service at store 417
CVS customer service is horrible especially Mellissa the women that was at the pharmacy registrar that told her manager that i accused her of doing some wrong when i specifically said can we switch registrar something must be wrong with the machine because i used 3 different cards and the machine did not accept any of them. The manager finally had her switch the first card that i had used at the previous registrar same thing, second card i used at the previous registrar went through. Manger oh see that card works. as if the other cards did not work mind, you the copay was two dollars and some change which i had in my hand but on principle because of the service that the women were giving me i stayed until the card went through. This is third incident that i have had at this location. I since have switched to a new pharmacy. I was only there this third time because my doctor made a mistake and sent the medication there. You would think that now that they get a lunch break the service would be better.
Desired outcome: treat customers better
Breathing medicine
This happens to often with getting medicine an theres alway an excuse.
I asked for a refill of my albuterol 6 days ago. I was sent a pick up an copay price.. I went there an nobody new where it was an was told my doctor did not call it in to refill.. I have been using it for quite a while now. An another thing if you call there theres never anyone that answers. I rarely call..
Desired outcome: have them do there job ..
Sale of ebay gift card
On March 05, 2022 at 8:00 pm, I purchased a $200.00 gift card for eBay. At 1:00 pm, I used a gift card on eBay at check out and gift card had a $0.00 balance. I requested a refund from both CVS and eBay in many phone calls and emails, but just keep getting the run around. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and next will be with Homeland Security.
I am 79 years old and do not plan on letting CVS keep my $200.00. Therefore my final complaint is going to be for Elder Abuse in Massachusetts. Let's see who has the last laugh.
Desired outcome: I would like a response with an Apology and a $200.00 REFUND !!!!
Pharmacy
This pharmacy is very unprofessional. Never have the pills on time, in stock. Especially for children that need it due to their mental health. I even had the nurse from the doctor's office to call and she said that I need to switch since she has problems with this pharmacy all of the time. The people that work there thought it was funny. The store itself is dirty. Stuff laying all over the floor. Trip hazards everywhere.
Read full review of CVSMinute clinic
Today 4/16/22 I went to CVS minute clinic because my I’ll was was getting progressively worse and quickly. I was seen the day before with a horrible sore throat and cold symptoms… which I agree it seemed viral. I was tested for strep and it was negative… however Over night my symptoms were so much worse, green/yellowish drainage all night and day.. coming from my nose and coughing it up. Nothing was relieving the symptoms.. sinus lovage, cold /cough medicine. I was struggling with shortness of breath… I was met at the door as I was checking in my a nurse practitioner who stopped me and said you were just here yesterday and he diagnosed you with a virus.. I said I realize that but I’m in day 9 and my dumpy are worse not better and tried to explain… she cut me off and proceeded to tell me about studies that show virus can last 7-12 days and have green drainage… I questioned her in that my S/S were worse not getting better in day 9! She said well, I can see you but it’s viral. So just said no worries and walked out. I’m a medical professional … have been a man RN most of my life and can tell you that this is not viral and nor would I question a patient in the waiting room and question them. I’m calling to get her name because she has to be corrected in her approach. Horrible patient care or compassion.
Desired outcome: I would like the CVS minute clinic manager to know this NP was inappropriately questioning me in a waiting area and zero compassion.
billing question
It recently came to my understanding that CVS has put in a claim with my health Insurance( Aetna) indicating I had received and paid for diabetic medication Januvia on 2/20/22. This is totally false. My medication is 90 day prescription and was not eligible for pick up before 3/11/22. I filed a complaint to Aetna, and they promptly told me to take it up with CVS. I can get no one on the phone over there. I later learned that CVS supposedly "reversed" the charges-what does that mean? They are liars and this is NOT the first time something of this nature occurred. They also tried to charge me for medication that is covered under my medicare plan zero dollars for me. I believe there is more to what I am stating, but right now I want an explanation as to how they indicated on my healtcare coverage record that I purchases prescription before eligibility time. Local branch, in Philadelphia, 02222. I can't get a manager or manager's name. This is fraud and falsiifying records for their own purposes, and I'm moving it over to Medicare and State Board Pharmacy -if I don't get an answer soon. Any assistance you can render is appreciated.
Desired outcome: written explanation of why they intentionally indicated I picked a prescription, and then "reversed" it. Which I don't see on my claims form.
Service in general, and prescriptions not ready when auto call says they are!!!
Why call someone and tell them their drugs are ready for pick up and then you get to the cvs and they aren’t ready! Wasted my time, gas & patients!
Your little river, sc pharmacy on rt 17 sucks big time! The people that work there are gruff, not very nice, seem to be in a rush, no personal service, “just get your things and get out”
And your prices for products are outrageously overpriced!
I will switch my phar to another and will never set foot in another cvs as long as I live!
I’m not going to put
Desired outcome: [censored] all you CVS stores!!!!!

Care pass
I signed up today 4/15/22 at 1:12pm to try a FREE 1st month of care pass. The site showed I owed $0.00. But after I added my card info and pressed continue, it automatically charged me $5. I immediately called customer service by 1:15pm to no avail. I called again at 8 pm. Still nothing. They both tried to tell me about the $10 cvs welcome bonus as if they were paying me back; like I didnt know I was supposed to receive it. Second person gave me a # to "Wellington Claims" (supposedly for cvs). She also tried to say the free month wasn't good for signing up online; but it says so in the fine print. I have now canceled my care pass, but waiting to talk to someone about refunding my $5 that was TAKEN from my account.
Desired outcome: Refund my $5 and STOP taking people's money when it says it's free
Rhonda called me and left a message about me trying to cancel my carepass account from 1-401-770-7840, Rhode Island. I also noticed an email from CVS.com saying Thanks for updating your payment info around the same time. So I started investigating to see what they were talking about. So I called Rhonda back the next day and left a message. She called back right away, and I explained the situation. She apologized and told me that they had put my money back on my card the day before and that she made sure that the carepass was canceled so it wouldnt charge my card again. I had already canceled my carepass and hadn't gotten a chance to try it out, but at least I got my money back. Thanks CVS! I just wish it had went as smooth as planned.
I have been confused about this for awhile. I have $5.00 taken out for what I thought were for "free" delivery of my prescriptions. My local CVS is not "honoring" this fee, which I thought it was free but didn't mind paying 5 dollars a month for delivey. Be interested if anyone can explai
n this Carepass better.
It's a literal Gender tax.
Coupon not honored and rude manager
On or about March 19, 2022, around 8 pm, I went to CVS to use some of my earned coupons in the store from a previous purchase the week before. I bought snack, food items and wine for one coupon of $5.00 off. The cashier told me I could not use it on alcohol. I looked at the coupon and I explained that it was not noted anywhere on the coupon or in the store.
She went on to let me know it was store policy. I said you need to disclose that and you can't (by law) partake in deceptive business or false advertising.
She insisted she would not honor the coupon and was quite rude to me. I asked for the manager and she informed me she was the manager and her rudeness continued to my surprise.
I won't be back to that CVS and will take my business across the street to the Walgreens.
Store Manager's name was Julie.
Location Dorchester and Ashley Phosphate Road, North Charleston, SC
Desired outcome: I am due a refund of $5.00An apology would be expected at initial visit so a reprimand would be in order for her behavior for a store manager
service

Treatment by manager
I went into my usual store stor#1545 and purchased a $ 31.49 Ensure which on my reciept says its food, I had a coupon from CVS for 5.00 off any food item. The cashier said the coupon does not work because its not food when I pointed out that on the receipt it clearly said food. S refused to honor the coupon, I asked for another Manager to have a look at it, she reached around to a other Manager standing there and she just told me that the coupon dosen't work because it not the right kind of food. I was made to feel like I was a thief trying to pull a fast one. As there was a line it was extremely embarassing. The Manager/cashier # 1995226 stor # 1545. I spend thousands of dollars over the years with CVS and this has left me with a bitter feeling towards the company. Thanks, Daniel Larkin
Wow, my Ensure can be a meal, just as Glucerna and other dietary products. That was u nfair, after all Ensure is NOT by prescription, she could have let you had that!
rx for olmesartan medoxomil
On February 8, 2022 my husband had a prescription filled for olmesartan medoxomil. He is suppose to be taking 5 mg daily. The bottle my husband was taking was for 20mg and is said he should take .5 or 10 mg of the bottle he was given. My husband is 75 years old and he is not having any problem understanding information but in my opinion he was not only give the wrong doseage but the .5 instead of take 1/2 tablet per day was very confusing.
When he went to have the prescription filled they said he couldn't get a refill until after april 17th. So my husband is going a week without blood medication.
When I went to the pharmacy and explained to them what happened the pharmacist told me to call the doctor. My husband goes to Johns Hopkins for his primary and I feel sure it was the pharmacy and not the doctors office that made this mistake. I am now trying to get my husband blood pressure medication for the next week and am having trouble getting it. We previously went to Walmart to have our prescriptions filled and the pharmacist checked with the customers every time to make sure they understood what medication they were taking and how to take it. I would have expected better of cvs. i suppose we will have to change pharmacies again and we will certainly not recommend cvs to any friends or family. The CVS in question is located at 2 Compass Rd, Baltimore, MD 21220. I woud appreciate a response.
Desired outcome: They should be more careful in the future and take responsible for their mistakes.
It's literally CVS policy to deny, discriminate against disabled, women, Jews, Muslims etc.
I have been a customer of the CVS in Target at 6925
W 38 St. since it opened and have had no problems until September of 2021 when the managing pharmacist left. Since then the pharmacy has been poorly run without a permanent pharmacist and without regular help. Problems to numerous to mention but the worst visit was today when Michael Abdou the floating pharmacist was not only rude but did not have one prescription ready and another that was filled but could not be found (while I had received two messages that the prescriptions were filled.) He stated the order would be filled a couple hours later and when I asked if I would have to come back then; he responded that I would instead of offering to fill it while I waited. When I returned and stated how disappointed I was with this store and that my husband had all his prescription sent to another CVS because of difficulties here and that it would have been nice had he offered to fill it while I waited he then said HE WOULD NOT FILL MY PERSCRIPTIONS IN THE FUTURE. I was astonished and asked him if he had heard of "the customer is always right" and he stated "The customer is NOT always right" I'm still in shock and cant believe
I was treated in such a manner. This certainly is not good customer service and
this gentleman should not be working with the public with such a bad attitude!
That's precisely why he was hired! To discriminate against women.
Hired a bouncer for Muslims at 4627 N. Main Columbia SC.
The pharmacists literally hired a bouncer "Karen" and after the pharmacist lectured me on what I needed while my Doctor prescribed it! THREE TIMES IN THREE MONTHS SENT IN RX LIST TO FILL! This Karen literally was infected with Covid. I'm Vaxxed and Boosted and I hope she has horrid dreams about her behaviour and I have peace. Alhamdulilla. Ick. My spelling...

I work for CVS and this store is horrible. In the last 2 Months they told me they don't answer the phone. Therefore if you have an RX that can't be filled on the computer, you have to go in wait an hour in line and ask for a refill. Then come back and wait again. Numerous people in line complaining. Also drive thru closed due to no help. Now I am elderly and can't stand in line so have to lean on something. I leaned on the shelves. Everything is covered in a thick layer of dust and the shelves are filthy. I had dirt all over my shirt and pants when I left. Hate to do it but having to change pharmacies to one much farther away.
Desired outcome: Just making you aware of this disgraceful store.
up until 2016, my local CVS pharmacy, was great. People were pleasant, efficient, and professional. (some still are) BUt suddenly they began to do some "slippery" unenthical things( Ihave legal issues) and apparently the word has spread because my treatment ishorrible. They(CVS) has lied about prescriptions I have, and have not had, they don't answer their phone, much either. I just can't believe all the complaints people were writing about until some of it started happening to me! Lookng for another pharmacy, but nothing is close.
Pharmacy: Prescription
I went into the Pharmacy at 1401 Ben Sawyer Boulevard, Mt. Pleasant, SC. 29464 today at approximately 10:30 a.m. EST. I requested a prescription be filled for Carvedilol which is critical to my health. I was told to come back in 25 minutes to pick up the prescription. When I returned 30 minutes later the technician that had said she would fill my prescription was not behind the counter. The only person behind the counter was Tara. Tara told me she had just transferred my prescription to Amazon. Tara was right next to the technician when I originally came into CVS. Tara knew I was coming back to pick up the prescription and yet she still transferred the prescription. I told Tara that I need my medication now. That my health depended on the medication. I asked Tara if she could provide me with a 2 day supply in the interim. Tara refused. Tara said she was the only person in the pharmacy and did not have time to deal with me. Tara knew exactly what she was doing when she transferred the prescription. Tara was rude, obstinate, unprofessional and should in no way be involved with anything to do with healthcare. Tara is either simply not bright enough to understand the importance of the medication or she is simply indifferent to the care of the people that rely on their prescriptions from CVS which is exactly why I have to seek other means to get my medication. I will also be contacting my Doctor's office to see what they are able to do to stop allowing this branch of CVS to receive prescriptions from their office. I will also be filing a complaint under the FDA's Medwatch program as well as complaints with The Joint Commission which is obliged to act where breaches of quality have been identified. I will also be filing a complaint with State Boards of Pharmacy who ensure that licensed professionals retain a consistent standard throughout their careers. Tara displayed a total lack of disregard for my health and by virtue of representing CVS sent a clear message that CVS doesn't care either.
Desired outcome: I would like written proof that Tara has been reprimanded for her conduct. I would like to know what CVS will do to avoid a patient's life being put in jeopardy as mine has been put in today.
Prescription pickup
This involves the CVS pharmacy on Rte. 45 in Third Lake, Il. Upon reaching the pickup window at 1:40 PM on Sunday, 4/10/22, I saw a sign that the pharmacy was closed for lunch until 1:30 and would be opened at 2:00. While I waited, five other cars came and left after seeing the sign. This is unacceptable management and customer service. It is no wonder that this pharmacy has only two stars and is working downward.

After receiving a message that my prescription was ready for pickup, I had one of the worst experiences ever when I visited CVS Pharmacy, 401 Highway 12, Starkville, MS. Although there were no other customers waiting in the Pick-Up area and the pharmacy staff was well aware of my presence (being that several members actually looked at me, one with seemingly a smirk on her face) I waited over 10 minutes for assistance or even acknowledgement. Actually, during that time, two other people came into the Drop Off area and were helped before me.
It has been over a month since my CVS experience and I have yet to receive a survey, which causes me to believe that CVS management and Corporate Office are well aware of the behavior.
Desired outcome: Surveys could be sent to customers after their pharmacy visits, which may help in deterring that type of behavior. Regardless, it is my intent to change pharmacies--the decision that I made during my over 10 minutes of waiting.
Poor customer service
I was in the store earlier browsing for a few items when an older male staff member asked in a gruff tone if there was anything he could help me find. This tone was unnecessary and lacked manners. When I told him what I needed, he told me, in another gruff tone, that the item was to my left. He never bothered to look at me or make any sort of eye contact...

April 8, friday around 1;30 pm I I was waiting at the drive up window to pick up my prescription. There was a car ahead of me. This car took about 15 minutes for its transaction and drove away. When my turn came up your employee told me the pick up window is now closed for lunch! Why did your company make your customers wait then wave good bye to eat their lunch? I wasted 20 minutes of my time. Your website says open 24 hours for prescription! False advertisement! If you want to take a lunch break you must post the hour of lunch break visibly to the customer and stop your false advertisement! This store had a lovely and energetic lady as a manager. I bet she is no longer there this cvs in question is located at the corner of transcontinentsl and west esplande in metairie, louisiana. I have another complaint for cvs located at the corner of cleary avenue and west napoleon. I will use another space.
Desired outcome: I want the store’s reply on this incident and how they are going to handle Their lunch hour solution in a future.
On April 7th I took a Uber from my home to CVS located at the corner of Cleary Avenue and West Napoleon in Metairie, Louisiana. I no longer drive as I have a trouble with my right leg. When I enter this CVS store there was no shopping cart inside. So I went outside looking for the shopping cart. There was NONE.
Inside of the store I saw only one cashier who was busy with queued up customers. So I walked with much difficulties to the back of the store asking for the shopping cart. I was told ALL-carts were STOLEN. This store must display at the entrance door that no carts are available ahead of time. So that handicapped customers or customers with the baby can go to another place where the carts would be available, This store lacks problem solving techniques!
This experience and today’s bad experience at another CVS store are not coincidental. I suspect something is going on at CVS headquarters. Maybe they want to sell CVS to another company? Or they want to reduce the number of the stores? Worst customer experiences I have encountered TWO DAYS in a row!1.PLEASE read my other complaint as well.
