Where is my faucet??? I want a refund!!!
Called on January 19, 2022 and ordered an expensive Brizo faucet. The rep said it would be at my home in a week's time. After a week, nothing came and no email. I called again on Jan 27, 2022 and they told me that it is not shipping to them until Feb 15th. Called again on February 15, 2022, and they told me they would be receiving it from Brizo on February 28th and would ship it to me.
I called again on February 28, and they said it is delayed until Mid March. At this point, I asked for a refund and they told me a cancellation would take 5-7 days and then it would take another 7-10 business days to get my money back.
I asked to speak with a Manager because, after all, they charged me immediately when I checked out of my cart. No manager on duty. Jacoby said a manager would call me back in 24 hours. They are trying to scam me and not give me my product or my money back.
Desired outcome: I want a full refund of what I paid NOW and I want to speak to a manager. I refuse to wait any longer or I'm going to blast decorplanet on Social Media they likes of which they have never seen.
Duplicate Order placed, no confirmation, charged me $750 shipping fee for the item I never ordered or received
I purchased a vanity using amazon payment. They placed a duplicate order using my amazon email for which I never received a confirmation. They also don't charge until they ship the product. When I called and reported that I didn't want the second order and never placed it, they charged me $750 for the vanity that was supposedly shipped back to them, that's almost 1/3 of what I paid for the vanity and shipping. Customer Service is beyond rude, they are arrogant and are yelling at customers. It's not uncommon for this company to mess up orders and blame the customer for it, it's their regular practice, I learned that much from the reviews.

First cabinet was delivered damaged. I left it in the box over the weekend so that my contractor could install. When opened it was damaged and the company charged be another 539.50 to replace the cabinet. The second cabinet came, and I inspected a looked fine. Once up and cleaning there is some type of scratch on the wood that you can only see if the light hits it right. Bottom drawer does not line up and sticks out and the "self-closing soft touch" only works if you slam the door. I would have found MUCH better quality at Lowes or Home Depot.

Lack of follow through
Upon ordering the vanity, I informed them that the contractor will be completing the bathroom by March 6th. I had ordered the vanity on (February 27th) She assured me that it will definitely be in on or before March 6th. Called on March 5th to confirm their assurance of arrival date. She indicated that it should arrive. I asked to speak to the supervisor . I spoke with Peter and he said that we can't assure anything because the truck could break down...
I stated that the representative should not have assured me that considering the time constraint that I am in. He said that I should be getting it by the end of tomorrow. It is now, March 9th and no vanity. I am in a quandry because it is too late to order another vanity elsewhere. If I cancel this order, I will be charged a restocking fee as well as the return shipping.

I ordered a rather expensive double wide illuminated medicine cabinet. When I opened the box to install the product I found that 2 parts were missing or broken (a rubber door bumper and a plastic cabinet corner). I've had to request replacements now for several months. On 3 occasions the incorrect parts were sent.in the past month Decor Planet has become non-responsive. When I asked to chat with a supervisor of the Customer Support team was placed on hold for 8 minutes with the rep coming back saying she would have her supervisor call me back as soon as she wrapped up with another customer... that was 4 days ago.
Decor Planet seems to carry a quality product selection at competitive prices but if you have a problem it seems their prices are not worth the hassle of getting the appropriate support. When you purchase a $1, 000 cabinet... one expects a quality product with all the parts. Now... having a cabinet that is missing parts seems to have turned into a unwarranted nuance. Be aware... things may not be as hoped for.
bathroom vanity
I had ordered a bathroom vanity from decorplant (farmhouse styled base, stone sink). It was delivered, and due to being in the middle of the move into a new house, and renovating the bathroom, I did not open the box the day it got there, but a little after. Only to find the sink cracked in half. The only part of the box opened was the top where I had found the broken countertop. I reached out in attempt to work with them for a replacement for the damaged item that had arrived, and they told me that because it was more than 48 hours after delivery they would only give me 20% off a new vanity. Mind you it is a $500 bathroom vanity, and I will not be PURCHASING an entirely new one on top of what I had spent on a damaged product. A refund was not available, and no efforts were made to try to fix this problem other than getting me to spend MORE money by offering me 20% off... for what a product which would arrive damaged as well? Too bad their customer service is so terrible as just purchasing a home i had found multiple products from decorplant that I was interested in, which i WILL NOT be purchasing now. Terrible customer service, which unfortunately for them seems to be a common occurrence among people.

Sir/madam,
I ordered 2 items (shower bases). Items cost me $580.98; I waited 30 days and my products had not been delivered. I tracked the items and was told that they where returned due by the carrier because they were unable to contact me. Come to fine out, the carrier didn't have my contact info to call me or to deliver the product (seller error). Then I was told I would have to reorder the product because it had been returned to the seller and that my account would be credited. Later my account was credited $378.75. That's $202.223 less what I paid for the product... So I never received the product and then I was charge @202.23 just for hell of it. Wtf! That's known as theft by deception. I have attempted to contact this seller several times, but no answer. I left several messages, but no return call. No attempted at all by the seller to resolve my issue. Send me my product or return my money...

Terrible place to do business with. I ordered two items from them. Only one item arrived. I called their customer service and couldn't get a straight answer as to when I would receive the other item. I got the feeling from the rep that I was interrupting his day. He couldn't provide an intelligible answer as to what the next steps are to get the second item. The worst customer service ever. Pay more somewhere else. Their cheap prices aren't worth the extremely poor customer service. Unprofessional. Stay away.

Beware of Decor Planet! I purchased a Toto toilet on Aug 12. Initially I was called and told it was out of stock and wouldn't be shipped until the end of Aug. I was told they will only authorize the charge but it won't be processed until the product ships. I called at the end of Aug and was told it would be mid Sept. They took the funds from my account on Sept 9th and I thought it had been shipped. I called Decor Planet. It had not been shipped. They don't know why my account was debited the amount. The item is now back ordered until the beginning of Oct. I asked for Decor Planet to reverse the charges until they have the product in stock and ready to ship. They said they would. I called back on Sept 13 because they had not reversed the charges to my account. They told me the toilet would not be available until the end of Oct. I told them to cancel the order. That was 9/13/18 and they sent a cancellation email saying I my credit would be in my bank and funds available within 2-5 days. It has been 7 days- no credit and no credit pending. Every time I called this company I was lied to. I consider them to be very unethical and such a waste of a lot of my time. Not worth the 12% savings they constantly say will end tonight at midnight which is also a lie; it says that every day.
I have a similar complaint to above regarding the purchase of a Toto toilet with washlet. I purchased mine on August 12, and later after calling to receive an update on shipping, was rold that it was on backorder until October by most associates, but my salesperson maintained that the toilet was coming. I did receive a toilet tank (without a bowl or washlet/seat) a few weeks ago. DecorPlanet.com then updated my order status as “complete” and charged my card the entire amount for the toilet. I have spoken to several people since then, including my salesperson and everyone says that the toilet is now in stock and will be shipped immediately. That was over a week ago. There is no evidence of an updated shipping status to the “new order.” DecorPlanet now says they can’t refund my money because the toilet has already shipped. This company is a SCAM. Run, don’t walk, from DecorPlanet.com.
product was not as described on website
This issue occurred in 2015 and I placed a review on this site as well as on other business ratings and review website. The reason I am updating this now is because their customer service rep contacted me on 8/1/2017 through the other business rating website and asked if I would consider changing my negative feedback and they would compensate me for my time. Further communication with the DecorPlanet Rep on the other business rating website was annoying because the Rep lied and stated that they communicated with the manufacturer who confirmed the finish on the items I received from DecorPlanet was correct. What they failed to mention was that on the DecorPlanet website they described the finish as Brushed Nickel but on the manufacturers website they described the finish as Satinized Chrome. So it was correct for the manufacturer but was misrepresented on DécorPlanets website. Then the Rep proceeded to say I had received a refund. This was also a lie as my credit card company determined that DecorPlanet never provided me with a refund so the credit card company refunded me the purchase price because of product misrepresentation. It appears that now in 2017 they are still using deceptive practices and are contacting customers requesting they change their reviews.
The following is my review from December 2015 placed on this site and the other business rating & review website:
I placed an order for Nameeks Gedy Soap Dispenser/Product # NA80-380 and a Nameeks Gedy Toothbrush Holder/ Product # NA98-38 with DecorPlanet.com. I wanted to match my brushed nickel faucets and DecorPlanet described the items on their website as being brushed nickel. When received they did not match the brushed nickel facets at all and the soap dispenser had a very slight damage.
I contacted DecorPlanet's customer service and they advised that they were brushed nickel. I explained to customer service rep that they match my stainless steel kitchen pots and they are not the color of brushed nickel.
The items are Gedy products and with further research I found the Gedy website. The items had the same product numbers on the Gedy website and were described as SATINIZED CHROME. Nickel finishes are slightly darker in color giving them a warmer appearance. Satinize chrome is too white.
They provided a FedEx prepaid shipping label and upon receipt of the return they would deduct a restocking fee and the fee for the return shipping label and I would receive a portion of my $52.00 credited back within five business days. I explained the information I found on the Gedy website and should receive all of my money back but they refused to refund the full amount.
I contacted my credit card company and after I told them what had happened they explained that I could enter a dispute, as the items that DecorPlanet provides were not received as they described. They explained that I first had to return the merchandise before I could enter the dispute for a full refund of my $52.00.
Well it is now nine business days since they received my return confirmed by FedEx Tracking and I haven't received any portion of my money credited back to my credit card. I contacted my credit card company again and they credited the full amount back to my account.

6/17 - Rep. Menny responds with "it will ship out to you in 2 weeks." - thanks for the abundance of info (sarcasm)
6/19 - I email Menny asking again for clarification on the shipping timelines. He responds "you should receive it about 5 days after it ships". That's definitely not what he said before...
6/27 - I email Menny "I ordered it 13 days ago, so it should be shipping out tomorrow, correct?"
6/27 - Menny responds "Expected to ship on MON 7/3"
6/27 - Here is where the fun begins. I ask why the delay and now Menny explains that since I didn't respond to his email until Saturday after I placed my order on Wed, the manufacturer didnt receive the order until the following Monday. Perhaps he should have mentioned that in the original email. Something as simple as "Although you placed your order and it is confirmed, your order will not be placed until you respond to my email asking if the backordered status is okay with you." No such email was received. As an avid online shopper, when I place an order, I assume the order has been placed...not "your order is contingent upon you responding to this email". I told Menny that...no response from a person who was so responsive...
Because of this delay, we ran into the holiday. So 4th of July falls on week 3 of my order. The order doesn't arrive at their office until Friday. Then they inform me there is a 3 day processing delay. Never mentioned this before. So I ask for them to attempt to resolve this and expedite their portion of the shipping. Here they had a chance to redeem themselves but after waiting for a response from a manager, I hear nothing, and then an email on Tuesday saying the item has shipped and it will be arriving to me by the end of day Saturday, 7/15. That would be a 4.5 week turnaround when I was originally told 2 weeks, then I was told 2 weeks, plus 3 days for processing, then 5 days to ship out to me.
Horrible company to deal with!
I've purchased a tub from these guys and it was quite an expensive one. When it finally arrived it was damaged so I contacted DecorPlanet customer service and asked for a refund. They refused to refund me and offered a replacement. Well, that was better than nothing so I agreed. I received a replacement quite fats and it was the same tub! There were the same damages! I called them again and they said that it was no longer their problem. In the end I've even wasted more money to fix the tub! Stay away from these cheaters!

The vanity would be delivered only within 4 weeks
We have ordered shower door and vanity with mirror from the company www.decorplanet.com. We received the email that the vanity would be delivered within 4 days. But we didn’t get it as the seller promised me. We emailed the seller, but he kept silence within 10 days, but he replied after all. He told us that the vanity would be provided within 4 weeks. Seriously, it wasn’t ok at all. We were disappointed in such services.

Scam. We have bought vanity, shower and some other items from www.decorplanet.com. The total price was $5, 000. The seller processed and provided details of the purchase. We weren’t happy that we got the first item 10 days after agreed day. And it was only one item. The next item was delivered after 15 days. They sent all items separately and it was very inconvenient. Beware and stay away from this company.
Now I'm stuck with a useless expensive shower door
Bought a Dreamline shower door and the salesrep conveniently did not tell me that this unit was not adjustable (No tolerance). When it did not fit, they would not exchange the unit. Although it's a beautiful shower door, now I'm stuck with a useless expensive shower door. I'll sell it at 1/2 price if anyone interested... Originally $800. Please make sure you have at least 46 1/2 inches wide.
The customer walked in to our Staten Island store with a specific shower door size ready, then selected a specific DreamLine model. Its dimensions are displayed in our listing at the top of the page. Delivery was made on August 31st and he wanted to return it on October 23rd, which is 22 days after our maximum 30-day return period. In addition, the customer discarded all packaging which means our supplier cannot take it back for resale. A courtesy return would have been allowed if the packaging was available.

I also agree with bad reviews about this company. The Level of rudeness that we have experienced is just unbelievable ( their Brooklyn store location). We had an encounter with one of their staff members there, the older guy with a beard, didn't ask him his name unfortunately. Rude, rude, rude. SHOCKINGLY RUDE.
Also the mirrored medicine cabinet was chipped on each side. It could be that we were just unlucky but according to other reviews it's probably more of a norm.

I purchased an Ariel Platinum Steam Shower from Decor in April 2012. It arrived on April 30th packed in crates with no apparent damage. When my plumber arrived to install it a few days later as he unpacked the crates he noticed the tray was damaged.
I called back and was instantly put on notice that I did not unpack all the crates and notice the damage upon delivery as they require. I purposely did not unpack the wooden crates because I wanted the glass panels to be secure until my plumber arrived for the install. Finally they supposedly ordered the replacement part on May 14th but I keep on getting the run around why I have not received it... problems with the distributor, shipper, etc. Each person has a different excuse and I don't think anyone has a clue. I asked to speak to a manager this morning but apparently none are around until sometime in the afternoon.
To say the least the customer service at this company is terrible. If I had not discarded all the packing crates I would be shipping it all back for a refund. Looks like I will most likely be heading to small claims court to get this rectified. I would not recommend buying this product or anything else from this company.

Spent $2, 000 on nice vanity and mirror. The vanity arrived and was nice for the money, mirror was backordered "2-3 weeks". After 7 weeks I called and they told me it would be another 6 weeks! We'll see. Very fragmented remote customer service and sales model. The customer service rep just sent me back to the sales rep in some other remote location. This outfit is a joke.
