Ford f 150 truck and dodge
I am a customer of discount tires since approximately 10 years ago. Few weeks ago, my sister went to:

We had a flat on Dodge Caravan, she returned home she told me she was told by the people at Discount, that they could not install 2 bolts, and if she needed the bolts installed, she had to see a mechanic and they gave her a mechanic number they know to contact him. I told my sister go and ask for the two bolts I am a mechanic and there is nothing wrong with the rotor, or screws everything is good. Talked to a supervisor and gave her the two screws. I installed them and were good. Are they stealing from Customers? they get a percentage when they send a customer to this mechanic? Then I went to another store:

This time it was a Ford F 150- and when after I purchase tires, which are not cheap I get my 2 wheel hub cap broken and bolts missing, they did not say I am sorry, they did not apologize and handed it all broken to me. What is their big idea? Those are 20 new each, and the bolts 10 dollars they think they can steal and rip off people? Do you want me to go to the news and bring this to their attention? Do you want me to add reviews on the internet and see how many people have been treated the same way? Is that how you train your workers? Do something immediately, or I will find legal matters, two times happening to me, there is something creepy going on.
Desired outcome: No [censored] Sherlock Holmes company can't read my mind? but I am sure you can do something hiring honest people and not thieves, that is why I am writing to you.
Tire mounting and lifetime balancing
I set up my appointment to have 4 new tires mounted and balanced with the lifetime. I was given an out the door price. See below. Well Friday as I was explaining this to the employee a guy in a red shirt said that's too low and that he would charge me more since they were my tires not from discount. Which that was very rude. Well, another red shirt think Conner was name helped him and got within 20 cents, but this was not the lifetime which is what I thought to be getting. Needless to say, I have bought plenty of tires at Discount I have 3 vehicles I now am wondering do I need to go to a much better customer service place.

Tire mounting and balancing pricing
i have been a loyal customer of Discount Tire for a long time...i have purchased 100's of new tires...i buy & sell cars as a hobby plus maintain tire care for 9 personal vehicles...I call the Yukon tire store to price what it would cost me to have 4 new tires mounted to 4 new mag wheels...i may or may not have purchased the new tires from you, i don't remember as i have had them awhile..i am well aware of your tire mounting policy...however..these are loose tires and wheels not being taken on or off a vehicle...simply brought in for mounting and balancing..walkin/take out..charging $30 per tire is ridicuous and hiway robbery & a poor company policy
Desired outcome: $22 a tire/wheel is plenty
Wrong Tire Size Installation
I went to the Discount Tire located at 2717 Spring Rd SE Atlanta, GA. I 1st ordered over the phone 2 tires 285 75R 16. I got a call back from someone telling me this was the wrong tire for my vehicle. I told them that was what was on the vehicle, they told me to bring it in so they can look at it! When I arrived, the manager told me their system is showing a smaller tire should be on my van. He came outside and looked at the vehicle and told me someone put the wrong tires on. He said to trust him he had been in the business for many years, and I said OK you are the expert. So, I proceed and purchased the 2 tires the manager recommended. I took the vehicle back to Mercedes for some additional repairs (Brake pads) and they told me that the wrong tires had been placed on the vehicle. I told your manager this was not an ordinary Mercedes Sprinter van, it had been a conversion and he told me it didn't matter. Midwest Customs handles all of the conversions for Mercedes Benz. The vehicle was equipped with a dual axle which allows for 2 tires on each side in the rear or it has an adapter for a Super Single tire. These tire sizes are prominently displayed on the inside of the driver's door. Had the manager from Discount Tire simply checked the manufacture marking on the door well this could have been avoided. This is common practice that a tire installer refers to the manufacturer for the size of the tire put on the vehicle. This is done so that there is no question about what size tires go on the vehicle! Instead, Discount Tire chose to forgo this warning and did what they wanted to do.
When I tried to call and let them know that they had installed the wrong tires on my vehicles. It became a shouting match! Eventually they scheduled an appointment for me to come. Upon coming in this morning, I was greeted rudely by the Assistant Manager Quentin Hardman! I was told there is nothing they can do. He did not try to resolve the situation he continued to be rude and instructed me to take the vehicle back to Mercedes & let them put on the tires! He told me I don't know who you have been listening to & we don't have to go by the manufacture recommendation on the door. After requesting two purchase the correct size tires and asking that the money paid for the smaller tires be credited towards my new purchase. He told me he doesn't have to do anything because I already agreed to them putting on wrong size tires. I asked to speak to the manager at this point and I was told he was busy and that there was no need for him to get the manager. I trusted the people who were supposed to be experts and who do this for a living! I told them what size tire I was looking for and the manager of Discount Tire told me to trust him! After the rudeness and unprofessional I was still willing to just purchase my tires and go on about my business. However Now I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS with Discount Tire!
Desired outcome: I would like a full refund for the wrong size tires that were installed on my vehicle.
Michelin truck tires
I have a set of Michelin truck tires on a 2004 F-350 SRWD.
I bought tires from Discount Tire and have had trouble getting these tires to balance.
I have been back to Discount Tire for a swap out but they will not do a swap out. Discount Tire says Michelin tires are perfect.
Discount Tire flat out refuses to prorate or swap out even with extended warranty.
Many return trips to Discount Tire and they say there is not any such thing as problems with Michelin tires. Discount Tire has told me that I need to look further into the suspension of the front end of the truck. Just took the truck into Discount Tire for a rotate and balance on 10/6/2022. Before 10/6/2022 the string wheel shimmed at 70 to 75 mph. after I got the truck back from Discount Tire the same day it shimmed at 45 to 50 mph.
The morning of 10/7/2022 took the truck to Goodyear they checked the suspension and told me there is no problem with the suspension, including the ball joints, they removed all 4 tires and wheels located the two worst balanced those tires for the back of the truck. Then they located the two best for the front of the truck rebalanced and mounted, road tested and then called for me to come and pick the truck up. Drove back to the house and from 0 to 70 mph and have not experienced shimmering on the searing wheel.
Discount Tire did not even rebalance the tires and they also had all four tires at 80PSI.
Tell me who would you go to when it's time to buy tires !
Discount Tire is, a BIG BOX TIRE STORE and the only thing they are concerned with is sales, No customer service at all.
I am a new customer to Goodyear Tire Lawrenceville, Ga.
They cared enough about a brand new customer to get 20 to 30 thousand more miles out of a set of Michelin tires that came from a lousy big box tire store that I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO.

So I had a flat fix there one day for free that’s awesome everyone charge’s like $5 anyway than I go the following week to fix the other side cause I been putting air every other week so supposedly they fix it I had to wait close to 2 hours that said it is ready I get up the next morning to go to work the tire has 20 pounds of hair so I go back to them to get air I had to wait 20 minutes No complaining they were yay so I get one of the managers rude as heck I ask him is it the one in the front cause I got that one fix yesterday he said I don’t know, anyway I go back in the afternoon again and told them I had this fix yesterday and came back at 12 and the tire only had 17 pounds of air and they said let me take a look at it so I figure the plug was put in wrong or something I hear nothing than I got a text message your car is ready so I was like cool than I had to wait about another 20 minutes outside waiting than they pull it out than this guy some manager comes out of my car and goes let’s go inside we had to put a new tire I was like what? Than he goes to he’s computer and starts typing and he goes like we had to put a new tire but I’m not going to charge you for this and that I was like ok but I didn’t know I had a bad tire or I had to buy a new one no body ever said anything to me until than than I was like ok but I felt like so disrespected like what about if I had no money to pay for it or in my mind I was like did they mess up my tired and now I have to pay for a new one I just wish he would tell me more information before changing to a new tire.

Air
I stop at at Discount tire on Braker Lane in Austin Tx. to have a tire aired up. They checked the thread depth and said I had plenty of tread left on the tire but they could not air up the tire even though it was all most flat. They wanted to sell me a new tire instead. They preferred me to drive on a tire that was low on air if they could not sell me a new tire. This is not the only bad experience I have had with Discount Tire. I Took my Truck to another Discount Tire to have a flat fixed and they also told me they could not repair it and they didnt have the Pielli tire size but they would sell me a different brand which was also slightly different size. I declined and went down the street and and they repaired the tire. I have purchased plenty set of tires over the years but now I am going to rethink buying another set from you.
Honoeing milage warrenty
Purchase 4 Michllin P 265/70 R 17 tires in 10-16-2014 . They begin to lose air pressure after a few days. I went to the Discount Tire Center in Conroe Texas to have them checked. Looked at them and told me that they were out of warranty and I needed to replace all 4. Because the thread was parting from the main part of the tire., I pointed out to them that they were 65000 mile warranty tires and I have never had this problem in any of the Mich tires in the past 20 years and these only had 38252 miles on them and no mention of a time limit when I purchased these tires. My receipt only states the millage . They refused to honor this as I was informed that there was a sign in the store stating these conditions. It was not their when I made the initial purchase. They refused to honor the 65000 mile warranty.

Tire pressure monitor sensor(tpms)
Back in february I replaced the four tire sensors in 2 visits. A couple weeks ago the "tpms" light came on again so I went back and they replaced one of the sensors at no cost since still under warranty. Today, the light came on again, I went back and I was told that another sensor is bad but is not under cover because their records indicate that only 3 of them were replaced in february and of course the one thats bad is the one... I argued with one of the supervisors because I already payed for all sensors to be replaced and they want me to pay again!
It feels like they are trying to take advantage of me. And it sucks because I dont think there is anything I can do to make them honor the warranty!
Desired outcome: I would like the store to make things right
Flat tire repair
August 10, 2021 I am Trying the town center way, Bryan Discount tire location for first time. Arrived on time for my 9:30 appt but still not in the bay At 10am They tell me they allow 45 minutes wiggle room on all appointments. They booked 4 people for 9:30 but only have 3 bays. Will go back to College station location next time. Overbooking is no excuse! Other locations in college station have honored appointment times and will be where I go from now on.

I recently visited Discount Tire on 8/22 for a tire balance and rotation. Upon opening my car door, the driver side panel to my drive side car seat was laying on the floor broken. All 4 clips were snapped off. The guy who moved my car in and out of the garage stated to me "He is a small guy and doesn't believe he did this". The general manager of the store Cris then came outside and essentially told me the same thing and didn't believe they were responsible. I told both the employee and the GM that I left my car intact with them and upon getting it back my driver side panel to my car seat was broken. I never even got in my car, I opened the door and it was clearly hanging down on the floor. Cris said he was going to file a claim with customer service and that someone would be in touch with me within 24 to 48 hours. On 7/25 I sent Cris and email from the card he provided as I hadn't heard from anyone. I followed up with my email on 7/28. Cris responded on 7/28 stating a file has been made and someone should reach out to me. I emailed again on 7/30 to see who I can contact since no one has contacted me and have yet to get a response. Would someone please contact me about getting this resolved?

Took my wife's car in June to get tires. Had a tire sensor light on was told they. could replace all of them for 30.00 each since they only last 5 years. So, car is done never came out and let me know anything bill ready only replaced 2 but he let me have them for 30.00 each paid the bill and left. Two weeks later tire light on again. So made another appointment to get last 2 seniors replaced. Went in and stated replace the other 2 sensors. Looked at receipt to find out they lied I and charged me 45.00 each. So, the kid comes in and said car was done. I asked if he replaced both sensors, he said no just right front, so I told him take it back in and change the other one his response was, but the light is off so now car is done. Paid the bill and tire light is now on again. went back and was told to drive it awhile. The whole point is they don't listen a 2nd trip and still did not listen

My Vehicle being damaged
On 07/14/2022 I took my Toyota Rav 4in to get the replaced I left and returned in about 20-30 minutes when I returned I see my Suv Jacked up the ground wet under it all my gas leaking out because the Tire Tec has cracked my gas tank by not jacking it up corrertly. Now I don't have a car until it gets repaired. Fleet Response set up a rental for 07/15/2020//07/16/2022//0717/2022 to be returned on 07/18/2022 well there was no cars to rent at enterprise so now I still don't have a car I work have no way to get there. Rims were severely damaged when putting on new tires
All Four rims had glue and the edges severely damaged. The sales person said just wash my car and it will all go away. Since discount tire did not do anything, I had another opinion. My rims cannot be repaired the gouges are too deep. It would cost $205 to replace each rim. Also I was told I needed wipers and was charged $41.14. I told them I just had them replaced in June. So I am asking refund even though I can’t get mine back because the sales person lied

I schedule a tire repair on Discount tire store located on 12125 Montwood Dr
In El Paso, TX [protected], Mr. Marco A C received me at the location and after 2 hours waiting, he told me they did not have the tires for my truck in stock by that moment and needed to have them ordered for the following day and schedule me for the following day upon receipt of tires delivered to the store. Of course, I agreed to that option since it was the only one given to me. Following day, I received a call from the store telling me to drive up the store that they had the tires ready for my installation. when I got to the store i was told I had to wait from 2 to 3 hours to install two tires after been waiting 2 days by then. I just couldn't wait any longer and ask Marco to put my tires in the back of my vehicle that I would look for some other place to get my tires installed. this got me frustrated since I have a commercial account with discount tires for my fleet and this is the second time that happens to me. unfortunately, I'm a have to look for another store that can offer better and more responsive service then Discount Tire.
PS. Tried to talk to a Manager Store and still up today have not been possible. This is the kind of service you have. a mediocre nonresponsive service.
