My wife and I stayed at the Days Inn, Los Angeles Inglewood Manchester Road on the evening of 23rd October 2018. My wife had previously had her passport stolen and we had to leave the free accommodation with relatives to go to the British Consulate in Los Angeles for a temporary one before flying home. We are trying to get recompense from out travel insurance. Unfortunately, the stay was arranged by phone, we received no confirmation from the hotel and when we left we were not given a receipt. The insurance company want this. I have tried to contact the hotel but got no response. Can you help me? Our names are Mr Mrs Longley.

5/16/16-10/25/16 I stay at the days inn on 3955 empire lane n plymouth Minnesota.
Which is now a (being redone) building has been for almost 2 years. Anyways on 10/25/16 when i was about 7 months pregnant we got a knock on the door from the manager (Chris) saying that we had to leave and we only had like 2 hours, now we are wondering why? Because of black mold & bed bugs! I did have quite a few bed bug bites but the worst part? I was pregnant and i had complications because i was so exposed to all of this, which could have been deadly to my unborn child. I have proof of staying there and paying this whole time from receipts i had them print off. Its taken some time to get those recipts tracked down so its been quite sometime after me staying there. But this is my compromise, i want paid back all the money i spent on this hotel during my stay here because while staying this hotel got condemed and shut down by the health department which should be telling you something because thats not easy do to. And if this isnt paid back in full i will ve filing a lawsuit with my own lawyer representing me.

I stayed at the days inn in pine bluff mutilple times, the first time was smooth with no problems, and so was the second time and third no problem with age and I was under the impression that I was old enough to stay that until this last time I tried to check in my room for the 7th and I was denied and they also took the money out of my account even tho I did not get to stay in the room . I've called back to back days . I've asked to speak with the owner of the building but he hasn't been there, but he has made it clear that he is not going to give my money back but my point is if one employee or the company is not going to allow a person under age to stay then don't do it all and I want my mney back because I had to turn around go somewhere else and buy another room . I will be looking for number for somebody higher, and if I have to I will take higher action

On November 5th 2018 .Days Inn of Pittsburgh PA. Committed fraud by taking $104.00 from my bank account. I did not authorize this transaction. When I called all the Days Inn in Pittsburgh the reply I received from all was "I'm sorry there are no records of this being done".This transaction has left a negative balance on my account. My bank statement clearly states "Days Inn" as being the culprit.

We went to days in last Saturday the 3rd November for one night room was nice the around 10pm we heard alot of banging above us then it continued till 12pm then we realised it was dogs in the room above us, it went quiet just after 12pm then at 4am the dogs started again but this time louder and barking which was ridiculous we were both tired but we're awake from 4am we went to reception at 7am but it was locked up so waited until 9am was still locked spoke to a cleaner who said it was closed till 3pm and Gave us a number to call we had a long journey to drive home which wasn't good considering we had been up since 4am, when we got home I phoned to complain the manager offered half refund so was waiting for it, then today I checked my bank and instead of refunding half the money they took another 38 out of my account I phoned and spoke to manager was really annoyed by this time she didn't apologize just said I think I know what I did, I'm not happy at all we have now got to wait another 4or5 working days to have this money back ive never experienced anything like it, this is our first time staying in a days Inn and don't think I will be staying in one again
lack of handicapped parking/access
The days in main parking lot, which also houses a wHite Spot restaurant as pat of the days inn, does not have even one handicapped parking stall. There is one marked spot on the backside of the hotel, quite far away from the hotel. If you park there you must cross a service alley that is nothing more than a rubble of broken pavement. More often than not, there are vagrants and people passed out in the alley. It is not safe on a few different levels!
I have written to the management at the Days iinn in terrace and have received NO response nor action. Others I know have complained also. This is completely unacceptable in this day and age to have no handicapped parking or access to a hotel from the main parking lot.
manager of days inn made a photo copy of my drivers license and credit card
On November 1st, 2018 the manager of the Days Inn at, 4924 Sunset Road, Charlotte, NC 28269, conformation number 82507EC011164, made a photo copy of my drivers license and credit card upon arrival. The manager would not let me view a room before he registered me in and ran my card. It only took one minute to view the room to discover that the room was very dirty and disgusting. The bathroom smelled of urine and everything in it was black with filth. The room itself was also very nasty with stains everywhere including carpet and bedding.
I now must go through the hassle of cancelling my credit card to avoid fraudulent future charges. The manager told me that it was company policy to make a photo copy of my credit card and drivers license. This is my first experience with any hotel/motel to make a photo copy of anything. This was the dirtiest hotel/motel I have ever seen.

I along with my help booked into this place for 3 nights last month. working on trucks you get to see it all I thought. we spend about 300 days a year on the road so we stay at lots of motels. I can honestly say that this dump is the worst place I have ever stopped at. the staff is Indians and that doesn't bother me only they cant understand me nor me understand them. then when we went to our room it stunk and was the nastiest dump I ever walked into. dirty towels in the shower tub and condom wrippers on the bathroom floor. we tried getting our money back but that was like asking your dog not to bark. this place should never be able to rent to anyone. the town seems to be a nice little town and the people seem to be great. we spoke to some of the town people and they told us that lots of the town people would love to see it go. we never stayed nor did we get our money back. trust me when I tell you that no one I know will ever have to spend a night in another days inn. I would like to think days inn for a lesson I will never forget.
card charges
I booked two rooms and it was Days Inn located at 2239 Hollywood Dr, Jackson, TN 38305 US through Benefit Hub (Hotel Accommodation) for July 4th night. I then proceeded to go to the location, but I did not find a Days Inn at the location. I found a Rodeway Inn. The clerk, unfortunately for me, did not see the reservation that I had, even after we showed her the confirmation email that we had from Hotel Accommodation. The clerk then said that she will give us the rooms and keep the credit card on file until their system updated to show our reservation, otherwise she would charge the card. I had no choice in the middle of the night since my initial reservation fell through.
So now I have charges for two rooms from Hotel Accommodations for Days Inn, which I did not stay at, and charges for two rooms from Rodeway Inn where I actually stayed at. So, I am contesting that since a Days Inn did not actually exist, I did not receive any services from a Days Inn. I actually received services from Rodeway Inn who actually charged my card and I am not contesting those charges.
So I dispute the charges that Hotel Accommodation charged for Days Inn. And guess what? The reply from Hotel Accommodation!
"The guest is making false claims of fraud in order to receive … money back."
I am returning the accusation right back at them:

**I am OK with Rodeway Inn charges where I actually received services, I am not contesting those charges.

I am an upstanding citizen and am OUTRAGED at the accusation that I am trying to commit fraud as stated in the notes of the letter I am enclosing. CHECK THE HIGHLIGHTED SECTION. I DO NOT TAKE THESE ACCUSATIONS LIGHTLY!
I expect to be reimbursed in full of $116.52 ($58.26 x 2 rooms).

I booked a room on 11/2/2018 at the Days Inn located at 1841 Parkway in Sevierville, TN. I arrived after 4pm and was put in room 208. I took my things to my room and unloaded and then my husband and I left to go to Walmart and to eat supper and to get some fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts and milk. When I returned back to my room at about 930 I was brushing my teeth and the sink would not drain. My husband who is a journey man took the p trap off and it was clogged with hair. He unclogged the drain and put the ptrap back on. I then called down to the front desk and asked if my husband could be compensated for his services being he makes 80 dollars an hour and we should not have to brush our teeth in a dirty filled up sink. The lady (Emily) at the front desk got very rude with me and told me that I should have called maintenance. She is right but maintenance men usually don't come out after about 6pm. We hung up and she called her general manager and then proceeded to call my room and tell me that her manager thought it best that I be refunded my money. The thing is is she only wanted to refund me for one night. I am writing you because I ended up leaving that room at 1014 pm and I would like a refund of my 134 dollars that I paid and wasn't even a guest at your hotel but for a total of 6 hours and 4 of which I was not there. I also would like to tell you that I have had an incident with the general manager (Amit Patel) but it was at the mountain melodies inn which was a total nasty dump. I would like to thank you for taking time to read this complaint and for your timely response to this issue as well as I usually enjoy the Days Inn but not after this stay.

First I want to say I have worked for Days Inn. In 1989 I worked for the Days Inn in Price Utah. I was the employee of the year. I was a waitress and the hostess and her the son the cooked walked out and quit. We had guess and people coming in to eat. I cooked served and cleaned the whole food area by myself for over 16 hours. I am big on customer service. Ok. We went to my granddaughters wedding in Utah, we are from Florida now. So I picked a Days Inn.. Shocked..I had a nonrefundable room. So I was stuck. Others did not have same problem so they could stay other places. Free breakfast a plus right. No..milk on counter during ever breakfast not on ice or nothing. No fruit no doubt or danish just same bread. Waffle mix watered down. Juice watered down. Please just take that out. Made my stomach upset. Awful. Cockroaches in room. Toilet ran all night had to close door. Aircondioning so loud could not sleep well at all. Alful...I have pictures of all. I have never complained to a company before. Even more so a company I Love. Room was in very poor shape and very bad smell. Lamp shade was literally torn almost completely off of the wire frame and very dirty.
Refrigerator did not work-when I pulled it out to plug it in the stench was horrible and the drain pan was FULL of mold and mildew. I went to nearby store and purchased a cooler. When I told the morning clerk-his answer was, "the cleaning crew doesn't like to clean."
I didn't even use the bathroom except for the toilet 2x-it was not clean. No Kleenex, no toiletries. No coffee was made in breakfast room, & nothing but stale pastries and dirty waffle makers.
I was road weary, looking forward to some sleep so I just went to bed and checked out early to find a breakfast place nearby.
I joined the Wyndham rewards and card anticipating that Wyndham would have clean rooms and breakfasts at value rates...very very disappointed with my first experience.

On 10/10/18 my two sisters and I stayed at the Days Inn-East Stroudsburg at 838 Seven Bridge Rd, East Stroudsburg, PA.
I would have to say it was the dirtiest, most unkempt hotel I have ever stayed at.
There was black mold on walls and floor. Black buildup of dirt and filth under the shower spout. Good half inch of dust behind the night stand. Even the public areas were filthy. See pictures. Grounds were not clean and green with algae. Stepping stones uneven and potential trip hazard.
I would think if a hotel is going to hang the Days Inn sign they should be subject to strict guidelines.

Hi my name is Brenda Sinard, I am president of the GGCBA, which is a musical performance organization out of the pigeon forge Tn. I am the president of the Ga. organization. My family came up to Kennesaw Ga. to stay in the Day's Inn, This is our official hotel that we always stay when we are conducting business in the area. We had come to this trip to meet with the folks at Six Flags for some performances with our artist and of course we stayed at the same Days Inn that we normally stay at. This time it was different we were told when we got there that all the rooms were dirty and we could not get in. just go away and come back in a few hours, so that is exactly what we did. We came back around 4 PM got our room, but our bags in and immediately left for Six Flags. When we came back around 10 PM we noticed that we had a broken TV remote control, the room was very dirty, the heater latch door was broken, the towel rack was torn off of the wall, no wash cloths, and the towels had been used and were dirty. We went in seach of finding the Desk Clerk and he was no where to be found, so we could not shower because of no clean towels. The whole room looked as if it had not been cleaned at all. Anyway in the morning we went to the front desk and talked to Tina, she was very nice, apoligized and told us that she was sorry and was going to refund the nights stay. I thanked her and told her that I had booked through Hotels.com she said that it would be ok just call them and tell them that Tina gave the Ok to refund the nights stay. As I got home and called Hotels.com they in turn called the hotel and Management told them that they would not refund the room fee. They said that Tina had no authority to make that call. What they didn't realize was this was the hotel that we always stayed at when in town because I did not like staying in the atlanta area hotels and this was close to the bowling alley where I take the little ones to bowl. Just want to let you know that I am very disappointed and that I will make sure that Day's Inn is not on our list of hotels to stay in ever again. We are performers and I currently have over 800 singers, song writers, instrumentalist in my Ga. association. Day's inn is also who we suggest at our Ga. state awards show. It wasn't a lot of money but it's the principal of the matter, when you travel you expect to at least get a clean room with fresh towels and we have never had a problem there before. Shame on your hotels for treating your guest in such a manner. Just wanted to let you know my frustrations concerning this trip

I tried to obtain a number for the complaint hotline however I did get the reservation hotline and the woman that I was spoke with, no I did not get her name and was very very rude and did not enjoy the service I got, the woman continue to bark asking what exactly I want it, I kept repeating does she happen to have number for the supervisor, she then threw in my face this is a reservation hotline I cannot do anything for you besides make a reservation I did not know it was against any protocol, rule, regulation or policy to ask for a phone number to another department.

Checked in to the Days Inn located in Lebanon Valley PA on Friday October 19th. Checked out within 30 minutes. Our room was filthy! Upon check in the staff was nice, lobby looked dated but ok, was directed to our room which we had to drive around to in the very back. Upon parking in the back we noticed people hanging around smoking, listening to music, and just hanging out, looked like they lived there. Walked in to the hall area, not secure area just an unlocked open door, and noticed the floor was dirty (cigarette butts, dirty sock, and food). Our room was dirty, hair in tub and clinging to shower wall, killed a couple bugs crawling on floor, sink was dirty, carpet was dirty, air conditioner was full of dust and grime, dust on every possible surface, blankets had cigarette holes in them (non-smoking room). Called front desk and complained, they moved us to a "business room". This room was no better, if not worse! General manager avoided us and hid in his office. Front desk clerk gave us a refund. Checked out and went to another hotel.

I stayed at the Days Inn Springfield on Baltimore Pike, Springfield, PA, for 2 nights Thursday, October 18 and Friday, October 19th to attend a high school reunion. It was dreadful ! The air filters were clogged with grime. It was enough to make me SICK! I took them out, went to the shower and ran water through them. Black "stuff" kept coming off and washing down the tub. On further inspection, I found that the black crud was still on the filters. I used soap and washcloth to get the filters clean but to no avail. The next morning I asked for new filters and some that were cleaner than mine but were still used and still had black junk on them - permanent stains. The sink drain stopper was out on the counter and not very clean. I found out fast that the drain did not drain the water well and came up into the sink. UGH ! The light over the sink was dangling down somewhat and would not turn on. Yes, I notified the front desk. Oh! I, also. notified a person who seemed to be in charge of the maids BUT, he spoke very little English and did not understand what I was saying. VERY frustrating and upsetting.
To make matters worse, the somewhat highly rated attached restaurant was closed. I don't know if a complimentary breakfast was part of the room rate but I obviously didn't get it.
Bottom line. This was a dreadful experience and I want my money back !

On Friday, October 19, 2018 we stayed overnight at the Days Inn on Schultz Road, Erie, PA. Our room was definitely not clean at all. There were cob webs in several different places. The bath mat when lifted up was moldy, we could not even shower because of this. When we looked behind the TV there was a couple pamphlets on the floor, not sure how long they had been there. So it is safe to assume they don't clean behind things or at all. The cord from the air conditioner was out where it could be tripped over easily, the box it was plugged into was not attached to anything, therefore making it a hazard. It's very obvious this place needs renovated badly and in need of employees that truly care. I did take some photos showing what I told you about. On another note, the front desk lady was nice and helpful. Photos attached. Not planning to stay here again until these issues are taken care of. Thank you for your time. Hello my name is Terrance Moore I booked a room at the days inn Lancaster Pennsylvania Lititz pike the person behind the desk told me they would grant me a late check out. This morning around 11am 10-21-2018 the general manager told me I can't have a late check out. If I would of known this I would of have went to another hotel. I definitely would like my money back I feel like the customer service is really bad and the general manager has no customer service experience at all.

I stayed at Days Inn Concordia, MO, on October 10, 2018. I was charged $84.77 + $10 for my dog. Confirmation #[protected].
The tub was chipped and the bathroom had a hole in the ceiling.
I was looking forward to breakfast the following, but found only bread and a few apples. I left with only coffee which was not hot.
I was truly disappointed in the room and breakfast. I will not recommend this Days Inn to anyone.
