Discount Tire Good service

I purchased a set of tires for my 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 and the next day my low pressure light came on. I wasn't able to go back until a few weeks later. When I did go back I had the pleasure of working with a young lady named Stephanie. I wasn't happy about the 2.5 hr wait so I came back the next morning and thankfully I was able to work with her again. She personally checked my pressure both days and checked my sensors the second day. Long story short it was just a bad stem, but her service was right on point.Not to mention she's real easy on the eyes. I appreciate all of her help.

Discount Tire Always Consistent

I drove past 20+ tire stores to get to the Discount Tire in Lakeland...and it was worth it. I've always had great experiences at their stores in the Chicagoland area and wish they had stores in Tampa, but for now, I will travel to Lakeland.

I needed a tire replacement and for a couple tire sensors to be replaced and I got the usual exemplary service. The Discount Tire experience is always a good mix of being helpful, knowledgeable, cost competitive and timely. There are only a few brands that care about the customer experience like Discount Tire...I will continue to use this company for the foreseeable future. Thanks to Emmit for his help in getting my family in and out so quickly.

Discount Tire Great tires and fastt / great sales WOMEN

I ordered 4 tires on weds nite over phone and i received them friday morning by fed ex, the person did there job and over and above, she looked up all options for my vette and she took my order as i requested for the tires i wanted, price was great and shipping was FAST. She was great to deal with and iam a retired auto repair shop owner and i wish there was 10 of this person. She needs to be awared for first doing her job, second for going over and above, and third for not saying any lies. She was great to deal with and i dont take time out to write reviews. Discount Tire Great Company

I have nothing but great things to say about discount tire company, i always have great experiences with them. The latest amazing experience i had was in Mukilteo WA. I had a flat tire on my rental car and I happened to be very close to discount tire. I stopped at the location and spoke to Preston Henske and he told me that the waiting time would be 3+ hours, when i explained that i am visiting from Colorado and our time is very limited and we are long time Discount Tire customers. Preston took our car and replaced the flat tire with the spare one immediately. This is what i call great customer service. I always have been a big fan of Discount Tire and will continue to use them and highly recommend them. Kudos to Preston and his team!

Discount Tire Awesome customer service in St. Augustine

We are from NJ, drove from Georgia to St. Augustine stopping for air in our tire every 50 miles on Sunday. We took our car to Discount tires in St. Augustine on Monday, and can not believe how wonderful they were. Without an appt. We took the car to them at 1:00 pm. We let them know that we would rather get 2 front tires to match than one if the tire was ruined, which we assumed it was. They called us within the hour to let us know that our tire was very fixable and they felt if they moved it to the back, it had good tread, that that would suffice, We were so surprised, expecting to buy 2 new tires. When we went to pick it up, they wouldn't allow us to pay them anything. Christian, the man we dealt with, could not have been kinder, or more professional. If there is any way to get to these people, we would highly recommend going there.

Discount Tire Great Customer Service and Warranty at Discount Tire

I just took my car to Discount Tire at 8335 US Hwy. 31 S in Indianapolis, IN today and was very satisfied with their tire replacement policy and customer service. I purchased the Falken tire about a year ago, and it still had a lot of tread left. I got a flat tire and told Discount that I wanted to claim my Road Hazard warranty on the certificate that I bought. Evan, the salesman, said that was no problem and that Discount would either repair or replace the tire free of charge.

Evan said they were very busy, (I was 5th in line), and that it would take about 1? hours to get the repair done. I told him I would be at a nearby restaurant while I waited. Apparently they worked very fast, replaced the tire, and had the car done in 45 minutes. The restaurant was noisy and I didnt hear my phone when he called. I was just amazed when Evan walked a block to the restaurant, came inside and told me my car was ready. Now thats great customer service!

Discount Tire It's been forever since I've had that kind of service

I woke up to a flat the other day so I put on the donut and as soon as I got to work I called discount tire. DT told me I could bring in my tire after work and they would take a look. I brought it in to the location off of Los Altos Pkwy at around 5pm, they told me they could fix it but that they close as 6pm. They said they would text me when they were working on it and if I came back when I received the text chances are they would be able to get my tire back to me.

So I got the text and went back over there, it was 7:45pm and not only were they still there working, a guy actually took my tire out to my jeep because he said his hands were already dirty. So because they were closed I didn't even ask them to put the tire on in the bay, I'm sure all those guys were just trying to get home. I was outside in their parking lot and having problems with my cheap jack and wasn't having the best time changing my tire. When there were two guys left I'm assuming closing up for the night one of the guys asked me if I was alright or if I needed help. I explained to him that my jack wasn't lifting up right.

So the guy comes back out with the Asst manager Andrew and the manager asks me if I need any help. I had explained that I was getting the jack to work and that I'm probably good, Andrew told the other guy to run back in the shop and get the hammer drill (power driver) and a large torque wrench anyways. The guy comes out and Andrew uses the driver to tighten my lugs and then adjusts them with the torque wrench.

First of all these guys were grinding two hours past close, second of all they take my tire out for me when I'm sure they're trying to get home and finally they come out to check on me and helped me tighten my tire down in the parking lot. They did not have to do any of the things I just mentioned. I want to give a shout out to Andy and his team for going the extra mile after hours to make sure I was good. I will be back and they will have my business going forward no matter what. You just don't get service like that anymore anywhere! Thanks Andrew!

Discount Tire Very dissatisfied!!!!

I recently purchased new wheels and tires from Discount Tire, and unfortunately, the overall experience has been less than satisfactory. I spent a significant amount of money, approximately $7000, on a new set of wheels, expecting professional installation and a smooth, problem-free ride. However, the service I received fell short of my expectations.

During the initial installation, the technicians at Discount Tire failed to install the hub center rings properly, resulting in noticeable vibrations in the car. Upon returning for a second service, I discovered that one of the hub center rings had been installed backwards, causing additional issues and contributing to further vibrations. While they corrected this mistake for one wheel, the other three were left with correct installations, yet the wheels continued to vibrate.

During the third service visit, the technicians took an alarming 15 minutes to hammer the hub rings into place, inadvertently causing damage to the threading where the hub rings would sit. They eventually placed the rings correctly, but the damage caused by the hasty installation was concerning.

On the fourth visit, they had to rebalance the wheels after the initial rebalancing, as they discovered that the wheels were off by 2 ounces. This additional misstep further compounded my frustration with the ongoing issues.

To add to the frustration, 20 days went by before Discount Tire initiated a claim to replace the one problematic wheel. This delay in addressing the issue only prolonged the inconvenience and dissatisfaction.

Furthermore, during the multiple service visits, I discovered that my wheels had been scratched, causing additional damage to my property. This lack of care and attention to detail is unacceptable, and it further reflects the subpar quality of service I received.

What's more, throughout this entire ordeal, nobody from Discount Tire approached me to find a satisfactory solution, despite my loyalty as a customer. As a result, I am not satisfied with the resolution, especially when it involves replacing a brand new wheel. I have wasted time, effort, and money, even having to purchase replacement hub centering from BBS and take time off work to address these ongoing issues. The entire experience has left me feeling extremely disappointed, and in hindsight, I regret choosing Discount Tire for my car service needs.

In conclusion, my experience with Discount Tire has been marred by repeated installation errors, ongoing issues with wheel vibrations, a delay in addressing concerns, damage to my wheels, and a lack of proactive customer service. The inconsistent quality of service, the prolonged inconvenience, and the failure to resolve the root cause of the problem have left me feeling frustrated and disillusioned. I hope that Discount Tire takes immediate steps to improve their installation processes, quality control, and customer service to prevent similar issues for future customers.

Discount Tire Deliberate Bait and Switch (?)

9/6 Show Low AZ. Purchased 2 tires through saleman. Specifically requested BF Goodrich A/T's size 285/75R16. After intially going to BIG O in Pinetop and was told they were currently out of stock. The salesperson at Big O called Discount to verify that they had the BFG A/Ts in stock. She was told by the DT salesperson that they currently had 8 in that size that he would put aside 2 for me. When I arrived at DT to make my purchase the salesman excused himself to "go in the back" to locate the tires. After 10 minutes he returned to say he had 3 in stock not 8. He rang up my purchase and advised me to return at 1730 to have them installed.
When I requested a copy of my receipt he placed his hand over it and told me I would get a receipt once the tires were installed. When I arrived back to the hotel my Son complained he was not feeling well. Concerned for my Son I attempted to notify the franchise that I could not make the 1730 appointment time. After 8 failed attempts (unanswered phone calls that went only to a prerecorded message plus a text message) to contact the salesman to inform him of the circumstances and assure him I would be in early the next morning. When I went in early on the 7th, I was referred to a different salesman named Jeri though the previous salesman from the day before was available. After the tires were installed I was handed my receipt by the tire tech that brought my truck around.
However when I arrived home 2 hours and 100 miles away, my husband asked me why would I buy Cooper tires when I knew all he used were BFG's. I was dumbfounded. So I phone the franchise and spoke to a Salesman named Jason. He said he'd "be happy to exchange the tires for the BFG's at a higher price. But he didn't understand the problem with installing the Cooper tires." I was not about to drive 2 hours back to their location to have the tires replaced!
Now I'm questioning the whole experience: How 8 in stock,went to 3 in stock? The withholding of my initial receipt? The abrupt change in salespersonal and finally having tires I did not order, arbitrarily being installed on my vehicle without my knowledge or permission. In retrospect the whole transaction was sketchy, I feel I was the victim of a bait and switch scheme, and I will be filing a complaint with the office of the AG in AZ.

On Wed Dec 13 2023 I bought tires at the discount tire store Flemming Island FL at 3:35 I was told to return at 4:45 and was sent a tracker. At 5:00 I walked by and my car was still in the parking lot not touched. I called at 528 they said they would get it in soon. I have 4 cars and buy all my tires from your stores. As of today I will take my business elsewhere. This is not the Discount tire of the past. What a disappointment.

Discount Tire Changing a tire

I've been a long time customer, purchased many, many tires started using Liberty store but they couldn't install TPS s right so started going top Roank store by Zona Rosa needed to transfer a never used spare tire to regular wheels on car excellent shape never ran on car they refused said too old took it to Goodyear they laughed said tire was in excellent shape they mounted and balanced, interesting Discount had no problem wanting to SELL me a new tire. I've built and raced cars for years and replaced many, many tires this new idea is a scam. They now have lost me and my 3 sons and 3 grandchildren's business (all driving age) as a well know retire businessman in the KC area I will tell all I know this scam, I influence many. Another trying to treat people as being stupid, I would put this top brand against any your tires for safety, today, tomorrow, and next year.

Discount Tire Vehicle damage

Discount Tire (DT) used 4 floor jacks under the body sheet metal (it's not a unibody) instead of the frame rails. As a result I have jack locations of bent body sheet metal they are claiming Plausible Deniability. Now I am in a they say/ I say situation.

I've had 8 sets of tires mounted on that truck over 37 years of bought new ownership and only DT used floor jacks and caused the only damage.

I am awaiting the "impartial" insurance investigators report, but she has stated DT is their client. Luckily the sheet metal rolled and not creased so repairs by an shop should be easy.

Sad to see DT deny something they know they did, as other shops have similar complaints as well from jack lifting.

Time will tell if DT will show integrity and do the right thing.

Desired outcome: Insurance to pay for a body shop to fix the 4 jack points damage. I'd estimate it's a 4 hour job. Not looking for an paint work as the sheet metal can be returned to factory shape without the need for painting.

Discount Tire Refusal of service

Recently, I visited the Discount Center in Gardena, California. I had an appointment this past Thursday at 5:30pm; however, I was told by the Manager Victor that he did not have my appointment in the system. Although, I was able to show the appointment request by phone; in addition,

there was a total of 3 workers including the manager on duty and only 1 car being serviced, I was told I could not get an oil change due to him not having a technician. Correct me if I’m wrong, an oil change is extremely simple. The car is drained of old oil, a new filter is added and new quarts of oil are added. Why would a technician be needed? This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this problem with making an appointment and getting refused on service. It depends on what mood the staff is in which determines the level of service that you will receive. Please note, I was called by Manager 10 minutes later offering to reschedule the appointment for the following day.

Discount Tire Service

Standing in after entering employee that walks up to counter totally ignored my standing there, he proceeded to ask another customer that had been serviced properly by another employee and then proceeded to answer a phone call when it rang looked over another employee waiting on another custome I then felt something rude was happening to me so I walked out he then followed saying he had to clock in before he could help MEwhereas he was already helping and working by asking other’s customers did they need help answering the phone and looking over another employee’s problem. I saw him looking my way from the corner of his eyes but he never once said he would be with me or anything just kept overlooking me. I buy tires from Dicount for years never really coming for checking but my tire was low with a light on.

Discount Tire New tires

I called and spoke with a woman about getting two tires for my kids car in Manchester CT. When we spoke I told her Im in TX and will need to use my CC for payment. When My son got to the store the price was different then agreed and was told they cant take my CC on the phone. The person I spoke with did not offer any great service and I will never use your company again.

Discount Tire Lifetime warranty

In March of 2023 we purchased 4 Kumho tires for my Charger from Discount Tire. We were offered the Lifetime Warranty and thought that would be a good deal for us, so we accepted. We paid $122.12 for the Lifetime Warranty of 4 brand new tires. As we reached 5000 miles on the tires, I took the car back to Discount Tire for tire rotation. I was told that the back passenger tire tread was gone and that the tire needed to be replaced. (Again, tire was purchased March 2023, and this is August 2023). I was told that I needed to pay $77.00 which was for tire installation of the new tire and for a new Lifetime Warranty that needed to be added back on the new tire. After I complained they deducted the installation fee, but I still had to pay for the Lifetime Warranty of the new tire and pay for Adjustment/Bal and Val which was a separate charge. Now I've paid Lifetime Warranty for 5 tires. (As I look at my 2 front tires the tread is looking low on them as well). If the tire is defective, why would I have to pay for another Lifetime Warranty when the Lifetime Warranty was paid for the first time? What's the purpose of this Lifetime Warranty? Very misleading and scandalous.

Desired outcome: Refund of the Lifetime warranty for the new tire and front tires replaced. Seems to be a defective batch of tires.

In July of 2022 on the 26th, Discount was having a sale, and picked up on it. I purchased 4 brand new tires for my Dodge dart sxt. which came around 286.00 after taxes and something.
