Dream style window was't a dream it was a nightmare
Dream style window was't a dream it was a nightmare. We signed up for a new window on November 14' 2019, with Dana their sales rep. She told us she would push for installation prior to Christmas as the window was boarded due to breakage. The window was installed in Feb. during the installation several tiles and the ceiling was damaged. They said they would come back to fix the tile but over the phone I was asked by Manny, the installer, to take measurements so they could find matching tile, which we needed to OK. I asked Manny why they didn't take measurements when they noticed the broken tiles. Manny said the other installer should have taken them but asked for me to take them for him to save a trip out. I declined as I did not want the liability of taking the measurements as I know nothing about old tile repair and I believed it was their responsibility to deal with the issue. The "repair" was done the middle of May after I called to complain of the water damage being done to the wall. Understandably it was the middle of the Clovid outbreak which was a problem for everyone. All I asked for was a timeline and taking responsibility for the issue. I spoke with, I believe Dan, who did promise to fix it immediately which I appreciated. He said Manny was no longer working for them but it was Manny and his supervisor that came back to "fix" the broken tiles. The tiles matched OK and it looked from a distance. When I further investigated the tiles I found large gaps and very uneven tile replacement. Water was once again going into the wall. I have called back and was sent to voicemail to leave a message for the general manager. I couldn't find an email until I went to file a complaint with the complaintsboard.com. The issue, as it stands currently, is unresolved. Please note you are dealing with an out of state company from New Mexico. Caveat E.
I live in a censored location
I live in a censored area. In summary, my experience with the company is as follows. They installed new windows for us in late 2021, which was a difficult year to get anyone to work on your home, so they deserve credit for that. The salesman is local, and he was knowledgeable, straightforward, and professional, and when problems arose, he did what he could to have them addressed. Three of the four workers who came to my house during various stages of the process were hard-working and conscientious; the fourth was a hack. It appears that all the problems arose simply from the fact that all the work was done in a terrible hurry it was clear that the top priority was to get the job done and move on. The salesman had told us that a rather surgical procedure would be used to remove the old windows, but in fact they were simply yanked out of the walls, creating a lot more mess inside than anticipated. Two workers removed the windows in a single day (after arriving at 9:30a); at first everything looked fine inside, but it was clear that the insulating foam sprayed around the new windows from the outside (by the hack) was poorly done and had to be re-done. The worker who came a few weeks later to repair stucco around the outsides of the windows also had to call the installers back to clean up the mess they made of the old stucco while yanking out the original windows. Within a few months, the trim around the interior of the windows began to lift off the window frames, and it took me several months to get a repair guy to come out to fix the problem. He really did not know how to fix it, so he took a sort of Band-Aid approach, simply running caulk under the lifted trim. That is what we are now left with because the service folks at Dreamstyle have stopped returning my calls, texts, and E-mails. I really have no hope for getting any value out of Dreamstyle's lifetime warranty.
I called Dreamstyle over 4 times. Was told that someone would call me to schedule someone to co.e fix my door in 72 hours. They were supposed to call me by Jan. 3rd, still no phone call. My Dad came over and fixed the door. He is disabled and it flared the pain in his hands. There product is very expensive. You can get the same quality of product at *** for $1,000's cheaper. I would definitely go with a different company to install or buy from.
Dreanstyle Remodeling did a fantastic job in two bathroom remodels in my hone. *** and *** were very professional. *** has great customer service skills and both guys were easy to work with and very personable. Highly recommend there two installers.

In January 2022, I wanted a gas fireplace insert, and while they did offer the best price in town, I absolutely would NOT recommend doing business with them. I was treated nicely by the sales person, and given fair warning that due to COVID and supply chain issues, it might take a while to have everything installed. I understood this, and agreed to the estimated 6 week timeline. I did ask when the inspection team would come out to measure everything and was told that wasnt necessary- they do this all the time. I said I dont doubt you do, but it would make me feel better if youd have someone come take a look- and again, my request was refused. Fast forward to March, and I was informed the insert had arrived, but the decorative shroud had not, but they would be able to install the insert if I like. I said I would, but ONLY if there were no gaps as I have 2 small cats. I was assured there would be no gaps - which turned out to be false, so the installers taped a cardboard box across the large gaps. Original installation was great- no issues with that team. In May, they informed me that they had the shroud and when the installer arrived, it was the wrong size- this is exactly why I requested someone measure in the first place. They assured me they would get it cut to the correct size immediately. Now its July and I still have ugly cardboard boxes taped across my fireplace. I have been told multiple times that they are going to fix this, but nothing has been done. Its been SIX MONTHS since I placed my order and it looks terrible. This company does not care about the quality of their work- once they get their money, they stop trying to ensure the customer is taken care of. Its obvious the departments dont communicate because the *** guy came out 2 weeks ago to conduct a customer satisfaction survey and was shocked to see the state of my fireplace. Better price does not equal better service- buyer beware!
and *** did a fantastic job on my tub and shower remodel! Professional, knowledgable and courteous. The *** inspector said it was the first time he didn't have to tell a remodeler what to do!
Did an Awesome job! Love our new shower. Very high quality work with professional and courteous contractors! Very timely, also!
This company is all about sales but no service. Bought a pellet stove didnt work when I went to turn it on. Have called more than an more a dozen times and still has not been resolved. Finally got a call 2 weeks ago telling me me that they would be here the following week. Still waiting. Will never do business with this company again.
Very Happy with new double door installed today - Jan 16, 2023. The door is a perfect fit - no cool air coming in from outside! The installation by *** and *** was excellent! They came early, covered the areas that could get messy, took out the old door and installed the new one quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up what little mess there was and left us with a sparkling new door that looks great and keeps the old out!Dreamstyle Remodeling and its installers do a great job. Happy to recommend them!
Initial dealings with DreamStyle went fine although it was a more "high pressure" sales experience than expected
Initial dealings with DreamStyle went fine although it was a more "high pressure" sales experience than expected. They informed us of a lengthy turnaround for the material, and the office updated us somewhat frequently regarding status. The job itself took 2 full days, on the long end of what was quoted, but understandable. However, during the installation process, several things went wrong:One component was installed with no gasket, resulting in a water leak that we discovered when parts of the downstairs ceiling fell down. It was thankfully an easy fix and the installers patched up the ceiling (as one would hope). One upstairs door - a pocket-style slider - was damaged during the installation. More specifically its frame was modified to accommodate the new shower, and those modifications caused it to bow / concave. It now rubs on and prevents the door from opening or closing properly. This was not brought to our attention, in fact we discovered it during post-install testing and inspection. The technician tried to tell us that the door was already in that condition before, which certainly wasn't the case. The tech attempted to fix it but could not, got the project manager involved, and they were supposed to address it but that fizzled into an offer of $200 to have it fixed ourselves. After dealing with several pocket door specialists, I can conclude that $200 won't even get someone to tear the frame apart and look at it, much less commit to a solution. (several door guys wouldn't touch it at all for risk of compromising the new shower). So I called back and left a message for the project manager to inform them no deal. No response from DreamStyle. I've called four more times since then, no answer or return call. The rest of our bathroom remodel has been held up by this door issue for several months. We kept hearing how Dreamstyle was a big company that stands behind their work, but it seems more like they are so big they feel they don't have to.
Dreamstyle Remodeling sent *** and *** to remodel our old shower. What a great job. We will be using DreamStyle for other projects.
and *** did an awesome job with our shower remodel! They were very professional and friendly, very skilled workers. Would highly recommend these 2!
were the friendliest, focused & professional workers we have ever met in completing our home projects: converting our tub showers to walk-in showers. They were on time! The conversions took two (2) days & half-a-day for each. The walk-in showers are beautiful & we are happy. I would highly recommend The Dream Style Remodeling to anyone!
Just completed the shower install. *** and *** are the best. Very pleasant to talk with and a very professional job done. From the first visit with the sales to the finish product, very well done! I highly recommend Dreamstyle and ask for *** and
Extremely disappointed with our Patio Door and window project
Extremely disappointed with our Patio Door and window project.( 3 *** sliding patio doors and small window for our second bedroom) started out in May with a presentation by one of there salesman.(***). Solid presentation and was impressed by the quality of there product plus lifetime warranty. Basically turned into a nightmare after that initial visit and we agreed to terms on costs down payment etc. Project supervisor (***) came out to measure our job etc and said that our new window coverings (in all 3 rooms) would not need to be moved. Upon delivery of new doors ( approx 4-5 months later) we had our neighbor let the crew in to begin the job ( I was at work and wife was out of town). We had left instructions with supervisor *** to assure doors were closed after entering and exiting front door to assure our cats were not able to get out. Approx 2-3 hours after they arrived I got a call from our HOA as neighbors were complaining about crew playing there music loud etc. I called *** and he stated he was not at job but would follow up... still at work and had asked not to be called unless it was an emergency *** called and informed me that whoever installed our blinds installed them incorrectly? Mind you the blinds were already in place prior to there measure which he said the blinds were fine and would not need to be moved...The new patio doors have a handle which sticks out approx 6-8 inches where as our previous patio doors had a recessed handle.. This handle sticking out now caused our window coverings to hit handle everytime we opened and closed our blinds. Then I got involved with *** T (mgr) in charge of our job.. she came out and agreed that it was there fault and would make it right after work was completed (monetarily) and she would get back with me?.. at initial install They could not install screen door to patio door as track was bent and had to re-order (another 4 week delay. Both patio door panels damaged (had to re-order 3mo.
Homeowners in the South Express Concerns Over Poor Workmanship and Service
To whom it may concern, As homeowners in the southern region, we would like to draw the public's attention to the poor quality of work and inadequate customer service offered by a home improvement company based in our area. We signed a contract with Dreamstyle to install four large Pella Imperva Windows as replacements. An installation date was set for three months later. We were aware that the process would damage the surrounding stucco and had repair arrangements in place. Post-installation, our local contractor criticized the flashing and stucco work as subpar, with a high risk of future leaks. Consequently, we withheld the final payment. The company's management acknowledged the issues and offered a 10% discount, a limited one-year warranty, and a commitment to redo the work. We settled the account after these agreements. However, upon further review, the contractor could not guarantee the work, citing unfinished tasks and poor repair quality. Communication with the company ceased following our final payment. The project spanned over six months, with Dreamstyle relying on a mobile two-person crew and local freelance contractors, leading to rushed jobs and lack of quality control. Despite their large advertisements and positive online reviews, our experience reflects a different reality. Sincerely, P H
I want to thank Maximillian & *** who were the backbone of ensuring my bathroom remodel was competed with my utmost satisfaction in mind
I want to thank Maximillian & *** who were the backbone of ensuring my bathroom remodel was competed with my utmost satisfaction in mind. They arrived every day early, worked diligently and with purpose-driven determination produced some beautiful workmanship and craftsmanship. Maximillian is an expert at troubleshooting any concern to complete resolution. Both gentleman are kind, considerate and always kept me informed at every step, provided best practices techniques to every evolution: installing the new shower, sliding shower doors, the position of how the shelves were placed to allow the water to roll off the shower shelves, while the shower products stayed in place, to ensuring the baseboards were replaced with such attention to detail. It was a pleasure to have them as my Bathroom Also, *** Q is an expert in his field of bathroom remodeling. With the departure our first Teamlead - *** came in, completed a thorough walkthrough to assess what was needed. I have to mention the job started right before the Shelter-In-Place in March , so it took some time before things could regain a semblance of normalcy. *** S was with us from the beginning, and remained involved, concerned and dedicated to providing the very best possible bathroom remodel job we could have *** also gets a mention because he is the shower door install guru for Dreamsyle and he took did really great work, and *** and *** made fast, beautiful work of sealing our beautiful new tub. Though this team faced some challenges, ie; walls not being perfectly straight, or even having to re-caulk some areas, this team of professional made it seem to me and my family it was their duty to ensure our complete satisfaction. Along with installing the new tub, shower doors and turning a tub/shower to a shower-only, they also allowed us to contract them to install our 3-new bathroom vanities; 2-singles and 1-double along with the faucets (4) and the 3-new one-piece toilets and it all turned out so beautifully. Dreamstyle has our utmost confidence, and appreciation for a job expertly, safely (wearing masks), well done!
I recently bought a house and there was an old tub and tile shower that was flaking and peeling and in horrible condition
I recently bought a house and there was an old tub and tile shower that was flaking and peeling and in horrible condition. I received estimates from several different places. DreamStyle was not the cheapest, but their representatives were extremely nice, professional, and they worked very patiently with me on accessories and designs to get a price within my range that still looked great. The materials and samples they showed were high-quality. Combined with their reputation, customer service, and lifetime warranty, I went with them for a Jacuzzi-wall and custom floor walk-in shower. They gave me a great deal on financing (zero interest for a full year) and sent someone to take measurements within a few weeks. They custom ordered the parts, then scheduled a few days where they could come in and work full-time. The workers were professional, efficient, and very personable. They wore face masks, used protective blankets on my floors, taped over areas to protect my house, then (over 2 days) they removed the old tub and shower walls, checked and replaced plumbing (they like to be sure because they warranty it), put in new drywall, and then cut and installed my custom shower floors and walls and doors. They checked with me multiple times during the process to make sure I was happy with everything, and then they cleaned up and left me with clear instructions for maintenance. I reached out to their service department for a minor request (some of the caulking was messed up by the blue tape) and they showed up the next day and happily fixed it for me. I loved their service and professionalism so much that I had them do my other bathroom the following year and they did yet another tremendous job. I'm very, very happy with both bathrooms now and I think the value is spot-on; I fully expect that the future owners and occupants of this house will enjoy DreamStyle's excellent work for many years to come!I'd like thank some of the DreamStyle employees who have helped me, including *** H, *** S, *** F, *** H, *** B, and Mahssa S; thank you very, very much for all of your very gracious and professional work to make my showers look as beautiful as they do!
5 stars to Dreamstyle remodeling and the dream team they sent out to complete our shower remodel!
5 stars to Dreamstyle remodeling and the dream team they sent out to complete our shower remodel! After getting multiple quotes from banal local contractors and even the *** center in comes ***, sales associate for Dreamstyle. He was professional and erudite. He offered a lifetime warranty with a price that came in under the *** design center! He was accessible and flexible and made us feel like family. He really sold us and actually stayed involved in the process all the way to the end. The next step was a meeting the architect and project manager Mahsa. She was great! Her congeniality and precision really affirmed that we had made the right choice with this company. I appreciated her expert balance of creativity and realistic pragmatism. Once the measurements were confirmed the custom sized materials were ordered. Thats when the company sent their MVP, the adroit demo/install team lead *** and his dynamic group including *** and ***. They kept everything clean, were great communicators and were efficient perfectionists. Those guys clearly take pride in their craft and it reflected on the final product!Every project has expected setbacks, in our case one of the manufactures sent us an incorrectly oriented shower pan. *** and Mahsa were able to secure us an upgraded pan the very next day that fit our project. There was no up charge and no significant loss of time, pretty resilient and aplomb bunch and it cemented my opinion of the company. When the project ended the custom glass door measurement was secured and we are excited for that to come in soon. The shower itself looks, well, like a dream. What a difference from the moldy 17-year-old builder grade unit we had. The finished product has the clean and stylish look we were looking for and its now our favorite room in the house! The only down side is the kids refuse to shower anywhere else... We are grateful to *** and his hardworking team for increasing the value of our home and giving us the peace of mind that the project was done right the first time. You dont want to cut corners with plumbing etc and did I mention the security of a lifetime warranty? We love our new shower and if you are looking to upgrade do yourself a favor and contact Dreamstyle Remodeling!
We had our bathroom remodeled in September
We had our bathroom remodeled in September . I meant to write this review after about 6 months of using our new bathroom but I was too busy enjoying it I guess. lol We had a great experience thanks to the Installation Manager *** and our AMAZING Installer ***.Our bathroom needed to be gutted and need everything done, however, we had a budget and *** was really helpful in working with us to cut some costs down so I ended up finding our vanity separately online for them to install, hired my own electrician to install the new lights, and painted the bathroom myself. I just really appreciated the flexibility to work within our budget so we could get the remodel we desperately needed for our bathroom. The bathroom was just packed full of things (at least 20 years old) like a soaking tub and a large walk-in shower with a bench but there was barely any room to move around. This bathroom is the only one upstairs and is essentially our mater bathroom so having 2 people in there at the same time to get ready for work was a nightmare. Plus the bathroom tile was in bad condition no matter what we did (even hired professionals to clean it but mold just kept on coming back).*** worked on it solo for 6 days or so, working late to get it all done asap. He was amazing, did a great job, and was always communicating so we knew what was going on and he checked on how we were feeling about the progress. Honestly, the best experience with any type of work we've had done to any house. We are very please with our bathroom, it feels HUGE now. We had a couple of minor things after about a week of using it and *** was quick to respond to take care of any of our concerns. We have not needed anything since then but it's really reassuring that we have that great warranty just in case we do need something in the future. Cleaning the tub/shower is easy as can be and I love that all I need is "Simply Green" for the maintenance. We've priced out contractors before for a large front yard/backyard project and we went with the lowest priced company (they had great reviews on Complaintsboard.com but not long after all the bad reviews poured in) however that ended up being the worst decision EVER. Took a year and we didn't get all the work done we paid for so we've learned the hard way that it might cost a bit more to use a company like DreamStyle but the peace of mind and the experience makes it priceless! Can't wait till DreamStyle does kitchens in my area!
Go somewhere else - anywhere else - if you're replacing your windows
Go somewhere else - anywhere else - if you're replacing your windows. Dreamstyle is absolutely the worst company I've ever had the displeasure to deal with. I hired them to replace 4 windows, installed in Oct, '19. Their service could best be summarized as deceitful, incompetent and careless. Windows that were supposed to match, don't. The double-hung window that was supposed to have ventilation locks, doesn't. The installer broke one of my window shades (I'd had to sign a waiver before installation, so they wouldn't be responsible for their careless disregard) and also broke the interior wooden trim of another window. Since the trim was painted white, he molded a big glob of caulk to simulate a real repair. But that's not the worst of it. Only 1 of my 4 new windows has an Energy Star rating for ***. The other 3 are rated for the Gulf Coast and Hawaii. Really. After phone and in-person meetings with managers were unproductive, I filed a complaint with my credit card company to protest the final payment. They credited my account temporarily, then sent me a letter in Jan '20, saying that they had resolved my dispute and the credit would be permanent. I felt much better then, at least having gotten a discounted price. "Dreamstyle" said they would replace the 3 non-compliant windows with -rated windows for the same price, but there were many problems with the contract. I sent back a reply with corrections and suggestions, with a request for further discussion. A full year had gone by, with no response at all. I presumed they'd decided to let it go. Then, a few weeks ago, I got a letter and email demanding payment in full and threatening legal action. I said that the credit card company had settled it. They said that just means I don't have to pay *** I still owed them the full amount. I paid them - it'll be worth it to not have to deal with them ever again. And if I can dissuade even one person from hiring them, I'll be satisfied. The more, the merrier. Remember, and share with your friends, the dirty little secret that they won't tell you:Pella windows may be great for most of the country, but they are not good at higher altitudes.(My one good window was a special case - just slightly too large to be built with their standard construction methods - thus the different appearance and better rating.) The only way to get a *** rating in their standard windows is to use a special glass that is not only expensive, but very dark and ugly. If they were open and honest with people, they would never sell another window here. "Dreamstyle" is a misnomer. "Waking Nightmare" would be a far more accurate descriptor.
By far the worst business i have ever dealt with
By far the worst business i have ever dealt with. March 11th we had the salesman out to go over shower options, as we were thinking about remodeling the master bathroom's shower. Our salesman Al, was professional and seemed knowledgeable about the products he was selling. We would later find out that his measurements for the shower area were not accurate when the materials came in. The worst part of that was the next guy to come to the house to verify the measurements, measured wrong as well. The floor pan to the shower ended up measuring 5 inches too wide. That was not discovered until the demo work had started and the contractor tried to lay the floor pan. all work stopped there. He said he had to order a new one. There was no phone call later to verify that the floor pan had been ordered or when it was scheduled to arrive. I spent the following week making phone calls and leaving voice mails with multiple people multiple times a day for that week trying to reach someone to get info. When i did finally reach someone it was Terry, in the ordering section, who told me that it did appear to be ordered and that she told me that when she returned every single one of my voice mails. I caught her in a lie because i told her she never once returned my call. She went on to say that they had "phone issues" and did not know how old the messages were. The floor pan issue finally got resolved and was another 3-4 week wait for that to come in, all the while going without a shower for over a month. What started out with being a 2 day project has now gone into a month and a half project. It still goes on as they failed to tell us that our shower door will not be ordered until the shower is complete. Had we known that detail we would have chosen a different door. Well the shower did get "finished" however, they installed the incorrect fixtures. Troy came to the house to verify and said that their paperwork stated chrome finish. ours " the original signed copy said brushed nickel. so again waiting for thing to be re-ordered. So today 26 June the door finally came in. Big surprise was ordered incorrectly and had to be re-ordered. Nobody seems to communicate at this company as i have also been in contact with the bathroom section manager Troy who at the time had no clue that this was going on and claimed that he will handle it personally. I have asked Troy repeatedly how will i be compensated for all this happening and fighting to get this done for 2 months and all he keeps saying is he has to get with the higher ups once the job is finally complete. I have never dealt with a more infuriating business in my life. Garbage customer service, no communication, and over all terrible experience. I have told all my co-workers, friends, and family to never do business with this company.
Despite the delay in the arrival of my glass doors, and the fact that I had to look at my walk-in shower for 3 weeks before I could use it, I
Despite the delay in the arrival of my glass doors, and the fact that I had to look at my walk-in shower for 3 weeks before I could use it, I couldnt be more pleased with the outcome in both of my bathrooms.I started out with two, yellowed marble surrounds, and two, 12-inch mini tubs that didnt hold enough water to cover my body.I have ended with a beautifully pristine white walk-in shower and a soaker tub to beat all tubs!(I regret the lighting in the bathrooms didnt allow you to see how WHITE they really are)We began with the master. *** and *** did an incredible job! They worked quickly and efficiently. *** ran to *** twice to get some items that would improve the quality of construction, as well as provide the finishing touch on the project; very detail-cognizant.Both *** and *** respected my home and my time. *** was thorough in giving me the maintenance and care instructions, and when the guys finished with the work, they cleaned up the bathroom as well as the garage!Next, *** and *** worked with me on the guest bathroom. Moving from a 12-inch mini tub and told I only had one choice for a 17-inch tub, all I was expecting was a larger version of what I had. But when I saw *** and *** lifting off one of the prettiest tubs Ive ever seen from their truck, I began jumping up and down with excitement and asked if I could sit in it. (silly me). This beauty even has arm rests! GEEZ! NOTE: I hadnt asked for a soaker tub specifically, but *** really listened to me at the sale meeting time, when I said I loved bubble baths. He also showed me bubble glass for the first time, and I am happy every time I look at the glass shower doorsno one else I talked to had this glass.*** and *** had the demo done in no time, skipped my offer for lunch, and finished in 7 hours! I was again given cleaning instructions for care and maintenance. They were detail-oriented, did very quality work, and cleaned up like a dream! After a snafu with scheduling, *** came a few days later. He installed some rubber stripping in the master shower that was missed when the glass doors were installed. He hung the grab bar and switched out the waste and overflow cap in the guest bath. He also measured, cut, and installed PVC quarter round at the base of the tub. He called me upstairs and shared his expertise, in that he felt clear caulk at the tub/floor seam would look nicer than the white. I agreed, and I couldnt be happier with the resultit looks incredible! He also cleaned up very nicely. My only regret is that I didnt ask him to hang the shower curtain; it makes me nervous that I wont hang it at the right tension so as not to bow the acrylic, if thats even a thing. I will call.I am so very pleased with the work that Dreamstyle did for me. I find myself going upstairs all the time, just to look at the bathrooms.Dreamstyle: Treat these guys right; you dont want to lose them!
We contracted with DreamStyle to install a new shower in our master bathroom
We contracted with DreamStyle to install a new shower in our master bathroom. Contract was in late June and we understood that the materials would take some time to come in. So we got an email late August that said the materials were all in, but we were travelling to see my family in Africa in Sept and Oct, and DreamStyle was aware of this from the outset, so we set up installation for November 1. The install crew arrived November 1 and they were great-I have nothing but good things to say about them so what is in this review does not reflect on them but on the company, in fact the two stars are five stars for them and 0 for the company. First indication of trouble was when *** inspected the bathroom and told me that they had been sent the wrong files with the wrong pictures as this was not the bathroom they were expecting and had they had the correct information this job would have been a one day job. No matter as we had planned for two days. Day 1 all went smoothly and they were gone by 1pm. Day 2 they arrived with the materials and got to work. Now I like to be in my home when people work here and so I look in on things once in a while. Pan was installed, walls went up, all looking good-then the issues started. The install team tells me that they do not have the three shelves that we ordered as they were not with the materials they picked up from the warehouse and the warehouse does not have them in stock! I then saw the shower they were installing-was supposed to be a Kohler Rainhead-was not what we ordered and on inspecting the box outside and cross checking with the order form I had received from DreamStyle the item numbers did not even match. Now mind you they have already drilled the holes etc., for the shower they have been given by DreamStyle to install. So back to the drawing board-phone calls and me showing them the order form with the item numbers on it. Another shower (the correct one) gets delivered from the warehouse. Remember we have been told in late August that everything is ready to go! Next I come in as they are installing the doors and the cross bar at the top is so low that I have to duck to go into the shower-I am only 6ft. This was not what I ordered and not the correct height. So more phone calls and I am told by the manager that the style of door we asked for and ordered does not come in the height we ordered so they thought ordering one 4 inches shorter would be fine. They never cleared this with us-no messages or communications. So in the meantime, so I can have an operational shower, they finish the install as they now have to order new materials. I look at the doors and they are not what we ordered and I have just been told that the doors we ordered in the configuration we ordered do not come in the height we ordered so they ordered a shorter door-remember that. Well these shorter doors are not in the configuration that we ordered so I go outside and check the part number on the box they came in and they don't match the part number that is on my order form from the company. Hmm this is not turning out well. So more phone conversations with the manager for the project and he says that they will have to order new doors, new rails and new side panels since the ones installed have holes in them. This means they will need to spend another day or two ripping apart my shower and installing the correct ones and then I will be without my shower for another 36 hours once they are finished. This also doesn't include the fact that the install crew has already had to come back because the shower was not draining and still does not do so properly (makes me wish for my 30 year old shower back). So anyway I refuse to sign off for the project and I tell ***, the manager for the project, that there will need to be compensation for this abysmal failure to stage items and install what I ordered. He tells me that the materials will take four weeks to come in. So here we sit on November 30 with no date for completion of the project and no communications about compensation from *** mysterious manager. It has been one whole month since the project was begun and 3 months since we received a phone call to say that all of the required materials for our project had been received by the warehouse. I cannot tell you what to do as you look for a company to do your bathroom remodel, but if you have got this far in the review I would caution you. Had I not been attentive to the install I would have received little of what I ordered and paid thousands of dollars for. December 2 update, I asked for the manager to contact me and *** emails me to tell me that his manager emailed me before Thanksgiving. He suggests I check my spam filter. I go through every message I have including the 800 in the Spam Filter, 600 in the Promotions filter and *** messages in my Trash can all going back to the beginning of November and there are no messages from the manager. I email *** back with this news and nicely ask if the manager can resend the email that he sent me before Thanksgiving. To date I have received nothing.

Kohler hand held shower.
I was promised a Kohler 2.5 gpm handheld shower with several settings. I got a very small Kohler 1.75 gpm handheld shower with no settings. I was sent a Moen 1.75 gpm. My other complaint is that the salesman told me if I didn't sign up that day that it would be $2000.00 the next day. That kind of presser didn't set well with me.
My name is Richard Padgett

Shower installation
On 09/03/2022 had signed and dated a contract with dreamstyle remodeling to remodel our master bathroom. The project manager handled the contract for us. Our problem with the walk in shower is this. The shower doors don't line up right, the left sliding door does not completely close and too hard to close and open, the rubber on the bottom or both glass doors does not keep the water from coming out and those who worked on the walk in shower stole the shower wand. There was too many phone calls to dreamstyle with no return call. Also, dreamstyle would send a person to the home with no show appointments while I missed days without pay. There was one main manager who showed up. Two contactors and as of 04/03/2023 there has been no show from dreamstyle remodeling co. And no fixtures to any of these issues I have spoke of. I am still unable to use this walk-in shower without all the hassle of a false belief that they are america's #1?
Desired outcome: I would Like All Funds Returned and Void My Contract ASAP!!!! I am A Very Dissatisfied Customers!
We agreed with design consultant, Ella G, in November for a shower installation
We agreed with design consultant, Ella G, in November to have our shower installed by Dreamstyle Remodeling. The job was not performed until April 2022. At that time the original shower and tub were removed and the shower was installed. That evening I arrived home from work and the installer (name unknown to me very nice guy though) told me his part was completed and that I needed to inform the finance company that the job was completed. He called the finance company, and at which time I was informed to tell the finance company that the job was completed. I did state that the job was not completed because the glass was not placed and we could not use the shower. The gentleman informed me that his job of installation was completed and that I was to tell the finance company that the job was completed, which I did. Tiles were broken and cut by the installers, Juan project manager, told my wife that the tiles will be repaired/replaced (tiles will be supplied by us the homeowner). My wife spoke with a "manager" over the phone and she sent photos of the unfinished work including the tiles that were supposed to be replaced/fixed. She does not remember his name due to the nature of the conversation and the fact that he was rude stating that "it is not in your contract for us to replace the tiles". He then stated that Juan was no longer with the company so his word does not matter. I received the first bill from the finance company and just spoke with a representative (confirmation number withheld) regarding this situation. She stated the funds were given to Dreamstyle Remodeling April 9, 2022. It is now May 16, 2022 and our shower has not been completed! $21,150.48 is a lot of money! I do not know what to do or who to contact in order to rectify this situation!

We looked in to upgrading our bathrooms, shower areas only, and was given a quote by Dreamstyle remodeling to have it done
We looked in to upgrading our bathrooms, shower areas only, and was given a quote by Dreamstyle remodeling to have it done. We started the order in the middle of February, the sales rep told us that it could take up to 10 weeks for our material to come in and that was fine, it took 14 weeks.. I didn't even complain about the $37k quoted to convert a shower tub combo to a double shower in the master AND upgrade shower tub combo in the guest bathroom. When the time came for the project to be underway, the master double shower stone wall was suppose to cover the entire walls from floor to ceiling and it was cut incorrectly leaving 4 inches of blank space to the ceiling. We paid additional money to find and have wall tile installed to supplement this incorrect cut. The project also remained incomplete because the glass doors had to be measured AFTER the rest of the shower work was finished. So another appointment was made to measure for the glass the next week. Needless to say, it took another 4 weeks for the glass doors to arrive and be installed, BUT the doors were cut incorrectly. We waited another 3 weeks for the new doors that were just installed on July 18, 2022. The advertisement for bath remodels is 2 days. I was out of town for a class scheduled by my employer, but this company used a third party finance company to pay them for the work and bill me. The communication between sales, customer service, and the actual installation crew was awful. No one contacted me about my satisfaction with the job. I want Dream Style to stand behind their advertisement and prorate me back the money everyday this project remained incomplete. It is the least they could do! I'm not one to complain, but when you have $37k on the line as consumer, this was a little too much! I pray no one else is taken advantage of.

Dreamstyle Remodeling failed to acquire a permit to finish work on bathroom remodel project that was begun in August. A Notice of Claim was sent with items needed to be fixed and finished to completed the project. There has been sufficient time for them to reply or withdraw from project. There has been no attempt from them to rectify the situation. They have insisted they did not need a permit even as the county has stated a permit was required.
I signed a contract with Dreamstyle Remodeling in Denver, headquartered in Albuquerque New Mexico on May 14th. Yes one year and three months ago as of today August 30th 2022. I'm now waiting for the third shower install due to faulty material not adhering to the shower wall both times. Quality of the first install on October 29th was marginally acceptable as well. The second install was June 6th 2022. I'm yet to hear from anyone with Dreamstyle in a managerial/decision making position as to how Dreamstyle will rectify this matter. From the beginning the product selection and installation process was misrepresented by the sales person, and additional project services were promised and not performed. I submitted a registered mail request to Dreamstyle for contract termination due to the lack of customer service on September 13th and it was denied September 29th.
On July 24 Mr
On July 24 Mr. Juan M, Dreamstyle sales representative, came to our home to provide a quote on remodeling our two bathrooms and we decided to go forward with the remodeling. Paperwork was signed on his Ipad and financing was procured. We have never received a copy of the paperwork that was signed or of the financing details in either digital or paper form. We understood financing was through *** at 2.99%. In August we received a letter from *** stating that the entire project wasn't being funded and it raised a red flag. We called Mr. M about this situation he let us know that they were not financing through ***. Instead, it was *** at an interest rate of 6.99%. We informed Mr. M we didn't agree with this rate and wanted the project cancelled. He said he didn't have the authority to cancel the project, but he would talk to Randy J, his superior, about cancelling the project. We waited for 3 days for an answer. On the fourth day we called Mr. M again to find out the status. He was very short on the call but stated that Randy J said the project had been cancelled and that we wouldn't get charged any type of fees for the cancellation. We thought we were done with Dreamstyle. However, the week of September 20 we received a phone call from Les B, asking us to schedule the installation for the project. We explained to Mr. B what had transpired with this project and he said he was going to look into it. Mr. B then sent us a letter stating that if we canceled we would be charged 33% of total project and actual expenses. September 26 Mr. B called and left a voice message stating that it was going to the lawyers and they were going to put a lien on our home. This same day, a representative from *** also called and left a voice message letting us know to schedule installation with Dreamstyle and that the financing couldn't be cancelled by us.

after waiting nearly 6 months to have a shower remodel and a wrap put around the tub they never finished the job. waiting over 30 days to finish the wrap around the tub and no update. multiple calls are not returned. we paid cash for the wrap and it seems they don't care after that.
I purchased a shower for the master bathroom on 1/24/2022 from Dreamstyle remodeling. My sales representative was Chris P . On April 26, 2022 the shower was partially installed. The shower was minus the floor drain cover. I was told by the installer, someone would come out within a couple of days to install the missing drain cover. Still no drain cover installed to this date. I've called Dreamstyle sev eral times regarding this issue, only to be told that they are waiting for delivery of the missing drain cover. We've contacted Chris P on 5/18/2022 with no response and then on 7/12/2022 contacted Chris again and finally got a response saying he was sorry and would have somebody contact us. Duncan contacted me on 7/14/2022 stating he was to received the drain cover by 7/15/2022. Still no drain cover. No contact or updated information on when I'll receive the cover. We have already made 4 payments on this shower. The only thing we receive from Dreamstyle is a payment coupon every month. My wife has only used this shower once as she had foot surgery and fell in the hole. It is way too dangerous for her to use as is, without the cover. We paid for and want a completed shower as promised. How can a company even start a job without having all the components needed to complete the job. We demand a complete shower and hope that you can help get this issue resolved. This is totally unacceptable and very poor business practices.
My husband and I met with Chad D***, the design consultant, on May 21, 2022 for over an hour to discuss a shower remodel in our master bath
My husband and I met with Chad D, the design consultant, on May 21, 2022 for over an hour to discuss a shower remodel in our master bath. We liked the product and proceeded to pick out material and give our authorization to the project, as well as pay the $1000 deposit. On June 2, 2022, Sean B, the project manager, came out to the house and took all the measurements and filled out and signed the Affirmation & Specifications form. We also payed him the agreed upon down payment of $4000. He told me that the project wouldn't be scheduled for about 14 weeks but it would take about 3 days to complete once they begin. I agreed and he left. Sean's visit on June 2nd was the last we heard anything from them. However, knowing that the project wouldn't be done for awhile we didn't follow up right away. On Monday June 20, 2022, I called the main office to just confirm everything was on schedule. To my disappointment and shock, the secretary told me our project had been cancelled and the money wasn't refundable. I demanded to speak to a manager and she transferred me to Dustin R () but it went to his voicemail. I left a message but did not receive a call back. I also called both Chad and Sean and left messages. Both Chad and Sean called me back and apologized but had no information and claimed to not have the authority to do anything about it. They said they would relay my message and follow up. The next day, June 21, 2022, I received a check for the $4000 but no letter of explanation. I called the main manager, Dustin R, and again was sent to his voicemail. I let him know I received the check but would still appreciate a phone call to find out why the project was cancelled and also requested the remaining $1000 deposit. There is no reason they should be allowed to keep the $1000 deposit when we wanted to proceed with the project and it was their decision to cancel. To this date, June 24, 2022, I have not been called.

Approx 1 month ago, a rep from Dreamstyle Remodeling came out to give us an estimate for replacing all of the windows in our 30 year old home. After measuring all windows amd some negotiations, we agreed that all windows would be replaced for a total cost of $31,000.00. The contract was signed the next day by my husband, as I was at work and we paid $10,000.00 cash at yhat time. About 2+weeks ago, another rep came out to get the exact measurements to place the order. At the conclusion of that visit, the rep told my husband that it appeared as though they had forgotten the large master bedroom window. Since the initial rep measured that specific window, my husband thought they simply made a typo and nothing more was said. Today I rec'd a call advising that the window, for whatever reason, was not included in the contract. Yes it was or should have been, I explained...the initial rep even measured that particular window. Today's rep said that they cannot verify this, as the rep is no longer with the company. I was told I have 2 choices...either pay additional money for the MBR window, or proceed with all the other windows and leave the MBR window as is. I requested the contract be canceled, and was told it cannot be canceled as they have already started to make the other windows.
This company had called numerous times, and sent advertising texts to my cellphone, which is on the federal do not call list. I contacted them to resolve the matter. I was told that somebody entered my information into their database, and that my number would be removed, and I would receive no more contact. However, almost immediately, I received more calls and texts. I have again attempted to resolve the matter, as federal and state telemarketing regulations were violated. However, even after speaking to the company's legal team, and offering a reasonable resolution and compensation, I have been ignored. I am offering Dreamstyle one last opportunity to resolve this matter. If it is not resolved in a reason able amount of time, I will forward this matter to an attorney that specializes in TCPA law. I hope we can resolve this before legal action takes place.
On 3-12-22 I signed a bathroom remodeling contract with Dreamstyle remodeling. In which case they came out on 5-4-22 for Demo and rebuild in which case the tech notified me that they had to modify the rebuild, that I would lose 4 inches of original shower space. After the rebuild, glass techs came out for measurements for a specific model that I had chosen. Only to be told that they couldn't because of how it was rebuilt. The techshowed me a different model which was agreed upon both myself and tech. He took measurements. I was called weeks later for install, at which point I was notified on same day of install 6-1-22 that someone made a mistake on the glass. The tech assured me that he would order the correct size that same day. On 6-21-22 they were to install glass however I was called and told that there had been another mistake. I then reached out to project manager, and General manager, no response. I then reached out to the sales person. There after I was told that the glass tech would be out to install glass for the shower. The tech came out only to tell me that there was another mistake on the glass. Here we are 7-26-22 and I still don't have my glass for the shower. PLEASE HELP! I need my shower!
Merchandise: F-1325x Swim Spa Swim Date / Test-drive: 24 Apr 2022 Purchase Date: 25 Apr 2022 Delivery Date: 29 Jul 2022 Total Amount: $25,595.50
Merchandise: F-1325x Swim Spa Swim Date / Test-drive: 24 Apr 2022 Purchase Date: 25 Apr 2022 Delivery Date: 29 Jul 2022 Total Amount: $25,595.50 Dreamstyle Remodeling (Sales Rep Jonathan J) committed to providing a Swimspa with adjustable Hydrotherapy jets which adjust from the spa seats, to bench seating within the tub. Additionally, we were promised both verbally, and in writing via the F-1325x Swim Spa data sheet, that the two river jets (which a swimmer swims against) would "Allow you to swim at beginner levels and gradually up to advanced levels. You can adjust the river jets, which will enable you to customize your workouts". However upon delivery and installation of the Swim Spa, it was determined that the River Spa jets do not adjust to different speed levels as demonstrated on 24 Apr 2022 when both my wife and I tried the demonstration model on the showroom floor. Although the showroom model is different in size as compared to the one purchased, we were assured that the only difference would be in size of the tub, as well as 2 river jets instead of three, leading us to believe the river jet speed could be adjusted. Additionally, the delivered F-1325x Swim Spa hydrotherapy jets do not allow for diversion between the spa seats to the bench seats, rather, the diverter only diverts pressure from the left spa seat and bench seat, to the right spa and bench seats. Although the River Jets can be angled to different levels, this is not the same adjustment which was demonstrated to us on the showroom floor. Upon realization that our delivered swim spa was different than what was sold, my wife and I met with our original sales rep (Jonathan) in-person on 1 Sept 2022 to describe the nature of our problem and seek a repair-in-place or exchange solution. We were directed to consult with his management (Mr. Tom C) as there was nothing Jonathan could do. Jonathan also went on to proclaim that we are not the only customers which have come back unsatisfied.

I hired Dreamstyle for a bathroom remodel -- floors, vanity, lighting, wall repair, baseboards, bathtub and shower wall replacements -- in late January. Everything was above bar with the salesman and getting the bathroom measured. I had to finance the project. Covid hit when the ordered parts came in and it was time to install but I had to postpone it due to the virus. A month later the project manager used a scare tactic on me about the financed funds coming out soon. I couldn't get a hold of the finance department until I sent a complaint through customer service. The finance department manager was very helpful and even got me an extension on the loan terms. My hours at work were cut in half, if not more so, so the project wasn't in my budget anymore. With the extension I felt I could afford it and I scheduled the install for June 18th and 19th. On the first day the contractor immediately said that he would need three days for the project - hadn't even seen the bathroom. He had a doctor's appointment that afternoon and he only did the demo work. He left at 12 that day, then he asked if he could come earlier the next day between 7:30 and 8am and did not show up until 9:10. All of that aside, the contractor did wonderful work. But he didn't install the right baseboards - I had ordered colonial - and there was a mix-up with the bathtub drain finish. The contractor also failed to repair the wall behind the toilet - it just needs spackle spray. Following after-install instructions, I didn't use the bathroom for a week. When I did, I discovered that the shower head leaks when the bathtub water is running. This was June 27th. The project manager had called me earlier in the week about the bathtub drain and that he was putting the order in. I called to report the shower head issue as well as the baseboards and the untouched wall behind the toilet. He said he would call when the order came in. I called to check on the order on July 14th and manager told me the order should be in by the end of the week. He didn't call on that Friday, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of the next week. So I called him again on Thursday - no answer and I left a voicemail. More weeks go by and I made more calls and nothing. I am a very patient person but I think I've been more than that and I want this issue fixed. I already put a complaint through with my lender and an investigation has been opened. I don't think I can put this clearly enough - finish the job, please.

I ordered two doors from John December 3rd and paid half the deposit
I ordered two doors from John December 3rd and paid half the deposit. The installer came over to measure and left. The first week of March 2022 I called the company in Prescott Valley, Az to check on the status of my doors. John transferred me to a voicemail and I left a detailed message. No one called me back so I went to the business to find out whats going on. The woman I talked to didn't know and took my # and said she would call me back. Once again I never heard back from anyone so I made a second trip to the design center. The woman still didn't know was going on so she brought out the guy that came over to measure. He told me he would of had to redo all the stucko and couldn't do the doors. I was stunned. I asked why I'm finding out about this three months later? I told him I want our money back and he told me to call his boss in Phoenix. I told him its not my job and it was his responsibility to call his boss. So he called him and told me I'd get a refund within two weeks. It's been two weeks and I don't have our money back and not one employee called to ask if everything was ok. These people took almost $8,000 from us and never said a word. They never refunded a job they KNEW they weren't going to do and they NEVER said a word about this to us. Its been over 3 months and no commication at all.
December 2nd, John came over and we ordered two exterior doors. We paid half the deposit, nearly $8,000. A day or so later the installer came over to measure both areas and that was the last we heard from them. By the first of March 2022 I called them to check on the status. John answered the phone and transferred me to a voicemail. I left a,detailed message and asked them to call me back. Two days later still no response so I went to the design center and was told by the woman that worked there that she didn't know what was going on and took my # and said she would call me back. Again, no one called me so I went back go the business a second time. The employee was a bit frazzled and went to the back of the building and the man that came over to measure said he wasn't able to install the doors because he would of had to redo a big section of stucko and it wouldn't match. I asked him WHY am I hearing about this three months later? He said his boss in Phoenix was supposed to lete know. I didn't hear from anyone and if it was cancled because the installer didn't want to do it why didn't they return our money? I told him I want our deposit back and he told me to call his boss. I said I'm not calling him, he's your boss so you should call him. So he made a phone call and said we would have a check sent to us in two weeks. It's been over two weeks and still no refund. This company has no customer service, they don't return calls, they act like they don't know whats going on and after two weeks I haven't heard anything from any of them asking if the problem was resolved. I warm anyone that consideres doing business with these people to be cautious. They had a lot of good reviews which is why I chose them but reviews can't be depenable. I want a full refund for service THEY cancled without telling us. I also noticed he put something about the number of windows in our house. We never disscused windows, only the two doors.

Shortly after a plumbing issue that resulted in a leak behind my shower wall, I determined that this would be the best time to remodel my shower. So, soon after I signed my sales agreement with "Dreamstyles remodeling" on 12/13, they informed me that the process would begin in a few weeks from this point. Nearly three months later, on 3/1, the installers arrived and worked late into the evening. They mentioned the multiple deadlines they were behind on and informed me that there were numerous problems within the company. The following day they returned to complete the job. A week later, on 3/8, the initial sales person's measurements were re-taken for the shower door since they had incorrectly measured during the initial consultation. Finally, two and a half weeks later, on 3/25, the installers arrived and installed the shower door. This marked the end of the installation and the beginning of the problems. My family and I noticed that the locker shelves would fall out and worried it would injure our dogs or us, so I requested someone to be sent out to evaluate the cause. On 6/28, a worker arrived and determined that the initial installation was done incorrectly. So, nearly two months later, on 9/27, installers arrived and replaced the shower locker. However, this installation was incorrectly done as well. So, yet again, a worker was sent out and shaved off the shelves' sides so they would be flush against the locker to prevent the shelves from falling out. The original sales agreement stated that the drywall behind the shower would be patched and painted after the completion of the project. However, the installers had done the job so poorly that I had to redo the drywall and paint over it myself. Today, 7/16/2022, the door does not close properly, leading to leaking on the floor. In addition, the locker shelves still do not sit correctly and protrude from the wall. The initial installers left scratches and marks on the ceiling above the shower locker and the other shower walls. Finally, around 2020 I felt the shower floor was bowing in; the attached video shows this. For $7,620, I should feel secure in my investment and love my shower. However, I am left regretting my investment and an incomplete bathroom. This company should have better management and monitoring to ensure no other people invest in a poor-quality job. If possible, I would like the shower properly fixed or a refund for the amount I paid. The reason for the delayed contact with the Complaintsboard.com is due to my multiple attempts to allow the company to correct their mistakes.
Thank you for taking the time to hear my experience with "Dreamstyles remodeling."

We purchased a ProVia front door unit from Dreamstyle Remodeling in July
We purchased a ProVia front door unit from Dreamstyle Remodeling in July . It was installed in October . There were multiple installation issues. Dreamstyle agreed to have their service tech technician install the brick mold correctly.
After the brick mold was installed, I received a letter from Adam S demanding payment for the incorrect amount. The original door ordered was changed to a different style door, because ProVia could not match the color requested. We are responsible for painting the installed door unit.
A couple of months ago I called Dreamstyle for issues with the door hinges. An appointment was scheduled. The hinges were adjusted, and the door realigned. It now closes properly.
We are now in process of scheduling painting of the unit. Two painters looked at the door unit. It was installed with cloth stickers placed over the installation screw holes on the jamb and frame. The door has a south exposure and gets direct sunlight. The stickers are falling off. The frame and jamb material is covered with plastic, and the primer required takes four hours to dry. Even if the stickers were not falling off, they were not meant to be painted. ProVia customer service told me the stickers were never intended to be exposed to the atmosphere or sunlight. Their only use is for a frame and jamb covered with aluminum, which we did not order. Needless to say, both painters will not paint over the stickers.
Upon learning the situation with the stickers, I called Dreamstyle and asked for plugs to be installed, as requested by the painters. Jennifer stated the holes required plugs and told me she would order them. Service would be scheduled upon receipt of the plugs. I then received a call from John B. He was very abrupt and rude. Basically, how dare you request service when you have agreed Dreamstyle would not provide service for the door. In fact, he stated we are too far away for service to travel. Dreamstyle sends constant mailings to our entire subdivision for bathroom remodels.
After B's call, I reached out to the service scheduler. The call center forwarded me to Paul W, who said he was VP of Sales at the Corporate office. I explained to him the situation. He was pleasant and said all service will be honored. He even provided contact numbers should I need his assistance. I immediately received a call to schedule service. Plus I was told, "Our employee, John B, was mistaken to inform you Dreamstyle would not provide warranty work for the unit." A service coordinator scheduled an appointment for August 11 without an arrival time. She told me I would receive a call with a time frame for the tech's arrival. There was never a callback. I left constant messages with service coordinators, without a single reply. Finally, I found someone who picked up the phone. It was no surprise to learn there was never an appointment scheduled. This individual set another appointment for August 18 with a time frame of 1-3 pm. The service tech was a no show on both occasions. Again, I learned there was no appointment for August 18.
Dreamstyle utilizes call centers. I have probably spoken to service coordinators all over the country. Additionally, I left dozens of message without any callbacks. Who knows where the calls are directed. I will guarantee you, if I wanted to schedule an appointment for windows, doors or a bathroom remodel, the appointment would be honored.

Dreamstyle promised quality work, full clean up and that the project would be completed in a timely manner
Dreamstyle promised quality work, full clean up and that the project would be completed in a timely manner. Our contract was signed in August for stucco and windows. It is now March and the project is still not done. In approximately October our windows were installed. When the windows were stained we were told the color we had selected did not exist and the worker wished the company would stop promising things they cannot deliver on. We had to call to remind Dreamstyle they were also doing the stucco, as they forgot despite the contract. During the stucco installation our garage light sensor and an outlet were covered and stuccoed, which had to then be removed. There were nails all around our house, with presumably no attempt to pick them up due to the high amount. I went and picked them up myself. When the grey coat was done on the house, a pile of the material was left in my yard. When I mentioned that I wanted it removed I was told it was an early Christmas present for my dogs. My dogs then got into the pile and it took about two months to get cleaned up after being rescheduled three times. Additionally, prior to the color coat being done, we noticed there were nails in the tracks of our brand new custom windows making them inoperable. Two of the windows had to be completely replaced, which further delayed the project by four months. Two of the windows also had problems with the balancers, which required a special tool to be fixed. When the worker arrived he stated he was having problems fixing the window because the company had not offered proper training. Additionally we noticed more nails in the windows, both in the tracks and exterior. During one of the installations a piece of my fence was broken and the piece was hidden. This still has not been repaired. When the stucco was done multiple exterior outlets had stucco on them and had to be replaced. A drain was covered, I requested it be uncovered and it was again covered in stucco. This still has not been resolved. In multiple spots paint on the eaves was peeled off with no remedy suggested by Dreamstyle. In the last session of the color coat I noticed the workers urinating in my yard, in front of my kitchen window while my husband and I ate breakfast. We also found a roller from the color coat buried in my yard, that had the material from the color coat everywhere. Additionally in the contract the area bottom of my house was to be trenched and color coated. The color coat is spotty and the original color can still be seen. I have a dirt yard that is not landscaped and thank goodness because with how Dreamstyle has treated my property I would hate to have anything nice out there. I was assured all of the workers would have background checks and be professional but when the stucco teams arrived there was a different company name on the side of the truck. There has been a complete lack of communication throughout this entire project and I have often had to remind Dreamstyle of the jobs they were doing. When I brought up the issues with a manager, he said that as soon as the nitpicky items were completed we would talk about a discount. I hardly think that proper cleanup and expecting workers not to urinate on your property is nitpicky. This project has been ongoing for seven months. I was also told Dreamstyle does about 400 jobs a month and about 5% end like this, as if that excuses the manner that my project has gone. I was offered a thousand dollars off with $500 for the inconvenience. I hardly think that compensates all of the total issues there have been, especially considering other companies bid this project at $27,000 (windows and stucco) and Dreamstyle bid at $47,381 (windows and stucco). We selected Dreamstyle because we were assured the extra money brought quality, professionalism and a smooth project.

I did not want it to get to this point, but I feel like this is strike 3
I did not want it to get to this point, but I feel like this is strike 3. In July I went into contract with Dreamstyle to redo the Stucco on my house, and to install 2 windows. The entire experience has been pretty stressful. Right out the gate, the price was on the higher side, but I was told the entire job would be done with a large crew and only take a few days. I liked the sound of that so I went with them. The salesman was like a Las Vegas timeshare salesman. Lots of smoke and mirrors. At one point during his sales pitch, he brought out a model to show how they do stucco. There were multiple layers, and I even asked him, "Do you put the wire mesh around the whole house?" He replied, "Yes." When it was time for them to come do the stucco, and they weren't doing that part, I asked "what about the presentation?" He said he was just explaining how they do stucco in general, not what they were going to do to our house specifically. It was deceiving. He also said the windows we would get would be so smooth, we could open them with one finger. That is not the case. The windows are not smooth, and the latch feels cheap. When you close the window to lock it, the top part of the window falls down. They tried to come fix it, but they didn't know how. Its just a crappy design. When I asked for a detailed receipt, they would not give me one. They said manufacturing and installation is all a combined price. Now for the stucco. They initially started the stucco a little later than anticipated, and it got cold early last year. They attempted to get it all done anyway. They did the job extremely fast, and you could tell. Any place where it may have taken a little time to make it look good (Around windows, corners, etc) it was very sloppy. Soon after it was completed, large white stains started to come to the forefront. This had been told to me it could happen, but even they were surprised it happened to soon, and to such a degree. They brought over a guy to fog coat the white stains, and it looked OK for about a week. Soon after a rain, the area that had been fog coated had deep dark stains. One area in the front of the house that had been fog coated didn't even match the color of the house. It was a darker, and a bit more red. I sent over photos and they had no idea what was causing it. They "had to research it" and took their time. Eventually they brought someone else out to recolor that area. The new color was even worse. It was a brighter brown than the rest of the house. It had plenty of time to dry and we didn't have rain for weeks. It just rained the other day, and yet again, stains. And it looks crappy. The reason I say strike 3 is this. We have had 3 random contractors come to the house for different reasons, and they have all commented on the stucco without me even saying anything. We had a roofer come out, and he said "I don't know who did your stucco, and I'm not a stucco guy, but I've seen a LOT of roofs, and this doesn't seem right." He was pointing to the parapets, which were extremely sloppy and just kind of laid on. He pointed to the neighbors roof, and said "See, that's how it should look. A clean line where the stucco ends and the roof material begins." Its in the contract that the parapets should have been done. He then told me Dreamstyle doesn't even have their own workers. They contract out to the lowest bidder. I'm not sure if that is true, but it started making me feel like a fool. Then we had a painter come out and he saw the dark stains on the stuco, and he said he had never seen anything like that. Finally, I had another contractor come out, and he saw the stucco and said, "How old is this stucco?" I said, "1 year." He laughed and said, "There is no reason it should look this faded already. They either skipped the primer, or used stucco that didn't need a primer, but the cheapest material around. It looks like crap." Of course all of this has made me feel like a fool.
