We had always had good service from them.
In June - it took number of calls and emails threatening them and eventually after 6 weeks our order arrived.
We placed an order in August 2018 and we are still waiting. They took over $230 from us and are ignoring our emails. Now neither of the phones actually takes voice mails so you cant even leave them a message.
I've emailed twice again and still no response.
undelivered dog food order
I placed an order last 12th August 2018 and paid thru PayPal $99.95 for a 13kg Taste of the Wild kibble and until now (it's been 16 days), no product is delivered nor any response from the emails sent and calls made. I've reported this to PayPal for a refund (awaiting action) and will report to Fair Trading too. This is unacceptable. I hope this business will get what they deserve soon. Such a rip off!

I got totally scammed by dogfood.com.au. I ordered two weeks ago and my overnight express order has still not been delivered and despite sending emails and making calls I have never heard back. dogfood.com.au is a scam. From all the other complaints about this business it looks like I'm not the only one. Too many people are loosing money. This business needs to be investigated.
never received cat food
I ordered cat food on the 25th of April after confirming with them they do price match then when I ordered I never heard anything and its been two week, two emails went unanswered asking when my item would be delivered and my phone call I made today wasn't answered.
I am trying to get the bank to reverse it but as it was my husbands card (with my money he put on it) he needs to talk to the bank and he's on night shift for the next four nights and a grumpy sob
I would like to see this company shut down who knows how much money they have taken off people!
My poor foster cats have been without food for two weeks and have been sneaking the dogs food as I spent my last $122 on this food. I live pay to pay atm I can't afford to loose such a lot of money I pay for all their care out of my own pocket and the rescue helps when they can which isn't very much but I do it because I love to help cats.
I have contacted Pet Circle and they got back to me in two hours price matching and will send it ASAP I'm sorry I ever left Pet Circle

Dogfood.com. au is one of the most hopeless and pathetic people to deal with. I ordered holistic select on 4 weeks ago and nothing has been delivered.2 weeks ago I received an email from the courier company that a parcel has been booked however dogfood.com. au did not deliver at the courier office for them to deliver it to us. I called these people endless times. Majority of the times no one will pick the phone and by any chance if someone does then they are rude and tells me to forget about the order now. Left countless messages, emails with no response. Will be taking them to VCAT for a resolution.

The website itself is very buggy and is often "down for maintenance" (not very helpful when you have placed an order with them or need to check something). The 'hotline' that they have on their website is rarely manned, so be prepared to leave dozens of messages before they return your call - IF they return your call at all.
The dog food that I have ordered from them has been delivered with tears in the bags, as if rats have eaten them. Most recently they delivered only half of my order, and after weeks of chasing them and them telling me that the rest was "on it's way" but never arriving, I eventually asked them for a refund. 'Ivan' flat out told me that he wasn't going to give me one.
Ivan's professionalism is also questionable, in previous conversations with him he has asked me if I ever travel to his location as he was impressed with me and would like to meet me. I am not sure if this was a veiled threat or a pitiful attempt at flirting, but either way it is unprofessional and unwelcome. Needless to say, the remainder of my order has never arrived, nor have I received my refund.
And I have since heard similar stories from other ex-customers. Think twice before ordering through this company.

I tried to order dog food through their website, using paypal. I left different phone numbers. Somehow, I ended up ordering two items even though I only requested one. Money was deducted, via paypal for both purchases...I tried emailing and phoning - never to obtain a response. Finally, after placing my order on 06.12.09, I was able to speak to Ivan on 13.01.10, after disputing one transaction with paypal. He was not happy because it had "created a lot of paperwork" for him...He told me that the order was still in my basket and that although he had received the money, he had never received the order? I don't understand it all. Paypal has ALWAYS been excellent to use...my order is confirmed through paypal, so I have no idea what happened. I swear I never ordered two of the items, and if I did, why was only one in my basket? Ivan complained, was difficult to understand and basically didn't want my custom in future. Dogfood is difficult to contact and not very "user friendly" particuarly if a problem arises. I would not recommend using them and disputing claims with Ivan. This whole transaction has caused a lot of heart ache and Ivan made me feel it is all my fault. Paypal have been excellent and state that the money has gone to their account, twice, so they are following it up. Fingers crossed!...

Robert you are a liar! I have been dealing with you for a month over a 2 transactions that I did not authorise and never made an order on your website. You have repeatedly advise me that you will credit 1 of the amounts as this was a duplicate transaction but I am still waiting for the refund.

I didn't receive my order, but if I was you, I'd take photos of the goods you received as they are not what you ordered! Just contact Dept of Fair Trading & they will step you through it. Keep all the evidence you have of communication (& lack of).
I ordered a few things including a 10kg bag of dog food ($94.95). It arrived but when we opened the bag it was full of weavels. Also, there was no expiry date on the bag and our local Pet Barn said it isn't legal to sell without that. I have emailed and called them and there is no response. It looks like my money is totally down the drain.
Lodge with Department of Fairness trading and they will advise you how to lodge a request with your bank to reverse payment. I received my money back and can't thank the Department enough for looking after customers from scumbags like this!

Well it looks like I am joining this growing list of people on here. Ordered 30th June. now 11th July and no one answers the phone to even find out. Online account t says order is processing. Great, where ?

Lodge a complaint with Dept Fair Trading in your State/Territory. They will follow up & give you advice with what to do with your bank. If customers don't lodge complaints, he gets away with it.
They are crooks-I placed an order, after two weeks still not arrived. I sent emails & tried to ring. Then I lodged a complaint with Department of Fair Trading. I suggest anyone else who has the same issue, do the same! Just lodge with their online open. The department knows the 'company. You can also track the real owner of the business through the ABN number & you'll see him on his LinkedIn account-posing as a business person, truck driver but I feel he should add thief!

Been with them for several years they were good. Latest order did not arrive..landline and mobile rings out. Money taken from my credit card and tracking number showed my purchase was delivered. When i rang delivery company thay said my package was not made up. When i asked why does tracking say it was delivered they told me dogfood.com.au has online access and they loaded thus itself...AVOID
Useless dishonest company - ordered $300 worth on April 5 - not delivered until April 23. Refused delivery as Id purchased elsewhere. Dispute with paypal took until May 2 to get refund as seller told paypal that the items had been delivered. Calls emails and texts went unanswered. Never again. Numerous complaints tell the same story.
avoid this company at all costs, dodgy as they come, say its been delivered when its never been sent... dispute it through paypal a month later when they finally send... boxes of sealed dog biscuits are infested with weevils to the point they took over my house in 24hours. disgusting company just ignores emails, phonecalls and text messages

Absolutely shocking service! I am new to Australia and ordered dog food earlier in the week so it arrived for when my dogs arrived from quarantine. One of my dogs has to have special food because he has kidney disease. I ordered the food and it hasnt arrived, no email to say it has even been dispatched and when I can finally get through on the phone, I am told that the person who deals with it isnt in the office and will be back, Twice I got spun that line and I have rung about 20 times today, only to be answered twice. I am going to speak to my bank and ask them to cancel the order and get me the refund so I can order from somewhere else! Absolutely useless! Avoid! I am now left where my dogs have no food for when they arrive on Monday and I will have to now find a vet to buy some emergency food for him! Not happy! Please do not put yourself through using this company!
