I purchased a 2016 jeep patriot in February 2022 for 16,999. I should have known this was bad because I went in to buy with a 625 credit score and got a 16% interest rate and still was paying $490. So the very next day the car is dead (can't get to work) I call drive time and was told to bring the car back, yes even after I tell them it's dead, I get it to them and they place a new battery in my trunk and tell me it only takes 5 minuets to do it myself. So I go to AutoZone for help. I'm told and shown the battery terminals frayed and peeling off the leads. The worker taped them so I could get home. Day three I call silverrock for my warranty, day four the car is in the shop and I'm told terminals need replacements and the is another electrical issue we can't fix. Day four the car is still in the shop trying to figure out the electrical issue. Day five can't return the car anymore you only get five days and I'm over the 30 thousand miles with the car being test driven. Day six I'm I'm on the phone with both drive time and bridgecreste trying to return this lemon I got sold. I've tried to sell and trade in but because I paid 16,++++ for a vehicle that has a 5,000 value the gap between is 10,000 easy, no one will take the SUV. It's below 130*** I purchased At 106*** ,got it started and now the transmission is slipping this SUV has a ctv so repairs will cost upwards$5000 .I was told the only way out of the SUV was a repo. Fast forward a year and a half the car is still in my driveway. No resolution no help and now a repo on my credit because why keep paying for a SUV with electrical and bad transmission. A repo on my credit and no car to get to work. I came to drive time to boost my credit and ended up loosing my car, my money, and my credit score.
Claimed loss: 20,000 for cost of vehicle loss of pay for not being able to get to work and cost of out of pocket repairs and diagnostic.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund, I've lost lots of money and had to switch jobs because I had no car
