Awful product! Base coat went on with hundreds of small bumps. And this was the second time with a new can of TouchUpDirect paint! Learned my lesson.

I ordered color and clear coat pens. The color coat had less than five drops, and the clear coat arrived empty, and I couldn't get the brush end open. A real ripoff.

Defective product, worst customer service. Delayed response followed up by a nasty, rude email. Obviously a scam company selling bad products to unsuspecting customers.

TouchUpDirect I can't reach the company by phone or email

I can't reach the company by phone or email. They claim to have pain experts available anytime to assist with your project. But when you call, you're put on hold for about 30 seconds to a minute, and then it says no one's there to help and hangs up every time.

TouchUpDirect Wow, I gotta say, this product is just terrible

Wow, I gotta say, this product is just terrible. I've painted all sorts of things, like fancy cabinets and fixing up car wheels, but this one takes the cake for being the absolute worst. I mean, even those tiny stone chips looked better than this stuff once I used it. And don't even get me started on the problems I had with it. Hairs kept falling out, and the tip would either pour out too much or not at all. Can you believe it? But wait, it gets even worse! When I called customer service to explain the damage, one of the reps actually laughed at me. And to top it off, when I asked for clarification, a supervisor just hung up on me. Can you believe the nerve?

TouchUpDirect This product is just ridiculous

This product is just ridiculous. The price is way too high, and the pen tip is way too wide for small scratches, which is what most of us buy it for. The primer goes on all rough and bubbly, and it looks terrible. The base coat and "mid" coat are just awful. It's like watered-down paint that dripped down from the scratch on my car. Once it dried, it looked like I dipped a q-tip in my paint color and slapped it on. I can't stress this enough, I actually applied two coats of base coat for the scratch, let it dry for 30 minutes, and then took my car for a drive for an additional 30 minutes. After that, I applied the clearcoat and the pen actually removed the base coat paint down to the primer, making it look awful. Do I expect it to look like my car just got a fresh paint job? No. But you're basically slathering your scratch with multiple coats of different colors. It looks terrible and sticks out like a wart on a car. This product is just awful and way overpriced. Just go to Walmart and get a spray can for 8 bucks. I'll save myself a ton of money and just get a whole new paint job to cover up the dings and scratches because this product is a joke. It's like one of those infomercials that make you laugh.

TouchUpDirect So, I ordered their fancy spray can kit that's supposed to have everything you need

So, I ordered their fancy spray can kit that's supposed to have everything you need. Their website claims it can cover a hood or a deck lid. I used it to paint a small white gelcoat fiberglass roll pan, which is way smaller than a hood or deck lid, unless they meant a model car. Anyway, I followed all the instructions and even watched their videos. I put down 3 coats of primer and then managed to paint 3 coats of base coat. Next, I painted it with 3 coats of midcoat since it's a tri coat. Finally, I applied 3 coats of clear coat. The paint job turned out smooth, but it was the wrong color and didn't match as they promised. I tried contacting them through calls and emails, but got no resolution. So, I took my vehicle to a Cadillac body shop and they used a spectrometer. They confirmed that the color was definitely off and that the color I had was alpine white. I informed the company about this, and they gave me three different reasons why it's not the right color - two of them were my fault and one was theirs. I have all the emails to prove it. Finally, today they told me that I didn't order enough paint for my job. It seems to me that there are two things going on here. First, their website lies about what their product can cover, and even if I ordered two cans, it wouldn't magically change the base color, it would just give me more layers of it. Second, their color match guarantee is also a lie. So, I've learned my lesson and I just hope that people will do more research before ordering from this company.

TouchUpDirect I would give ZERO stars if possible

I would give ZERO stars if possible. The paint was not a match. I pointed out that they have 2 different paint codes stating it's a match for a specific color & it's obviously not. I went step-by-step AFTER I watched every video they had along with videos of others. The entire process was irritating. The first "attempt" I had the color peel off down to the primer & surface I had covered. The tip of their pen is incredibly hard & too big, the paint doesn't come out smooth (doesn't matter how I applied it) & the clear coat ended up drying up INSIDE THE TUBE before I could finish THE SECOND ATTEMPT. I contacted customer support, told them the color isn't a match. The guy that responded told me I'd have to start over (as if that was gonna make the color match). He also requested to see a pic of my door jam with the color code. Basically, he made it seem like it was my fault the color didn't match. Requested pictures AND videos of not only my door jam where the color code is located, every step of the process I did & the finish product... After using nearly all the paint & having my clear coat dry up INSIDE the tube on my final attempt, I reached out for a refund. Took them over 4 days to respond to that request... and that was also MY FAULT according to them. They lied said they processed a refund & I'd have it in 3-5 business days depending on my bank. My bank immediately makes my funds available as soon as they're sent/deposited, doesn't matter where it comes from. I call after 3 business days (5 days total) & asked where my refund was & when exactly it had been processed on their end? Was fed some more bs then told if I didn't receive the funds in my account by THE SIXTH BUSINESS DAY then I should contact my bank because it on them. Just don't with this company & people. Don't.

On July 9, 2022, I bought a fancy car paint touch up kit from www.touchupdirect.com. It arrived on July 16, 2022, and cost me $76.50. When I tried using it on my car's front bumper, it didn't turn out like they said it would. This made me have to go to a body shop to get it painted properly. Sadly, I couldn't send the kit back or get my money back from the seller.

On August the 10th, I finally got my order from TouchUpDirect. The items were clearly used, you could tell someone had already used them. I reached out to them, but I haven't heard anything back regarding this used product they sent me. If they're not gonna send me something brand new, then they better give me my money back. I paid a good amount of money for this, and I didn't pay that much for a damaged product.

TouchUpDirect On July 21 at 8:07pm, I ordered from TouchUpDirect

On July 21 at 8:07pm, I ordered from TouchUpDirect. The next day, I realized I couldn't stay at the place where I wanted the package to be delivered. So, at 12:22pm on July 22, I contacted TouchUpDirect to cancel. They replied and said they would pass on the message to the shipping department. I didn't hear back for 48 hours, and when I asked for an update, they said they tried to contact me but the email didn't go through. Despite my cancellation, the shipment was still sent and USPS received it at 11:02pm on the 22nd, more than ten hours after I canceled. It's hard to believe that a big company like them couldn't stop the package they had just addressed to me that day. It seems like they just wanted to keep my money. It feels like a scam.

TouchUpDirect I bought some paint for my car from TouchUpDirect

I bought some paint for my car from TouchUpDirect. But guess what? They sent me the wrong color! Can you believe it? The color codes I gave them were totally different from what they sent me. So, I reached out to them and they asked me to double-check the codes. I did that and confirmed that I was right all along. But you know what they told me to do? They told me to paint three coats of the color on a card, waiting 30 minutes between each coat. And then, they said I should spray three coats of clear paint over it, again waiting 30 minutes between each coat. And after all that, they wanted me to take a picture of the card and send it to them. Can you imagine? I told them more than once that I could just send them a picture, which would clearly show that the paint color was way off. But they haven't bothered to respond to me about the problem. It's pretty obvious that they're just trying to avoid the issue and give me the runaround with these ridiculous tasks. So, I need your help to get a full refund of $56.00. I'll just buy the right paint from another company instead.

I bought somethin' from TouchUpDirect on July 21st and paid extra for faster shippin' so I could get it by the 23rd. I needed it quick 'cause I'm headin' overseas on Monday and won't be home for like 4 weeks. But guess what? The company didn't even process my order until the 25th. So I reached out to customer service through email and a phone call on the mornin' of the 25th to cancel the order. And you know what happened next? After talkin' to customer service on the phone 'bout cancellin', the company suddenly decides to create the shippin' label for my order. Can you believe it? They're way behind the supposed delivery date and they know I'm leavin' the country soon. This company's got some real bad business practices. There's no way for me to receive the item, but they still went ahead and shipped it after I asked 'em to cancel. I want my money back! In the supportin' document, you'll see a phone call I made to their customer service number for 33 minutes and 49 seconds. You'll also see the supposed delivery date on the order invoice for the upgraded shippin' and my complaint email showin' that they didn't ship the item until the 25th.
