Repair service
Drop my dyson V11 vacuum to the repair center Mississauga Ont Canada. Feb 3rd 2023..Was told that payment can nit be done at center and will be called for payment. At that moment I ask of r direction in picking up my machine after repairs and I was told it will be shipped for free as a courtesy .As of Feb 23rd 2023 no call , so I took the initiative to call and make the payment..
Expectation is then ai will receive my dyson vacuum. March 6th 2023 still no communication, so again I reached out to dyson with hope of getting some direction or update.. I was told in order to have my machine ship I will first have to come back to dyson and bring all connection to assure my machine is working efficiently with all my connection..
I had spoken to Dyson on 3 occasion and was never told this until I march 6th 2023..I again have no direction on what will happen or how further the delay is when i do decided to drop off the connection another 90mins drive from my home.. Dyson failure to communicate clear and precise direction is very disturbing, 31 days later I have no idea when ai will receive my dyson .. It was expected with such a reputable company I the service would have been more efficient. At this time I cant imagine ever recommending such a company to anyone..
Desired outcome: To have my DYSON repair and return PROMPTLY and an explanation on such poor service,
Order and delivery of said order
I placed a gift order on 2-14, the gift to be delivered to one state, ordered and paid for by me in another state. I received a confirmation email of the order. Eight days later, I checked the status as my credit card had not been billed and I had not received an email of delivery even tho it was to arrive on 2-21. I conducted a “chat” with customer service who indicated that a glitch had occurred with the payment. The customer service representative canceled that order, placed another that was successful. When I asked to verify the shipping address, he had it wrong, so canceled that order and placed a third. I again asked if the shipment address was correct, he verified. My credit card company showed two identical pending charges for the two orders he had completed. He assured me one would disappear. Within a couple of days, I received emails indicating the shipment information. It appeared the delivery was to be made to my address. I made MANY contacts with Dyson - chats, emails, phone call to customer service. I even called Chicago corporate office - 10 times, calls were never answered. On 2-25, a customer service representative via chat assured me that the shipping address had been corrected. It has not been. I was told to call UPS and change it myself. UPS said Dyson had restricted the ability to do that. Some at Dyson said they could not change it, some said they would. On the UPS site, there is a note that sender changed the delivery on 2-25. On 2-27, I again contacted Dyson. Yet another person told me they would absolutely resolve the issue. I told them to deliver to the correct address or cancel the order (I had been told several days before that the order was canceled). I then received several more emails confirming delivery to my address. On 2-28, I contacted UPS again, was told that Dyson never corrected the delivery address and that I will receive the order the following day. Some at Dyson kept suggesting that I receive the delivery at an alternate address close to my home - ?! Or apparently I can receive it and then send it back to Dyson because they provide free shipping! I guess the other option is to receive it and then pay the post office or shine shipper to deliver it where it was to go all along. And the payment to Dyson is no longer pending. I have spent at least 10 hours trying to resolve this very expensive problem.
Desired outcome: Dyson ships order to correct address and provides some discount on it.
Airwrap
I bought a Dyson airwrap from Boots a year ago and have really tried to persevere with it but although I have watched the official demos and carefully followed the instructions it just does not hold a curl in my hair. I have tried it with and without styling products but to no avail. I am extremely disappointed in this product and feel it does not perform as advertised therefore I would like to return it for a refund
Dyson v6 cordless

I purchased the unit in 2019 and has the same issue to date. Luckily I kept the old barrel unit and because it took so long to fix I end up paying :$286.00 to fix the old unit. 2020 due to covid, I was told that this unit does have a battery issue and the call centre rep sent one out to me. His last 6 weeks and I was back to the same issue. Several months of following up with the call center and I was sent the same instructions and they refused to take this unit in and check but instead sent me self fixing guides.
Late last year I was sent a battery and a motor and I was told that servicing is no longer available for this unit but the warranty reads it will hold parts for 10 years. Those parts last he same timeframe as he first and I had the same problem but I was referred to carrying out the same set of instructions to fix the unit by myself. I am now being asked to pay a further $599 for a new unit as the previous model was retired. I have all the email threads from 2019 store.
Desired outcome: I would like my unit that I purchased to be fixed at a service center or they can give me a later model at heir own cost. The reason or a cordless we had back issues and did not want to cart the older heavy unit around.
Dyson ball
First date I bought it 04/19/2021. Unable to get the wand to fit into the holder. Took it back and Best Buy had trouble getting it to click back in place 8/10 attempts. 07/11/2019 Vacuum did not work. Apparently you must clean all filters every 2 months. Most recent. Wand with the attachments did not have suction 2/9/23. Was told need to clean filters when in fact this was only the second time in 2 weeks since cleaning the filters. Now she tells me you have to clean all filters once a month despite what the instruction manual states. There response. That can have it shipped to the Dyson store with a turn about time of 14 to 21 days. Who can be without a vacuum that long. If you can, you could just use a broom. I would never recommend this machine. Dyson in my opinion use to be the top of all vacuum. Last Dyson lasted 28 years. They have very limited service places and none are close. Poor Rep Behavior
Wednesday Feb 8 2023 approx 4:30pm. I was having my hair dried after a salon service in Ulta in Cupertino Ca. A person came up to my stylist to chat and apparently asked to take a photo of her using the hair dryer. Then the rep said something to me, while the noisy hair dryer is going, like, “I’m not being creepy, I’m so and so”. I asked my stylist after if the person was a store manager and was told that it was a Dyson rep or salesperson. I was never asked permission or given anything to sign giving my permission to be photographed.
Desired outcome: I’d appreciate a response.
Dyson v15 vacuum cleaner
We recently bought a dyson v15 vacuum cleaner, I have not even been using it for 2 months and it has stopped working. Your customer service in south africa is shocking, my husband and phoned and phoned as well as sent numerous emails to now being told that liquid has been sucked up. What absolute rubbish! R14 000 down the drain. I will never support this brand and will never promote it either. Absolute disgrace

I treated myself to a hair dryer when when I got it though it was fabulous recommended it to everyone then I started to have problems with it I have had it repaired and it’s still not up to working standards to today I rang back to be told I should have done my research and it’s not for salon use when I bought the hairdryer it dose not clearly say it not for salon use so now I am left fumming I have had a look today on web page and it only states it the asked questions I feel like I have been sold a hair dryer that is not fit for per pose if I knew at the time off buying it I would have definitely bought the one for salon use now I am left with no hair dryer so if it dose not get sorted out I will not be recommended your products and will be putting complaints on places I can I feel let down £300 you think your getting the best on the market to fine out that I am being told it’s my fault

V11 Absolute+
Hello. I am a long time owner and user of DYSON Vacuum machines. I have 4 of them.
My Dyson V11 Absolute+ dust bin broke this past summer - July/Aug 2022 while under Warrantee. I called into Dyson Canada about this and they were going to send me a replacement bin. As it turns out, Dyson Canada was out of stock on the Bins at that time. I was asked to call into Dyson periodically to check to see if they had inventory on the Bin and that the replacement would be covered on my Warrantee - my Warrantee ended Oct 2022. My last call to DYSON was in Dec 2022 - you were still out of stock of the Bin.

How and when can I get a replacement. I have not been able to use my Vacuum since July/Aug of 2022 - UNACCEPTABLE!
If you continue to not have the replacement Bin in stock, then I would ask for a full replacement if my Dyson V11 Absolute Vacuum machine. It has been) months since I have been able able to use my vacuum.
The lack of attention I have received is truly unacceptable.

Missing accessories of V15 product
I am extremely disappointed with the purchase of my new v15 absolute detect Dyson, which I bought through their website last week. Upon receiving it yesterday, I quickly noticed that two of the accompanying accessories were not included in the package. This was especially surprising to me as the images of the product that are featured on websites show all necessary accessories are included in the box. Additionally, my package was wrapped in a yellow box instead of the traditional white packaging that I saw on the website. I've written to customer service to ask why these accessories were missing from my purchase and they have informed me that some products no longer include those two pieces of equipment. However, other customers who have bought the same product are still receiving them. I would really appreciate if Dyson could make sure to provide me with these missing parts as soon as possible.

International Warranty
Bought a device in India and moved to Canada, the device was supposed to be collected for inspection and I have been following up for 2 weeks and the staff doesnt know what is happening, each time they give you some other information and make you wait on the call for about 1 hour. The post sale service is pathetic and a highly incompetent team with no way to escalate complaints and there is no monitoring of what is happening and no response or resolution via emails either.

Worst customer service in the industry. Main canister cracked after a little over 2 years. Warranty just ran out, they do not have replacement piece and want me to pay $400 for the new upgraded piece. Every dyson product I have ever bought never last longer than a year maybe two... How do I know? I have 4 of their vacuum cleaners. I will never buy another product made by dyson again! Done with this sorry company>
Their service center told us they should replace the blow dryer due to the main component cracking, and the warranty just expiring. They absolutely would not do one thing for us!
Meanwhile our friends have the competition and their warranty runs out 9 months later the company sends them a new blow dryer no questions asked.
Guess this is why dyson has a 1 star rating!

Dyson Hairdryer
Purchased a Dyson hairdryer 3 years ago. About a month ago it stopped working. I called Dyson to find out how to get it fixed. I was told since it was passed the 2 year warranty there is no fixing it or exchanging it. The best they could do is give me 20% off a new one. I ordered a new one and then got thinking this is ridiculous. A $500 hairdryer should last more than 3 years. My original machine from day one always made a buzzing sound from the cord. I thought this was normal but now that I have a new one and it doesn't make yhis sound, I think there was sonething not right from day one. Had I known this I certainly would have returned it right away. I was referred to the mgmt resolution team and was told they will resolve my issue to my satisfaction. The resolution was the same 20% off a new machine. Went BBB and again the response to them was the same. I just can't believe a company like Dyson doesn't stand behind their products. For a person to spend $1,000+ for 2 hairdryers in a 3 year period is absolutely absurd. I've had cheap hairdryers that have lasted more than 10 years.
Desired outcome: My money back for the hairdryer I purchased to replace the first one.

After purchasing a Dyson Vacuum Cleaner V7 Animal Serial Number G7V-UK-PFV1502A in November 2021 with a 2 year guarantee from John Lewis. I am very disappointed with the response from both companies concerning my complaint.
Which is that the normal setting the unit does not pick up successfully, on the maximum setting the unit picks up but the battery runs out after 10 mins. The user manual states that with the same nozzle fitted the run time is 20mins.
John Lewis were not interested using their 35 day return policy. So advised I should contact Dyson direct
This I did and Dyson followed up a fix of supplying a new battery and power head. When these were fitted there was no improvement.
Dyson have now told me there is nothing more they can do. I requested I wanted a full refund and they answered they do not give full refunds. The 2 year guarantee clearly states “The repair or replacement of your Dyson machine (at Dysons Discretion) if it is found to be defective due to faulty materials, workmanship or function within 2 years of purchase”.
Dyson agreed to my request to speak to a manger. Not being available at the time, a manager would contact me to discuss further. To date this has not happened

Failure to honor Warranty
My Dyson V11 Animal broke back in August of 2021. I reached out to Dyson to obtain a replacement main cyclone body as per their warranty. I was told it was out of stock and would be shipped to me once it was in stock again, about two weeks. I have reached out multiple times since then and keep being told the same thing. Meanwhile, I have a $700 paperweight.
Desired outcome: I would like Dyson to honor their warranty and either fix or replace my vacuum.

Tyhis is the worst design I have ever owned to be able to use with the accessories.
The hose used to connect thevaious brushes is so stiff you need two people to do the vacuuming.
One has to hold the vacuum and the other to try and vacuum. It's so stiff, it's almost impossible to have the hose extended. It will not stay extended
It's a constant fight to try and vacuum
Would have never purchased this brand if I knew what I was getting into

As a long time Dyson owner I have a dilemma that has occurred with our GC23 vacuum. As we prepare for holiday guests to arrive we got out our vacuum out on Sunday morning. Unfortunately when my wife started it up the only motor that turned on was the power head motor. Canister motor refused to start up.
When I went to the Dyson web page it says that the DC23 is no longer serviced by Dyson and parts are not available. The vacuum was purchased by your records in 2011. That's only ten years ago. Okay, retiring a product after ten years seems to be a little early but to not carry parts so quickly is extremely irritating.
So when I called this morning to your service department your employee confirmed these facts and said that I would be entitled to a 20% discount but it only applied to one model (lowest rated) on your web site and that is "out of stock" at this moment. None of the other applied and the "animal pro" model wasn't included even though with three cats this would be the model that we would purchase.
In the automotive industry if Ford stops making a model they still carry parts for longer than ten years and then sell off the rights to those parts to the secondary market to service people who purchased those cars.
So here is my problem; can't get parts to service my existing canister vacuum. Need to pay full price on a newer model because Dyson only offers a discount on a unit I wouldn't normally buy, that is not in stock anyways. Euchred again.
Can someone at Dyson look at this problem and call me back with a solution that actually would work?

I have ordered the Dyson vaccum on Friday, 21st October 2021. I still have not received my machine. It is so disappointing to have ordered directly from Dyson. I thought Dyson is an excellent brand and so the service will be but I was so wrong, the service is so bad that I would not even rate it. I have contacted multiple times on [protected] but I have never got a satisfactory answer from anyone. They just make me fool that we will look in to it and someone will come back to you but nobody comes back to me, very disappointing. Now when they have sent me tracking number for the machine, its just been lying at warehouse since yesterday morning and NZ Post courier have not collected it, again I will have to give them a call and find out what is the problem. I bought an AM07 black and it did not work for over 1 year now. I've been calling to have it fixed or replaced and the fan was out of stock of course my warranty is going to expired, i called to ask if the fan is back in stock but the rude customer service lady named Shaniece says to me with a slang language "when did ya AX for a replacement?" (where is THE Dyson reputation?) i told her many times, but its your guys fault i dont have a replacement by now as you guys never did until now. She told me i would have to pay for a new fan that they will no exchange it for me. I should have known by now but i decided to give another chance to Dyson as their products are great when they work...
So i bought a TP04 fan, and guess what a triangle with a warning sign comes up...
So not only i got stuck with 2 machines that dont work, i have to tolerate the rudeness of someone clearly not happy working for the company someone inconsiderately, aggressively or deliberately offensively. Please review the call that occur on Aug 9th at 5:26pm 2021.
