I have had the EWB Auto Loans since March 2019...Lets just say, EAST WEST HAS NEVER corrected our account!

If you ask them for a Statement Of Account (SOA) or Payment History, it will: 1. Take about one month to receive it, 2. Be incorrect 3. You'll make about 2-3 calls to customer service regarding the above, and lastly, 4. cry or be stressed due to their incompetence.

I will not talk about all the other issues with them, but I will talk about my most recent interaction. I've had 2 buyers for our car. 1 in 2021 and 1 in 2022. Both have decided to move on to a different seller because they cannot get a CORRECT amount from EWB.

Let me rephrase "correct". In June 2022, I requested an SOA and received one after one month. The amount for that was 661,869. It included interest and fees. One interest I did not agree with because we NEVER availed the BAYANIHAN I. Apparently with EWB, they will contact you regarding it, if they dont hear from you, they WILL ASSUME that you want to avail that "promo". So lets just say, I decided to choose my battles because I have tried and tried again to remove that BAYANIHAN I interest off my account for 1.5 years with NO luck! So I decided to just pay the 24,650 in interest for that bayanihan.

In December 2022, I decided to ask for an SOA because we had a potential buyer for our car, MIND YOU, I have been ON TIME with all my payments because I physically go to the bank to make my monthly payments! In December 2022, my SOA balance was 732,381! WHAT THE HELL?!?!? WHERE IS THE MONEY THAT I HAVE BEEN PAYING SINCE JUNE 2022 GOING?!?!?!?!? WHY IS THERE AN INTEREST OF 173,400 ADDED TO MY ACCOUNT?!?!?!?!

I called EWB on Jan 9,2023 and asked them, apparently I partook in the Holiday Payment Program. WHY? I never availed that! I never received a call, text, email regarding that option! The customer service rep told me that since I didn't respond to their said communication, I automatically availed it! WHY THE [censored] WOULD I AVAIL IT IF I HAVE BEEN GOING TO YOUR BRANCH EVERY MONTH TO PAY MY AMORTIZATION?!?!? Thankfully I kept all my blue receipts.

I emailed Autocollections Jan 23,2023 and asked them waive that interest of 173,400 and sent them my bank statement, my receipts, and asked them WHY WHY WHY my SOA balance looked as if I never paid anything!

I have called Feb 12 asking for an update and they said it should be 5-10 banking days from the time I emailed. So I called back again on Feb 14 since It was 18 banking days, again, they said they will escalate the matter and someone will call me within 24-48 hours. I called again Feb 16, nothing. Same [censored] different day.

Today, I received the SOA that I requested to waive the promo that I never availed. I let them get away with the 24k from the bayanihan I but this time im not letting them get away with 174k! I look at the "Updated" SOA and IT WAS NEVER UPDATED! Only thing that changed was the dates! YOU MEAN TO SAY I WAITED ALMOST A WHOLE MONTH FOR NOTHING?!?!?!

I called customer service, very polite...and again the same script "we will esclate your issue with the officer that is handling your account maam, they will call you 24-48 hours" I refused that answer because they gave me that same answer FOUR TIMES ALREADY! No one has yet to call me back!

EAST WEST BANK NEEDS TO BE BANNED FROM ANY KIND OF LOANS! THEYRE SO QUICK TO TAKE YOUR MONEY OR SEND SOMEONE TO YOUR HOUSE IF YOU 'MISS' A PAYMENT OR ARE SO QUICK TO AVAIL THE MOST NEW AND IMPROVED PROMO SO THEY CAN STACK INTEREST AFTER INTEREST IN YOUR ACCOUNT! BAN EAST WEST!

Desired outcome: Waive the Holiday promo that I never availed!! that is 174,000 worth of interest that I never wanted or deserved!!! Give me an updated SOA without that interest!!!!

I have exactly the same issue with you, apparently their customer service is useless. I dont know what to do right now, you dont have means to communicate with eastwest bank but only with their customer service.

Im planning now to consult with legal services.

Sir I am so sorry you’re going through the same thing. It is now march 14, and I have yet to get a call back from the financial officer handling my account! They are even worse than scammers! Yes sir please let me know I am willing to present my evidences.

I have been negotiating since october 2022. I paid accrued interest even i did not avail because they said it was automatically applied. And blamed me for not replying to the text i do not remember receiving.

We don’t get these Text regarding their payment programs but get other text from them regarding other things. So wierd. I think there should be a forensic audit on their system!

Exactly same scenario with my PL it was the initial days of BAYANIHAN ACT 1 when I am about to complete my PDC's. I never missed any single PDC even it was pandemic days as Luckly got a continuous job.

They even sent numerous people asking for the PL due. "Never let those people enter my home and even asked for ID's" (looping from branch to departments). I am consistent emailing almost all their departments. Begun irate when they hired call centers calling hundred times a day that HIGHLY DAMAGES the batt of my CP, my rest and my JOB!

Now they have these law office\s spieling calls proposing for amnesty? WTF(face)... sounds a call center. Not at LAW? they don't even review my case? do these callers even think or have that idea that not all are as lame as what they are spieling at?...

Or these people are SCAMMERS using EAST WESTs weak system to update?! FYI the FB Rant Group (consist of all types of East West Loans) has numerous members which already turned their back on EAST WEST! sad so sad... Lots of DAMAGES if EAST WEST can answer all those... might WIN THEM BACK!

It is not the government mandate it is all good intensions. It is the private financial institution\s that should in a snap can cope nor update with,,... - RMR

We haven’t resolved it yet. They still say we owe them money from interest from bayanihan & holiday payment program that we never availed. Looks like EVERYONE is going through this. My best friend has been fully paid for 2 years and has not gotten ORCR due to “other monies due”

Same case here. I was told that my ORCR is already on process. Last payment I made was March2023. Someone came into our house to inform me about my outstanting balance which is he don't know how much and that according to their system my last payment was April 25, 2023 of 40k which is not true. If meron sainyo na gusto ito dalahin sa social media or Tulfo para matapos na yung pang loloko nila sasama ako. Hindi biro ang ginagawa nila sa mga tao.

I have the same issue too but. Nung naagka pandemic I opted to make my payments thru branch.

Never received collections calls or updates until last May 2, i received an email for final notice of demand to pay balance in full and my account is 2 months past due na daw after I inquired sa ESTA service nila sa FB messenger. Like paano nangyari yun eh monthly nagbabayad ng MA thru OTC. So i went to the branch and was connected to autocollections advised to hold on to my payments para makapagrequest ng payment history amd SOA. After 7 days dumating na si Payment history and SOA and I was shocked that since June 2021 pa daw hindi ako nag babayad ng MA when I had all the receipts with me. Kalokohan, then they are demanding me to pay the balance in full including those months na nagreflect sa system nila na walang payments but I had receipts. SCAM!

Ang bagal ng follow up, tapos eto nanghaharas na naman ng legal remedy and unit pullout daw when infact hindi nila maayos ang system of records nila.

Hello guys. Just to share an idea on how you can resolve this kind of issue better than reporting it to East West Bank head office.

You may complain through Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas Website. The BSP will take action immediately against the bank. Trust me.

Same experience with my PL. I recieved a msg from ESTA,stating that I still have 5 more Months to pay,so after 5 mos. Of paying,I received a call from their agent saying I still have 1 more month to pay. So I did pay. I thougt i was cleared From my PL but sad to say I am still receiving a call from them.telling me to pay may bills. I did contact their customer service asking for my SOA. But I didn't receive any update from them. They keep calling me from 7am to 9pm.

We have the same problem with East West Bank, more than 100k interest. They stopped the amortization of the loan for 10 months only to find out later that they will charge us the interest. They are bunch of scammers, they would like to take money from us without any bit of shame!

I am just starting my nightmare with this bank. My balance is 10k + 14.5k monthly amort so it should only be 24.5k to settle. Now they turned my acct to collections just missing 2 mos and to settle 48K+.

Rip off bank! 🤬

may group na po ba ? na stress na din po ako sa autoloan , ang dapat lang namin babayaran is 284k tapos biglang nagsend ng isettle ngayon naging 534k na with interest at fees daw dahil sa bayanihan at special holiday na nndun wala naman kaming alam hindi namin kami nag avail ng ganun.

ganyan din samin ngayon , ang dapat na babayaran lang namin is 284k ayun lang email nila samin na kung gusto na namin ifull payment, ang end ng loan namin is october 2023 pero na extend kasi nga may lapses kami na months ang alam namin is 2 months lang so dapat december 2023 tapos na kami ayun nalang ang di ko nababayran december 2023 nagulat kami kasi may bigla nalang may pumunta sa bahay na kukunin na daw nila yung unit kaya nagulat kami and kung may kulang man wala naman nag advise sa kanila tumawag nalang samin nung kukunin na yung sasakyan, so sabi nung bank magsend daw sila samin ng isesettle na amount so nagulat ako kasi naging 534,000 na yung babayaran namin almost 250,000 ang naging interest and fees na nadagdag nila. grabeee yung stress tapos binigyan lang kami ng 10 days para bayaran

I haven't bcoz what I did is to get my payment history with them first but I'm already making a draft to make a formal complaint with bsp already. Rn I'm already fed up transacting with them and I'm so done with them. They never resolved my issues.

hi we are also experiencing this as well. a legal company is already contacting us for reposessiom when in reality we have been paying diligently since oct 2023 however last dec 2023 we cant pay in the provided promisory acct #. called them several times and sabi may "system maintenance" and wala daw matataad sa interest. called again this january and may tatawag daw na account officer. unti FEB 1 someone called from a legal company for repossession na daw when this year matatapos na payment ng car and may interest pa... what a scam. pls update us if may group na. please

Same here. I read in some threads that you also need to secure your SOA for you to see charges that are not in your Payment History. Once you already have all your supporting documents, send your email to EastWest and cc BSP. I'm going to do the same.

I have the same experience. Paulit ulit lang akong sinasabihang someone will reach out daw pero walang tumatawag. Ayaw pa ako ipakiusap sa supervisor. Wala daw supervisor. No to eastwest bank na talaga.

Same here almost the same case. Our loan ends last May but to our surprise we are tagged delinquent account.. Upon checking they auto debit all the money on our account, that's 650k clean, just wow. I hate this bank. Now we are thinking to do a legal action. So stressful
