restroom facility
On Friday May 26th at approximately 1:27 p. m. I entered the CVS store location at 401 West Armitage (Lincoln Park), Chicago, IL, to make a purchase, but I first, inquired about use of a restroom (I am a type II diabetic). I was curtly addressed by a female employee, identifying herself as Sylvia: no restroom available to the public (no exception).

Those of us not picking up a prescription are made to wait in line with those that are. The location in jericho, Ny (by the Jericho NY Whole Foods)had a line that went from the pharmacy to the front of the store. Please have a separate register open for those purchasing over the counter Pharmacy goods/ items that require ID like Allegra D . It's not a reasonable wait for what should be a really quick purchase. Or allow us to give ID & purchase such products up front. Please.

Been purchasing this topical solution for many years. Went to renew a prescription and instead of $33.00 they want to charge me $93.00. Spoke to store manager "corporate sets prices' so I called corporate. Shannon, very helpful said the manufacturer raised the prices, False. The product they are selling is made in China and Greenstone is the importer. Price on the internet is $22.00

After spending over 30 min at photo kiosk and checking out and getting receipt I went to desk and was told printer had not been working for 4 hours can not do photos. 2 customer service people saw me at kiosk including manager at 7:31 pm and no one bothered to tell me kiosk was not working before Ivwasted my time.
TIDICULOUS inattentive service
customer service
There are two restrooms in the store and customers have been allowed to use them in the past. The employee named Efrin, when asked to provide access for my 7 year old to use the restroom respond "no public bathroom". Clearly the restrooms are not marked emploees only or no public use. He was rude and 95% of the customers are coming for medication. Now vomit or urine would have caused excess mess and customer irritaion unnecessarily. I was offended by his response am considering whether or not i want to continue patronize this location. Store#9657 in Lancaster California. Walgreens is on the same street on blvd down but because i have trusted CVS for over 15 years, i decided to let someone know. This is a new experience from cvs staff.
coupons
Today I want to the Longs Drugs store on King Street in Honolulu, I purchased 6 boxes of Maunaloa Mountain chocolate covered macademia nuts candy. I had a CVS coupon for $1 off on $2.50 of candy. My purchase was $15.29. The cash register would not take the coupon. The manager came and said she cannot override the computer.
What is the purpose of the manager if she cannot fix the problem? Do you kow what "Customer Service" even means anymore!? The CVS stores have brought down the name of "Longs Drugs Stores" in Hawaii.
I expect some MEANINFUL RESPONSE! AND NOT THE GENERIC SORRY FOR YOUR INCONVENIENCE.
On and the coupon was only expired by one day. Why does the store have a manager if he cannot fix the problem. The coupon was only expired by one day.
service from a cvs pharmacy employee
Today, May 16, 2017, at approximately 9:47 a.m., I approached the pharmacy, submitted my identification driver's license to the CVS employee, Mona. She appeared to be frustrated because I did this. When I requested information on a prescription that the Pharmacist had called me about previously, she stated in a very unprofessional manner that I would have to speak with the "Drop-Off!" Plus, as I was speaking with the Doctor's office in regards to the prescription in question, she was over-talking my conversation; calling out my name, when she could clearly see that I was on the phone. And, while still on the phone, she is constantly asking me for my date of birth. I finally handed her my driver's license, and when I did this, she stated "that's o.k.!
I understand employees who work in the public eye are given to having bad days; however, it was entirely too early in the morning for this type of conduct toward a CVS pharmacy customer. I have worked in Customer Service for over ten years, and I know how unpleasant some customers can be, however, this is no way to respond or treat a customer. Thank you!
silicone scar sheets
Hello, I bought one box of your Silicone Scar Sheets for $22.99 on Saturday May 14th. I am very disappointed in how easily these sheets have been coming off of my skin overnight and while doing light exercise. When buying this product I was under the impression this would not happen as it is suggested on the box to wear a strip for 12 hours, wash it, dry it, and re apply it. This was also supposed to be an 8 week supply, yet i have in 2 days already lost 5 of the 8 sheets! I bought these with the intent to flatten a surgical scar on my neck and a newer scar on my arm. Preferably I would like a refund, however, if that is not possible i would at least like to make this known to the developers of cvs brand products. Next time, I will go back to purchasing the more expensive ScarAway brand ones.

pharmacy staff misinforming the public and questioning doctors
This is not the first time but will be the last... I changed insurances in december due to employment change and had to use cvs as my pharmacy. Since then it has been almost every moth that I have had a problem. I have tried several locations thinking it was a location problem. Apparently not it is a corporate training issue and your policies that are in place. I have been on suboxone for 4 years now. I had always had it filled at walgreen's and never ever had a problem. Recently when I switched to cvs every time I get it filled it is something different. This last time the prescription had been sent to walgreen's by mistake and I had to transfer it to cvs. No big deal right! Wrong, because I had gone to walgreen's and been filled I had to pay cash for a partial fill. I have always been able to do partials even at a different cvs location, but this location told me they were unable to do partials and could not fill what I had left on the 1 month script until what I had gotten from walgreen's had run out. Makes no sense considering had I gotten it all together I would have an entire month at once and now they don't want to give it to me! Then the pharmacist whose name is heather was extremely rude and descrimative. She made me feel like I was doing something illegal and wrong. I get that it is a scheduled drug but because I used a different pharmacy she was treating me indifferent and it was not appreciated. So she decided that when added up I had received 41 days of medication in 30 days. Why yes I had which is why my doctor with a medical degree gave me a new prescription! Who is a pharmacist to question what a medical doctor does. Makes no sense if they want to be a doctor they need to go to med school! So she told me it would be 14 days til she could refill it. This was after I had made a 3.5 hour trip back to town because I travel for work and because of cvs policy and having a refill on the script could not transfer it to where I was going because it would have been stuck there and not able to transfer back to where I would be next or back to my home location! So heather tells me it would be at least 9 days before she could fill it. I specifically asked what date that would be so I could make arrangements for travel once again. She said it would be friday may 12th which was 5 days before what she stated it was due which I thought was a policy that you could pick up 5 or less days in advance. So specifically telling me yes that would be the 12th of may I once again made arrangements to come 3.5 hrs back to pick it up. Only this time for them to tell me that she had put a note that it wasn't due to be picked up til the 16th! I told them she had said it was due the 16th but policy states 5 days or less and I confirmed she had said the 12th. The pharmacist working was going to fill it however now they had to order it. I inquired if I could see if another cvs had it and was advised yes and they would even do it for me but that most cvs pharmacy did not open for another hour or 2 so I said I would just stop at the one on the way out of town and see. The other pharmacist said if I had any problems have them call him. I went to the other pharmacy and they had it in stock however she called and had a pow wow with the other pharmacy and proceeded to tell me they could not fill it because it would be a transfer and because it had been transferred once it could not be done again! Why was I mis informed once again! I exchanged words with that pharmacist as how ridiculous this was and left. I called the pharmacy where I had the script and told them to order it and they told me it would be here on monday may 15th by 3 pm. I said fine I will once again make arrangements to drive 3.5 hrs and take off work to come pick it up. I received a call this morning advising me that my medication had come in and they could not fill it until the exact due date of the 16th. I was extremely livid because I made the drive last night because of the bad information given once again. I spoke with heather the original pharmacist whom I had spoke with originally when all this started. She proceeded to be very stand offish and rude again. She tried to tell me that she never said 9 days and she was not filling it until the day due. I thought policy was policy. I told her that my anger was because of all the lies and misinformation I had been told and all the time I am taking off work and trips I have to make for their mistake. She seemed like she really did not care and told me it would be ready on the 16th. Point is I got several different stories, the techs all gave different info, as well as pharmacists were all on different pages. Ultimately I have had to take off 3 days of work and travel over 15 hrs all together and still have not received my medication. Seems very ridiculous not to mention jeopardizing my job, but she did not care one bit! I told her this would be the last time I deal with cvs and she told me that if I would stick to one pharmacy I wouldn't have this problem like I was pharmacy shopping! I did not appreciate that because I have always used walgreen's until I had to use cvs reluctantly! I have never been treated or questioned like this in the 4 years I have been getting this. This is not the only incidents that have occurred and I have heard of many other disgruntled customers for the same reasons! Your policies and/or lack there of and lack of training to give good information is going to kill someone. I can only imagine if it was someone who needed that medication and went without because they had to order or the pharmacist was discriminating and questioning a doctors orders and that customer dieing or having major medical issue because they wouldn't fill it. Some people can have serious side effects from not having their meds. It is very scary what cvs has come to! This is one more customer you have lost.in the course of my story I have come across 4 other people who have said the same thing. Very sad! These rude pharmacist need to get a grip, learn their laws and policies and tell the truth and quit hiding behind excuses cause that is all I have heard! This pharmacist name is heather and she works at the cvs pharmacy in gainesville, fl at nw 23rd ave and nw 43rd st. And I don't know who died and made her god but if she wants to be a doctor so bad she needs to go back to med school and if not she will get someone killed and that will be on her and cvs and I hope she will be able to live with that. Otherwise you will continue to lose customers if this stuff continues.
Here is my story read it in the complaints department this is a company wide!
All over the internet there is nothing but bad Customer service complaints, being treated like a criminal and being questioned by a pharmacist about Doctors orders. They think they are the gate keepers and the doctors Not knowing the hell any of us went thru just to get treated like you don't count.

i'm complaining about the your help the girl pharmacist in bastrop
Yesterday the 12th of may I I went into your store in bastrop texas 7860
I had to use the bathroom when I came out the door was a little bit hard to open and I got my wrist called in it.
I went up and I told the pharmacist and all I got out of her was i'm sorry and I was bleeding my wrist was swellen a little bit.
Luckily the sweet little lady that was helping people at the counter help me clean it up and put a bandaid on it. I will make sure that everybody knows how I was treated this is not right not right at all not right and I am totally irritated i'm the customer you don't treat me like that.
Nobody wanted to file a incident report or nothing they didn't have time for me. I am very ashamed of the cvs in bastrop texas very ashamed that we had them kind of people here who don't care about human beings.
unreturned credit card
On May 7, 2017, I purchased prescription drugs with a credit card from Store No. 8735, Chicago IL. The pharmacy clerk failed to return the card, and I didn't notice as I was preoccupied reviewing the drugs I received. Immediately thereafter, I left Chicago for a week long visit in Wisconsin. When I returned to Chicago on May 13, 2017, I realized that my credit card was missing and, upon learning that the CVS purchase had been my last purchase with the card, I called the pharmacy at Store No. 8735 and was told that my credit card was at the store in the manager's office. I was also told that a voice mail message had been left on my mobile line notifying me that the card was at the store--that assertion is false, as no such message was received by me on the telephone line identified by the pharmacy clerk. I immediately traveled to the store and went the manager's office. A man, who said his name is Ben but otherwise refused to identify himself, told me that the card was not there and that it was probably thrown out. I then asked Ben if he knew who threw the card out, and he responded that he didn't hadn't done it and didn't know who did. I asked Ben if any written record had been made regarding the store's possession of the card, and Ben said that there was no record. These are my complaints: (1) the card was not returned to me after my purchase, (2) despite having my telephone number, the store did not call me to inform me that the store was in possession of my card, (3) no record was made of the store's possession of my card, (4) no one at the store knows what actually happened to the card, (5) if the card was actually "thrown out" as asserted by Ben, then it was not properly disposed of, (6) CVS does not has a proper policy regarding credit cards it fails to return.
false advertising
CVS posted an ad that if you brought in 2 coupons, they would provide a free can of Barbasol shaving cream. When I submitted the required two coupons, Brittney the store manager at the CVS at 1544 Piedmont Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA informed me that CVS only allowed customers to use one coupon no mkatter what the CVS ad stated and refused to honor the CVS ad.
unauthorized prescription transfer
What I thought was going to be an easy thing to do has turned into a nightmare. This complaint is regarding CVS Pharmacy #3263 in Plantation FL. I wanted to transfer my prescription to Publix, and so I went to Publix and they said that they would handle the situation. I went two weeks before my prescription needed another refill. I called 4 days before my prescription would run out and they had not transferred my prescription to Publix. I have to go to Publix to see what the problem is. The pharmacist calls CVS and someone tells them that my prescription had already been transferred to another store. The problem is, to my disbelief, I NEVER gave CVS authorization to do this. I never went to the store or called for them to transfer my prescription. I called CVS and the person there tells me that "they never transfer a prescription without prior authorization", and I tell her "I never gave you authorization, because I never called or went there". I asked her if she could tell me what store the prescription was transferred to and she said "the system does not let me see that information". What? So you transferred my prescription without my consent and on top of that you cannot tell me where you sent it to? Needless to say, I did not get ANY help from CVS regarding this matter and acted like I was at fault. Three days later I am still trying to get my prescription. This is really ridiculous, and CVS should be accountable for this or better yet, track where prescriptions are transferred to. Again complete nightmare and really really upset. I never complain, but this is really unbelievable.
drive thru service
It was horrible! They man was very rude and explaining it like if it was my fault, till I made him call the store manager and talked to her and she fixed the problem. I had to wait about 20 minutes for it to be " fixed " . The man was trying to say it was not in the system when a month ago I just had gotten some diaper rash cream for my son. And the pharmacy lady kept saying her to my son instead of him. I was just really frustrated and annoyed. I have always been coming to this pharmacy. But never treated like this. IT IS MY LAST TIME GOING THERE THAT IS FOR SURE. The man was saying my sons insurance wasn't on file but I just came a month ago? So they gave me something without checking his insurance ! What if it was something hazardous towards him! I am very frustrated with them and their HORRIBLE service.
photo lab
Hi today I had an insedent with a worker name Steven at 3923 Garth Rd baytown tx 77521.
I received confirmation that my picture was ready so I went to the CVS at this location and My picture wasn't there I spoke to an elderly lady there she couldn't find so I left and called costumer service and there a lady answered and she said that her system said that my photo was there and to make sure she called and as well the elderly lady answered when she came back on the phone she said that picture is there.and for me just to make sure I called the same place from previous and now a guy name Steven answered I was nice about the whole run around I asked him I just wanted to make sure if my picture was there before I go again he said it's been here all day (but in a very rude way) I wasn't sure what was going on so I asked him I went in earlier and it wasn't there he told me ( do you know there's 2 CVS in baytown I said yes but where I sent it was the one by the hospital and he told me that I never called nor went in again acting and talking very rude) . I just want to let you know what happen thank you.
not satisfied
I stopped at CVS at 1200 Wilmington Pike, West Chester, PA 19382 on May 5th, 2017 in the afternoon, wanting to buy Hershey chocolate candy, on sale if possible. Saw a bin with Hershey plain chocolate large bars and the one with almonds, at two dollars and something each, plus a sign that said buy one, get one 1/2 off. So decided to get the plain bars, two of them, in order to get the sale price. When I got to the counter the check-out guy rang me up after scanning my extra-care card. However the sale prices did not come up. Thereby I commented on it and Alessandro, his name is, went to check the sign I saw for the sale on the candy. He came back not very pleasantly and said oh that sign is from a few weeks ago, they never took it down, and it is only for the Hershey with almonds anyway (in tiny fine print it said on the sign). Told him I found both types of chocolate in the same area. He just repeated the sign was an old one. Plus the chocolate came up at three dollars and something each. So having searched the store previously for a sale chocolate, taking time out of my day, and finding one with and advertised price, he was not going to honor what I saw on the sign displayed. And he was not nice about it either. Thought that unfair and not proper business ethics. I did not want to argue and just left the store disappointed in CVS. I am a good customer of the CVS, especially in Swarthmore, PA 19081, closer to where I live, always shopping there and filling my many prescriptions. Usually sale clerks are quite pleasant, friendly, helpful--but not at the one in West Chester that I stopped at. So really sadly surprised at the service I got there, I thought I should report the matter. My name is Patricia Beck and my email is [protected]@comcast.net and my postal address is 1847 Constitution Ave, Apt 404, Woodlyn, PA 19094 and cell phone is [protected]
faulty debit card processing / attitude from pharmacist
Today I had 2 perscriptions filled at the 1205 Bellevue Ave Pharmacy in Richmond, Va. The two perscriptions were filled quickly which I was happy with. It only took 15 min. When I came up to check out I was having issues with the debit card machine. The pharmacist attempting to help me (Richard) was very impatient and condescending. The system that rung me up automatically added an extra $3 donation onto my bill which I did not agree to and when I told Richard i didnt mind donating but I didnt think it was right that i was automatically charged he told me that he wouldnt help me and kept on blaming the donation on me. I am frustrated because it was obvious that the CVS debit card processor had a glitch in it and I was hitting all the right buttons. Even though I tried to be patient Richard wouldnt help resolve the problem. I will definiatly womt be using this CVS again. Poor customer service.
Did you actually read the screen on the debit reader before you started pushing buttons? In 8 years I have never once had a donation added to someone's transaction without the customer approving it.
return refund
Went to CVS located at 13933 Hwy 9 in Milton GA to return 2 lipsticks that I purchased at a different CVS that is 25 miles away and was told by the store manager Bartley that I need to take the items back to the store where I purchased them because they don't have the bar code on them and can't do the return. I told her that I'm rarely around the area where the other CVS is located and that the receipt shoes my purchase.
She refused and didn't even call the other store to get the upc number to make the return. Definitely a lack of customer service and the manager was rude. What if I purchased this out of state? Returns should not be this difficult.
When I asked for her District Managers name she said they don't have one right now which makes sense as to why service has gone down.
Not sure how long it's been since they had a District Manager but it's affecting the level of service at the store level.
My recent encounter with CVS discovered that our purchase at CVS may not be returned even with receipt and an unopened product. Their representative informed my that if a purchase reached certain amount, even with receipt, they will go through a TRE verification system. The system can deny your return. The system criteria is unknown and no one in CVS store, corporate could over-write the system decision.
Therfore, be careful and think twice when you do purchase in CVS.
