Ecco sandals soles cracked and disintegrated

I forgot to say that ecco vietnam even had charged me for the replacement of ecco original soles with local poor quality soles. ecco soles get crumbling and cracking and disintegration and customer is charged for it, what would you say to that?

Meanwhile all the upper parts of the pairs in the photo are still visibly in good new conditions, so no need for any specialized inspection facilities at your office in singapore in order to detect the defects, just human eyes can see it easily like ecco vietnam staff had seen it.

Well received your prompt advice.

As talked over the phone, almost a month has passed since I sent my customer complaint to ecco vietnam; asia-pacific, and global and the in-house line of communications of ecco seems to be not working properly; getting me into a long and tedious correspondence with various pics who kept asking me same questions all over again.

Ecco offer to me for a replacement pair of sandals is far from a good fair response in customer service; as I had clearly pointed out that me and my wife got several pairs of ecco sandals and shoes damaged in same sole condition even after a short time of purchase and use. you mentioned a 02 years' guaranty for ecco shoes, then if I am to bring all the damaged pairs of ecco shoes to your office in singapore next week, I would need more replacements from ecco than only for 02 pairs of sandals that I am expecting for.

In the meantime, i'd recommend to ecco to put on public notice at all your retail pos worlwide that ' ecco footwear to be worn regularly to avoid soles damages; otherwise, the soles will come off even new and unworn and warranty is valid for 02 years only after date of purchase '

I am a fan of ecco brand and been using ecco shoes for more than 15 years.
Everywhere I go shopping in the world, I buy ecco shoes and sandals if there are new releases. unfortunately, during recent past 2-3 years, I have been running into bad experiences with your products especially in the material disintegration at the soles of the shoes and sandals just after a few months in the shoe cabinet! me and my wife have so far got nearly 08 pairs of ecco shoes and sandals of various types damaged at soles and had to send them to local ecco dealers for make-shift sole replacements which surely cannot at all match the quality of original ecco soles but still we had to pay for the repairs. please note we buy ecco thanks to its shock-absorbing soles mainly.

I am writing this to inform you of the serious issue, even though the dealers have explained to me that the synthetic p, u. soles are supposed to disintegrate easily if the shoes/sandals are not worn regularly!

To be evident, I am enclosing pictures taken of my 02 pairs of ecco offroad sandals, 01 is old and has its soles replaced already, another is new but still its soles still cracked off even though I had followed the dealer's advice and kept wearing them regularly after my old pairs got problem and replaced their soles.

I hope you will see into the matter and revert.

Ecco boot heel has broken off

The heel on my favorite, most comfortable Ecco ankle boot has broken off and I am devastated!
Thinking that the heel could be glued on, I took it to the shoe repair man who said because of the molded rubber sole, he couldn't repair it. They boots are just two or three years old and in great condition, except for the heel. I love these boots! I've had other Ecco shoes and have been pleased with them. Ecco is a top brand on my list. However, I am unlikely to purchase any more Eccos because of this defect.
Can you replace these boots? Size 40

Ecco ecco croatia/rijeka tower shop

Good day

On Saturday, 28/10/2017 I bought a pair of wonderful shoes from yours Rijeka Tower center shop.
Price was fair for Ecco product. On arrival home I released that I was entitled for 10 percent discount because the shoes were paid with Amex and Amex still have a 10 percent discount deal on all shoes and bags in all shops in Croatia.
I have contacted shop and after some time I have received the answer that nothing much could be done about the discount because sails women was unexperienced and shop is not obliged to advertise such a deal between principal(ecco Croatia) and Amex.I have tried to explain to the shop manager that the discount deal is official and advertised on the web but without success.
I did not want to argue about the self explanatory fact and I instead I chose straight complain to main office.
Not to mention that I am a proud customer of ecco for at least 10 years.This purchase is first one which I made in Croatia.
Hopefully this will be sort out on mutual satisfactory.

Ecco ecco buchannan galleries

Dear Sir or Madam,

I walked into the above store at 12.10pm today and was absolutely shocked !Three members of staff, two female and one male, completely ignored me despite me picking up a pair of shoes and twice trying to make eye contact. The male staff member was more interested in playing with a charity tin and all three were engrossed in conversation. I shop in many branches of ECCO and have always found the level of service to be of a high standard until today. You lost a sale of £110.I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Ecco ecco dress shoes

Recently, while walking in Manhattan on a clear day, one of the soles of my ECCO dress shoe's started to literally disintegrate! These are shoes I rarely wear (approx 5 to 10 times a year)and have had for approx seven years.
Needless to say this was extremely embarrassing and mind blowing. These shoes were over two hundred dollars and kept clean in their original box. There is no reasonable explanation for this. Is there any recourse for this?

Ecco ecco men shoe in brown suede

I was shocked to find that the rubber soles of my new shoes have totally disintegrated. Please look at the attached pictures. I have always been an "ecco" fan and have bought different shoes in the past. This is the first time i have this bad experience and hope you can replace these shoes. At the very least, the product should be "fit for purpise"

Ecco ecco brown shoes

Had a horrible experience with an expensive pair of Ecco shoes this weekend. My wife and I went out for dinner to a friend's home and once there, I realized the soles had literally disintegrated, leaving gazillions of ugly and dirty fragments in their living room. When I came home, I realized there were big chunks of damaged sole in my car as well as all over our home. For a company that considers itself as a provider of high quality shoes, I find this experience unconscionable and would like a full refund.

Ecco ecco track boots

The soles disintegrated. I went to put on my boots and when I stood up the bottoms (soles) just fell apart.
I paid over $200 for these boots and I think they should have lasted longer.
I stored them in my closet, during the summer months.
I wear them for fall hunting and fishing.in the spring for hiking.
they have a number 49 on the bottom. I guess that is the size.
They are brown leather with a "Gore-Tex" tag.
I bought them at Hills Shoes in Cana, Virginia USA 24317
This happened today, August 25, 2017.
I would like a new pair.

Ecco shoes

I bought a pair of Ecco shoes some 7 years ago, did wear them only 4 times. On June 2017 I put them on again an went to work. I was not able to walk anymore because after some 100 meters of walking the sole was disolving! This is clearly a material fault, therefore I put a complaint at Ecco but the answer was that without original receipt and exact purchase date nothing can be done. I am very disappointed, this is the last pair of Ecco I have ever bought, although the confort of the shoes is excellent.

Ecco contacted customer service 3 times by email and numerous times by phone and not had any response back.

My father recently wanted to buy me as a gift a pair of leather sneakers from your UK store. So we visited one in the nearest town (30 miles away) to see if they had them. Unfortunately they did not stock what I wanted in my size and the staff didn't know if they would get anymore in. So my father bought me a gift card instead so I could get them online. On trying to buy them online I then realised you don't allow gift cards as a payment option.

Since then I have contacted Customer Service to ask if they could help me with this query as I have a £100 gift card but I can't use it online and I doubt I will be going to the store in the near future. After sending 3 emails and tried calling 8 times and left voice messages I've had no response back.

Really disappointed with this service as your brand comes across as extremely helpful on your website - but it's not as you ignore customers. In the meantime, I'm left with a wasted £100 gift card.

Ecco expensive ecco shoes made from harmful toxic materials!

At 05/27/2017 I purchased pair of Ecco Soft Retro Sneaker :
Model number: [protected].
These shoes are the worst shoes I have ever purchased. I only wear it one time for 7 hours, when I removed them, the upper surfaces of my foot was red, swollen, severe burned and itching. I could not sleep at night, woke up at 2 am and the tops of my feet were on fire!
It has happened when I was in vacation in London. My vacation was spoiled. I had problems walking, even when I used a different pair of shoes.
When I came back home I went to the doctor, where I was diagnosed with Contact Dermatitis caused by the contact of the foot with parts of the shoe due to the toxic chemicals in the material that the shoes were made from, or dyes and glues used in the manufacturing process. Over 60+ years I wore many different brands of shoes cheap or expensive, never had problems like this.
Fairly embarrassing, that very expensive Ecco shoes made from harmful toxic materials! Ecco have to recall this model, it may harm peoples. This company cannot be trusted, and I'll never buy Ecco shoes again.
I was lucky, the store where the shoes were purchased, gave me the full refund.

Please excuse me for the late reply.
We are sorry to hear what has happened to your feet, and we hope you can assist us in identifying what might have caused this. Please send me a private message with your e-mail address in order that I can arrange that the shoes are picked up, so that we can have the shoes tested at our laboratory, and you will of course be compensated.
ECCO has stringent legal requirements for any chemical substances used within the manufacturing of our leather and shoes, and an incident as described by you should normally not could happen.

Hello Simon,
I returned Ecco Soft 7 Retro Sneaker to Nordstrom Rack, where it was purchased, Store gave me the full refund.

However I have a lot of trouble from Ecco Soft 7 Retro Sneaker. It has happened when I was in vacation in London 06/16 - 06/21/2017. My vacation was spoiled. I had problems walking, suffering from severe burning and itching, could not visit many places I expect to visit, When I came back home, from 06/23/2017 I not been able leave home, cannot wear any shoes, suffering from severe burning and itching.

I request compensation $3000 for all trouble from Ecco Soft 7 Retro Sneaker.

Ecco shoes

Ecco is a junk . I west my money .from one month ago until now I have blister from ecco shoes . I only wear it for one time . One month ago I bought a ecco shoes model touch flat form santiago from ahwaz in iran . When I test it in store it was comfortable. But tomorrow I wear it for 6 hours and because swell of my foot in long hours the lether must have flexibility but it was terrible painful and all my foot fingers make blister until now ...specialy it has a lether ring around the lether of foot that it work like a force clamp and avoid to flexibility of the lether .this disign is not suitable for comfortable shoes . The disigner was fool . When I described for sells man and your expert in tehran they didn't accept my problem . I want to pay back my moneyo... I west my mony . I want my mony . It was junk . I advice my friends to avoid west their mony for ecco shoes. The disigner is fool

Ecco I am complaining about my ecco sandals I purchased

The Velcro does not work any longer yet the rest of the shoe including the soul is still like new. I have been back to the store for a solution, but there doesn't seem to be one. I don't want to put out another $130.00 for just a simple Velcro problem. Also how do I know the same thing won't happen again. I love the shoe but am very disappointed. They are the ECCO men's Yucatán sandal. If you need more info please let me know exactly what that is.

Ecco soles of new shoes are gummy, sticky, and disintegrate!

Shoes were purchased as new several months ago thru a reseller on Ebay. Earlier today I started to wear them and they are a mess as you can see from the photos.
I have purchased many ECCO shoes in the past and have never encountered this problem.
Although certainly manufactured by ECCO, ECCO refuses to warranty any shoes, even brand new shoes, purchased on Ebay.
This is an obvious manufacturing defect. Since the Company refuses to acknowledge and make correction for a manufacturing defect, I will never purchase ECCO's again.

Ecco I am complaining of a new shoes I bought it

I bought ecco shoes from The UK then i back to Egypt and the shoes were with me
I wore it two times it was very nice but at the third time when i was in the street i discovered that there is something wrong when i walk I checked my shoes to know what is the issue i found that the button at the heel losted and the heel cut from its two sides and it cracked
Until i arrived at my home the second shoe became as the other
I complain now because i bought shoes with famous name ecco and i didn't wear it more than 4 times
I think this shoes had a defect before i bought it

Ecco favorite ecco shoes destroyed after sent in for inspection

Caution: be careful about taking advantage of eccousa's policy of checking your shoes for defects/problems. They will provide you with a free mailer to send your shoes to them for inspection. I did this with my favorite pair of shoes with a note that I wanted them sent back to me since they were in very good condition except for a small sole issue. Instead, they sent me a gift card and destroyed my favorite shoes. They refused to return my shoes. I even wrote to their global headquarters, but received no answer. I wanted them to return my shoes as I had indicated in the note that accompanied my shoes to them or to have them make me a new pair. No response from global headquarters. This was a terrible experience for me with ecco.

Hi,

I am writing to make a complaint against one of ECCO sales person namely AMIT KUMAR in Mushrif Mall Abu Dhabi, UAE branch. This person is rude to costumers and we suffer discrimination, this person is not fit to be in sales business (we what this person terminated ASAP). Ecco ecco shoes got hydrolyzed.

My ecco shoe got hydrolyzed.

I purchased the shoe in last June from ECCO showroom in Al Ashmak Mall, Qatar. I was using regularly. Last week I felt the difference and I found the right heel bottom part was broken and rubber powder coming out. I took it to show room and came to know that the problem arises, if it was not weared for sometime. And to complaint to the site as they have no way to fix the same. Hence the complaint.

Ecco horrible customer service

I have been wearing ECCO shoes (as well as sneakers, boots, and sandals) almost exclusively for around twenty years and have generally loved them for their comfort. In spite of this, I have just ordered my last pair. I ordered a pair of shoes online because my local store didn't have my size (a common occurrence with ECCO) around three weeks ago. After waiting ten days for them, they sent the wrong size. I called and requested they send them express mail since this was their mistake and I didn't want to wait another ten days for shoes I paid $150 for. No deal. The woman said she would send me a return label to drop them off at UPS and that she would send the send the replacement pair as soon as she received notification from UPS that I had dropped them off. Now, another seven days later, I have heard nothing - no shipping notification - no refund - nothing. I called to find out what was going on. The customer service person (who turned out to be the same one who had promised to send the shoes as soon as the notification came) was extremely condescending and said she had sent them on Wednesday - not at all when she said she would - which should have been the Saturday before that. I asked her why she didn't send them as promised and why had I not received any shipping notification and she told me to "calm down." She had sent them on Wednesday and they were scheduled to be delivered next Thursday. She was altogether rude and condescending and not the least bit apologetic for lying to me or for my having to wait such a ridiculously long time for a pair of $150 shoes. There is no excuse for such a lag time in this day and age and even less of an excuse for ECCO subjecting me to such rude and condescending treatment. Again, my very last pair of ECCOs.

Ecco leather boots

I have had my boots for a couple of years having paid around €160. They hadn't been worn during the summer, and when I took them out to wear they looked OK. By the time I walked to my car, drove a few kilometers and got out, I found that both soles from the heel forward had detached and crumbled into powder. This was deposited on the carpet of my car, and has ground in and stained that, as well as leaving a trail of rubber pieces in the restaurant I entered.
Only on looking at your site, I found that there are thousands of complaints stretching back many years, and it appears nothing has been done except a few exchanges when complaints were pressed. Footwear at this price should not biodegrade, and should have been withdrawn at the first signs of the problem.
Please advise what action I should take for restitution
