Sesame is an amazing credit bureau. The information found here is accurate, and easy to understand, especially for people that are not 'computer wizards'. The product that I have been offered are excellent based on your credit score. The approval of the credit I have applied for is the proof. Amazing job done by Sesame!

I have been a Credit Sesame user for over two years now
I have been a Credit Sesame user for over two years now. I have found the website to be very helpful in assisting me in creating a rewarding credit worthy profile. The advice suggestions have been very precise and accurate. I have been able to keep my credit scores, alerts, and credit suggestions for a higher credit score all at my fingertips. I have given referrals to my family about credit sesame so that they can be more financially stable. I give Credit Sesame a 5 star rating.

Question not answered. Request(3491..) last sent from Credit Sesame 2/19. No reply since. They are providing information about a card that I never applied for on their site. TransUnion, thankfully does have my accounts. I'm waiting for the official report through the mail. When I first registered, they had credit card information correct. They are doing a disservice to their customers by providing incorrect information and not trying to address the issue timely. I don't trust them anymore. Please help me resolve this issue. Thanks.

That's why the 4 V.S. 5 Star rating. Though I'm still very satisfied with my ability to keep a high "Excellent" score, I would like the true point rating to-reflect this. Other than that, I am very pleased with the sites layout and showing results, Good tool to have on hand should you need to show a preview to a Seller for an approx. % amount of a Large purchase.

Credit Sesame has been a consistent service to use as a reference guide to my approx. Credit Score. Though it is seemingly reporting my points to be a bit lower than my actual points (avg. score is approx. 20-40 points lower than actual), it serves well to ensure I keep my score in the Excellent range of 720+. I actually had a Sesame score of 742 a couple years ago when purchasing my new Jeep. After the Jeep dealer ran a check, my score was at 820, the largest differential I've ever seen, however, I imagine that had I joined the Pay instead of the Free membership, the points would be much closer to the actual. Bottom Line, site is secure and a great tool to have while keeping my score i check.

Thanks Credit Sesame for your credit service! Many years ago there it was so difficult to know my credit score and the accounts listed on the reports. Today it is much better because of services like yours. I can see what is going on and take actions to Improve the credit scores. I really like how your charts show the credit score of last year up to current. I do see some issues that can use improvements though. I get suggests to apply for certain credit cards that I already have. That part does not make sense. Then another one is my credit mix. I had a mortgage that was paid off a couple of years ago. That is not included in my credit mix anymore. If lenders like to see it, then they will have to see it as a paid off account. Thanks for everything!

I am still waiting for credit Sesame to get back to me. I received an alert stating that someone had managed to get into my account and change my email address to their's, and now I couldn't even get it to my own account. I had sent them five separate emails. They don't have a phone number. And I had attached the email and given them my phone number. it's been three days. So what I did was used my other email address like I was opening a new account, answered the questions, and then it said that I have another account, so did I want to change that email address( which was the person that stole my account), to my new email address and I said yes, thereby letting me into my own account again.When I got in I noticed my income was much higher and there was a phone number I did not recognize so I changed everything, and then I terminated my account. And it can't be reopened for a year. But I don't know what information they got out of my account and that really scares me

I have sent multiple customer service requests and have not recieved a response
I have sent multiple customer service requests and have not recieved a response. I have recieved multiple texts stating that my credit score has been updating and I did not sign up for their service. I attempted to log in with all my possible emails and their system said that my emails were not in their system and attempts to recover a password for all my emails yeilded no emails either so I beileve that I never signed up for the service. I have sent 2 seperate tickets to them and have not received a response beyond the automated email saying they recieved my ticket. I have sent one on 4/16 and forgot about my request until i recieved another text on 8/7. I submitted another ticket stating the same and have not recieved and response back either. I did confirm the link was safe before following it and it did bring me to credit sesame's log in page and chrome showed it was a secure connection. I have the request numbers according to their system and the response emails.

I have attempted to reach someone about a lost direct deposit multiple times over the past 2 days with no help whatsoever
I have attempted to reach someone about a lost direct deposit multiple times over the past 2 days with no help whatsoever. I had my unemployment direct deposit coming to the card, like it does every two weeks without fail. This week I didn't receive my deposit. I reached out to the Michigan UIA office, and they confirmed the account number, routing number and verified with their automated clearing house that the payment was made. Credit sesame has yet to post my deposit, or answer my emails, or voice-mail left with their account services department. I spoke with a representative that I reached by calling the number on the back of my card, and the rep, ***, informed me that there was an error on Tuesday with Credit Sesame and their deposits, the day I normally receive my direct deposit. She told me it should have already been cleared up, and that I would have to just wait 3-5 days as government funds take that long to post... I would like contact from someone who can help me!

I lost my debit card to the account I have with Credit Sesame. I have tried to contact these people so I can get a new debit card! No one answered! I lost my debit card around more than a few months ago, the first time I contacted their support chat room, the person said that they'd send me a new card in which they did, but I never received it, I went along with time and then CoVid happened, I've been trying to have these people send me a new card ever since and it's been a circle of that there's no one in the chat room to respond quick enough let alone ask the right questions and just to give a quick response! They're suppose to know what they're doing and yet I kept getting the run around! I have money in this account that I can't touch because I don't have the debit card! Let alone there is no way for me to transfer the money that's in that account back to my original bank checking account! I'm still blessed with a job but now I'm running out of money and the only money that is left is in the Credit Sesame account!

Automatically applied for multiple loans without allowing my express consent. I signed up to view their products and in the course of me trying to find information they submitted multiple loan applications without clearly stating they would do so. The loans they applied for without my permission resulted in a hard inquiry for a secured loan that required the title to my car as collateral. I don't have a car. Then I tried to cancel my account. I used keychain to input a password and the site wouldn't accept it. When I tried to reset my password I was repeatedly taken to a landing page that said "request expired." Meanwhile the loan denials keep on arriving in my inbox. Using their service wasn't helpful. It was detrimental to my credit score. I'm now hit with hard inquiries from a lender they have a financial agreement with and neither of them stated that I would be applying for multiple loans and neither of them stated the loan was secured by title. Those kind of sales tactics are highly unethical and should be regulated.

On February 11,2022 i received a notification of an unauthorized transfer of 100.00 was completed from my sesame cash account. I immediately contacted them and my account was frozen. I received an email stating I needed to do an identification verification with the link to the site which I then completed and emailed them back stating I did so and was told it should take about 15 minutes to complete.The following day I still hadn't heard back from them and still couldn't access my account so I sent another email inquiring about when I will be able to access my money since I had approx. 480.00 in my account. I did not get a reply so the next day February 13,2022 I sent another two emails to customer support and I called the support line to talk to an actual person but when I gave them my information the line disconnected and I could not get back through. Now I am very upset because I have no access to my funds which is all the money I had and I cant get anyone to reply to me or answer my questions so I can collect my funds and close out my account.

Credit sesame hasn't allowed me to use my funds. It's caused payments to be returned which caused my credit cards to close. They still hold my funds. I started using credit sesame to keep track of my credit. They started a digital banking system that would allow customers to deposit funds and get issued a debit card. I've deposited paychecks from my employer and a transfer from my other bank and still never received my debit card. Because I have the routing number and account number I thought I can just use that to pay bills. When I tried that all my payments got returned which put me in credit card debt by going over my limit then my accounts closed. This wasn't part of the plan when I signed up. They still hold my funds and can't give me an answer to why I can't receive it. Now my creditors are viewing my actions as fraudulent which is destroying my credit history. I have 3 closed credit accounts and 2 restricted accounts all because credit sesame wouldn't allow me access to my own funds but they've allowed me to deposit those funds 3x but didn't allow me to use any of it once.

The service proved to be worthless, so I contacted them on 2/8/22 by phone to withdraw the deposit. On their website and through the app, there is no way to withdraw the funds, even though it was very easy to deposit. The instructions they give to withdraw the funds lead nowhere, as the app tells you to go the website, the website has no way to withdraw. Upon calling them on 2/8/22, the agent said they were unable to help me withdraw my money and I had to send an email. I requested to speak to a manager and the agent said none was available but one would give me a call back. I never received a call back. Email was sent to the email address the agent told me to send it to, and it has been a week later and the only reply I received was a bot reply saying their business address has changed. There is still no way to get my money back from that security deposit. I am afraid to terminate my account as then I will lose access to the login, account numbers, customer service, etc. A company that easily and gladly takes your money but then gives you no way to get the money back should be prosecuted, sued, or shut down.

I attempted a money transfer to a savings account, but the funds were not credited. On Dec 22, I initiated the transfer from my checking account. By Dec 24, the amount was debited but has not appeared in the savings account as of Dec 29. The financial institution claims the transfer is pending, yet they offer no direct contact options, only an unresponsive chat service. They suggest a 2-week wait, despite electronic transfers typically taking 2 business days. Additionally, they falsely promote free credit reports, providing only outdated TransUnion reports, and charge for current or alternative bureau reports. This company has failed to deposit my funds and has been deceptive about their free credit report services.

Credit Sesame handles very sensitive date, but has no 2 factor authentication to prove that they care about the security of their customers. On July 2nd, I realized Credit Sesame doesn't have a way to configure 2FA (2 factor authentication) when logging into your account. With all the security breaches present in today's world, I thought this of paramount importance. So I emailed them on July 2nd to inquire if they have an option like this or not. I sent the email to [protected]@creditsesame.com with the request ***. No reply. I sent a follow-up email again on July 8th, asking if they got my message. Still no reply. The same day, on July 8th, I sent another email, but this time to [protected]@creditsesame.com, this time with a request #463425, but still with no reply as of the current date July 12th. They have had since the 2nd to respond to my inquiries, and it feels they have deliberately avoided answering the question because they don't have a good answer. This is a disgrace. On top of that, there is nothing on their site saying they value your security like credit karma has. Not only should Credit Sesame respond to all customer inquiries, but they should take the security of their site and customer data more seriously by providing 2FA. It'll only be a matter of time that this company is featured on the news for a major security breach/hack. Unacceptable.

Credit Sesame has been unresponsive and has ignored multiple emails and inquiries about duplicate accounts. I have been unable to merge or access one of my accounts that I paid PREMIUM for after getting my landlord to fill out some paperwork so I could get rent reported to the Credit Bureaus. I continue to get charged for two memberships when I only need one account and am aware that I have two accounts. There has been no resolution to help me merge both accounts or keep open the one account that I wanted to keep while closing the other. To make matters worse, they've prohibited access to the account I was logging in and paying for with a premium membership, first. I cannot log in to that account with my email, ***. I feel like the company is pretty sketchy when they cannot help resolve these issues after more than a week now and I'm being compelled to lodge a complaint via Complaintsboard.com!? I feel it is time to lodge a formal complaint against Credit Sesame because I am quickly losing trust in them after calling them several times and leaving several emails with absolutely NO RESPONSE!? No resolution or customer service has been provided or rendered after a week now and I still have duplicate accounts. To make matters worse, rent reporting is not started on the other duplicate account yet the one they are denying me access to the account I worked *** to get all the paperwork done. What a waste of precious time and It's infuriating that there is still no resolution to this problem?

Banking Account fraudulently opened in my name without application or authorization from me. On 12/16 I received a debit card from *** a division of ***. My only relationship with *** was to create a free account to monitor my credit score periodically. I signed up for *** prior to 2020. When I called to inquire who created a bank account in my name, I was told I was "auto enrolled" by ***, which was legal since it was a free account. I was told I agreed to auto enrollment when I joined ***. Upon researching the banking option, it was rolled out in 2020, so I could not have agreed to a banking agreement with an entity that did not exist when I said yes to ***'s agreement terms prior to 2020. At no time was I contacted to authorize my name, social security number, nor date of birth be used to create a bank account. However when I called to cancel the account, I was told I had to give my name, date of birth and a phone number to cancel the account. There is NO OPTION to cancel the Banking account via the *** website that created the account without my knowledge. A request to cancel generates an email address to send a cancellation request to. This bank account was generated without my permission, using personal information given to generate a credit report. Yet to close the fraudulent account I need to provide someone further personal information. I received no request for authorization from ***, nor *** from whom the debit card was issued.

I called credit sesame to inform them I did not request this change. She just walked me through on changing the password. Later in the day, I received another text saying my password was changed. I changed it, again. Woke up the next morning, 3/28 to find all our money gone. I called Credit Sesame and they said they could not do anything and we would have to call Apple ourselves. Apple did resolve $*** of purchases on Apple.com but the in store Purchase of $*** in MA, they said to call the store ***. Called them, and they said they couldn't do anything and that I would have to file a police report. Filed the report and waiting to hear back. Now, this morning 4/3, I wake up to the remaining $500 on my "credit builder" money was transferred somehow and the hacker got that! Used at Apple Store *** How? After I changed passwords, got a new card number. How are they still able to get in my account and use MY money and Credit Sesame saying they issued a new card? After calling Credit Sesame before my money was even stolen, why was I not protected by them? Why were they not more helpful and apologetic and making ME work to get my money back after choosing their FDIC company? This should not have been able to happen after calling in the 27th of March telling them of the attempt of someone getting in my account. They should give me ALL my money back without having to jump through hoops. Seems coincidental that Credit Sesame doesn't cover purchases from Apple and that's the only place this thief used my money.

Fraudulent account created with my information even though a matching account with that information already existed (mine!) I have had a Credit Sesame account for roughly a year I believe. On 12/13 I was contacted and told the email address associated to my account had been changed. Per their email, I contacted their "security" team to investigate the change. On 12/16 the security team reached back out to me and told me they deactivated that account that was using my identity. "The creation of this new account had the effect of replacing your existing Credit Sesame profile". Why is this even possible? Why did it not detect that my information was already in use and deny access, or email me to confirm anything? Per this article on their site - *** whoever tried to create the account should have gotten a "SSN is already in use" message. If whoever has my information didn't have enough information about me, they sure got it after gaining access to my account. On 12/16 I reached back out and asked if any information about the creation of this fraudulent account was captured so that I could use it while filing a police report. I have yet to receive a response as of 1/7. On 12/17 I emailed their support team to get assistance recreating my account since they deleted it instead of giving me access back. Registration failed for some unknown reason, but I wasn't contacted back to help figure out why. On 12/27 I reached out again and have not received a response to that. After receiving no response, I reached out to them on Facebook messenger on 12/29 and was asked for my email and was told they'd contact me ASAP. 1/7 I still had received no response. I was told via Facebook messenger an agent would follow up via email. The email stated they reset my registration attempt (no mention of the other issue I was looking for answers to). Registration failed, yet again. I told the representative on Facebook how they had neglected to respond to my other request and was told to email them again. I feel like I'm running in circles with this company currently.

My name is *** I have a Credit Sesame account with the sesame cash debit card I had illegal charges fraudulent charges charged onto my card I had it happen on one card which was from Sesame cash by credit sesame another was by another company both were master cards, The other card in less than a month of investigating gave me back all my money because they realized that I had never been there because my signature was on no paperwork on the end of credit Sesame sesame cash it is now going on for months where I get the runaround everyone tells me a different story a different timeline they telling me business days not four weeks that they investigate that telling me every single time they change the timeframe that I call now they give me this BS story that all wall it's not on our right now it's a MasterCard said well here's a funny thing the other card as I stated was a MasterCard as well and that company with MasterCard was able to finish my dispute validate that it was fraudulent charges Because I had no signature on any paperwork whatsoever they're trying to say that MasterCard is the one investigating it now and not them because they have documentation well if that's the case how come MasterCard for my other MasterCard did investigation and stated there was no paperwork with my name on it and gave me back all my money in less than a month for the same charges at the same place kind of funny how credit sesame is now going on for months looking at the same charges from the same place with a MasterCard type of card as well I'm tired of getting the runaround and I want to sue these people I know you guys can't do that but I'm getting an attorney and I'm going to sue them because I'm done with this *** I issued my dispute in August it is now November I don't take that long, altogether the charges equal It's $603.05 it does not take that long to do a verification of fraudulent charges on someone's account as I stated I get the runaround from the reps from their managers and I'm not putting up with it anymore I have a receive my money back on my card within the next 48 hours or I will sue them I am not tolerating the goddamn runaround anymore, Does not take 3 to 4 months for a fraud investigation, specially have both cards were MasterCard and both are had to do an investigation and it's kind of funny how the other ones had no paperwork for my signature ever on any of it but these guys are giving me the runaround I'm done playing games either give me my money back or I'm gonna sue you for 500,000% more
