On June 10, 2018, we checked into Days Inn SOUTH in Atlanta, GA AT 1540 Phoenix Blvd, College Park, because we needed Shuttle service to the airport and had enjoyed our stay at the Days Inn at Hilton Head. Mike (African American) did a fantastic job at the front desk, both in person and by phone. He personally came up and removed a huge roach on the wall and apologized for this unusual issue. When the toilet stopped up however, Housekeeping attempted to hand the plunger to ME, the customer - and I refused it, directing him to the bathroom and he reluctantly resolved the issue.
On June 25th, - thanks to Mikes good service, we decided to return to Days Inn SOUTH but a different room...but unfortunately Mike was not on duty. My daughter and I checked in around 3pm, awaiting my wife's 10pm flight. AGAIN the toilet stopped up (different family member) and I called the front desk...phone rang and rang but no answer. After several tries, I left the phone off the hook ringing and walked to the front desk. The same African American man who checked us in was sitting at the Desk (not Mike, did not get this one's name, but he was on duty at 7:30pm, 6/25/18), and I said "Don't you answer the phone?". He looked at the phone board, hit a button (silencer?) and THEN I heard "my" phone ringing! "Oh - is that you?" he said - with not the slightest care whatsoever.
I informed him about the toilet and he said no one was available. I told him Someone had to take care of it...he looked right at me and said "I don't plunge toilets." I responded: "Well I'm the CUSTOMER and I'm not doing it." He shrugged this off. I said "We need a toilet - give us a different room." He REFUSED - did not even bother to see which rooms were available and did NOT say the hotel was full - and obvious signs said it wasn't. He said he would get ME a plunger. I responded: "If I am the one to plunge the toilet, I'm filing a complaint". He shrugged this off and got me the plunger.
At about 12:15am, in disgust, we checked out driving 2 1/2 hours home and didn't even bother to stay and get our money's worth. Bottom line: Mike should be recognized for his excellent service; the second man should be fired immediately for his lazy, indifferent service.

Incident: Checked into the Robinson Days Inn Hotel in Waco, Texas on 21 June 2018 after our Department of Defense (military) agency had already booked our reservation at Hotel Days Inn Waco on 1504 I-35 North, Waco, Texas. However, we cancled our reservation at Hotel Days Inn Waco on 1504 I-35 North, Waco, Texas because the reception lady claimed all she had was smoking rooms. Which was sort of funny because Texas law states there is not smoking allowed in the rooms. Once getting to the Robinson Day Hotel the room that was issued to me also had a sign stating on smoking at the door by the room number. As soon as I walked in the room smelled like it had been smoked in. On top of that I noticed the toilet was dirty, the bathroom floor was dirty, the entrance room floor was dirty, and sofa in the room was all stained. The room was just plain dirty. I did not say anything as for this just seemed the norm for the Days Inn Hotels. Left to work on the 22 June came back only thing they did was take the trash out. On the 23rd before doing to work I wrote a letter left it where it could be seen and that afternoon I came back and nothing was done or corrected. I called the front desk and expressed my concerns and asked how often are the rooms cleaned she stated daily and mentioned that she would send someone up to address the situation. The individual that was sent up was someone that was sitting at the lobby when we had returned to the hotel watching tv. He came to the room with a toilet brush and cleaner. The individual used the toilet brush to brush the toilet which had ([censored]) splashed on it from before I had checked in which is how I knew it was dirty and also to brush the dirty nasty floor and wipped it with a towel he grabbed from the room. Not once did he sweep it or mop it nor did he do the entrance. The individuals that clean these rooms in reality are getting paid to do something that is really not happening or getting done. This hotel does not even get a (1) start from me. Not to mention I have been trying since last week to get them to email me a "zero balanced" receipt from my stay there since the one that was given had a balance due and in order to get refunded for my stay by my agency I have to provide a zero balanced receipt. The lady I spoke with last week twiced stated she would send the receipt via email (never done). Monday 2July2018 I called again the lady was apparently off and the gentlemen that answered basically stated that he did not know how to do it and that he was getting off a 12 hour shift and had other things to do and for me to call back tomorrow when the lady would be back. If I was not able to get anyone to help me to then request to speak to someone by the name of Ricky. Seems sort of weird that something as simple as a zeroed out receipt cannot be provided by the staff that are working the front desk. Then when I tried to call the Days Inn Headquaters I was directed to call the customer service number and the lady I spoke there stated that basically she could not help either and that this had to be done through the hotel.

My wife and I reserved a night stay at your motel off Interstate 65 Friday June 29th, when we arrived police and ambulances were everywhere around our room. The manager was trying to check people in with power outages. When we got our room, we found it to be the worst room we have ever been in. The smoke detector was wired to a ceiling light with wires outside the wall. The room had foul odor, the sheets had stains on them and the room just looked run down. If we were not there to meet family from up north to pick up our granddaughter we would have checked out. It was late so we slept in the awful beds with out clothes on. When we got up we did not shower and just left. Your company should be ashamed of this motel and how it is run. AND we paid over $ 70 for this crap. I doubt if you or Booking.com will do anything about my complaint and just continue ripping people off.

I have attached photos of the room that I stayed in on June 2, 2018. The rate for this room 82.95 + 17.45 tax. This was the worst hotel room that I have ever stayed in or seen. For what was provided as a room, this was way out of line for a price. This looked like something you would expect from flea bag type of hotel and not a National Chain. I was in town for the NCAA Baseball Regional, being held in Athens. There was a hole in the wall, bathroom door didn't shut, wallpaper coming off and what appeared to be a blunt on the back of the toilet.

on 6/17/18 i darrell gilbert was severely burned while attempting to refuel a pressure washing machine. while pouring gasoline in the tank the flex nozzle on the can broke off pouring gas on the machine an myself.the gas ignited an burned my upper left hand with 2nd degree burns.itried resolving this matter with owner operator deven jadav.unsuccessfully.im now more than 2200$ in debt with both st.chritus hospital located in port arthur texas and acadian general hospital in crowley la.both of which treated me for the burn injuries sustained on the said properties an im demanded to be compensated for both the hospital bill be paid aswell myself for the pains endured using a defected gas can given to myself by the said party.

We stayed at days inn Ormond Beach Fl. The first room the key didn't work after being given two different ones after the second key the third key worked. Once in the room there was hair all over the tub and mold on the curtains. We moved to another rom it had carpet and smelled horrible the carpet was filthy. We moved to another room and it was hair in that tub as well and it was dryed blood on the first bed so we slept in the other one. I went and purchased bleach, Lysol and glade air freshener. I was disgusting! The pictures online look nothing like the hotel in person.

After a quite unbelievably terrible experience at the beginning of our arrival it became worse. Even though the reservation was confirmed and checked by the manager on duty when we arrived it became evident that no one in the facility knew their role accept for a young man that helped get the t.V. Operational.
Let me star by saying we gave all the considerations in the world for problems, this was just lack of ability or absolutely no help what so ever of wyndam to help keep their properties in good order.
My wife and I were exposed to black mold in the second room provided which was what I had paid for. The first which was a king smoking room which was dirty beyond acceptable means. I found this to be very surprising based on how many house maids were present this morning after our supposed wake up call was never called in and the 7am call we were supposed to receive from your customer service department to try and remedy this vulgar and intentional lack of customer satisfaction. I am a certified o.S. H.A. Inspector, if I had been working at the time I would immediately called in a hazmat team and shut your facility down umtil further notice while that property was either cleared by environmental or torn down because of the overall condition and experience your facility provided.

All surfaces covered in either dirt dust or both not to mention the objects stuck to the surfaces and the human remains to hygiene that were everywhere, toenails, hair, etc. Then there was the fly and mosquito issue, when I located the source there was nothing to be done due to the fact of an open access from the outside next to the room a/c unit into the room. With respect to your supplied televisions, it took around an hour to first get it to work and then had to wait for a remote for that particular model. I called customer service after having no luck at the facility to remedy the problems that were becoming more and more prevalent. We decided to try to relax by the pool. No lights, dirty beyond belief not just the condition of the water itself but the overall area, dirty littered with trash, cigarettes and god knows what else. Children under the age of 7 in the hottub, no towels, the manager stated they didnt gave any and not to use the room towels because they would run out. The wifi internet would not function for whatever reason, the simplest being they don't have a big enough capacity to use it with that many people using it at the same time. When I finally did get in touch with your customer service person she made me feel as if this was an inconvenience to her as well as the company, listen to that recording if you dont understand the gravity of this complaint. Again, black mold hanging from the bathroom ceiling, used razors on top of light fixtures, used condoms under the bed edges. And I still cant figure out how it could be so filthy with that many maids. The morning manager was more involved in there morning hellos to the cleaning people than customers who paid $60 to sleep in a place that might as well be condemned. I have waited patiently to speak to someone. I have given my phone number [protected] to your representatives 3 seperate times and have yet to receive a single call. I will say without hesitation that unless the establishment either calls or texts me with some sort of resolution to fix this I will without any remorse whatsoever have a team sent there asap to document and fine wyndam and its associates for outright negligence regarding personal health and well being of its customers. The ability for an organization of your size to blatantly disregard the comfort and well being of its customers is beyond my comprehension. I travel 75% of the time and this facility is by far one of the worst kept hotels I have ever stayed at.
Again, if it is possible for you to listen to the call to your customer service rep and her inability to do anything let alone forward the message to the proper individuals to call me at 7am you should understand. If they did attempt to make the call, I did not revive one or a text or an email. I know you have all that information because before I could even reserve the room I was forced to listen to a deals pitch for your rewards program and some kind of easy check in system. Maybe you should concentrate on making your facilities inhabitable and has enough towels before you start taking there money based on lies and deception. I have a complete video of the evening including the front desk issue, the t.V. Remote problem, the phone with no buttons to use it problem, the refrigerator with standing water inside, the mushooms growing out of the ceiling in the shower where water from the above room is leaking through also on film into the shower I am in.
I will say without any remorse whatsoever that not even a 100% refund of my money wouldn't even begin to satisfy my level of dissatisfaction with wyndam right now. We were expecting what we normally receive from the same company that services our time shares to provide a similar experience. Maybe we should have stayed at a better wyndam facility but that was not offered after the initial screwup at the desk. Instead of changing rooms twice and people knocking on doors soliciting prostitution or buying of food, wyndam should have stepped up to to the plate and seperated themselves from such an embarrassment to you.
At this point my entire weekend is a bust because we couldnt even find an available room after that. So, $325 later (this is the amount spent in lieu of staying at your establishment) I am still wating for a rep to call. I have sent the facility a letter also to the corporate office. I won't hold my breath.

I went to walmart this evening and when i returned my card did not work for my door. I then proceeded to go to the front desk where i waited for 30 min knocking, ringing the pager, and hollaring "hello" and still there is no one that has came to the counter. I am in the business center watching the front counter and still no one has showed up. This is very frusturating. I now have been unable to access my room for 45 minutes. I think that i should get a free night or a refund. This is ridiculous

The room we booked was so disgusting - we couldn't enter the room it smelled so bad. The hotel manager would not give us another room or refund our money. When I went to the Corp office and complained they just circled me back to the Kelowna hotel manager. Really? Is this how you keep customers happy, get good reviews and increase revenues? I will post my negative rating on every hotel site I can.
And I see others are doing the same. Thank goodness for social media!

We stayed 2 nights 6/17/18 and 6/18/18 and I would not let my wife leave the room do to the 50 to 60 people that hung around and in the pool area, They were sitting around the pool drinking and smoking marijuana. They had there room doors open with loud speaker boxes blasting, I counted (8) 36 packs of beer boxes and a several bottles of hard liquor, they were beer cans and cigarette butts every were. (IT WAS NOTHING BUT A PARTY PLACE FOR OUR TWO DAY STAY) Sometime around 1:30 am someone threw a beer bottle at the door next to ours that shaddered everwhere. When we got up at 5:30 to head out for our fishing trip I had to move our car foward to load it because there was a pile of puke on the side walk. Needless to say with no sleep the Days Inn stay ruined our fishing trip. To be fair I stay in Days Inn on my hunting trips from Ca. to Wy. Co. and Mt. and back every year and my stays have always been good. P.S. they serve ONLY egg with cheese and call it a omelet, I think they were sausage but they were white in color, waffles, bruised apples, oatmeal, no bananas, cheerios, raisin bran cereal rolls and bread thats it for food.

My husband is staying at the Days Inn in Tapahannock Va. for three weeks as he is remodeling a wal-mart there. His toilet has been flooding since he has been there and he has notified the office every day, but no one has fixed it or even moved it to a different room. Today as he went into the office to complain about the toilet flooding, the manager began to yell at him and tell him that she did not know that he had a flooded toilet, when he shook his head she told him "Don't be shaking your head at me." I was on the phone with my husband the whole time this conversation was taking place and could not believe my ears as this was a manager speaking to him in this manner as he is a paying customer. she told him if he did not like her tone he could go to a different place to stay, mind you he just paid 450.00 to be there two days ago. The manager's name is Nancy, and her attitude and customer service is ridiculous.

My wife and I lived at days inn, in wildwood fl, off off 44 for about a year. I moved out roughly seven weeks ago around the end of april.
As far as I know, my bill was paid up.
But my debit card was charged $251.00 today. Seven weeks after i've moved out.

My wife Barbara and I had in January 2018 prebooked accomodation at the subject Hotel for the night of Friday the 24thof May 2018 and Saturday the 2nd of June 2018.The first booking was completed successfully, and we made our way to join relatives at the Pine Trees Haven resort in Perranporth in Cornwall.On arrival it was apparent we were booked in from the Monday the 28th to the following Monday the 4th of June.However other accomodation was found for us in another cabin to cover until the Monday.I decided that we would return home on Sunday June 3rd and contacted the agent company to book a room overnight to leave on the Monday morning.I was charged £52.20 for the room.On arrival at your Hotel I was offered various rooms but chose to stay in Room 10 the same as on my outward jorne y.Whilst I accept there are neccessary costs to effect the change of date on my part I feel the extra charge was somewhat excessive, bearing in mind I had previously paid in full for the original booking for Saturday .I therefore look to you to refund an acceptable amount to me in the region of the cost incurred.I await your consideration and reply.Thankyou.

On the 7th of May i booked into the Days Inn Lombard Street, San Francisco for two days. i got to the hotel and was told bluntly where my room is with no help offered to getting my luggage up stairs and no lifts, the hotel is very basic and in need for redecorating and updating. the receptionist was very unhelpful and too busy looking after his child to actually take any notice of what i was saying !
My main compliant however is that i asked whether on our last day we could leave our luggage while taking a boat tour and was told that wouldnt be a problem. when on the last day we came down to find noone in reception and had no choice but to take all my luggage with us and had to pay a left luggage charge at the tourist centre as well as having to get a cab to the pier due to the luggage ...extremely unhappy as you advertised a service that is not available ! also the charge state breakfast included and as i have stayed at the Washington DC days inn i assumed it would be breakfast and not just a choice of prepacked squashed pastries ...never been so rudely treated by reception staff and they had no interest in helping the guests ...i was not the only guest trying to locate the staff !

The hotel was not really wheelchair accessible you could not get between the bed and the dresser, and the shower was not a roll in shower it was a tub and shower head with bars Mount to the tub and no bench to sit on I had to go spend $60 to buy a bed side toilet so my disabled husband could go to the bathroom and then had to give him a bed bath so he was clean for our special event and the bed was a full not a Queen I feel like I should be compensated for some or all of my stay because the accommodations where not what I booked and was told that nothing could be done til manager was back on Monday .
The only reason we stayed is we spent all we had just to book that room.

We have booked the jacuzzi suite with the king bed at the Days Inn in Oromocto. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. You can feel the Springs through it. The room stinks of cigarette smoke. And it's very poorly appointed. We decided to ignore all that and went down to see what the pool is like for a little four year-old daughter. The entire reason we wanted to stay at the Days Inn was because it had a pool to keep our daughters busy while we were moving. The pool is green and hazy. The smell in the room is so strong of urine that it made me gag. The mildew is apparent all in the room leading into the pool. There is no way my child can swim in that pool I wouldn't let a dog swim in that pool. I'm not sure what I'm expecting for compensation on this. I would prefer to cancel and go to a different hotel as of today but as that isn't likely I want to be able to cancel and get a different hotel for tomorrow. But then I can't even guarantee I'm going to get a room somewhere else. I've had this book for 2 months.

Stayed at Days inn Southampton from 11-15 June. On my arrival the room as was given still dirty from previous guest. Went to reception did not believe me so went checked then gave me another room following day when I comeback room was not clean so back to reception get towels 2 day same thing was told they had problems with housekeeping had to empty my rubbish, 3 day same room not clean no apologies given asked for a bed sheet to make my bed and more towels. On check out on the Friday check out could not speak with anyone as a rang the bell and no one come. I was trying hotel in Southampton as I need to be there one week every month for next 6 Months but going to try same where as I try to contact the hotel with no luck. Looking forward to hear from you as I did not expect this type of standards even from budget hotel

Good Morning,
I recently spent 4 days in your Days Inn Coventry from the 11th - 14th June. Unfortunately I found the hotel room standard not up to standard.
In the room there were two windows one of which did not shut, luckily the weather was quite warm for the majority of the week, however on the last evening it was nippy and unable to shut the window I woke up very cold.
Also the shower head did not fit, and so had to be held during the course of showering. This was most disappointing as the last thing I wanted to do after spending an day in lectures was to have to hold a shower head whilst showing. This is a very basic item and I think needs to be dealt with by the hotel as a matter of urgency. I find it extraordinary that you would have a gym in a hotel where there are shower heads that cant even remain upright.
I have photographic evidence and video evidence of both of these items should you wish to see them.
I also found the cleanliness of the room to be somewhat desired, however that was not my main concern.
This was my first experience of a days inn hotel and I think possibly my last. Which is disappointing for a company of your size.

June 8th 2018, my husband and I and two children stayed 1 night @ the Pinehurst, North Carolina inn and conference center. We got two rooms #135 and #133. In the middle of the night about 2 am I awoke. The AC was very loud and there were people arguing outside. I saw a small brown bug about the size of a watermelon scurry on the night stand. I smooshed it thinking it was a cockroach but bright red blood gushed out. Then there was another smaller one and I squished it too and it also gushed and left a bright red stain. I thought that was weird I didn't know cockroaches had blood. i googled if cock . roaches have blood and it said no but sometime a pregnant roach has an orange sack so I thought maybe that's what it was. I mentioned it to the front desk lady checking us out that I thought room #135 had roaches, she said they had just had an exterminator there 2 days prior and that it shouldn't be a problem anymore. We were leaving so it didn't matter much I was doing them a favor by letting them know, I thought. Later that day my husband started developing welts on his arms and we thought maybe he was allergic to something. As the day progressed I started developing a couple of small red bumps and we started to wonder what was going on, the next day his were large itchy welts all over his arms, hands, wrists, legs, back. and mine were a cluster of red itchy welts all over my upper arms, later they spread to my chest, and wrists and a few on my face. Our son got them on his back and a few on his arm and some on his face, and out daughter who stayed most of the time in room #133 only got a couple small spots. We were traveling from Utah and still had two more days in NC. We spent the rest of the time during our travel suffering and buying ($$)anything we could find to alleviate the itching and ulcerating and cleaning out luggage and clothes afraid to spread the bugs. When we got home we continued to try to find relief and paranoid of still having them on us. We had to go to work with with itching and welts. I tried covering my arms with make-up as i am a dental hygienist and didn't want to look like a drug addict with all these sores. I called and complained and was told to call the manager back fro 10am-2pm, and then I called and was told she wasn't there, but the lady I . had told about the cock roaches was there and said she remembered out conversation. she said sorry but the place had been exterminated 2 prior days before our stay and it shouldn't be a problem. I told her yes but they weren't cockroaches they were BEDBUGS and she asked if I googled it. I told her not WE GOT BITES ALL OVER OUR BODIES! and they itch and they are horrible and I am not a suing person but I sure hope they don't let this happen to another family. She said it won't it will be taken care of and offered nothing else to even begin to make things right.
She seemed un-impressed by my complaints and didn't seem to care about anything my family was going through. Almost as if she thought we were making it up, but WE HAVE PICTURES and now i am angry at her lack of empathy and expressed very little concern for what my family had been put through. Today is June 14th 2018 and my welts are bigger and itchier and still a problem! I thought I was being nice to let her know what it was she had as it is bad for business to be infesting people with bed bugs but her attitude was really just upsetting.
I told her I wasn't going to sue but she (Kelly) I believe made absolutely no effort to try to make things right with us. It was like oh well... sorry have a good day, bye.
