Mixed experiences with DollarBead.com: Good products, poor customer service
I've been shopping at DollarBead (dollarbead.com) for a while now and I've had mostly good experiences. However, there were two times when I had some issues with my orders. In both cases, I was charged for items that I never received. It was really frustrating because I had to spend a lot of time arguing my case with DollarBead.com. It felt like they were accusing me of doing something wrong, which was really unfair.
The worst part was that DollarBead.com was really slow to respond to my messages. I had to wait for a long time before I got any kind of resolution. It wasn't until I got Paypal involved that they finally took action. This was really disappointing because I had always thought that DollarBead.com was a reliable and trustworthy business.
After these experiences, I've decided to stop shopping at DollarBead.com. I don't want to risk having any more issues with my orders. I'd rather pay a bit more to shop at a bead business that values customer service and is more reliable.
Overall, I think that DollarBead.com has some good products, but their customer service needs some improvement. If they can work on being more responsive and helpful to their customers, I might consider shopping there again in the future. But for now, I'm out.
False Advertising and Cheap Quality: My Disappointing Experience with DollarBead
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with DollarBead. I ordered a bunch of beads, thinking they were gonna be glass, metal, or brass like the product descriptions said. But when I got my order, everything was made from cheap plastic! I mean, come on, that's false advertising if I ever saw it. And to make matters worse, every strand of beads had multiple plastic beads stuck together, and the paint started peeling off as soon as I tried to separate them. Not cool, DollarBead, not cool.
So I decided to complain to the company and ask for a refund. And you know what they said? They didn't even deny their false advertising! They just said I could return my order for a refund, minus the shipping. Like, seriously? That's not how you do business, guys. You can't just sell cheap plastic beads at literally top dollar prices and expect people to be happy about it.
All in all, I would definitely recommend staying clear of this company. They're just not worth the hassle. Save your money and go somewhere else for your bead needs. Trust me, you'll be much happier in the long run.
DollarBead Review: Affordable Beads, Strange Site, No Contact Info
!
So, I was looking for some beads to make some rosaries and I stumbled upon DollarBead (dollarbead.com). I was really excited because they had a lot of options and the prices were really good. I spent a couple of hours browsing and adding items to my cart. I was almost done when I got a call from a customer and had to step away for about 10 minutes. When I came back, my cart was empty! Can you believe it? It was like someone came and took my cart away while I was gone. I was so frustrated!
I decided to call the company to see if they could help me out. But when I looked for their contact information, I couldn't find anything! No phone number, no email, no address. Nothing! That was a huge red flag for me. I thought for sure that this was a scamming site and I was about to lose all my money.
But then I decided to do some more research and I found out that DollarBead is actually a legit site. They have been around for a while and they have a lot of happy customers. I was relieved to hear that, but I still couldn't understand why they didn't have any contact information on their site. It just seemed really strange to me.
Anyway, I decided to give them another chance and I placed my order again. This time, I made sure to finish my shopping quickly so that I wouldn't lose my items again. And you know what? My order arrived a few days later and everything was perfect! The beads were exactly what I was looking for and the quality was great. I was really happy with my purchase.
Overall, I would recommend DollarBead to anyone who is looking for affordable beads. Just be aware that their site is a little strange and you might have some trouble finding their contact information. But if you can get past that, you'll find some great deals on their site.
Disappointing Quality and Subscription Scam: My Experience with DollarBead
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with DollarBead. The quality of the beads was just not up to par - I got some real ugly ones that I wouldn't even dream of using in any of my projects. And don't even get me started on the size of some of them - they were so tiny that I couldn't even string them together!
To make matters worse, I signed up for a 3 month subscription, but they didn't honor it at all. They just kept charging me, no matter what. I mean, come on, that's just bad customer service. If you're gonna offer a subscription, you gotta stick to your word and not keep charging people beyond what they agreed to.
Honestly, it feels like they're just trying to bait people in and hope they forget to cancel. If the subscription continues until you physically cancel, then you're not really offering 3 or 6 month subscriptions at all. It's just not fair to the customers.
All in all, I wouldn't recommend DollarBead to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else where you can actually get some decent quality beads without all the hassle.
Disappointing Experience with DollarBead: Low-Quality Beads and Poor Customer Service
So, I decided to give DollarBead a try since I saw that they were offering beads for only $1 per strand. However, when I received my order, I noticed that the beads were made of plastic instead of glass as stated in the descriptions. I tried to contact Lisa, the owner of the company, but unfortunately, I couldn't reach her by phone. I had to send her an email to address the issue.
When I finally got in touch with Lisa, she was very rude and accused me of lying about the beads being plastic. She even hung up on me! I was really disappointed with the customer service I received from DollarBead. I mean, it's an online company, and you should be able to contact them easily if you have any issues or problems.
To make matters worse, I also noticed that most of the paint on the crackle and abstract beads I ordered was coming off. Some of the beads didn't even have any paint on them at all! It was really frustrating, and I felt like I wasted my money on these low-quality beads.
If you're thinking about ordering from DollarBead, I would advise you to think twice. Lisa needs to be more straightforward with her descriptions of the beads, and the quality of the beads needs to be improved. Plus, if you want a refund, you have to ship all the beads back to her and pay for the shipping yourself. It's just not worth the hassle. Save your time and money and look for a better bead supplier.
Great Quality and Service from DollarBead - Highly Recommend!
I recently decided to give DollarBead a try after reading some mixed reviews. I had started to order from them before, but backed out due to the negative feedback. However, I decided to give them a chance and I'm glad I did! My order arrived within 5 days and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I received more than what I had paid for. The quality of the beads was great and they were exactly as described on the website.
Although I did receive two broken beads out of the thousand that I ordered, I wasn't too upset about it. I understand that packages can get damaged during shipping and I was still satisfied with the overall quality of my order. I would definitely give DollarBead a 5-star rating and two thumbs up for their great service and quality products.
I also wanted to address a review I had read about the crackle beads being chipped or broken. From my understanding, the crackle effect is achieved by cooling the beads down and then heating them up rapidly. This process can cause some of the beads to shatter, resulting in a fraction of them being whole. While the ones that do make it through the process are beautiful, they can also be fragile and break easily. So, if you're purchasing something that is already broken, it's important to keep in mind that it may have been a result of the manufacturing process and not necessarily the fault of the seller.
Overall, I'm very happy with my experience with DollarBead and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for affordable and high-quality beads. Thank you, DollarBead, for a great shopping experience!
Mixed Experience with DollarBead: Great Prices, Disappointing Packaging and Customer Service
I've been a customer of DollarBead for a while now and I must say, I'm quite impressed with their prices. The beads are cheap and you can order different things to see what you like and want to reorder. However, I must say that the packaging is quite disappointing. My last order was over $90 and if you've been on their site, you know that's a lot. Everything was crammed in the priority mail bag. Beads have fallen off the string and things were broken (this order and last order). I've sent many emails and no one responds to me.
Despite the packaging issue, I decided to order one more time and it was delivered on September 3. Many items were out of stock and they replaced them with other items that I don't like. I would have preferred if they just credited me instead. Also, I was missing items and was still charged for them. It's now September 16 and I still haven't heard back from them. I guess I'll have to get PayPal involved as they'll be happy to get my money back.
If you're just beginning to make jewelry and want to know what certain beads are, this is a good place to go. You can buy a strand for a buck. If you don't like it, you're not out much. However, I must warn you about the packaging and customer service. It's quite disappointing.
Overall, I'd say that DollarBead is a good place to go if you're on a budget and want to try out different beads. However, be prepared for the possibility of receiving damaged items and poor customer service.
DollarBead Review: Cheap Beads with Imperfections and Poor Customer Service
I was super stoked to come across DollarBead. I mean, who doesn't love a good deal on some cool beads, am I right? And let me tell you, they definitely deliver on the price point. But, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. All of their beads are made in China or India, which is pretty obvious when you take a closer look at some of the glass beads. The bicones are all wonky and some of the glass beads have visible seams, which is a dead giveaway that they're from India. So, if you're expecting perfection, you might want to look elsewhere.
One thing that really bugged me was the lack of care they put into packaging the beads. I mean, they just throw them all loose in a box and call it a day. No bubble wrap, no nothing. So, it's not surprising that some of the beads arrived broken or chipped. I had to contact the company a few times about this and they were pretty rude about it. They acted like I was lying or something, which was super frustrating. But, to their credit, they did send me replacements.
However, on my fifth order, things really went downhill. I ordered a bunch of 10mm beads and instead got a box of cheap, 4mm metallic beads. When I contacted them about it, they insisted that they sent the correct beads. I mean, come on! I even sent them a picture of what I received and they didn't even bother to respond. Thank goodness I paid with PayPal and was able to get my money back. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from them again.
Overall, if you're looking for cheap beads and don't mind a few imperfections, DollarBead might be worth checking out. But, be prepared for some frustration and disappointment along the way.
Mixed Experience with DollarBead: Prompt Shipping, Good Quality Products, but Poor Customer Service
I recently made a purchase from DollarBead and was pleased to see that my order was shipped immediately. However, upon receiving my shipment, I noticed that one of the bead strings was the wrong color. I decided to cross reference the product on their website and sent a message through their messaging system. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response after several days, so I had to resort to using the "contact us" section to obtain their direct email address. I was relieved to receive a response less than a day later from Lisa Crook.
However, I was disappointed with the response I received. I explained the situation about how the beads I bought were the wrong color and Lisa Crook replied that I was wrong. I had ordered the 6mm Jasper-Style Glass beads, which are supposed to be a light blue with white speckles. However, the strings I received were black with white speckles. Lisa's only response was that "Blue is Lapis, not Jasper." I was frustrated because I expected better customer service, especially when there is a product issue. If this is how customers are treated after purchasing from this company, I may not do business here again, no matter how cheap their products are. I even had to send a screenshot of the image to show them the error on their side. They should know their products well enough to realize the mistake.
Despite this issue, the other beads I received were lovely. I would recommend DollarBead to others, but with caution. Make sure to double-check the product before purchasing and be prepared for potential customer service issues. Here's the link to the product I purchased: https://dollarbead.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=312&products_id=***.
Overall, I had a mixed experience with DollarBead. While the shipping was prompt and the products were generally good quality, the customer service could use some improvement. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and work to improve their communication and product accuracy in the future.
Dollar Bead Review: Affordable and High-Quality Beads for Jewelry Making
I just found out about Dollar Bead (dollarbead.com) in May 2022 and I have already placed four orders with them. I am happy to say that all of my orders have arrived complete and in perfect condition. I ordered glass beads and was pleased to see that there were no plastic beads in my order. The counts were accurate and there were no missing items. If an item is out of stock, you can choose to have them refund you or send you their closest replacement. I prefer to choose my own stock, so I always tick the refund box. However, it is nice to have options.
The glass and lampwork beads I received were of good quality and super inexpensive. The lampwork beads were only 5-33 cents each! The bright colors tend to sell out quickly and may or may not be restocked. The orange and white lampwork beads that have been there since May are actually orange with a subtle white spider's web design. This is not listed in the description and is hard to determine from the single photo. I couldn't use them for the project I intended them for, but I plan to make some party favors with them for Halloween.
The regular glass spacer-type beads and glass that imitates gemstones are not quite free at Dollar Bead but are still an absolute steal. I would never try to pass off faux gem beads as real, but I do like the look and the range of brilliant colors, which are hard to find in natural stones, even at premium prices.
The real gemstone beads I've bought there are mostly mid-grade in quality, but all the ones I've tested were the real stones. All the gemstone beads I've received were very pretty and useable even if they looked somewhat different in hue or pattern to the ones pictured in the photos. Generally, the photos listed are a pretty good indication of what to expect. You have to accept some variation, though, with natural stone and with handmade lampwork and hand-carved beads, as well. No two are ever going to be exactly the same. I much prefer beads that have character as opposed to the machine-pressed ones that are perfect and identical. But if you love those, Dollar Bead has plenty of those kind at great prices as well.
The packaging is minimal but effective. Breakage in my shipments has been either non-existent or negligible. I think I've lost two plain glass spacer beads out of the many hundreds of beads bought across my 4 orders. I will use the broken beads too in a mosaic as soon as I get enough to make one. I try hard not to let anything pretty go to waste. My orders have taken anywhere from a couple of days to three weeks to appear, but I expect delays these days due to covid and related supply chain issues.
I'm puzzled by the low-ball reviews I've read here about Dollar Bead. I have to think that either other reviewers have had wildly different shopping experiences from mine, or perhaps some are mistakenly reviewing some other company with a similar sounding name- like Dollar Store beads, instead of Dollar Bead beads?
At Dollar Bead, I've found gorgeous genuine rose quartz nugget beads (20 of them for a dollar,) hand-carved jade and carnelian beads, each 3 to a pack for a dollar, all sorts of gemstone strands I'd easily pay 10, 20, 30 times more for on Amazon. The pic I'm including features some I haven't used yet of the many beautiful gemstone beads I've bought at Dollar Bead.
I suspect I'm missing a lot of good stuff that flies out of there every day, even though I check what's new just about every time I go online. My best advice is, check often. If it looks intriguing, spend a dollar or 1.15 for a sample strand or single pack. If you sample 15 or so items including several strands, you will end up with hundreds of beautiful assorted gemstone and glass beads for about 25 bucks including the cost of the flat rate shipping. Seriously, where else can you find that online? I like Dollar Bead because small numbers are available. I make one-of-a-kind art jewelry. I don't have any interest in making a thousand of the same piece, so bulk isn't practical for me. With an affordable assortment, I can turn those beads into many beautiful items and please my customers with one-of-a-kind, quality pieces at fair prices, while still turning a comfy little profit for my time and work. If you are a hobbyist, just starting out, have a small local business, or sell on Etsy, I guarantee you won't be sorry if you try this supplier.
By the way, the crimp beads, jump rings, and other findings I've bought here are sturdy and have worked great for me. I also liked the galaxy glass beads I bought, which remind me of mermaid glass- very reflective and shimmery- except with more sophisticated colors and neutrals.
I absolutely love this store! I've paid more elsewhere and gotten a whole lot lot less. When I need something specific for my jewelry, I'll always check Dollar Bead first. They don't have everything I require, but they do have great stuff that I haven't found anywhere else at better prices.
I hope this review is useful to you. Also, thanks to the reviewers of these other bead suppliers, many of which I haven't tried yet! Wishing peace, light, love, good health, and a more prosperous future to all!

DollarBead Review: Missing Beads and Terrible Customer Service
ack. Not happy at all.
Yo, so I gotta tell ya about my experience with DollarBead. I ordered a bunch of beads, right? But when I got my package, a whole third of the beads were missing! I was so pissed off, man. And then, get this, I tried calling them and emailing them, but they never answered! Like, what kind of customer service is that?
I was really hoping to get my money back, but nope. Nada. Zilch. I'm not happy at all with this whole situation. It's just not cool, you know? I wouldn't recommend DollarBead to anyone, that's for sure.
Affordable and Cute Beads: My Review of DollarBead
Now, I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with DollarBead. I mean, I was a bit skeptical at first, but after ordering from them, I gotta say, they're legit. The beads are super cute and the prices are unbeatable. Plus, they have a huge selection, so you're bound to find something you like.
I did have a little issue with the color of the beads not matching the listing, but after leaving a review, they actually changed the listing to match the beads they sent me. That's some pretty good customer service if you ask me.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend DollarBead to anyone looking for affordable and cute beads. Just make sure to double check the colors before ordering.
Disappointing Experience with DollarBead: Poor Packaging and Inconsistent Quality
I ordered from DollarBead and I gotta say, the prices were pretty good. I was excited to get my package in the mail, but when I opened it up, I was pretty bummed out. The packaging was all messed up and the beads were all over the place. It was like they just threw them in there and hoped for the best.
And don't even get me started on the quality of the beads. They were all different sizes and the colors were all over the place. I was hoping for some uniformity, but that was definitely not the case.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend DollarBead. Sure, the prices are cheap, but you get what you pay for. If you're looking for some quality beads, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

Mixed Feelings: DollarBead's Good Beads, Poor Organization & Customer Service
So, I ordered from DollarBead and I gotta say, the beads are pretty good. But, they just throw them all in a bag together and don't even bother with a packing list. Like, come on, can't you at least separate them or something? One time, I got my order and it was all mixed up together. Not cool, man. And to top it off, I tried emailing them about it and no one even bothered to respond. Like, what's up with that? Overall, the beads are good, but the lack of organization and customer service is a bit of a bummer.
DollarBead Review: Great Deals on Beads, But Shipping Fees and Times are a Bummer
I gotta say, I was pretty stoked when I stumbled upon DollarBead. I mean, who doesn't love a good deal on some quality beads, am I right? But let me tell you, my excitement was short-lived when I found out about their shipping fees. I mean, come on, $5.75 for standard shipping? That's a bit steep if you ask me. And get this, even if you only buy one measly bead for a buck, you still gotta pay that same fee. What a rip-off!
Now, I ain't saying DollarBead is all bad. If you're planning on buying a whole bunch of beads, then maybe that shipping fee won't seem so bad. But for someone like me who just wants to buy a few beads here and there, it's a real bummer.
And don't even get me started on their shipping times. I ordered some beads on January 7th and didn't get them until 13 days later. Thirteen days! That's almost two weeks! Now, I don't know if that's on DollarBead's end or if it's the fault of the shipping company, but either way, it's pretty frustrating.
All in all, I'd say DollarBead is worth checking out if you're planning on buying a lot of beads and don't mind waiting a while for them to arrive. But if you're just looking for a few beads to add to your collection, you might wanna look elsewhere.
Shipping fee
Bought some beads from this store Dollarbead and they charged a shipping fee of $6! Everything on this site s super cheap and no matter how big is your order you'll have to pay for shipping. The worst part of this was that there was nothing mentioned about that! When I placed my order I as a customer wasn't warned about a shipping fee and in my opinion that only shows how unprofessional this company is. I will not buy from them again!
By the way, I'm still waiting for my order and it is now over three weeks and I'm starting to get nervous!
No info and delivery
I was so excited, when I found the website www.dollarbead.com. I immediately ordered different beads from them, as well as the seller promised to deliver it within couple of days. After that I paid about $150 for the order, and the seller sent me nothing. No info, no updates, and no delivery. Crap. These people are scammers and liars, who take money and provide nothing. Please post your comments about this company.
I didn’t receive my order that I placed and I placed it int January of 2023 and it’s now September and they said they shipped it but I have not received it and when I checked the tracking number it says label not in system which means usps has not received it so that mean they haven’t shipped it yet
I got my order today, but not all of what I ordered is here.
