We rented a room for 2 nights. First I was told that there were no handicap accessible rooms available at all. My husband is an amputee and is truly in need of such a room. However, we make do, as we are in town for Memorial Services for our Brother-in-law. So the really bad problem was Saturday September 23, 2017 when I didn't sleep well. I felt like I was being bitten by something all night. I just figured it was me. When my husband woke up he had a complaint of the same feeling! I checked and found ants on him! And pulled the covers back found a bed with ants inside checked me and ants also! Upon telling the desk clerks nothing but gee that's too bad and we'll see they spray the room today. Was all we got! What the heck!?

Flip lock on front door broken, back of recliner broken and had to prop it against a wall to be able to sit in it, no towels or working pop machine, and when I called the office to request towels, I was told to come down and get them myself and also to walk to a different hotel across the parking lot to use their pop machine, which only had one kind of pop in the whole machine. There are numerous burn holes in the bedspread and the air conditioner will only work on low.

Management acted as if I was a bother to him. I asked for toilet paper because none was provided by maids.
I was an evacuee from hurricane Irma. This was a very stressful situation. My room was not cleaned on a regular basis. I had to ask for service.
I was traveling with my service dog and asked to have a late check out on my last day. My friend was arriving at the Airport to accompany me home. I was told no. I only needed 2 hours. I had to hang out in parking lot.
During my stay 2 cars had been broken in to. I did not feel safe at this location. Garbage was on the grounds of the hotel. Attached are pictures of my room.

First and foremost, I have stayed at the Days Inn on numerous occasions over the course of my thirty-two-year-old life. And each time I've always had a wonderful experience, great customer service, a clean room, and hospitable staff. However, on August 24th that unfortunately was not the case. After driving 23 hours, I stopped at a Days Inn in Cameron, as I was extremely tired, as I have been driving from California for the past two days (23 hours) with Illinois as the destination to start my new job. The hotel staff were nice and accommodating as my mother was able to book the room over the phone for me to get some rest after a long two-day drive. The staff were nice, however, the first room I was assigned was not cleaned by housekeeping. The staff were able to give me another room quickly. I ate some food, took a shower, put on my bedclothes, and snuggled in for the night, as I was exhausted. However, I awoke in the middle of the night to find a cockroach crawling in the bed with me. Upon further inspection of the room, I began to see two more cockroaches crawling about the room. Then I began to move dressers and nightstands to find more cockroaches that happen to be dead. I dashed down to the front desk and explain the situation and the night manager look quite embarrassed and he apologized. He stated that he would go and "get some spray" and we walked down to my room. He then began to spray and clean up the dead cockroaches. He then asked would I like another room. Giving it was the middle of the night and I was still very tired I took the room. I was extremely uncomfortable, as it was hard for me to sleep due to me finding cockroaches in the last room. Therefore, I slept with all the lights on, as I know cockroaches normally come out when all the lights are off. First thing in the morning I left, however, I had to shake all my clothes and bags just in case. I am asking that a site visit be done to investigate this problem, as I would not want another person to go through what I went through. In addition, some form of compensation would be appreciated, as I had no other choice but to stay there and was extremely uncomfortable.
I would appreciate a response within a timely manner. If not I will be reporting this hotel facility to the Better Business Bureau to investigate what maybe a cockroach infestation. If you have any questions, I can be reached via phone at [removed] or email [removed]

rude/unhelpful manager - pam patel
9.18.17 Days Inn Missoula Downtown - Pam Patel is unprofessional and rude. We walked rooms to her hotel and she submitted folios for payment. I contacted her and left a message that I would have to have an invoice as required by our company. When no invoices showed up my assistant called and Pam was rude to her as well. She stated that she would not send us an invoice to submit payment. She then called me today and demanded to know why we haven't paid them. I told her that I have to have invoices. She said that they don't have them. I suggested that she get a template through Microsoft Word and make a simple invoice that she could send over. She then demanded angrily that I should have called and told her that. I let her know that we did call (my assistant and I). She called me a liar and then talked over me the rest of the call. She ended by telling me that I should have called her again.

Stayed only one night as I could not see keeping my family at this place longer than we had to. There was mold on the bathroom walls and behind to entrance door, walks were cracked, the room above us had a leak which dripped into our room near the bed, the ceiling was even bubbled. The bed sheets looked used, the carpet was sticky on my shoes. When my husband went and complained all that was provided to us was a bucket got the dripping ceiling. This was the only hotel in 4 towns that I called looking for a room. So we were stuck staying at this place in Odessa Texas. I will never stay at a days in again. We were not even offered a refund by the desk person, who needs to learn customer service.

I evacuated from Florida with my 86 year old Dad and my cat. We drove 16 hours to get out of the State of Florida and arrived in Kingsland, Georgia on Thursday, September 7th, 2017. I took a room at the Days Inn in Kingsland, Georgia. [protected]. 1353 GA-40, Kingsland, GA.
I was told the rooms were $89.00. I asked for a Handicap room for my Dad. I had inspected several rooms as they had Queen Beds and finally I was given a room with a King Bed. I told the Desk clerk that I had a Cat. He did not advise me that evening that the room would be $120.00.
The room was totally filthy. There was dust and filth at the edge of the garbage mattresses. The refrigerator has filth and black mold marks at the top of the Fridge. The room was the most disgusting room that I ever been in and I was just praying that we would not get bed bugs nor my cat get any filth from the carpet. Go and inspect that crappy, filthy Motel.
When I checked out in the morning, I gave the keys to the lady. She gave me a bill for $120.00. I did not have time to argue over it as I was in a rush to leave and get back on the road. So, I thought that I got screwed due to the Hurricane Evacuation.
Now, a few days later, I took a look at my Bank Statement and saw that I was not only charged $120.00 but an additional $15.00 charge was added to my Credit Card after I left.
First of all, this is ugly to not advise the customer what the charge would be, then gouge the customer another fee after they leave? I had a reservation across the street at the Comfort Inn for $105.00 which I did not take as I was tired after a 16 hour drive and did not feel like lugging our things up and down an elevator to the 5th floor. But, very sorry that I did not do this as the room would have been much more cleaner.
Secondly, there is The Pets Evacuation and Transportation Standards Act (PETS) which is a FEMA assistance to accommodate pets and service animals. He had no right under the FEMA Act and also not to tell me that he was going to use my Credit Card after I left.
He is a filthy human being and I want my $15.00 back. He can keep the stinking $120.00 and hope it helps for the [censored] that are staying at his hotel because I will never go there or recommend anyone to go over there. I have friends that live in Kingsland and St. Marys, Georgia and I will be sure to tell them about this event as well as putting this up on the Internet.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK IMMEDIATELY.

Been staying at Days Inn at Goose Creek, South Carolina for work. Been staying about a month. Swipe my card to pay for 2 nights. It charges me a 2 night fee of 165.95 but also charges me an extra 414.86. I just got paid a couple hours earlier and now most of my paycheck in gone for the week. I have numerous bills due this week. Days Inn says it isn't showing up on their end but it is showing up on my account transactions.
the condition of my room and the hotel in general.
I had reservations at the Days Inn Topeka, at 1510 Southwest Wanamaker Rd, on the evening of September 9, 2017. When I first arrived, I was given room 226. My family and I went up to the room, and immediately found problems with it. The chairs were disgustingly stained, looking like multiple people has "accidents" in them. The issue that prompted us to change rooms was the ice bucket had mold in it. I went down to the desk, and the woman there promptly gave us another room, 204.
We went up and moved all of our luggage from one room to the other, and prepared to settle in. I opened the ice bucket, and lo and behold, there was mold in this one too! I took it down to the person at the front desk, and she said "another one?" To which I responded yes. She took that one into the back room, cleaned it and gave it back to me. She also reduced the price of the room $20 for the problems.
We were only in town for a festival, so I didn't get to look around the room much after that until we returned.
That is when I found out that:
1) The television channel changer would not work, and the "new" girl at the desk could not help me. She said to try changing the channel on the cable box, located behind the dresser, and to call if I had any problems. The cable box has no means of changing any channels, and so when I tried to call her...
2) There is no phone in the room... The jack was empty.
3) Large rip / cut in the bed spread.
4) Hole in the bathroom door.
5) Smoke detector was hanging by wires from the ceiling.
In the general hotel areas:
1) The card access locks were all non-functioning. No card was required to get into the hotel corridors.
2) Screens dangling from windows in the hallway.
3) Wallpaper falling off of the walls, with EXCESSIVE mold growing on it.

The room was a disaster and so many things were broken and the pool was cloudy and dirty and there was Brown stuff floating in the hot tub and we took pictures. Bathroom door didn't close completely, heater/a/c broken, you tv didn't work and the cord was taped, there was a rip in curtain, ceiling fan vent hanging in bathroom, no working smoke alarm etc..We resreved the room through Priceline and days inn refused to give me a refund and we only rented the room for the pool and Jacuzzi for the kids last weekend before school started. We're very displeased and pissed off and want a refund. The hotel don't have ready an emergence plant to provides to the customer some small portion of breakfasts as cake, fruit or juices. In five day before and after of the hiurracane emergence the manager of hotel and the front desk people asking me if I need something. But another way, they was very quickly in make to me signed a document were the hotel don't make responsible for nothing during emergence situations.
I understand that was a emergence situations, but if the hotel know they can not able to provide the more basi service, why they don't send a message to costomer before to give time to take a decision to change or cancer the reservations.
There's only one thing that not change with the emergence and that was the prices and chargers.

My Mother has traveled to Days Inn in Montgomery Alabama, She lives in Port Richey Florida, She had to leave because of Hurricane Irma, She probably lose everything she owns and has only her small social Security check to live on, When she actually found a hotel with a vacancy and checked into the hotel they would not honor her Coupon for forty some dollars a night even though it is not a black out date and does not say that it would not be honored for unforeseen Catostrophic Weather Conditions" instead they will not honor the coupon and are charging her almost ninety dollars a night, "
This is the way Days Inn operates? Making Money and praying off of the people that already have so little and are going thru so much and will lose so much from this horrible occurrence" You should be ashamed

Hello, because of hurricane season, I have to cancel reservation, I called days inn on 5858 international drive, at 1400, 9 September, the lady called "Jassica" picked up phone. But her attitude was EXTREMELY bad. Hung up my phone several times, interrupted me several times without any patient. She pushed my issue to the other days inn on same road, asked me called around. Made me feel SO BAD. I think your company have to take care of this issue by letting your employees know how to service, or you will loose lots of customers.

My mother-in-law reserved us a rooms the Days Inn in Onley Va for Sept 1st- 4th. We checked in Friday evening I called the front desk late that evening to complain about dirty sheets and sand in the sheets between the fitted sheet and the flat sheet.I was told that the sheets would be changed in the morning. They were not. Tuesday I had the exact same sheets with the same exact blood spots on them. I was forced to bring my own blanket to sleep on the bed. Our Sheets were never changed during our stay! We were literally sleeping on sheets that other people had slept on with sand on their feet! As we checked out I attempted to file a complaint at the front desk. I was informed that I needed to call corporate office to complain because over the weekend there had been 56 complaints ranging from bed bugs to dirty sheets dirty rooms Etc. My question is why is it this place has not been inspected? There needs to be an unannounced inspection done with every room in Onley Virginia! This place is disgusting the staff was hired in from the manager's family. They live there in exchange they work for him for free. If you call what they are doing work. I want a full refund given to my mother-in-law Annabelle Spence.

When I checked into the site on 8-31 I was given an old smelly room I had to call to the front desk and ask for another room. On the 2nd day of my stay 9-1 the house keeper knocked on my door and asked if I wanted service I told her no that I only needed towels. She gave me new towels and asked for my old ones which I gave her. She then begin to ask if I was staying another night I told her I was. She then asked if I paid to stay another night I then advised her that she had gone to far with the questioning and that she should take that up with the office. I was very upset about this situation never in all the years of my traveling had I been questioned by a house keeper about paying for another night. I then called from my room down to the front desk about what had just happend and I asked to speak with a manager. The person on the other end of the phone said she was the manager I told her what happened and she said to give the house keeper a break that they make mistakes and she hung up in my face. I then went down to the office to discuss the rude and disrespectful things I was encountering the manager was yelling at me and threatening to call security on me as if I had done something wrong. She offered to give me back my money for the days I had credit for but that would not have worked out being I was on vacation and it would have taken at least a week to hav the funds credited back to my account. I never had an experience like this in my life and I never plan on staying at a days inn again if this is how I'm going to be treated. I would like to discuss this more with someone higher up. During the rest of my stay I called the from desk 3 times and no-one answered the phone. I called once and requested clean towels and they never brought any. On the final day I requested a late check out which they said was at noon the housekeeper came and stood at my room door until I left

I stayed 08/22/2017 for 8 days, I was put in a dingy room with holes in the ceiling Room 118, the bath room taps would run by them selves. I notified reception, then one night it was raining & the rain was coming into my room almost as if I wa outside, wetting me & my belongings up, I notified reception again this time they moved me to another Room 401.

We booked a room at Days Inn at 2821 Niagara Falls Blvd. NIAGARA Falls, NY. 14304. We walked into the lobby to check in and it seemed dirty. We went to our room 202 and when we walked in to turn on the light a big bug ran across the floor. We noticed the room stunk, was dirty and just seemed gross. My husband always checks the rooms 1st so he flipped the mattress to see about bed bugs and sure enough you could tell they have bed bugs. We immediately left and turned our keys in. No way are we staying in that hotel. We had more family staying there as well and we called to tell them what we found and they said they seen a bug and when they looked where it ran to there were tons of these bugs in their room. They immediately left the hotel as well. I want refunded for this horrible experience and I will never visit a Days Inn again. You can tell these people do not care about their hotel. We were so disgusted that we had to end our vacation early and head home. I will make sure to write a review on their review pages as I do not want this happening to someone else. Plus they were letting people hang outside getting drunk at 11:30 pm. That when we checked in and checked right back out.
manager refused to let two friends meeting in my room into the hotel!
I checked into the Days Inn Utica, NY where I have been a guest many times in the past. Two of my friends from out of the area were going to meet me at the hotel after their trip. I was going to let them use the shower and then the three of us were going out to dinner. I was then going let these men sleep in that room (I had a King Suite with a sofa bed) and leave in the morning to complete their trip up to Canada. One of my friends arrived and I had texted him my room number, so he cam to my door. About 15 minutes the second friend arrived and was told by the manager he could not go to the room. The manager phoned my room and told me I had "too many people" visiting me! I said that I had never heard of anything like that. I paid for a room that has ample space, and a sofa bed which provides a setting for conversation between people, so what right did he have to stop my friends from coming to my paid-for room! I'm am very annoyed and I left the hotel and went to another hotel which had a normal human behind the desk!I am very annoyed and I hope you will refund my money!
