Sesame opened a bank account in my name without my knowledge, authorization or consent. I never heard of Credit Sesame until I received a Sesamecash in the mail. This was a Sesame Debit Mastercard issued by a bank that I had never heard of either. I called the bank, Community Federal Savings Bank in Woodhaven NY. They said that they could not give me any information about the the card or the bank account to which it was attached since the card had been issued by Credit Sesame Inc. The bank said I had to contact Credit Sesame at a toll free number ***). I tried several time to get sdomeone of the phone and eventually got a woman who told me that she would cancel the card, but she could not provide me with any information about how the account had been opened. She promised that I would receive written confirmation but after more than one month I have heard nothing.

For two years, I have been receiving texts stating I have a new Credit Monitoring alert. I have never signed up for this, and am unable to cancel. Beginning in January , I began receiving a series of texts, mostly ones stating I have a new Credit Monitoring alert. I have never signed up for this service. Additionally, when I've tried to contact customer service, the automated online portal states it will only send email communication to the email addressed listed under the account. I have never created an account, nor do I want one, so it is impossible to communicate to understand why these alerts started and who is behind them. I am concerned that someone is using my information, including phone number, to access sensitive personal and financial information. I have no way to know who created this false account and what information they have access to, and no way to communicate with Credit Sesame.

I have signed up with Credit Sesame and the vast majority of the time I have not been able to login with my login information. I have recently sent them 10 emails about this and always get back an automated response with articles to review and try to solve the problem. I have tried ALL OF THEM and still it isn't working. It is obvious that it is something with their system that needs to be resolved. They have my very personal information and their lack of response leads me to believe that it is in the wrong hands. They do not take care of requests or problems. Ordinarily I would just walk away from a business like this but they have access to my personal information. I am tempted to file a complaint with my state attorney general because if my info gets into wrong hands I need to have this documented. This is ridiculous that I should have to go to these lengths. I would caution anyone thinking about doing business with them to reconsider.

Sent an email to find out how I became a premium member without giving consent and asked them to refund me and 1 month later still no action. So I found 2 charges on my account I never consented to and emailed creditsesame about the situation. After my initial first email they responded saying it was under review I never got another email after even with several more attempts of sending emails and not 1 response. After a month of waiting and telling them about the situation and to cancel so I didn't get barges again here I am with them attempting to charge me again if it wasn't for blocking them they would have got me for more money without trying to help resolve my issue. I emailed them again asking what they're thinking with .ore words of frustration and have still yet to hear from them and it's been over 24 hrs now and I linked screen shot of case number they gave me for reference in every email I sent. Bad business and a bunch of thieves is how I feel about them.

I have always appreciated the reporting that CreditSesame gives to me on a timely basis. I only wished they scored the same as credit reporting agencies who use the FICO scoring system. In any event...the service is free and still very helpful.
I've probably submitted 3 different emails using their help and feedback emails to ask about why they don't have 2FA (2 factor authentication and if they every will. Never got a reply back. they don't take their security seriously and I would never recommend them. Not worth it!
Credit Sesame has really helped me to keep track of my credit scores and raise my purchase power.
